Abstract

Bulu Lor Village is one of the villages in Jambon Sub-District, in this village there are recent converts of Buddhism to Islam. The proliferation of Buddhism in this region because of its neat preaching management and supported by sufficient funding, and caused by economic and religious understanding weakness of Muslims in that area. There are 510 of 4000 farmers or farm laborers in Bulu Lor Village who rely on their economy from harvest. There are 25 converts to Islam in Bulu Lor Village, Jambon Subdistrict, Ponorogo Regency and included as marginal or disadvantaged groups in terms of economic welfare. This type of research was Participatory Action Research conducted by providing assistance in the form of training in processing banana humps to become high-value economic products as an alternative effort to increase household income, hopefully pre-prosperous converts become prosperous and faithful to Islam.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology, people work together to create convenience in conducting transactions or muamalah, one of them is in term of buying and selling. Today, people can buy goods without coming directly to the seller. This certainly facilitates people for tricking. For these reasons, this research was conducted to understand the difference between Islamic and conventional practice on buying and selling engagements. This descriptive qualitative study employed literature study which obtained the result that even though the rules of all goods may be sold, but in Islam, it must not be contradicted with the quran, hadith, and benefit principle. Whereas, in conventional engagement, all goods can be absolutely sold, as long as there is willingness from both parties.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop a sakinah family-building instrument through the development of a Buku Bekal Pengantin, which was specifically arranged to overcome the divorcement. The strategy used is by formulating the causes of divorcement occurred then developing an understanding and steps to avoid divorce by involving Judges, Registrars, and parties who are undergoing divorce proceedings in the Yogyakarta City Religious Court. Data collection methods used were interviews and filling in the assessment questionnaire of the books developed. Data analysis of interview data was done by editing, coding, and descriptive analysis, while data from questionnaires were analyzed by average analysis then converted into qualitative assessment results. The results of the feasibility test show that the acceptable of Buku Bekal Pengantin to raise a sakinah family and avoiding divorcement is one that has: First, the book must has a three-part of content structure, namely: Hikayat Suami dan Isteri Mengabadikan Cinta, Alasan Perceraian, Argumetasi Lebih Baik Bertahan, Mengatasi Masalah Keluarga Sejak Dini, Hukum Perceraian, Awal Kesuksesan Hubungan Suami dan Isteri. Second, the content presented is designed to have a soul-boosting element to maintain the marriage relationship by return to Allah. Third, the language writing style must understandabel, and readable.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students' learning outcomes of Social Studies by using Direct Instruction Learning Model. The Classroom Action Research was performed by engaging students of V A Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarsari. Data collection technique were carried out using test and non-test techniques. The study revealed that the students' score increased from 78.17 up to 85.43. Furthermore, the use of Direct Instruction Learning Model simplified teachers for handling the learning process.

Abstract

The need for high-quality crumb rubber in West Sumatra tends to increase. However, the amount and quality of rubber from suppliers belong to weak caused by the bad monitoring systems, the supply cannot be met properly, and there is a lot of shrinkage in rubbers purchased by the company. Therefore this research was carried by implementing the Decision Support System (DSS) which was expected to help facilitate supplier data searches and evaluate the supplier's performance. The first stage in this research was designing DSS included the use of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram and database design. Next, built an applicable software using Personal Home Page (PHP), My Structured Query Language (MySQL), and Apache. An advantage of DSS designed was to accommodate differences and changes in rubber supplier assessment criteria according to the consideration of each crumb rubber industry in West Sumatra. There were 3 of 11 main crumb rubber criteria assessed. The results of these 3 criteria were obtained highest weight, namely Dryness (0.18), cleanliness (0.15), and consistency of quality (0.10). While the previous performance obtained the lowest weight (0.05). This meant that the criteria of dryness, cleanliness, and consistency of quality, will be the main considerations for companies in ranking and evaluating suppliers who work with companies.

Abstract

Politics has exertion to set accepted rules for the citizens to apply a harmonious life. This field study investigated the characteristics of sociopolitical of immigrants societies in Metro City which tend to groups based on their emotional feelings. It occurs because of their similarity. However, their synthesis and interaction in the social environment surprisingly go well. Sadly, their unity awareness can not compete and take over the parliamentary chair. The pluralism ethnic in Metro City is high, the core political power is dominated by indigenous societies. The presence of immigrant and indigenous societies in politic showed an effort to compete and promote Metro City in various aspects of life.

Abstract

In 2018, Palembang became one of the hosts of the biggest sports event in Asia, that’s the Asian Games. As a civil society, the youth community organization is a driving force for the functioning of the social system. This paper explores the role of Pemuda Pancasila as youth community organizations in the success of Asian Games 2018. This study employed descriptive qualitative methods to explore the research objectives. The results showed that Pemuda Pancasila Pelembang conducted peaceful actions to anticipate events which could impact the success of Asian Games 2018, and appealed to the public to contribute to the success of this event through mass and electronic media, furthermore to help maintain security during the Asian Games 2018 event.

Abstract

The socialization of a procedure for collecting zakah is very important given to the Zakah Agency to carry out its management effectively and efficiently. This study examines the performance of Zakah, Infaq, Shodaqoh Agency of Nahdlatul Ulama (LAZIS NU) of Yogyakarta, where the zakah availability reaches 4.3 billion Rupiah per year, however, in reality, the LAZIS NU of Yogyakarta is only able to compile zakah as much 135 million Rupiah per year. This study tries to analyze how does the management and socialization of LAZIZ NU of Yogyakarta in running out its duty. The type of this research is a descriptive qualitative study by using an interactive analysis model by means of the inductive method. Based on the research results the implementation of the LAZIS NU's socialization Yogyakarta did not quite maximal, this was caused by the lack of socialization, the lack of human resources in conducting the socialization. That condition brought the funds raised were still far from the expectation. By this reason, the concrete action needs to be implemented related to fix those problems. The managerial must continuously improve programmed evaluations so that all activities can be controlled and easily evaluated.

Abstract

Good teaching and learning activities must contain three main points, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. A teacher is required to plan, implement and evaluate the learning process. The learning planning includes preparing learning tools such as syllabus. The syllabus is a minimal device must be prepared by the teacher before implementing the learning process - including preparing a syllabus for extra-curricular activities for students at school. In fact, there are low levels of teachers' guidance in extra-curricular activity to their students. This research was conducted to reveal how far is headmasters' roles in improving the teachers' competency in preparing and implementing extracurricular activities for students.

Abstract

This developmental research was conducted to compose the learning material specifically for Islamic Economics students of Economics and Islamic Business Faculty. Basically, there are differences between Conventional Economics and Islamic Economics. Their striking differences lie in several terms used for mentioning practices in their implementations. The method used adopted from the steps of product development developed by Sugiono[1]. Before composing the development design, researchers conducted 2 aspects of analysis, namely target needs and learning needs which were developed into questionnaires to investigate listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. The data analysis resulted that there were no significant differences needed among six linguistic components above. However, it needed accentuation directly on all four linguistic skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Besides, the learning technique used during the English learning process is Cooperative Learning. [1] Sugiyono, Metode Penelitian Pendidikan (Bandung: Alfabeta, 2015), h. 409.
