Abstract

Digital-based public administration transformation is a key agenda for achieving effective, efficient, and transparent services at the regional level. However, the implementation of service digitalization at the Central Lombok Regency Trade Office still faces various obstacles, including public digital literacy, apparatus readiness, and uneven technological infrastructure. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of public service digitalization by considering the socio-cultural context, identifying the integration of local wisdom values into digital administration practices, assessing the level of public participation and trust, and formulating relevant transformation strategies to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, involving Trade Office officials, business actors, and service users. The results show that although digitalization improves efficiency and transparency, its implementation is not fully optimal due to digital literacy gaps, limited infrastructure, and public resistance to online services. Another important finding is the suboptimal integration of local wisdom values, which have significant potential to strengthen public participation and trust. This study concludes that public administration transformation in Central Lombok requires an approach that is not only technological but also contextual, integrating local wisdom into digital systems. This transformation model can be an innovative strategy to strengthen inclusive, responsive, and sustainable public services, while supporting the achievement of the SDGs at the local level.

Abstract

Social inequality represents one of the major challenges faced by modern states in the formulation and implementation of public policies. Inequality is not limited to income distribution but also encompasses unequal access to education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and political participation. In this context, John Rawls’s theory of justice offers an important normative framework through the concept of justice as fairness, which emphasizes equal basic liberties and justifies social and economic inequalities only if they benefit the least advantaged members of society. This article aims to critically examine the relevance of Rawls’s theory of justice and the challenges of its application in public policy amid growing social inequality. The study employs a qualitative normative-theoretical approach based on an extensive literature review of Rawls’s works and contemporary scholarly discussions on social justice and public policy. The findings indicate that Rawls’s theory remains highly relevant as an ethical foundation for evaluating public policies, particularly in terms of distributive justice and fair equality of opportunity. However, the implementation of Rawlsian principles faces significant challenges, including the dominance of neoliberal policy paradigms, limited state resources, and the complexity of structural and global inequalities. This article concludes that Rawls’s theory cannot be applied mechanically but must be interpreted contextually to address contemporary socio-political dynamics. Nevertheless, Rawls’s theory continues to serve as a crucial normative compass for developing more just and inclusive public policies.

Abstract

Social support contributes to attachment security over time. While studies have used different factors to predict attachment styles with varied results, there seem to be few studies using social support to predict attachment styles especially in the Nigerian settings. Therefore, this study examines the predictive role of social support on attachment styles among young adults. The study adopted cross-sectional survey using purposive sampling technique to select five communities in Port Harcourt metropolis in Rivers State, Nigeria. Data were collected from 277 using validated questionnaires and analyzed with simple linear regression to test one hypothesis that was accepted at p <.001 level of significance. The result demonstrated that social support significantly influenced attachment styles among young adults, F (1,276) = 21.34, p < .001. Moreover, the result indicated that social support independently predicted attachment styles among study participants (β = .421, t = 4.62, p < .001). The novelty of this study is that it the first time social support has been used to predict attachment styles among the study samples. The study recommends that young adults should actively build and maintain strong social support networks that would help them cope with challenges originating from poor attachment styles.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the strategic role of the Board of Peace (BoP) as a network-based governance model in accelerating infrastructure recovery in the Gaza conflict zone. Utilizing an explanatory case study method with a qualitative approach, this research gathers data through in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders and an analysis of global reports. The findings demonstrate that the "participatory synchronization" mechanism within the BoP successfully shifts rigid, centralized aid patterns into a more responsive and targeted system, confirming that active local engagement is a crucial factor for successful reconstruction in highly polarized environments. Theoretically, these results reinforce the arguments within Hybrid Peace Theory regarding the importance of institutional intermediation in conflict management. The researcher concludes that a paradigm shift toward hybrid models is essential for building sustainable peace. The study implies that policymakers need to establish flexible mandate transition protocols between international institutions and civil society. Furthermore, future research is expected to leverage digital technology integration to create more transparent and inclusive peace collaboration systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of customer service and the level of consumer trust in G2G cosmetic products. This study used quantitative methods, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 103 respondents who are users of G2G cosmetic products. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to determine respondents' perceptions of the variables of service satisfaction, consumer trust, service responsiveness, service reliability, and service empathy. The results showed that, in general, the quality of customer service for G2G cosmetic products was in the good category. The consumer trust variable received the highest rating, indicating that the majority of respondents believed in the safety of G2G cosmetic products. Furthermore, customer satisfaction, responsiveness, reliability, and service empathy were also rated positively, although some respondents still gave moderate to low ratings, indicating service inconsistencies. The conclusion of this study is that G2G customer service has been able to provide good service and build consumer trust. However, continuous improvement of service quality is still needed, particularly in the aspects of empathy and response consistency. Therefore, it is recommended that the company increase customer service training and performance evaluation to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. The implications of this research are expected to be a consideration for G2G management in formulating strategies to improve service quality and strengthen long-term relationships with consumers.

Thus the hypothesis that states that recruitment patterns partially have a significant effect on employee work effectiveness is proven; Partially, discipline has a significant effect on employee work effectiveness. The t-count value obtained is 25,454 while the t-table is obtained with a value of 1,994, this means that the t-count is greater than the t-table.
