Abstract

This study examines how accreditation affects perceived service quality in schools, specifically looking at the strategy at SMP Nurul Jadid. In today's era, accreditation is essential to build public trust in educational institutions. We used a qualitative case study method, collecting data from observations, in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, students, and parents, and reviewing official documents. The main results of this study indicate that "A" accreditation acts as a major driver that changes many things. First, accreditation increases school trust and reputation, serves as tangible evidence of quality, influences parents' decisions, and generates pride within the school. Second, accreditation becomes a strategic key to obtain more resources and establish new partnerships, which ultimately improve school facilities and programs. Third, accreditation encourages the development of a curriculum that is more appropriate and focused on student needs, triggering innovation in teaching. However, we also found that there were various opinions from teachers, protests from some members of the community, and varied student academic results. This means that for accreditation to be truly successful, schools need good change management strategies, effective communication, and special attention to the needs of all parties. Academically, this study provides new insights by linking accreditation with Signaling Theory, Legitimacy Theory, and Social Capital Theory to explain how accreditation works at the junior high school level, filling a gap in research that often focuses on higher education. The limitations of this study are that it only takes one school sample and does not delve too deeply into the differences between groups of people. Therefore, further studies that are broader and use a variety of methods would be very helpful in making more targeted education policies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyze the effectiveness of a Total Quality Management (TQM)-based web application in optimizing academic placement assessments in Islamic boarding schools. The background of this study is based on general problems related to the low efficiency and accuracy of the manual placement test process. The study was conducted at the Darul Lughoh Islamic Boarding School using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, which are analyzed using the Miles interactive model, as well as the approaches outlined by Huberman and Saldaña (2014). The results of the study indicate that the implementation of a TQM-based system can improve the efficiency of assessment implementation, the accuracy of student placement based on initial competencies, and strengthen teacher and student participation in the entire assessment process. In addition, this system reflects TQM principles such as customer focus, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making, which contribute to the creation of more measurable, transparent, and sustainable academic governance. These findings reinforce the urgency of developing a quality-based digital assessment system as a strategy to improve the quality of Islamic education. This study also recommends replication of similar models in other educational institutions as part of adaptive and technology-based academic management reform.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the phenomenon of resilience in parents diagnosed with Mental Health Disorders (GKM) in the context of adaptive childcare. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, this study explored the subjective experiences of two participants (married couples) who both lived with GKM and had children. The results of in-depth interviews showed that although the diagnosis of GKM brought significant emotional and relational challenges, participants demonstrated strong resilience. This resilience is manifested through the discovery of meaning in the role of parents as a reminder to keep struggling, as well as the utilization of adaptive parenting strategies such as flexible task sharing and external support from spouses, family psychologists, and the community. The findings indicate that GKM does not necessarily hinder adaptive parenting capacity, but rather encourages unique resilience mechanisms. This research contributes to the literature by presenting a strengths-based perspective, highlighting the adaptive capacity of parents with GKM, and providing practical implications for developing more targeted psychosocial support interventions.

Abstract

This study aims to conceptually examine Islamic parenting from the perspective of family counseling as a strategy for establishing a harmonious, loving, and blessed household. The study employed a literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach, drawing on various scientific sources related to Islamic parenting and family counseling grounded in Islamic values. The results of the study indicate that Islamic parenting is based on the principles of compassion (rahmah), exemplary behavior (uswah), justice ('adl), and spiritual responsibility. Meanwhile, family counseling in Islam serves as a preventive and therapeutic tool for addressing family issues, fostering emotional connections, and instilling spiritual values within the household. The integration of Islamic parenting and family counseling yields a holistic family development strategy, adaptable to the challenges of the times, yet rooted in Islamic teachings. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development of Islamic education and family counseling as well as practical recommendations for parents, educators, and religious institutions in building families that are sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah.

