Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) tanggapan guru terhadap prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013; (2) kemampuan guru dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran (RPP); (3) kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan proses belajar dan mengajar; dan (4) kemampuan guru dalam menilai hasil belajar menurut Kurikulum 2013 pada Program Keahlian Teknik Bangunan SMKN di Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMKN Program Keahlian Teknik Bangunan di Kota Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 70 orang. Sampel penelitian diperoleh secara quota random sampling dan diperoleh sejumlah 36 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket dan dokumen RPP. Validitas logis angket diperoleh melalui penilaian ahli. Data angket dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif selanjutnya dicek silang dengan analisis kualitas deskripsi komponen-komponen RPP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) tanggapan guru terhadap prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 termasuk dalam kategori setuju; (2) kemampuan guru menyusun RPP termasuk dalam kategori memadai; (3) kemampuan guru melaksanakan proses belajar-mengajar termasuk dalam kategori memadai; dan (4) kemampuan guru melaksanakan penilaian hasil belajar siswa juga termasuk dalam kategori memadai.Kata kunci: Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, kurikulum 2013, dan pembelajaran. TEACHERS' ABILTY OF  BUILDING TECHNIQUE SPEZIALIZATION PROGRAM OF STATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN IMPLEMENTING CURRICULUM 2013AbstractThe aim of this study were to know: (1) teachers' respons to curriculum 2013 principles; (2) teachers' ability in developing teaching plan (RPP); (3) teachers' ability in implementing teaching and learning process; and (4) teachers' ability in assessing students' learning outcome based on curriculum 2013 of Building Tecnique Spezialization Program State Vocational High School in Yogyakarta City.  This study was an evaluation study. Population of this study was State Vocational High School Teachers of Building Technique Spezialization Program in Yogyakarta City that were 70 teachers. While, sample was determine by quota random sampling and resulted 36 teachers. Collecting data technique were questionnaire and documention of lesson plan. Logical Validity of questionnaire was done by expert judgment. Questionnaire data analyzed using statistical and qualitative descriptive techniques, then those results were cross-checked by quality analysis of RPP components' description. The study results were: (1) teachers' respons to curriculum 2013 learning principles was moderate; (2) teachers' ability in developing teaching plan was adequate; (3) teachers' ability in implementing teaching plan was adequate; and (4) teachers' ability in assessing students' learning outcome was also adequate.Keywords: Vocational High School, curriculum 2013, and learning

Abstract

The purposes of this research were (1) to design and implement the development of mobile-based e-modules, (2) to know the students' and lecturers’ responses toward the development of the mobile-based e-modules, and (3) to know the students’ learning outcomes after using the mobile-based e-modules. The research employed a Research and Development with the 4D development model. The participants of this study were 54 students and three lecturers of construction engineering education. The data on the students' and lecturers’ responses to the development of mobile-based e-modules were obtained using the questionnaire method. The results of the study show that the design and implementation of the developed mobile-based e-modules were successful based on several tests conducted. The successfully developed e-modules can be seen from the students’ responses, in which 64% are included in the Very Practical category, and only 36% are in the Practical category. On the other hand, the results of the lecturers’ responses show a Very Practical category by the percentage of 100%. As a consequence, the students’ learning outcomes are declared complete at 100% and increase with a gain score of 0.44 (moderate) from 54 students in the project management course.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk multimedia pembelajaran standar kompetensi Memperbarui Halaman Web yang layak dan sesuai kebutuhan siswa, (2) mengetahui efektivitas multimedia pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, desain dan pengembangan. Setelah produk awal selesai, dilakukan evaluasi formatif (validasi kelayakan produk oleh ahli materi dan ahli media), Beta Test I dan Beta Test II. Pada tahap akhir dilakukan evaluasi sumatif. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kelayakan produk pada komponen lingkup pembelajaran diperoleh skor sebesar 4,51, pertimbangan afektif diperoleh skor sebesar 4,73, informasi pelengkap sebesar 4,66, antarmuka sebesar 4,46, navigasi sebesar 4.68, pedagogi sebesar 4.64, dan ketahanan produk sebesar 4.47. (2) hasil belajar siswa pada saat pretest diperoleh rerata sebesar 6,34 sedangkan hasil belajar siswa pada posttest diperoleh rerata sebesar 8,47. