Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Rumah Pelita team in addressing stunting among children under two years old and in conducting maternal classes in Semarang City. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings on the team's role in handling stunting and conducting maternal classes cover three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning is carried out through coordination among team members and relevant parties, including the preparation of materials, methods, media, and evaluation. Implementation focuses on how activities influence the reduction of stunting rates. Evaluation is conducted through both process and outcome evaluations. The findings regarding the role of the Rumah Pelita team include: leadership and coordination roles, healthcare service roles, health education roles, as well as administrative and monitoring roles. A key success factor is parental participation in fulfilling the nutritional needs of toddlers. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include participant tardiness and lack of enthusiasm in participating. These findings indicate that the strategies employed contribute to reducing stunting rates and support the zero stunting program in Semarang City.

Abstract

The presence of LGBT individuals (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) in society has raised complex discussions, especially when viewed from the perspectives of Islamic law and human rights. Islamic teachings generally view same-sex relations and gender transitions as actions that deviate from the moral and natural order established by religious texts. In contrast, the human rights framework emphasizes individual dignity, personal freedom, and the right to non-discrimination, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. This article seeks to explore the intersection of these two perspectives, not to provoke conflict, but to offer a balanced understanding rooted in empathy, justice, and social awareness. Using a qualitative normative approach, this research examines Islamic legal sources, national regulations, and international human rights documents. The study finds that while Islamic law maintains clear normative boundaries, there is still room for inclusive dialogue and respectful engagement, especially in multicultural societies like Indonesia. Bridging these two frameworks requires not only legal analysis but also cultural sensitivity and ethical responsibility.

Abstract

The lack of integration of tolerance and multiculturalism education has resulted in the continued prevalence of intolerant and radical attitudes among society and the younger generation. This study aims to describe the implementation and internalization process of tolerance values through Akidah Akhlak learning at MAN 1 Pringsewu and MA Darul Ulum and to identify its impact on students' attitudes. The study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that MAN 1 Pringsewu emphasized cognitive and affective approaches in tolerance learning, such as through the delivery of material "Teenager Social Akhlak" and the screening of educational videos. Meanwhile, at MA Darul Ulum, the internalization process was carried out using a value classification approach, where students actively identified tolerant and intolerant attitudes through group discussions and the habituation of polite attitudes. The impact of the internalization of tolerance values in both madrasas was seen in the increasing awareness of students to respect differences, maintain polite attitudes, and avoid deviant behavior both in and outside the school environment. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating tolerance values in learning as a foundation for forming students' character amidst social diversity. Abstrak. Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are critical for 21st-century learners, yet their development is often hindered by rote-based instructional practices, especially in Javanese language subject. This study aimed to improve the HOTS of 10th-grade students through the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in wayang text instruction. Conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR) at SMAN 13 Surabaya, the study involved 36 students from class X-2 over two action cycles. Each cycle followed Kemmis and McTaggart’s model: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, HOTS-based written tests, and project documentation. Results revealed a significant improvement in students’ HOTS, with post-test scores increasing from an average of 64.7 to 68.4, and the percentage of students reaching the minimum mastery level rising from 32% to 47%. Students also exhibited more active participation, stronger analytical skills, and enhanced creativity in completing their projects. The PjBL model enabled students to critically engage with wayang texts, connect them to real-life contexts, and strengthen Javanese cultural literacy. These findings affirm the relevance and effectiveness of PjBL in enhancing HOTS, supporting the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has opened up opportunities for the emergence of new threats to national security, one of which is the hacking of information systems. Cyber attacks not only cause economic losses and disruption of public services, but also pose a serious threat to Indonesia's digital sovereignty. In this context, state intelligence has a strategic role as the frontline in detecting, analyzing, and counteracting various forms of threats to the country's strategic information systems. However, strengthening the state intelligence function in the face of hacking crimes still faces various obstacles, both from the aspects of regulations that have not been adaptive, weak inter-agency coordination, to limited technology and human resources. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of strengthening state intelligence in counteracting hacking of information systems, and formulate the urgency of national legal policy reforms that support the formation of a strong, integrated, and professional cyber intelligence system. Using normative legal research methods supported by conceptual and case approaches, this study concludes that strengthening state intelligence requires regulatory reform, institutional integration, and investment in technology and human resources to maintain the nation's sovereignty in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the factors contributing to the low learning interest of students in Christian Religious Education in Grade IV at SD Negeri Handaka, East Sumba. The background of this research stems from the phenomenon of many students showing a lack of interest in participating in the learning process, which leads to low classroom participation and suboptimal academic achievement. This issue is concerning because Christian Religious Education is not only intended to transfer religious knowledge but also to build character and instill spiritual values in students. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal several key factors affecting students' low interest in learning. First, the lack of positive interaction between teachers and students leads to ineffective communication and students feeling neglected. Second, teachers’ inability to effectively use educational technology results in monotonous and conventional learning experiences. Third, the lack of varied teaching strategies fails to actively engage students. Fourth, the limited availability of learning media and tools, such as visual aids or digital devices, becomes a significant obstacle. Additionally, poor time management in classroom activities contributes to students’ boredom and disengagement. These findings highlight the need for concrete efforts from various stakeholders. Teachers must receive training in using technology-based teaching tools and in developing engaging, interactive teaching strategies. Strengthening interpersonal relationships between teachers and students is also crucial for creating a supportive and motivating learning environment. By applying contextual and constructivist-based learning approaches, it is expected that students will become more motivated and enthusiastic in learning. The implications of this study are expected to serve as a reference for teachers, schools, and policymakers to improve the quality of Christian Religious Education, making it more relevant, interactive, and enjoyable for students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Jesus' exemplary role as a Great Teacher in the Christian Religious Education learning process in fifth grade at SDN 38 Pahauman. Jesus is seen as a teacher who not only conveys knowledge but also instills noble spiritual values, character, and integrity in His students. Jesus' exemplary role, such as compassion, patience, firmness, humility, and the ability to teach teachings with real life, is an inspiration in the world of education, especially in Christian religious learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through observation of the learning process, interviews with Christian Religious Education teachers and students, and documentation of learning activities. The results of the study show that teachers strive to apply Jesus' exemplary role in every aspect of learning, both verbally and nonverbally. For example, teachers demonstrate compassion and patience in dealing with students who have different backgrounds and characteristics. Teachers also instill the values of firmness in enforcing discipline and use a contextual teaching approach, so that the teaching material can be more easily understood and applied by students in their daily lives. However, the implementation of Jesus' exemplary values still faces challenges, particularly in terms of consistent teacher behavior and a lack of support from the overall school environment. Several factors, such as limited time, teacher administrative burdens, and a lack of continuing education, also hinder the deep internalization of Christian values. The implications of these findings are the importance of training and strengthening the capacity of spiritual teachers so they can continue to be true role models for students. Furthermore, creativity is needed in integrating Gospel values into the learning process to shape students' overall character in accordance with Christ's example.
