Abstract

This research is School Action Research which aims to determine the improvement of teachers' attendance discipline in teaching through the reward and punishment system at SMP Negeri 1 Satu Atap Sungai Mandau. The subjects of this study were 7 teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Satu Atap Sungai Mandau. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The results showed that the reward and punishment system can improve teachers' attendance in teaching. The implementation of pre-cycle learning at the first meeting showed that all teachers were present on time because it was the first day of school for the 2020/2021 school year.The implementation of learning in the first cycle showed that 5 teachers were late to teach in the class, and after the implementation of learning in the second cycle the teacher's discipline in teaching reached 85% based on the responses of respondents (teachers) regarding the application of the reward and punishment system, while based on observations 74% of teachers were still less than 5 minutes late because the location was difficult to reach.

Abstract

Racial discrimination or racism is a belief system that has become an ingrained doctrine stating that biological differences are related to the human race. A certain race considers itself superior and has the right to control others so that humans always consider a group, group, religion, or race to be the most correct and powerful. Then they underestimate others. This study aims to analyze racial discrimination by supporters against players in soccer. The writing method used is literature study. The analysis carried out is based on data or content from references and is supplemented with an analysis of the phenomenon of racism that occurs in soccer. The method used is literature study. Based on the results of the study and data processing, it can be concluded that racial discrimination or racism can happen to anyone and be carried out by anyone. Racism by supporters against players, racism by players against other players. Racism by supporters against the crew of the soccer team. The perpetrators are not only supporters, but can also come from prominent people. The racism that occurs is more directed at a race or physical form that can be seen directly with the eye. Racism occurs due to many factors, depending on the perpetrators and recipients of racial discrimination.

Abstract

Educational supervision is coaching in the form of guidance or any assistance from school leaders, which is aimed at the development of teacher leadership and other school personnel in achieving educational goals. This supervision is in the form of encouragement, guidance, and opportunities for the growth of teacher skills, such as guidance in efforts and implementation of reforms in education and teaching, choosing better teaching tools and methods, systematic assessment methods for the stages of the entire teaching process, and so on. This study aims to describe the role of the principal as a coordinator in improving teacher professionalism and describe the factors that influence educational supervision at MTsN 1 Bengkalis. This study. This study has limitations on the problem of supervision carried out by the principal, this study uses a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive, the techniques used in collecting data are interview techniques, observation and documentation, the results of the study indicate the role of the principal's supervision a). the role of the principal's supervision as a coordinator: proper placement of teacher duties on the roster, direction using a loudspeaker every day, holding discussions together between teachers from various fields, b) supporting and inhibiting factors faced in supervision activities by the principal indicate that: 1) the supporting data is sufficient information, adequate teacher facilities and teachers who are easy to manage, 2) there are still teachers who feel afraid and even avoid when carrying out supervision activities, age factors that make teachers' understanding still slow, and managing time is still difficult.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture and work motivation together on the performance of elementary school teachers in Kalidoni Subdistrict, Palembang City. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study was all educators in elementary schools in Kalidoni Subdistrict, Palembang City, with a total of 390 teachers. Based on the calculations that have been carried out, the sample size in this study was 79.6 or rounded to 80 people, around 41% of the total number of teachers in elementary schools in Kalidoni District, Palembang City. Data collection techniques use observation methods, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use Coefficient of Determination Analysis, T Test (Partial), F Test (Simultaneous). The results of this study are (1) there is a positive and significant influence of organizational culture on teacher performance of 0.874. (2) there was a positive and significant influence of work motivation on teacher performance of 0.819. (3) there was a positive and significant influence of organizational culture and work motivation simultaneously on teacher performance by 0.908

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of library management in increasing students' reading interest at MTs. Dasrussal Anrong Appakah. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Research location at MTs. Darussalam Anrong Appaka, The data sources in this research are primary data through the head of the madrassa tsanawiyah, head of library, teachers, students, and secondary data, namely data in studies or madrasa documents. The techniques used in collecting data are observation, interview and documentation techniques. Research results: The implementation of MTs Darussalam Anrong Appaka library management, apart from being seen from the planning aspect, can also be seen from the organizing, mobilizing and supervising aspects. From a planning aspect, the MTs library. Darussalam has planned activities in organizing the library including visit schedules, budgets, book procurement, human resources. From the organizational aspect, the MTs library. Darussalam has created an organizational structure, so that it can facilitate the library's performance according to its work, for example staffing, service and book classification, from the movement aspect, movement in the MTs library management aspect. Darussalam Anrong Appaka includes services and provision of advice and infrastructure. From the aspect of supervision, supervision in library management at MTs. Darussalam Anrong Appaka is intended to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of library management, in addition to obtaining quality improvements.

