Jurnal Keperawatan Sehat Mandiri (JKSM) berdiri dimulai pada tahun 2023 dengan sistem publikasi jurnal dengan terbitan Open Journal Systems (OJS) dimana publikasi dilakukan secara online dimana penulis, pembaca dan mahasiswa bisa mengkases jurnal ini tanpa dibatasi ruang dan waktu. Jurnal Keperawatan Mandiri dimaksudkan sebagai media kajian ilmiah hasil penelitian, pemikiran dan kajian analisis-kritis mengenai penelitian keperawatan mencakup semua bidang keperawatan termasuk penelitian dasar keperawatan, keperawatan manajemen, keperawatan gawat darurat dan kritis, keperawatan medikal-bedah, keperawatan kesehatan jiwa, keperawatan maternitas, keperawatan anak, keperawatan gerontologi, keperawatan komunitas, keperawatan keluarga keperawatan pendidikan , pengobatan komplementer dan alternatif (CAM) dalam keperawatan. Abstract

Pain in laparoscopic procedures is brief but of high intensity. Overcoming pain requires management of pain management through pharmacological and non-pharmacological ways. relaxation technique that can reduce pain after surgery is the finger grip relaxation technique.This study aims to apply finger-held relaxation techniques to reduce the intensity of post-laparoscopic pain. The design of this research is a type of descriptive observational research in the form of a case report . Research time from 15 May to 3 June 2023 . The population of all obstructive ileus patients who were performed laparoscopically in the men's operating room at Dr.M Djamil Hospital, Padang. The sample is 2 people The results of the application showed that there was a decrease in pain intensity, namely before the finger-held relaxation technique was carried out, namely 7-6 and after the finger-hand-held relaxation technique was carried out, namely 5-3. The suggestion for this research is that the finger-held relaxation technique can be used as an intervention that nurses can do to reduce the intensity of post-laparoscopic pain.

Abstract

Stress causes irregular menstrual cycle which can cause excessive blood loss, anemia, and even fertility problems. When stressed, an increase in cortisol will inhibits the secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), which is influenced by the hormone estrogen. The formation of estrogen by fat tissue is obtained from measurements of body mass index (BMI). So during the proliferation and secretion period, the menstrual cycle will experience shortening or lengthening. This study aims to determine the relationship between stress and body mass index with the menstrual cycle in female students majoring in nursing at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Padang. This research was Analytical Descriptive with a Cross Sectional design. It conducted from December 2022 to July 2023. The population was 349 female students majoring in nursing level 1,2 and 3 with 80 samples. The instruments were the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) 42 questionnaire, body weight measurements and the menstrual cycle questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between stress (p value = 0.024) and body mass index (p value = 0.045) with the menstrual cycle. Female students are encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle, exercise diligently, not stay up late and consult further if there are indications of menstrual cycle disorders. Future researchers can add stress management interventions.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease and has a fairly high mortality rate and affects a person's quality of life and productivity. It is estimated that by 2025 there will be 1.5 billion people affected by hypertension, and it is estimated that every year 10.44 million people die from hypertension and its complications. The purpose of this study was to describe the behavior of hypertension sufferers in diet management at the Singkarak Health Center, Solok Regency, in 2023. The design in this research is descriptive. The population in this study were all hypertensive patients diagnosed with hypertension at the Singkarak Health Center, Solok Regency, aged 18 to 59 years. The sampling technique used the Simple Random Sampling technique with a total sample of 68 samples. Data was collected from May 2 to May 12 2023 by means of interviews and the tool used was a questionnaire. Data were processed manually and then analyzed univariately using descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that most (61.8%) of respondents included good knowledge, most (67.6%) of respondents put a positive position, and almost all (86.8%) of respondents included their actions in diet management. It is hoped that the Singkarak Health Center can increase counseling activities and provide information for hypertension sufferers who have not been exposed to health information.

