Abstract

The characteristics of Surabaya tourism is urban tourism. With the limitations of natural attractions, Surabaya has an artificial tourism based on community based tourism in the residential area in Jambangan tourism village.TouristattractionsinJambanganusingexperientialtourism approach, which is touristsexperience firsthandandbe involved inlocal community life. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the field of urban tourism in Surabaya is done through three forms: the creation of tourist events, renovation or development of tourist attractions, and the creation of new tourist destinations or attractions. CSR in the tourist village Jambangan CSR categorized in terms of the development of tourist attractions. The background of implementation CSR in Jambangan because the location of business close from this village. CSR through assistance making catfish ponds, nursery fungi, and development of batik creations among the citizens of Jambangan. The goal is to have a diversity in Jambangan tourism village. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, in which the primary data source is obtained through interviews and observation, secondary data sources through the study of literature. Conclusions of this study are: ( 1 ) CSR in tourism will achieve the target and sustain if supported by community involvement, (2 ) The development of tourist destinations with CSR programs must adapt to the characteristics and local resources.

Abstract

This research aims to design a tourism package based on sport tourism, nature, and religion in Hambalang Village, Bogor Regency. The research method was descriptive qualitative, collecting field survey data or direct observation in Hambalang Village, Bogor Regency. As well as conducting interviews with the Head of Hambalang Village, the Head of the tourist village, Karang Taruna, the Chair of the MUI of Hambalang Village, MSME actors, the people of Hambalang Village, and the manager of the Environmentally Friendly Village. The results obtained from designing tour packages in Hambalang Village, Bogor Regency, are in the form of sport tourism, nature, and religious tourism-based tour packages called "Hambalang AdventTour" for tourists who visit without staying overnight and the "Live In Hambalang" package for tourists who stay overnight. Hambalang Village. The "Hambalang AdventTour" package consists of 3 (three) types of options, which are differentiated based on the travel route, including Hambalang AdventTour 1, Hambalang AdventTour 2, and Hambalang AdventTour 3. Meanwhile, the "Live in Hambalang" package only consists of 2 types of packages for tourism, which are differentiated based on place of residence and tourist activities. Abstract

Various kinds of social media platforms are starting to develop in the current era of digitalization, one of which is Instagram social media. This platform can share various forms of uploads in the form of reels, stories, and photos. Through the use of Instagram social media, one of the industries that makes promotion easier is the tourism sector. Aan Tourism Village has various potentials and attractions that can be offered to tourists, ranging from natural, cultural, and educational tourism. Instagram was chosen as the social media used to promote the tourist attractions of the village through the account @dewi.aan2021. This research aims to find out how the social media Instagram @dewi.aan2021 is used to promote its tourist attractions. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, by analyzing the content on the official Instagram account of Aan Tourism Village, Klungkung. The results of this research explained that optimizing the use of Instagram social media can increase the audience reach for each uploaded content on the official Instagram account of Aan Tourism Village through content regarding tourist attractions and activities in the village in the form of reels, stories, and photos that are designed attractively and creatively. It is hoped that this research can increase the creation of creative content to attract awareness of Aan Tourism Village, to Gen-Z and Millennial users who are the largest users on this platform. Abstract

Special interest tourism is a tour aimed at tourists who have a specific purpose or interest and motivation in traveling. In Ponorogo Regency itself, which is classified as special interest tourism on the Tourism Office website there are several tours such as Gunung Gajah Tour, Tanah Goyang Tour, Bedes Mountain Tour, and Pumpak Pare tour. But the existence of the tour all had only briefly gone viral but after a few months no longer heard the news. This study wants to find out how the role of the Department of Tourism in the Management of Special Interest Tourism in Ponorogo Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out the role of the Ponorogo Tourism Office and to know what obstacles are faced by the Ponorogo Tourism Office in the Management of Special Interest Tourism in Ponorogo Regency. The research method used is qualitative. The process of collecting data by interviewing the heads of community information groups in the district of Ponorogo. Data can be obtained from interview scripts, field notes or memos, and official documents. This analysis uses four indicators, namely Planning, Organizing, Movement and Supervision. The Tourism Office itself is seen as lacking in providing guidance and assistance in managing the specially meant tourism itself. many villages or tourism managers do not receive training, coaching, and assistance that is uneven, they are as if not noticed by the Department of Tourism. It can be concluded that the role of the Ponorogo Office has not been maximized and there are many shortcomings in training, guidance, assistance, and monitoring carried out by the Pariwsata Office, not necessarily and there is an imbalance in carrying out all of its duties and responsibilities.

Abstract

As one of the largest industries in the world, tourism has become a rapidly growing phenomenon, yet this industry is very vulnerable to its surrounding issues, including the current Covid-19 pandemics. The travel restriction imposition has made Central Java government reconsider about its initial tourism development strategies as they need to minimise the spread of the virus while trying to accelerate the tourism sector. To implement this adjusted tourism strategies, based on policy analysis taken by the Central Java Provincial Government and its applications in the field, a tourism program named “Njagani Plesiran” was launched. This jargon “Njagani Plesiran” was derived from local Javanese language which literally means maintaining tourism activities. This study uses a literature study method in analysing the tourism policies. To ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the Njagani Plesiran, the Great Chinese Temple Sam Poo Kong promotes the programes through various media channels. The expected impact of this tourism program implementation is that while local mobility within the country is still allowed yet regulated, allowing tourism businesses to remain open, the spread of Covid-19 in tourist destinations can be controlled and eventually prevented. Abstract

Along with the development and economic growth processing, the role of tourism nowadays is more essential, as new sectors that contibuting foreign exchange for the improvement of people's welfare. Indonesia is one country that has a many natural and cultural remarkable, also enjoy this benefit. However, tourism is often regarded as one of the largest damage contributor to the preservation of the environment and the community, particularly through the development of the infrastructure. Yogyakarta Province as one of the tourist destinations, also face the same problem, a shift in cultural values, social and environmental wisdom. Ecotourism then regarded as one of the policy alternatives that can be used as a solution to this problem. By using a qualitative approach, this study was conducted with the aim of formulating a model-based sustainable ecotourism cultural values, social and environmental wisdom that will support the successful development of tourism in Yogyakarta. With the development of this policy model, expected to be a guideline for governments in developing national policies in the field of sustainable tourism in order to strengthen the economic independence in the region.

