Abstract

Breast cancer is the disease with the highest mortality rate in women worldwide. Breast cancer development is influenced not only by the intrinsic characteristics of tumor cells but also by the complex interactions between cancer cells, the immune system, and components of the tumor microenvironment (TME). Dysregulation of the immune response plays a crucial role in disease progression through various mechanisms, including immunosuppression, immune evasion, and altered immune cell function. This article aims to comprehensively examine the mechanisms of immune response dysregulation in breast cancer based on the latest scientific literature. The method used is a literature review by reviewing various relevant research articles and review articles regarding breast cancer molecular subtypes, TME characteristics, the role of immune cells, and factors influencing the immune response in breast cancer. The results of this study indicate that breast cancer molecular subtypes have distinct immunological characteristics that influence disease progression and therapeutic response. A deeper understanding of these mechanisms is expected to support the development of more effective therapeutic strategies, particularly immunotherapy tailored to the patient's biological characteristics.

Abstract

The selection of linear data structures directly impacts memory efficiency and software performance. This study conducts a profound comparative analysis between arrays and linked lists using a quantitative experimental approach. Benchmarking was performed across sequential access, random access, insertion, and deletion scenarios using C++ and Python with dataset sizes from 103 to 107 elements. Memory consumption was tracked via Valgrind Massif and the tracemalloc library. In C++, arrays consistently outperform linked lists in sequential access with a 3.2× speedup on 106 elements due to optimal CPU cache locality. Conversely, for middle insertions, linked lists show a dramatic advantage with a constant time of ~50ns, compared to 2.3ms for arrays (46,000× slower). Regarding memory for primitive data, singly linked lists incur a 200% pointer overhead and doubly linked lists 400% on 64-bit systems. This research concludes that arrays serve as the best default for intensive computation, while linked lists are recommended for dynamic data manipulation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the political thought of Al-Farabi and Al-Mawardi in the classical Islamic political tradition. The main problem in this study is the gap between philosophical-idealistic and normative-practical approaches that are often studied separately. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature approach through the study of the main works of the two figures and SINTA-indexed journal articles. The results of the study show that Al-Farabi emphasizes the concept of an ideal state (al-Madinah al-Fadhilah) that is oriented towards shared happiness through moral and intellectual leadership. Meanwhile, Al-Mawardi emphasized the practical aspects of government through the concept of the caliphate which includes the requirements of leaders and institutional systems. These two thoughts complement each other in understanding Islamic politics ideally and practically. This research confirms the relevance of the two thoughts in answering contemporary political challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the cultural identity negotiation processes of students from Kalimantan who pursue higher education in Semarang, Central Java. Employing an interpretive phenomenological approach through in-depth interviews with 12 informants selected via purposive sampling, this research reveals the lived experiences of students confronting differences in values, norms, language, and customs between their home culture (Kalimantan) and the host culture (Javanese). The findings identify three phases of identity negotiation: (1) cultural shock and value disorientation upon initial arrival; (2) selective adaptation strategies through linguistic and social code-switching; and (3) the formation of a hybrid identity that integrates elements of both Kalimantan and Javanese culture. The study also finds the significant role of the Kalimantan diaspora community in Semarang as a safe space for maintaining home cultural ties while simultaneously serving as a bridge for adaptation to the local culture.