Abstract

Background: Patient safety is a system used to improve patient care in a relatively safer manner, including risk assessment, patient risk identification and management, case reporting and analysis, the ability to learn from cases, as well as follow-up and implementation of solutions to reduce risk and prevent injury resulting from errors caused by implementation or negligence of action procedures that must be taken. Method: The method used in writing this nurse's scientific work is descriptive qualitative and case study. Results: With the results observed for 3 days, Mrs M is a patient with a high risk of falling. Where a score of more than 45 is a high fall risk category and a score of less than 45 is a mild to moderate fall risk category. Conclusion: The role of professional nurses is as care giver, client advocate, counselor, educator, collaborator, coordinator, change agent, consultant. Application in preventing the risk of falls is by carrying out an initial assessment and re-assessment and intervention - education.

Abstract

Penyakit TB paru pada anak merupakan salah satu penyakit infeksi kronis yang paling banyak terjadi di Indonesia, khususnya di daerah padat penduduk termasuk Depok. Anak sangat berisiko terkena penyakit TB paru apabila terdapat kontak pasien tuberkulosis paru menular, faktor imunitas yang rendah maupun faktor lingkungan yang buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara paparan asap rokok, riwayat kontak, dan status imunisasi BCG dengan kejadian TB paru pada anak di wilayah kerja UPTD PKM Pancoran Mas tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pasien anak yang berobat ke poli anak sebanyak 2.160 pasien dan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 108 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik non-parametric uji chi square. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistika menunjukkan bahwa signifikansi paparan asap rokok, riwayat kontak, status imunisasi BCG berturut-turut adalah 0,008; 0,002; dan 0,000 yang mana nilai tersebut <0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara paparan asap rokok, riwayat kontak, status imunisasi BCG dengan kejadian TB paru pada anak di UPTD PKM Pancoran Mas Kota Depok.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease which is the main factor causing various diseases such as stroke, heart and kidney. Based on data from the Andalas Health Center, it was found that there were 203 hypertension patients in April 2023. A survey conducted on hypertensive patients aged 40-60 years found 4 people with uncontrolled blood pressure (> 140/80 mmHg) and 2 people with controlled blood pressure (≤140/80 mmHg), 4 people who still consume fatty foods regularly excessive daily and 2 respondents who have reduced consumption of fatty foods, 4 people who consume excessive sodium and 2 people who have reduced sodium consumption, 4 people who diligently eat vegetables 4-5 times a week and 2 people who rarely eat vegetables in a week , 5 people who have no desire to exercise in a week and 1 respondent who has a desire to exercise every week. Furthermore, 3 hypertensive patients who are always reminded by their families in controlling hypertension and 3 people who are rarely reminded to control their hypertension, such as taking regular medication and managing their diet. The research objective was to determine the relationship between motivation and family support in controlling hypertension and blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Andalas sub-district, the Andalas Health Center in 2023. The research design was a cross-sectional study. The study was conducted from October 2022 to July 2023. The study population was all hypertension patients who were registered at the Andalas Health Center visit in the Andalas sub-district, consisting of 68 people. All populations are used as research subjects. Data collection was carried out by interviewing questionnaires and direct measurements. Univariate data analysis using descriptive statistics in the form of frequency and percentage distributions, bivariate analysis using the chi-square test.

Abstract

Cedera kepala merupakan penyakit yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan tingkat kesadaran pada seseorang. Berdasarkan hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar tahun 2018, perbandingan angka kejadian cedera kepala di Indonesia pada tahun 2013 mencapai 8,2% dari populasi dan pada tahun 2018 meningkat menjadi 9,2%. Pemberian stimulasi sensorik berupa stimulasi auditori sedini mungkin sangat penting untuk kelangsungan hidup, kualitas hidup dan prognosis jangka panjang pada pasien cedera kepala karena pendengaran merupakan fungsi indera yang paling akhir berfungsi pada penurunan kesadaran. Tujuan karya tulis akhir ini menerapkan terapi Murottal Al-Qur’an dalam asuhan keperawatan pada pasien cedera kepala dengan penurunan kesadaran di ruang rawat inap HCU Bedah RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Metode Karya Tulis Akhir ini menggunakan pendekatan laporan kasus (case report). Praktek profesi magang dilakukan dari bulan Mei-Juni 2023. Populasi adalah seluruh pasien Cedera Kepala yang dirawat di ruang HCU Bedah RSUP. Dr. M. Djamil Padang pada bulan Mei-Juni 2023 sebanyak 4 orang. Sampel yang diambil dengan Teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 2 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, pemeriksaan fisik, pengukuran GCS dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil evaluasi dari intervensi yang diberikan pada pasien menunjukkan adanya pengaruh terapi Murottall Al-Qur’an Dalam Asuhan Keperawatan Pada Pasien Cedera Kepala Dengan Penurunan Kesadaran Di Ruang Rawat Inap HCU Bedah Rsup Dr. M. Djamil Padang.

