Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on improving students’ collaboration skills in Social Studies learning in Grade VIII at UPTD SMPN 1 Peusangan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 64 eighth- grade students, evenly divided into two groups: 32 students in the experimental class who received treatment using the Project Based Learning model, and 32 students in the control class who received conventional learning. The data collection instrument used was a student collaboration skills questionnaire. Data analysis included normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS Statistics 25 software. The results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), so H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the implementation of the Project Based Learning model on improving students’ collaboration skills in Social Studies learning in Grade VIII at UPTD SMPN 1 Peusangan.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of using podcasts as a learning medium to improve students’ listening skills in Grade X of SMK PRIMA Bekasi in the academic year 2024/2025. The research method applied was a quasi-experimental design using a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class (30 students) taught with podcasts and the control class (30 students) taught using conventional methods. The research instrument was a listening skill test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions and 10 short-answer questions, administered as both a pre-test and a post-test. The results indicated a significant improvement in the listening skills of the experimental class. The average pre-test score in the experimental class was 57.47, which increased to 78.3 in the post-test, with a gain score of +20.83. In contrast, the control class only improved from 55.37 in the pre-test to 61.63 in the post-test, with a gain score of +6.26. The independent samples t-test showed a significance value (p < 0.05), meaning there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and those in the control class. Therefore, this research concludes that podcasts are proven to be effective in enhancing students’ listening skills. Podcasts provide flexibility, varied topics, and authentic language exposure that help train concentration, enrich vocabulary, and familiarize students with different accents and speaking styles.

Abstract

Dating violence or dating violence is a form of behavior that is hurtful or abusive towards a partner in a relationship carried out by one of the parties and the victim of this violence feels physically and mentally injured. One factor that triggers dating violence is family history, where the perpetrator who commits violence has witnessed violence perpetrated by their parents. Authoritarian parenting has an impact on adolescent behavior in committing dating violence. Lack of open communication and overt models of aggression can influence adolescents to imitate these patterns in dating relationships. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between Authoritarian Parenting Patterns and dating violence among students in Pekanbaru with quantitative research methods. The number of samples used in this research was 315 samples using a purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the Spearman correlation test, it has a sig value. 0.014 < 0.05 which states that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Based on this decision, it was stated that there was a significant relationship between Authoritarian Parenting and Dating Violence. The correlation coefficient figure of 0.138 means that there is a positive correlation. This proves that the higher the level of Authoritarian Parenting, the higher the Dating Violence.

Abstract

Pasar otomotif di Indonesia sangat kompetitif, sehingga perusahaan perlu fokus pada retensi pelanggan untuk mempertahankan keunggulan. Temuan ini juga mendukung teori SERVQUAL dan Brand Trust dalam konteks industri otomotif dalam mempertahankan pelanggan di tengah penurunan penjualan mobil nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Service Quality dan Brand Trust terhadap Customer Retention di Auto2000 Sukun, guna memberikan strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling sebanyak 100 pelanggan yang telah menggunakan layanan servis minimal tiga kali dalam setahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas (korelasi Pearson), reliabilitas (Cronbach’s Alpha), serta regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh variabel independen (Service Quality dan Brand Trust) terhadap variabel dependen (Customer Retention). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Service Quality berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Customer Retention (thitung = 5,273 > ttabel = 1,984; p < 0,05), dengan kontribusi terbesar pada aspek keandalan (reliability) dan jaminan (assurance). Brand Trust juga berpengaruh signifikan (thitung = 3,642 > ttabel = 1,984; p < 0,05), terutama dalam dimensi keandalan merek (brand reliability). Secara simultan, kedua variabel memberikan kontribusi sebesar 68,4% terhadap Customer Retention (Fhitung = 108,318 > Ftabel = 3,090).Kesimpulan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa peningkatan Service Quality dan Brand Trust secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan Customer Retention di Auto2000 Sukun. Saran untuk perusahaan antara lain mempertahankan konsistensi kualitas layanan, memperkuat transparansi dalam komunikasi merek, serta mengembangkan program loyalitas pelanggan. Temuan ini juga mendukung teori SERVQUAL dan Brand Trust dalam konteks industri otomotif di Indonesia.

Abstract

The use of paper tissues in daily life has become a habit of people in Indonesia, especially in urban areas. Excessive use of tissues causes problems for the environment. Consumers who are concerned about environmental issues are more interested in environmentally friendly products that are not only quality, but also have a positive impact on the environment. Green Product is a product that is not harmful to humans and the environment, does not produce excessive waste, Green Price is a nominal value of the exchange rate set by balancing the price with product quality that considers environmental impacts and products that have added value. This study aims to analyze the effect of Green Product and Green Price on Purchase Intention of wateru Bamboo Tissue Products. This research is quantitative research. The data collection method uses a questionnaire distributed online to 100 respondents who know Wateru Bamboo Tissue products in Malang City. The sampling used purposive sampling technique. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The classic assumption test results show that the data has met the criteria. The coefficient of determination test results are 0.484 or 48.3% and the rest is influenced by other variables. The results of the Green Product and Green Price hypothesis test partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on Purchase Intention on Wateru Bamboo Tissue products in Malang City. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that Wateru Bamboo Tissue products are advised to continue to develop Green Products and clarify the reasons for Green Price products in order to increase Purchase Intention on their products.

