Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of instructional leadership, job performance, and compensation on the work motivation of public elementary school teachers in Temanggung District. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample consisted of 148 teachers selected using proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression after going through the classical assumption test. The results showed that instructional leadership has a positive and significant influence on teacher work motivation with a t value of 5.353 and an effective contribution of 16.4%. Job performance also has a positive effect on teacher work motivation with a t value of 8.076 and an effective contribution of 30.9%. Compensation is the most dominant factor in increasing teacher work motivation with a t-value of 14.711 and an effective contribution of 59.7%. Simultaneously, the three variables contributed 66.7% to teachers' work motivation, while 33.3% was influenced by other factors. This study confirms the importance of effective instructional leadership, high job performance, and fair compensation in improving teachers' work motivation. Therefore, recommendations are given to education policy makers to pay attention to these three factors to improve teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of school quality and school facilities on school selection decisions and their implications for student satisfaction at MAN 14 Jakarta. The background of this study departs from the increasing competition among educational institutions in attracting new students, which requires schools to improve the quality of services and learning support facilities. School quality and educational facilities are seen as important factors that influence students' perceptions, decisions and satisfaction with the institutions where they pursue education. This study uses an explanatory quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to explain the causal relationship between research variables. The population in this study were all MAN 14 Jakarta students, with the number of samples determined through proportional random sampling techniques to represent the overall characteristics of the population. Data collection was carried out using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale, which had been tested for validity and reliability. The variables analyzed include school quality (X₁), school facilities (X₂), school selection decisions (Y₁), and student satisfaction (Y₂). The results showed that school quality has a positive and significant influence on school selection decisions. School facilities are also proven to have a significant effect on students' decision to choose a school. Furthermore, school selection decisions have positive implications for the level of student satisfaction. This confirms that students who choose schools with good quality and facilities tend to have higher satisfaction in the learning process. Overall, this study concludes that improving the quality of educational services and providing adequate learning facilities are important strategies in increasing school attractiveness and creating sustainable learning satisfaction among students.

Abstract

Conflict is an inevitable part of social life that we all have to face from time to time, which can be a positive force for improvement in an educational institution. Conflict is an unavoidable phenomenon in the school environment, both among teachers, students, and other education personnel. Conflict that is not managed properly can have a negative impact on educational performance. This study aims to identify Conflict Management Strategies to Improve School Performance in Education. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were obtained from the library collection using a descriptive approach. The library collection is extensive and diverse, containing books, articles and other materials on the topic of conflict management. Conflict management in educational institutions can help improve productivity, which shows that the application of strategies such as collaboration, compromise, and accommodation can create a conducive work environment, improve communication between individuals, and motivate the participation of all parties in achieving educational goals. The recommendation of this study is the importance of conflict management training for principals and teachers as an effort to improve the overall quality of school management. With proper conflict management, schools can create a harmonious and productive atmosphere, which ultimately supports the improvement of school performance in education.

This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with interviews, observation and documentation of evidence in school institutions. The subjects in this research are principals, vice principals and teachers of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique uses the data triangulation method, namely by narrating the strongest evidence of reality that appears at the research location. The triangulation method used includes: triangulation of data with sources and triangulation of data with methods. This study shows that transformational leadership has an influence on improving teacher performance so that teachers can perform performance that exceeds expectations. This study suggests that principals provide a habituation approach to maintain the stability of teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimization of data-driven management strategies in improving teaching quality in primary schools. In an educational context that is increasingly dependent on technology, the use of data to support educational decisions is crucial. This research adopts a qualitative approach using data triangulation techniques to ensure the validity of the findings. Data were obtained from in-depth interviews with principals, teachers and administrative staff in several primary schools, as well as direct observation of the data-driven learning process. The main objective of this study is to understand how data-driven management strategies can be implemented in primary schools and analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness of its use in improving teaching quality. The results show that although the implementation of data-driven management has positive impacts, such as improved lesson planning and better communication with parents, the main challenge lies in the limited technological infrastructure and the lack of training for teachers in data management. The research also confirms that the successful use of data is highly dependent on the quality of training provided to teachers and the provision of adequate infrastructure. Overall, this study suggests the need for strengthening technical capacity and policies that support data management in primary schools to achieve optimization of the use of data-based management in improving teaching quality.

This research was conducted in private junior high schools in Central Bogor Sub-district, Bogor City. This research is a correlational research using quantitative approach. The population in this study were all permanent teachers of private junior high school foundations in Bogor City totaling 165 from 15 private junior high schools and the research sample was 117 people taken with proportional random sampling technique. The results of the study at a significant level of 5% showed that: (1) transformational leadership has a positive effect on teacher innovation with a correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.53 and transformational leadership contributes 27.8% to teacher innovation (2) achievement motivation has a positive effect on teacher innovation with a correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.24 and achievement motivation contributes 5.9% to teacher innovation (3) transformational leadership and achievement motivation together with teacher innovation shown by the correlation coefficient ry12 = 0.54 and transformational leadership and achievement motivation together contribute 29.1% to teacher innovation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the higher the level of transformational leadership and achievement motivation, the higher the teacher's innovation.