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut diperoleh N-Gain sebesar 0,71 (tergolong klasifikasi tinggi). Berdasarkan N-Gain yang tinggi maka produk Multimedia Pembelajaran efektif untuk meningkatkan skor test hasil belajar. DEVELOPING LEARNING MULTIMEDIA STANDAR COMPETENCY UPDATING WEB PAGE IN SMKAbstractThis research aims to (1) obtain feasible learning materials which meet satisfy the learning need of the ten-year students majoring multimedia and (2) find out the effectiveness of their learning process in the standar competency Updating Web Pages as reflected by their achievement test score increase. Comprising three main stages: planning, designing, and developing, it includes formatif evaluation as the initial result emerges. Alpha Test is carried out to validate its media content feasibility, Beta Test I and Beta Test II. By the end of stages summative evaluation. Data are processed in descriptive analysis. Research results in (1) the very high level of feasibilty in content coverage component (scored 4,51), affective consideation (4,73), information Adequace (4,66), interface (4,46), navigation (4,68), pedagogical (4,64), and robustness (4,47); (2) the high level of students' achievements progress students average score is 6,34 in pretest as compared to 8,47 in posttest, which mean 0,71 N-Gain. The high level of N-Gain leads to a conclusion that the multimedia learning material for the standar competency Updating Web Pages is effective to increase achievement score.

Abstract

The study was to: (1) find the most effective agrobusiness technical training and education model for the Field Agricultural Extension Officers to be implemented; and (2) to identify the knowledge level, the highest agrobusiness skills and the strongest self-confidence that might be achieved by the participants through the implemented training and education patterns. The study was conducted by means of experiment method with the regular pattern of training and education program as the control and the mentoring pattern of training and education program as the treatment. The three patterns of training and education programs served as the independent variables while the knowledge, the skills and the self-confidence served as the dependent variables. The study was conducted in three locations namely: the Institution of Agricultural Human Resources Development in the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region (Balai Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Pertanian Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta – BPSMP DIY); the Institution of Agricultural Human Resources Empowerment (Balai Pemberdayaan Sumber Daya Manusia Pertanian – BPSDMTAN Soropadan Temanggung Provinsi Jawa Tengah) in Soropadan, Temanggung, the Province of Central Java; and the Institution of Training and Education in Semarang, the Province of Central Java (Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Semarang Provinsi Jawa Tengah). The study was conducted to all of the participants who attended the agrobusiness technical training and education program and, therefore, all of the participants became the subjects of the study. The study was conducted from October 2013 until March 2014. The results of the study showed that: (1) there had not been any significant difference on the knowledge and the skills of the participants who attended the regular pattern in training and education programs and those who attended the mentoring pattern in training and education programs; (2) the regular pattern in training and education programs and the mentoring pattern in training and education programs had significant difference on the field agricultural extension officers' self-confidence (t count = - 2.28; p = 0.03) and (t count = - 2.41; p = 0.02); and (3) the mentoring pattern in training and education programs showed very significant difference on the agrobusiness skills (t count = - 4.94; p = 0.00). The mentoring pattern in training and education programs showed significant changes in improving the field agricultural extension officers' skills and confidence for about 9.43% and 7.75% respectively in implementing the agrobusiness activities compared to the other patterns of training and education programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the effect of critical thinking skills on students’ learning competency in accounting subjects at vocational high school in Surakarta. The indicators of critical thinking ability used in this study referred to the theory developed by Ennis, while the accounting competency indicators used referred to Bloom's taxonomy. This research was experimental quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of grade X accounting at SMK 1 Surakarta totaling 96 students. The sample of this study was class X AC (Accounting) 2 as the experimental class and X AC 3 as the control class. The sampling technique used in this study was Cluster Random sampling. The data analysis technique used in the study was Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), with pre-requisite tests that had to be done before, namely normality and homogeneity tests. This study concluded that there are differences in the influence of critical thinking skills on students’ competency in accounting learning.