Abstract

This study aims to design a financial management information system based on Microsoft Excel for TK Islam Amalia in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial recording and reporting. In addition, the study analyzes the existing financial management practices and evaluates user perceptions of the developed system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, consisting of the analysis, design, and development stages. Data collection techniques include structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that financial management at TK Islam Amalia is still conducted manually and does not follow a standardized accounting cycle, such as journal entries, ledgers, and comprehensive financial reports. This is mainly due to limited human resources and a lack of understanding of financial applications. The Excel-based system designed in this study helps users to automatically record transactions, prepare more structured financial reports, and improve the ease and accuracy of financial recording. The findings emphasize the importance of improving financial management systems, enhancing user understanding, and optimizing the use of simple technology to support effective and accountable financial management at TK Islam Amalia in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan, Kemudahan Penggunaan, dan Persepsi Harga Terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen dalam Menggunakan Aplikasi Ferizy Penyeberangan PotoTano-Kayangan. Dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 126 responden pengguna aplikasi Ferizy berdasarkan rumus Hair dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Pengolahan data primer menggunakan Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) dengan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh: (1) Kualitas Pelayanan tidak berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen, (2) Kemudahan Penggunaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen, (3) Persepsi Harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen dalam menggunakan aplikasi Ferizy Penyeberangan PotoTano-Kayangan.

Abstract

The objective of research is to study effect of code-mixing technique to student speaking skill at SMK PRIMA BEKASI. The purpose of this study is to find out whether this language mixing technique had a significant influence on students' speaking ability. This research was done by using experimental research. This research involves X-A and X-B classes at SMK PRIMA BEKASI Jl. Swadaya I No.33, Jatimurni, Kecamatan Pondok Melati, Kota Bekasi, Jawa Barat. 17431. The sample of this study consist of 2 classes, such as X-A and X-B classes. X- A class is a class that is treated by using the code-mixing technique (as experimental class), while X-B class is a class that was not treated by the code-mixing technique (as the controlled class ) both techniques are compared and was found out the influence of the code - mixing technique. The results of this study prove that students' scores in learning to speak English by using code mixing techniques are improved well than without using code mixing. It can be concluded that the code-mixing technique is effective in teaching English because it shows a significant influence on the speaking ability of class X of SMK Prima Bekasi with a medium significant scale. The results showed that student learning outcomes taught by code mixing method were significantly improve better than students who taught without using code mixing method. Result of this research give important meaning for the development of policy of education, specially related to make up of the quality of Student’s Learning Achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the speech acts in the dialogue of the film Wish, focusing on identifying the types of speech acts and the functions and intentions behind them. This study is based on the importance of understanding the strategic use of language in film dialogue as a reflection of social interaction and complex emotional expression. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through the transcription and analysis of film dialogue using John Searle's speech act theory. The expected results are the classification of speech act types, such as assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative. Additionally, there will be an in-depth understanding of how these speech acts construct meaning, influence interactions between characters, and reinforce themes and messages in films. The research data consisted of 69 utterances taken from the film's dialogue transcripts and analyzed qualitatively and descriptively using a pragmatic approach. The results showed that assertive speech acts dominated, with 35 sentences, followed by directive speech acts with 17 sentences, expressive speech acts with 12 sentences, and commissive speech acts with 5 sentences. No declarative speech acts were found. Assertive speech acts primarily occur in situations involving conflict or leadership. They function as invitations and commands that motivate collective action. This analysis links speech act function to dialogue context, enriching our understanding of how language builds power, expresses emotion, and conveys social meaning in film narratives. The study provides pragmatic insights that can inform further research in film discourse analysis and language teaching.

Abstract

This research is motivated by field findings showing that records management at MMI is not well-organized, particularly regarding facilitative records. This has led to difficulties in information retrieval, accumulation of records, and risk of data loss. The aim of this study is to create an Archive Retention Schedule (JRA) for facilitative records at MMI and to identify the challenges encountered in their management. The research method used was action research with a descriptive qualitative approach The scope of this study focuses on facilitative archives in the last five years, including financial, personnel, legal, public relations, secretarial, and governance documents. The data were collected by means of observation, interview and documentation. Finally, the data were analyzed qualitatively.  The results of the study showed that the process of compiling a JRA involved several stages, namely the formation of a work team, archive inventory, drafting, and discussion to reach a final agreement. The preparation of the JRA provided guidance for museum staff in determining the storage period for active, inactive archives, and archives that were going to be destroyed or made permanent. This activity improved work efficiency, reduced the risk of losing important information, and ensured compliance with applicable archival regulations, as well as optimizing storage space.  The conclusion of this research is that the records retention schedule plays a very important role in improving records management at MMI. It is useful in preserving important information, facilitating data retrieval, and serving as a reference for staff to effectioely manage records. It is recommended to conduct continuous training for all staffs and to carry out regular evaluations and updates of the records retention schedule every 2 to 5 years
