Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness, efficiency, and financing policies in ABC Kindergarten, considering the importance of optimal financial management in ensuring the quality of educational services and the sustainability of the institution. Financing issues are often a major challenge in early childhood education, especially related to limited funds, increasing operational needs, and demands for transparency and accountability. Therefore, a comprehensive evaluation is necessary to find a strategy for improvement. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case studies. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with principals, treasurers, teachers, and school committees; direct observation in the school environment; and analysis of financial documents and annual budgets. The analysis was carried out thematically to identify financing management patterns, the effectiveness of the use of funds, and the challenges faced. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of financing in supporting the learning process and the provision of basic facilities is quite good, although there is room for optimization, especially in supporting facilities. From an efficiency perspective, the use of funds is relatively economical, but the recording and reporting system is not fully automated, so it has the potential to cause delays in financial information. Meanwhile, financing policies based on parental contributions and foundation subsidies have proven to help maintain operational sustainability, but are still limited in terms of diversifying funding sources. This study recommends the need to improve a digital-based accounting system to strengthen transparency, increase the managerial capacity of school treasurers, as well as efforts to find alternative sources of financing such as cooperation with the private sector, the business world, or government programs. In addition, broader community involvement and strengthening internal governance are also important to ensure sustainable and accountable financing management for all stakeholders.

Abstract

This article discusses innovative models in higher education financing that aim to expand access and maintain quality more evenly in Indonesia. The main focus of this study is on the challenges of financing higher education, such as limited funds, infrastructure inequality, and quality gaps between regions that are still obstacles to realizing inclusive and quality education. This study uses a qualitative approach with the systematic literature review method on 25 sources of scientific literature published between 2020–2025. The results of the study show that financing models such as public-private partnerships (PPP), education crowdfunding, the use of financial technology (fintech), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs have great potential to encourage sustainability and equitable access to higher education. The PPP model, for example, can strengthen synergy between the government and the private sector in the provision of educational infrastructure, while crowdfunding plays a role in opening up wider public participation in supporting student financing. The use of fintech can provide a more flexible, transparent, and accessible payment system, while CSR encourages corporate contributions to support scholarships and university quality development programs. However, its implementation in Indonesia still faces a number of obstacles. Inhibiting factors include limited regulations governing alternative financing, low digital and financial literacy among students and the community, and unevenness in digital infrastructure between regions. Therefore, the development of the higher education financing system in Indonesia needs to be directed at diversifying funding sources, increasing the management capacity of educational institutions, and improving governance to be more accountable and transparent.

Abstract

Effective management of Operational Assistance (BOP) funds is a crucial factor in improving the quality of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) services. The BOP Fund has a strategic role in supporting the provision of facilities, infrastructure, and learning activities that are decent, equitable, and sustainable for early childhood. However, the effectiveness of its management is largely determined by the level of accountability and transparency of the organizing institution. This study aims to analyze the influence of accountability and transparency on the effectiveness of BOP fund management in PAUD institutions. The research method uses a quantitative approach with regression analysis techniques to test the relationship between variables. The research sample amounted to 40 respondents consisting of 15 school principals and 25 PAUD treasurers, selected by random sampling technique. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire based on a Likert scale of 1–5 that measured indicators of accountability, transparency, and effectiveness of the use of BOP funds. Data analysis includes classical assumption tests, reliability tests, t-tests, and linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the responses of the principal and the treasurer in the management of BOP funds with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The regression analysis also confirms that both accountability and transparency have a positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of fund management. These findings confirm that accountable and transparent BOP fund management practices are able to improve the efficiency of fund use, strengthen stakeholder trust, create sound financial governance, and support the success of education programs in early childhood education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital applications in financial reporting at UPTD SMP Negeri X. The focus of the research is to identify the impact of digital technology implementation on the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of financial reporting in educational institutions. The method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis in the March–May 2024 period. The research respondents consisted of four key personnel: school principals, treasurers, teachers in the field of infrastructure, and teachers in the field of curriculum who have been using the ARKAS application since 2022. The results of the study show that digital applications contribute positively to increasing the effectiveness of financial reporting. This is shown by the average scores on the indicators of accuracy (4.2), transparency (4.1), and timeliness (4.0) on a five-point scale. The implementation of digital systems helps minimize recording errors, speed up the validation process, and increase financial information disclosure. However, the utilization of advanced features such as financial analytics (43.75%), visual reporting (31.25%), and multi-unit integration (25%) is still relatively low. The main challenges found include limited technical training and low digital literacy which is recognized by all respondents (100%). In addition, the lack of supervision from related parties and the limitations of information technology infrastructure are also significant obstacles. Thus, the effectiveness of digital applications is not only determined by the sophistication of the technology used, but also by the readiness of human resources, institutional support, and organizational cultural adaptation. The findings of this study provide important implications for education managers, especially in the formulation of policies to strengthen technology-based governance. Investment in continuous training, infrastructure capacity building, and consistent supervision are key factors to maximize the benefits of digital applications in secondary education financial management.

