Abstract

This study aims to determine how strong the relationship is between leg muscle strength and 100-meter running speed in class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo. The hypothesis in this study is "There is a relationship between leg muscle strength and 100-meter running speed in class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo." The method used in this study is the experimental method, which follows the steps "Pre Test (X1), Treatment (T), and Post Test (X2). The sample determined for this study consisted of 20 class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo, who were selected by Purposive Sampling. The data obtained showed that r count (0.866) was greater than r table (0.444). So, there is a significant relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The data can prove that there is a relationship between leg muscle strength and 100-meter running speed in class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the Explicit Instruction Learning Model on Front Roll Ability in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Tilango. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The independent variable is the Explicit Instruction Learning Model and the dependent variable is the Front Roll Ability. The sample amounted to 24 students from class VIII with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results of the study obtained an average pre-test value of 38.09 and an average post-test value of 43.88. The results of hypothesis testing obtained tcount ttable, namely -22.548 1.71. Thus the hypothesis that reads “There is an Effect of Expilicit Instruction Learning Model on Front Roll Ability (research study on SMP Negeri I Tilango students), can be accepted. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Expilicit Instruction Learning Model affects the Front Roll Ability of SMP Negeri I Tilango students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media for Aerobic Fun Young gymnastics for rhythmic gymnastics subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa Timur. Using the Research and Development (RD) approach with the ADDIE model framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), this study produces an innovative and integrated learning media package. This package consists of a guidebook and learning videos that are designed interactively, combining elements of music, and movement visualization. The data collection process involved interviews with teachers and students, direct observation and distributing questionnaires to measure the effectiveness and practicality of the media. The results of validation by three experts, namely (gymnastics experts, learning experts and multi-media experts) showed an average score above 4, indicating that this learning media is very suitable for use to support the rhythmic gymnastics learning process in schools. It is expected that this learning media can improve students' understanding and skills in rhythmic gymnastics and provide a more enjoyable and effective learning experience.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of upper passing ability in volleyball games in class X TAV students of SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. The aim is to improve the learning process of physical education, sports and health through the application of the Discovery method, the aim is to improve students' ability to do upper passes in volleyball games taught at SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. The increase in the ability to pass the upper ball through the discovery method in learning physical education, sports and health has exceeded the performance indicators set at 80%. This means that each cycle is very clear the difference in the increase, namely between the initial observation to cycle 1 the difference is 8.33 and cycle 1 to cycle 2 the difference is 37.04. Thus, the hypothesis in the classroom action research states that "through the discovery method, the ability to pass the upper ball in volleyball of class X TAV students of SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa can be improved. From the description of the research results above, it is concluded that the ability to pass the upper ball through the discovery method of class X TAV students of SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa has increased.

Abstract

This study aims to develop AKI (Aerobic Takikino) gymnastics at SD Negeri 11 Kota Barat. In aerobic gymnastics learning for students of Sd Negeri 11 Kota Barat which can be used to support learning so that students can more easily convey the material that has been taught, AKI (Aerobic Takikino) gymnastics also provides insight to students that Aerobic gymnastics can be used at every level of elementary school. This study is a type of RD (Research and Development) research. This research was developed using the Five Steps of the ADDIE development model, namely: 1). Analysis, 2). Design, 3). Development 4). Implementation, 5). Evaluation. The data collection technique in this study used insight, observation and questionnaires. This study produced AKI gymnastics (Aerobic Takikino). in aerobic gymnastics learning at SD Negeri 11 Kota in the form of learning media in the form of video books containing music, writing and pictures. Based on the validation that has been carried out by researchers on 3 experts, namely: gymnastics experts, learning experts and multi-media experts, it produced a value of 4 with a very appropriate category, the validation results showed that the AKI gymnastics development product (aerobic takikino) was suitable for use in gymnastics learning at SD Negeri 11 Kota Barat.

The validation results show that the development product of Mongobohulotawu Wawu Mongodulahu Aerobic gymnastics for students of SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa Timur made by the researcher is feasible to be used in the rhythmic gymnastics learning process for students of SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa Timur.

Abstract

The development of learning media is a crucial effort in improving the quality of the learning process, particularly in Geography. The general background of this research is the low interest and understanding of students regarding the hydrological cycle material, which is caused by learning media that are less engaging and less interactive. Specifically, at SMA Negeri 1 Bukal, the use of conventional learning media has not been able to facilitate students in comprehensively understanding the concept of the hydrological cycle. The knowledge gap found is the lack of learning media that combines informative visualization and ease of access, making it difficult for students to internalize the material. In this study, we developed learning media in the form of an infographic book specifically designed for the hydrological cycle material for class X. This infographic book integrates images, diagrams, and concise, easy-to-understand text to help students visually and systematically understand the hydrological cycle process. The development results show that this medium effectively improves students' understanding and their learning interest in the hydrological cycle material. In addition, this medium also makes it easier for teachers to deliver material in a more engaging and interactive way. The implication of this research is the importance of developing innovative learning media that are tailored to the needs of students to improve the quality of Geography learning, especially in the hydrological cycle material, so that it can support the optimal achievement of learning competencies

Abstract

This study explores the design process of instructional media using Google Earth to support senior high school Geography learning on Hydrosphere Dynamics. The media was developed through a location-based approach that integrates satellite imagery, placemarks, interactive maps, and visual narration to present content in a contextual and exploratory way. The design process is aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum, structured around learning objectives, strategic location selection, and multimedia element integration. A storyboard was used to ensure continuity between visual and narrative components, allowing for a coherent and meaningful learning flow. The development demonstrates that geospatial-based learning media can foster relevant, engaging, and participatory educational experiences. This study is limited to the design phase; therefore, future research is needed to assess its effectiveness in enhancing student learning outcomes through classroom implementation.

Abstract

Problems related to learning outcomes are common challenges that are often experienced by many students throughout the educational process of students. Some of the main causes of this problem include low understanding of concepts, weak learning motivation, use of inappropriate learning strategies, ineffective time management, and pressure or stress. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Canva-based learning videos in improving the learning outcomes of class X-A students on the material of lithosphere dynamics at SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa Timur. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model combined with Canva-based interactive video media, two learning cycles were carried out to measure the development of student learning outcomes. The results of the data analysis showed that in cycle I, the average student achievement score was 73.07% which was included in the good category. After corrective actions were taken in cycle II, there was a significant increase with an average score reaching 83.23%, which was included in the very good or optimal category. These findings indicate that the use of Canva-based video media has been proven to be able to provide a positive contribution to improving students' understanding of concepts and learning outcomes in geography material, especially lithosphere dynamics.