Abstract

Riyan Maulana 1*, Emil Biyansyahna 2, Siti Afriani (3) 1 Alwashliyah University Banda Aceh 2 Syiah Kuala University 3 STIK Pante Kulu Banda Aceh *Corresponding author: riyanmaulana@unadabna.ac.id Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the education sector to shift to online learning due to social distancing, utilizing information and communication technology for teaching and learning. However, this transition presents risks such as inequality of technology access, decreased student engagement, and psychosocial impacts. This study aims to identify the risks of online learning through systematic literature review (SLR) to support effective risk management and inform education policy in the digital era. The research used the SLR method, with searches on scientific databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. Inclusion criteria included English and Indonesian journals (2017-2022), using the keywords "online learning risk" and "online education risk management". The selection process followed the PRISMA protocol, resulting in 34 relevant journals after rigorous screening. The analysis showed that one journal addressed online education policy, highlighting the risks of regulatory unpreparedness and internet access in remote areas. Sixteen journals focused on higher education, identifying risks such as low student motivation, digital plagiarism and lack of lecturer technology training. Seventeen journals addressed primary and secondary schools, emphasizing the risks of unequal access to devices, mental health disorders, and decreased social interaction. Key risks include technical, pedagogical and psychosocial aspects. Integrated risk management, such as improved digital infrastructure, technology training and mental health support, is needed for mitigation. This research recommends further empirical studies in the Indonesian context to support sustainable online learning. The findings enrich the educational literature with a comprehensive risk management framework.

Abstract

The application of information technology in education is an effort to integrate technological devices to improve the quality of learning and the efficiency of education management. Information technology, through hardware, software, internet networks, and digital applications, provides a great opportunity to create education that is more effective, inclusive, and relevant to the needs of the digital era. This article discusses the meaning of information technology implementation, its benefits in improving the quality of learning in schools and the factors that influence the success or failure of its implementation. The main benefits of technology in education include increased accessibility of learning resources, efficiency of educational data management, personalization of learning, development of critical thinking skills, and flexibility in distance learning. However, the successful implementation of technology is influenced by factors such as infrastructure, teacher competence, school policy support, student readiness, parent participation, cost, learning content, school culture and maintenance of technology devices. The results of the discussion emphasize that the implementation of information technology requires collaboration from various parties, ranging from the government, schools, to the community, to ensure its sustainability and success. Thus, the optimal use of technology can support a more effective and competitive transformation of education in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine how effective the professional education program is for elementary school teachers Improving the pedagogical, professional, social, and personal abilities of teachers is the goal of this professional education program We collected data from a number of elementary school teachers who participated in the program for this research through a survey method, which is a quantitative approach This study involved one hundred elementary school teachers from various regions in Indonesia, The research used a questionnaire based on teacher competency standards and the goals of the professional education program The questionnaire consisted of several sections measuring teachers' perceptions of program effectiveness, the competency improvements they felt, and the program's impact on their teaching practices Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis was conducted to identify patterns and correlations in the collected data.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the world of education requires teachers to continue to develop their professional competencies in order to meet the needs of 21st century learning. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of teacher professional development policies in the digital era, with a focus on the implementation of technology-based training and its impact on improving teacher competencies. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various sources of literature related to teacher professional development strategies in the digital era. The results of the study indicate that effective strategies include technology training, collaboration with colleagues, and participation in professional discussions. Thus, teachers can improve their competencies and prepare students to face increasingly complex digital challenges. In addition, support from schools, government, and related institutions is very important in implementing this strategy. This study is expected to provide guidance for education policy makers and related parties to improve teacher professionalism in the digital era in order to achieve better educational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the execution of financial management functions at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar Narumonda, encompassing planning, execution, record-keeping, and oversight of school finances. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, data collection is conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal a strong dedication by SMA Negeri 1 Siantar Narumonda towards adopting sound and transparent financial management practices. Financial planning involves various stakeholders in formulating the School Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan (RAPBS) and the School Activity and Budget Plan (RKAS). The distribution of funds is directed by the RKAS to support the school's operational endeavors. Detailed and systematic financial record-keeping is managed by the school treasurer through ledger books. Periodic financial reports are generated to ensure transparency and answerability. Financial oversight is executed progressively, involving the principal, treasurer, school committee, and the Education Office. External financial audits are conducted regularly to assess the fairness of financial reports and adherence to regulations. This study offers a comprehensive overview of the execution of financial management functions at SMA Negeri 1 Siantar Narumonda and highlights challenges and prospects for enhancing financial management practices in the future.