Abstract

Gastritis adalah peradangan pada mukosa lambung yang disertai kerusakan atau erosi pada mukosa, berdasarkan data angka kejadian gastritis di seluruh puskesmas di Kota Solok selama setahun adalah 538 penderita, Puskesmas dengan penderita yang paling tinggi adalah Puskesmas Tanjung Paku dengan jumlah penderita yaitu sebanyak 222 penderita. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana gambaran tingkat stres dan pola makan penderita gastritis di Puskesmas Tanjung Paku Kota Solok Tahun 2023. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat stres dan pola makan yang berperan dalam mempengaruhi kejadian gastritis di Puskesmas Tanjung Paku Kota Solok Tahun. Tempat penelitian di Puskesmas Tanjung Paku Kota Solok. Subjeknya yaitu pasien yang telah di diagnosa Gastritis sebanyak 40 orang. Waktu penelitian selama 14 hari dimulai tanggal 15-26 April 2024.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penderita gastritis memiliki tingkat stres ringan sebagian kecil (45,0%) dan pola makan yang kurang baik sebagian besar (57,5%). Penderita Gastritis biasanya dianjurkan untuk menerapkan diet lambung/gastritis. Tujuan diberikannya diet lambung diantarannya menetralkan kelebihan asam lambung dengan memberikan makanan yang adekuat dan tidak merangsang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat sebagai bahan informasi dan pengetahuan mengenai stres dan pola makan yang dapat menyebabkan gastritis, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk referensi dalam mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan acuan pengembangan penelitian dalam praktik keperawatan medikal bedah.

Abstract

Angka kenakalan remaja mengalami peningkatan 0,70% dapat dilihat dari tingginya kenakalan remaja seperti membolos, merokok, berkelahi, dll. Kenakalan remaja dipengaruhi beberapa factor yaitu keluarga, teman sebaya yang kurang baik, lingkungan tempat tinggal serta kecerdasan emosional yang rendah. Kecerdasan emosional mampu mengendalikan remaja dengan baik untuk membangun diri sendiri ,memahami diri sendiri dan hubungan interpersonal yang baik dengan orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan Oktober 2022-Juni 2023 di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Padang. Desain penelitian Cross Sectional. Populasi pada yaitu 481 orang dan sampel 83 orang menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan google form. Analisis data dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan remaja mengalami kecerdasan emosional rendah (53,0%) dan remja mengalami kenakalan remaja tinggi (54,2%) ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kenakalan remaja di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Padang dengan nilai (p-Value 0,012). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan melalui Kepala Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 padang pada guru Bimbingan konseling (BK) memberikan edukasi tentang cara mengatasi kenakalan remaja dengan meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dengan cara mendorong siswa berfikir positif dan melatih cara berhubungan baik dengan orang lain.

Abstract

Leukemia is the most common type of cancer in children. Long and repeated treatment periods cause children to experience hospitalization which has a psychological impact. One of the psychological impacts that children most often experience is anxiety. Anxiety needs to be anticipated, controlled and overcome so that the patient's quality of life remains optimal. One way is murottal therapy and therapeutic coloring play. Dr. Dr. Hospital's medical record data. M. Djamil Padang, recorded 169 cases of leukemia in 2022. The research aims to apply murottal therapy and therapeutic play (coloring) in the care of pediatric patients with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) with anxiety in the chronic room of IRNA Children's Hospital Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Descriptive research design with a case study approach in the pediatric IRNA chronic room from 15 May - 3 June 2023. The research population was all 8 pediatric patients with ALL. The sample was 2 participants with ALL who met the criteria. The results of the research on the second participant showed a difference in anxiety levels before and after murottal therapy and therapeutic play (coloring) from anxiety level 5 (very anxious) to 2 (happy). Advice to nurses in the children's room to carry out Murottal therapy and therapeutic play for leukemia children who experience anxiety due to hospitalization.