Abstract

The character Gwan-sik presents a representation of anti-patriarchal masculinity that differs from the dominance patterns commonly depicted in popular media. This drama received diverse responses from the audience; some accepted Gwan-sik as the ideal male representation, while others considered him too ideal and difficult to find in real life. This study aims to determine the audience reception toward the representation of anti-patriarchal masculinity through Gwan-sik's character in the Korean drama When Life Gives You Tangerines. Using a constructivism paradigm and a qualitative descriptive method, this study collected data through in-depth interviews with five Indonesian viewers. The theoretical frameworks used are Stuart Hall's encoding-decoding and R.W. Connell's masculinity theory. The results show that the audience's reception of Gwan-sik's character is positive and diverse, according to their backgrounds. All informants tend to be in a dominant-hegemonic position in interpreting five aspects of Gwan-sik's anti-patriarchal masculinity, namely: equal relations, emotional support, rejection of dominance, sincere sacrifice, and emotional openness. In conclusion, this drama successfully presents a representation of anti-patriarchal masculinity accepted by the Indonesian audience through the negotiation of their respective socio-cultural contexts. Future research is expected to expand the diversity of informants and deepen the study on how Korean drama consumption contributes to shifting norms of gender equality in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Instagram content from @pssi on followers' information needs fulfillment and satisfaction. The Instagram account @pssi, as the official communication medium of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI), plays an important role in delivering information related to national football. However, a large number of followers does not necessarily indicate that information needs are fulfilled. This research employed a quantitative approach using purposive sampling with 100 active followers as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, then analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, simple linear regression, t-tests, and coefficient of determination. Results indicate that Instagram content from @pssi has a positive and significant influence on both followers' information needs fulfillment (R²=0.486, t=9.631, p<0.001) and followers' satisfaction (R²=0.429, t=8.582, p<0.001). Informative, consistent, interactive, and emotionally engaging content fulfills cognitive, affective, social integration, and entertainment needs.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the use of chatbots as customer service tools in digital financial applications, including GoPay. This study aims to examine the influence of user satisfaction and trust on the quality of GoPay chatbot services among UNISSULA Semarang students. A quantitative approach was employed through a survey of 100 students who had used the GoPay chatbot. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Version 27. The results indicate that both user satisfaction and trust have a positive and significant effect on chatbot service quality. Simultaneously, these variables explain 71.9% of the variation in chatbot service quality. The findings suggest that chatbot service quality is influenced not only by system performance but also by users’ satisfaction and trust in digital services

Abstract

This study is motivated by the empirical problem regarding the image shift of the music group .Feast, from aggressive social critique narratives to a more personal and emotional tone through the song "Nina". This extreme shift risks triggering the loss of loyalty from old fans. Therefore, this study aims to examine and analyze the effect of optical emotional branding in the song "Nina" on brand attachment and fan loyalty in the Kelelawar Semarang regional fanbase. This research employs an explanatory quantitative method using the S-O-R (Stimulus-Organism-Response) Theory approach. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who are official members of the Kelelawar Semarang fanbase, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Path Analysis with the assistance of the IBM SPSS program. The results of the study prove that: (1) Emotional Branding has a positive and significant effect on Brand Attachment; (2) Emotional Branding does not have a significant direct effect on Fan Loyalty; (3) Brand Attachment has a positive and significant effect on Fan Loyalty; and (4) There is a significant indirect effect of Emotional Branding on Fan Loyalty through Brand Attachment. The conclusion of this study confirms the occurrence of a Full Mediation phenomenon. This indicates that the emotional value of a song cannot instantly create fan loyalty, but absolutely must foster inner closeness (brand attachment) first as a bridge. As a recommendation, musicians and music industry practitioners are advised to not merely sell audio quality, but to design works that possess personal relevance and empathy in order to secure the long-term loyalty of their listeners.

Abstract

The rapid development of TikTok's live streaming feature has opened new opportunities for brands to reach consumers directly. This study aims to analyze the influence of watching intensity and trust level on purchase decisions among university students in Semarang City. Using a quantitative method with 100 respondents and multiple linear regression analysis, the results show that watching intensity has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions (t = 10.284 > t-table 1.984, sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Similarly, trust level also has a positive and significant effect (t = 11.531 > t-table 1.984, sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence purchase decisions (F = 125.747 > F-table 3.09, sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.722, indicating that 72.2% of purchase decisions are explained by both variables. This study concludes that higher watching intensity and trust level lead to greater likelihood of purchase decisions among students who watch SCORA product reviews on TikTok live streaming.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of philosophical discourse content on YouTube channel "Ferry Irwandi" on audience's accurate content perception and audience feedback. Using a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, data were collected via Likert scale questionnaires from 105 subscribers of the channel. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 27, including validity, reliability, normality, linearity, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing (t test and F test). Results indicate that YouTube content significantly influences accurate content perception (R²=0.654; t=13.938; sig.<0.05) and audience feedback (R²=0.385; t=8.037; sig.<0.05). These findings suggest that logically structured and data driven content enhances audience understanding and engagement, contributing to higher quality public discourse in the digital era.