Abstract

Visualizing something abstract into a concrete object can help students improve their mastery of concepts in learning. The purpose of this study is to visualize the stages of the educational research methodology into an animation infographic media. The method used refers to the instructional development model. The target subjects of this study were students of informatics engineering education study program who had taken courses in educational research methodology. In order to get valid, practical, and effective media, several tests were carried out, such as formative evaluation and effectiveness testing with Hake formula. The results show that the dynamic infographic media produced has gone through expert judgment as follows. (1) Testing by content experts score 1 (very high), testing by the learning design experts scored 0.92 (very high), and testing by learning media experts scored 0.90 (very high). (2) The result obtained from the practicality testing is 86.5%, or it is included in the practical category. (3) The testing of the effectiveness of using the Hake formula obtained N-gain results of 0.8, which belongs to the effective category. It shows that animation infographic media produced is valid, practical, and effective to be used in improving the concept mastery of the stages of educational research methodology in informatics engineering education study program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the industrial assessment of technical and employability skills of students. The research was conducted by using survey method in several industries as the place of the Job Training (PKL) of the students. The research technique used purposive random sampling with respondents in this research consist of 23 industry in Jakarta area. The results of the research are (1) the industrial assessment of the technical skills of the students obtained a score of 73.10 with high interpretation; (2) The industry average rating of employability of students skills is 83.10 with very high interpretation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan peranan orang tua, lingkungan, dan pembelajaran kewirausahaan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa prodi Pend. Ekonomi, FKIP, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin Kalimantan Selatan. Populasi penelitian adalah 162 orang mahasiswa Prodi Pend. Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat Banjarmasin Kalimantan Selatan. Sampel sejumlah 110 mahasiswa ditentukan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Sedangkan teknik yang digunakan adalah penelitian ex-post facto. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, untuk mengukur variabel pandangan orang tua, lingkungan, dan pembelajaran kewirausahaan. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) peranan orang tua tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh besarnya nilai p (sig) yaitu 0,339, di mana nilai p > 0,05; maka hipotesis pertama yang diajukan ditolak; 2) lingkungan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh besarnya nilai p (sig) yaitu 0,000 , di mana nilai p < 0,05; maka hipotesis kedua yang diajukan diterima; 3) pembelajaran kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh besarnya nilai p (sig) yaitu 0,000 , di mana nilai p < 0,05; maka hipotesis ketiga yang diajukan diterima; 4) pandangan orang tua, lingkungan, dan pembelajaran kewirausahaan secara bersama-sama memiliki peran positif terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha mahasiswa yang ditunjukkan oleh besarnya nilai p (sig) yaitu 0,000 , di mana nilai p < 0,05; maka hipotesis keempat yang diajukan diterima. ROLES OF THE PARENTS, ENVIRONMENTS, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP LEARNING ON THE ENTREPRENEURIAL READINESSAbstractThis study aims to investigate the roles of the parents, environments, and entrepreneurship learning, on the entrepreneurial readiness of the students of the Study Program of Economics Education, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, the Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The population comprised the students of the Study Program of Economics Education, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences, the Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan totalling 162 student. The student sample is 110 people was selected by means of the proportional random sampling technique. The study employed the quantitative approach and the technique was ex post facto. The research instruments included questionnaires to measure the variables of the parents' perceptions, environments, and entrepreneurship learning. The results of the study are as follows. 1) The parents' roles do not have a positive effect on the students' entrepreneurial readiness, indicated by the value of p (sig), namely 0.339, and p > 0.05; therefore the first hypothesis is rejected. 2) The environments have a positive effect on the students' entrepreneurial readiness, indicated by the value of p (sig), namely 0.000, and p < 0.05; therefore the second hypothesis is accepted. 