Abstract

The karapan sapi festival is a form of cultural output that features cow race attractions. A series of events make an attraction for tourists to visit. This research aims to explore the karapan sapi festival, the tourist attraction of the karapan sapi festival, and the sustainable karapan sapi festival on the economy, socio-culture and environment. The tourist attraction of the karapan sapi cultural festival is interesting to study because it can build tourism that can involve the local community, so as to preserve the karapan sapi cultural festival. This research method is a phenomenological method used to explore qualitative data. The technique of extracting data is observation at the karapan sapi festival and interviewing the karapan sapi community, children or the younger generation, sellers, and tourists visiting the karapan sapi festival. Researchers also collected previous studies and media as data reinforcement. The results of this study show the phenomenon and attractiveness of the karapan sapi festival including: (a) the phenomenon of the karapan sapi festiva;(b) the components of tourist attraction and tourist interest in the karapan sapi festival; (c) tourist attraction at the sustainable karapan sapi festival. Abstract

Bandung is a large city with a Muslim majority population and is a leading tourist destination in Indonesia, so that it has the potential to develop halal tourism. Nevertheless, some stakeholders in the city of Bandung, such as hotels and restaurants are still reluctant to direct their business to be halal-certified. The purpose of this study was to analyze the readiness of halal tourism stakeholders in the city of Bandung. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations and interviews with tourism stakeholders, including hotel entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, travel service bureaus, tourism destination parties and associations as well as the City of Bandung Tourism and Culture Office. The findings of the study, First though not yet having a halal certificate, entrepreneurs in the tourism sector have applied the concept of halal. Second, the Bandung City Government is in the process of making policies related to the concept of halal tourism. Third, a small number of tourism businesses do not really expect the existence of halal tourism label obligations, because it is considered not important for foreign tourists.

Abstract

South Siberut District on Mentawai Island has great ecotourism potential however its management is not yet optimal, including synergy and connectivity between stakeholders. This research was conducted using stakeholder analysis method and snowball sampling technique with expert judgment. The informants involved were twelve institutions representing four types of stakeholders, namely the Government, Community, Business, and Academics. The objective of this study is to identify stakeholders involved in ecotourism management; to classify and matrix their level of influence and interest. The significance of this research is to increase cooperation between stakeholders through optimizing their respective roles in South Mentawai. This study finds that, Firstly, the importance of government authority in ecotourism management; Secondly, half of all stakeholders have high interest, while the other half show low and very low interest in supporting ecotourism management; Third, half of all stakeholders are Crowd Stakeholders who have the potential to influence the overall management of ecotourism in the future. It is recommended that efforts should be made to inspire as many parties as possible to be involved as stakeholders. Secondly, increasing the competency capacity of human resources through education. Abstract

Masalah peran wanita dan pembagian kerja secara seksual ini sudah sejak dulu menjadi masalah yang senantiasa diperdebatkan. Achmad (2000) telah membahas teori-teori pembagian kerja seksual yang antar lain meliputi ; 1) toeri alam (nature) yang mengatakan bahwa perbedaan psikologis antar pria dan wanita disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor biologis yang secara kodrati ada pada kedua insan tersebut, 2) teori kebudayaan (culture) yang mengemukakan bahwa perbedaan tercipta melalui proses belajar dari lingkungan, 3) teori psikoanalisa yang mengemukakan konsep yang berpokok pada “penis envy” atau keirian pada kelamin pria, 4) teori fungsionalis dan marxis yang menyatakan bahwa lingkunganlah yang membuat wanita lemah dan 5) gerakan feminis yang pola pikirnya ditujukan pada factor-faktor kebudayaan dan sosial ekonomi.Sasaran pembangunan nasional adalah bersifat universal yang mempunyai arti bahwa daerah pedesaan dan daerah terisolir lainnya pun harus mampu terjangkau oleh roda pembangunan. Hal ini dimaksudkan bahwa semua lapisan dan golongan masyarakat termasuk wanita tidak terlepas dari sasaran pembangunan. Dari hal tersebut terlihat adanya suatu tantangan yang cukup berat bagi kaum wanita (Hemas, 2000).Oleh karena itu dalam upaya mengembangkan jenis usaha rumah tangga perlu dikaji sejauh mana peran wanita dalam menjaga kelangsungan keluarga, wanita dihadapkan pada suatu pengambilan keputusan dari berbagai masalah yang ada. Dalam pengambilan keputusan tersebut terdapat pola-pola pengambilan keputusan di dalam rumah tangga, sehingga dilihat seberapa besar pola pengambilan keputusan wanita pada kegiatan di sektor pariwisata. Adapun urgensi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut; (1) Tersusunnya teori-teori yang berkenaan dengan responsif gender terutama dalam bidang kepariwisataan, (2) Mendukung terwujudnya pengarus utamaan gender dalam bidang kepariwisataan, (3) Meminimalisasi bias gender dalam melakukan kegiatan guna meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga.