Abstract

The Ballad of the Bird of Paradise is a new form of dance inspired by the behavior of the bird of paradise, a bird endemic to Papua that has long been recognized as a symbol of natural beauty and ecosystem preservation. This dance performance features two main characters, a male and a female bird. Conceptually, the two should display distinct movement expressions: the male character is presented through agile, dynamic, and captivating movements, while the female character emphasizes gentleness, elegance, and harmony of movement. These differences in expression serve not only aesthetic purposes but also hold symbolic meanings that reinforce the cultural values and philosophy of this dance. However, analysis of several performances, both live and recorded and displayed on social media, shows that the movement differentiation between the male and female characters is often inconsistent. This results in the symbolism that is at the heart of the Ballad of the Bird of Paradise dance being less visible, thus the depth of the intended cultural meaning is not fully conveyed to the audience. In fact, efforts to preserve and standardize the Balada Cenderawasih dance have been undertaken by the Papua Arts Council (DKTP), including through a 2016 seminar discussing choreographic standards and the meaning of the dance. However, the implementation of these standardizations in the field still faces various obstacles, both in terms of dancer understanding and the continuity of training. Based on these findings, this study recommends the importance of strengthening the differentiation of movements between male and female characters in each choreography. In addition, increased training intensity, artistic supervision, and promotion of the Balada Cenderawasih dance at the national level are needed.

Abstract

This research is intended to advance a more comprehensive understanding of how gender is portrayed in movies and how this medium may be used to investigate and discuss feminist problems. Furthermore, this study may give rise to conversations concerning the significance and influence of patriarchal narratives in a broader societal setting, as well as the part that women play in opposing repressive authorities. Qualitative methods are used, screening the film "A Feminism Study of Kill Bill Movie" through theory. The steps include reading, categorizing, and analyzing the text. No numerical data is required. Conclusions and suggestions are drawn from the research findings.  Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that *Kill Bill* serves not only as a narrative of personal revenge but also as a profound feminist statement against patriarchal oppression. Beatrix Kiddo's journey reflects a multifaceted resistance against various forms of gender-based subjugation, including objectification, control over bodily autonomy, and the imposition of traditional gender roles. Through her actions—reclaiming her right to life, motherhood, personal agency, and confronting male authority figures such as Bill—the protagonist symbolizes the overthrow of patriarchal dominance and the assertion of female power and identity. The study reveals that Beatrix's revenge transcends individual retaliation, positioning her as an agent of social and ideological change who challenges the oppressive structures embodied by male characters and institutions in the film. The narrative successfully blends visual symbolism, dialogue, and character development to project a strong feminist discourse, aligning with the principles of empowerment, resistance, and self-determination advocated in feminist theory. Thus, *Kill Bill* can be interpreted as both a personal struggle and a broader feminist rebellion against the systemic forces of patriarchy.

Abstract

This research discusses the problems faced in the implementation of interfaith marriages in Indonesia by reviewing the extent to which national legal provisions are in line with or contradict the principles of Human Rights (HAM). The focus of the research is an evaluation of the legal framework governing interfaith marriages and whether the legal arrangements are in accordance with the principles of human rights and how they impact on the fulfillment of everyone's rights. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory approach and a case approach. Data were collected through a literature study of primary legal materials such as the Marriage Law, Population Administration Law, and international human rights instruments, as well as secondary legal materials such as journals and court decisions. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively to identify gaps between national law and human rights principles. The results show that the provision of Article 2 Paragraph (1) of the Marriage Law that requires religious equality creates discrimination and legal uncertainty for couples of different religions. Although several court decisions have accommodated interfaith marriages, Supreme Court Circular Letter No. 2 of 2023 has tightened the restrictions. This study recommends the revision of the Marriage Law to accommodate a religion-neutral civil registration mechanism, as well as harmonization with international human rights instruments such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of street children's lives in Makassar City through an anthropological approach, highlighting how social and cultural structures influence their identity and behavior. Street children are not only understood as victims of poverty, but they are a social group with their own unique value systems, norms, and internal structures. They form an informal community that demonstrates solidarity, social cohesion, and their own way of life. This study adopts Anthony Giddens' theory of “structuration” and James C. Scott's theory of “resistance” to explain the position of street children as active agents whose daily lives are not only shaped by social structures but also reflexively reproduce and transform these structures through their actions and the power they hold against state dominance, such as symbolic actions and the use of urban space as a arena for negotiating their identities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at SMP Negeri 1 Bontomarannu, analyze the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of P5 implementation at SMP Negeri 1 Bontomarannu. Using descriptive qualitative methods, by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of P5 with the theme Voice of Democracy in the election of the student council chairman provided a contextual and meaningful learning experience for students. This activity not only introduces the democratic process in the school environment, but also becomes a means of strengthening character and developing student competence. The dimension of Belief and Fear of God Almighty is evident from the integration of religious values in the election process which emphasizes honesty, responsibility, and prayer in every stage of the activity. The Critical Reasoning dimension is achieved through vision-mission analysis activities, debates, and rational decision-making. The Global Diversity dimension is seen in the interaction of students who reflect tolerance, empathy, and the ability to appreciate differences. However, the obstacles in the implementation of P5 are the readiness of facilitators, the preparation of modules, and the monotony of project implementation activities