Abstract

The 2021 destruction of an Ahmadiyya place of worship in Balai Harapan Village, Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan, represents a vivid example of ongoing religious conflict in Indonesia. This conflict reflects not only interfaith tensions but also leaves deep psychosocial impacts, particularly on children living near the site. This study aims to describe the conflict narrative, analyze religious moderation practices as a resolution strategy, and identify the psychological impact on children as indirect victims of conflict. Using a qualitative approach with a narrative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document review. The findings reveal that local religious moderation practices successfully reduced tensions temporarily, but failed to address the structural roots of the conflict. Affected children exhibited mild to moderate trauma symptoms without receiving professional intervention. This study underscores the urgency of integrating religious moderation with child protection policies in the context of religious-based conflicts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of optimizing Islamic savings in Baitul Maal wat Tamwil Nuansa Umat (BMT NU) in improving the welfare of the Muslim community in the Genteng area. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research examines how the management and implementation of Sharia principles in savings products at BMT NU contribute to the economic well-being of the community. The focus of this study is to understand the extent to which the use of Islamic savings can positively impact access to financial services and local economic development. The results show that the optimization of Islamic savings based on the principles of profit-sharing, trustworthiness, and transparency encourages greater participation from the community in Sharia-based economic activities, potentially improving their welfare. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for BMT and other Islamic financial institutions in developing more effective programs to support the economic growth of the Muslim community.

Abstract

This research aims to see, explore, and relate Jamaluddin al-Afghani's political thought that developed in the 19th century to the 21st-century Islamic civilization. The main focus of this research is to see al-Afghani's contribution in facing the decline of Islamic civilization caused by internal and external sides. The internal side such as Muslim rulers who are not competent in their duties and the external side is the challenge of modernity such as Western misperceptions of Muslims, sectarianism, and dependence on the West. Using qualitative research methods, this research explores the meaning, concept, and understanding of history so that it can be understood scientifically with a descriptive-narrative presentation. The data source used is library research. The findings of this study reveal that al-Afghani's advocacy for the revival of Islamic civilization remains relevant to this day. Although there are differences in context between al-Afghani's lifetime and the present, the fundamental principles underlying his thinking remain relevant. Such as reconciling religious thought and rationality, the unity of Muslims or in al-Aghani's language referred to as Pan-Islamism, and the concept of a state based on religion. So based on this thinking, Muslims in the 21st century can map out a more contextual strategy by facing today's challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the basic concept of humanism education as education so that children consciously have religious characteristics with an Islamic perspective and have an implementation in the learning process. Then a library research approach is needed by collecting information from relevant reading materials, magazines, books, seminars, and others, after that it is carefully studied and researched, then the data is generalized and sorted based on the suitability of the research theme, then the data obtained from the results of further sorting analyzed in depth with analytical methods. Based on the results of the researcher's analysis that the concept of humanism education is an educational concept originating from the assumption that human beings have almost the same potential, which must be developed intensively and continuously so that religious humanist education has relevance to the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Humanism education invites students to find solutions to problems encountered with guidance and direction from educators. Implementing this concept emphasizes educators so that they can create a learning environment that is far from elements of coercion, oppression, the hegemony of thought, and attitudes that are far from the universal values of monotheism and humanity.

The formulation of the problem in this study is "What is the order method discussion can increase results Study student on eye "Islamic Religious Education lessons at SMP Setia Probolinggo?" There is also a goal of this research, namely to identify how the implementation of discussion procedures can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMP Setia Probolinggo. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR). This research is included in the type of meta-analysis research, namely research conducted by summarizing, reviewing and analyzing research data from several previous research results. The results of the study indicate that an increase in student grades in Islamic Religious Education learning using the discussion method in class VIII students of SMP Setia Probolinggo can be seen from the results of student scores in each cycle where in the first cycle the increase in learning completeness was 7 students or 30.4% increasing to 21 students or 91.2% experiencing an increase, while in the second cycle there was another increase of 23 students or 100%. This means that the application of the discussion method that has been used in Islamic Religious Education learning is declared successful in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The media has a very important role so that the position of the mass media becomes the main one in society. With the media, oral and written traditions in the learning process can be enriched with media such as audio-visual media, teachers can create various classroom situations, determine teaching methods that will be used in different situations and create a healthy emotional climate among students. In fact, this audio-visual media further helps teachers "bring" the world into the classroom. The learning method is an order or procedure that is arranged by educators regularly and systematically when delivering learning materials to students. The purpose of this study was to increase students' interest in learning PAI subjects at Miftahul Arifin Middle School by applying the audio visual method. In this study, the researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR). From the results of the research that the researchers conducted, they were able to grow students' interest in learning in PAI subjects, namely by applying the audio-visual method. Student learning outcomes in cycle one reach an average of 7 5%, from this average value in the category that is still not finished, but in cycle two, student achievement increases by an average of 90% for the full type.