3) The entrepreneurship learning has a positive effect on the students' entrepreneurial readiness, indicated by the value of p (sig), namely 0.000, and p < 0.05; therefore the third hypothesis is accepted. 4) The parents' perceptions, environments, and entrepreneurship learning as an aggregate have a positive effect on the students' entrepreneurial readiness, indicated by the value of p (sig), namely 0.000, and p < 0.05; therefore the fourth hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak dalam kegiatan PPL di SMK, SMA, SMP se Kota Pontianak; (2) pengaruh praktik persekolahan terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (3) pengaruh rencana pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (4) pengaruh pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai calon guru; (5) pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara praktik persekolahan, rencana pembelajaran, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, termasuk kategori cukup dan kompetensi profesional termasuk kategori baik;(2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara praktek persekolahan terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,515; p= 0,000; (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara rencana pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 =0,272; p=0,000; (4) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pelaksanaan pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,515; p= 0,000; dan (5)terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara praktik persekolahan, rencana pembelajaran, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara bersama-sama terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,931. Prediksi perubahan Y ditunjukan oleh persamaan garis regresiY = 9,463 + 0,759X1 + 0,819X2 +0,763X3. FIELD EXPERIENCE PRACTICE AND ITS IMPACT ON STUDENT'S COMPETENCIES PROGRAM INFORMATION AND COMPUTER ENGINEERINGAbstractThis research aims to determine: (1) the achievement of student's competence in activities of STKIP PGRI Pontianak Practice Experience (PPL) in vocational, high school, junior high school Pontianak City; (2) the correlation betwen schooling practice and student's competency at STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; (3) correlation betwen the competence of the student and lesson plans STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; (4) correlation betwen student's competence and learning implementation STKIP PGRI Pontianak as prospective teachers; and (5) jointly correlation between schooling practices, lesson plans, and implementation of student's learning and student's competency. These results indicate that (1) pedagogic competence, personality, social, and professional categories each including moderate, moderate, moderate, and good respectively, (2) there is a positive and significant correlation between schooling practices and student's competence with values R2 = 0.515; p = 0.000; (3) there is a positive and significant correlation between competence lesson plan and student's with a value of R2 = 0.272; p = 0.000; (4) there is a positive and significant correlation between the implementation of learning with student's competence with a value of R2 = 0.515; p = 0.000; and (5) there is a positive and significant correlation between schooling practices, lesson plans, and implementation of learning together and the competence of student'ss as prospective teachers with a value of R2 = 0.931. The predicted change in Y is indicated by the regression line equation Y = 9.463 + 0,759X1 + 0,819X2 + 0,763X3.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh peranan orangtua, ketrampilan pengelolaan UJB, dan self-efficacy terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan ex post facto. Populasi adalah siswa SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Jasa Boga di DIY. Sampel sebanyak 198 responden ditentukan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Penelitian menunjukkan kesiapan berwirausaha relatif sedang (30,8%). Uji hipotesis menemukan bahwa variabel peranan orangtua berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha sebesar 0,374 (sig 0,000). Begitu pula ketrampilan pengelolaan UJB sebesar 0,256 (sig 0,000) dan self-efficacy sebesar 0,191 (sig 0,007) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha. Terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara peranan orangtua, ketrampilan pengelolaan UJB, dan self efficacy sebesar 55% terhadap kesiapan berwirausaha. THE ENTREPRENEURIAL READINESS OF THE STUDENTS OF THE FOOD & BEVERAGE SKILL COMPETENCY IN PUBLIC VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLSAbstractThe purposes of this research are to reveal the effect of parents` roles, vocational skills in the Food & Beverage Business Management, and self-efficacy on the entrepreneurial readiness. This study uses the ex post facto approach. The population is the students of the food & beverage skill competency in public vocational high schools in Yogyakarta Spesial Territory. A sample of 198 respondents is established using the proportional random sampling technique. The data are collected using questionnaires and a test. The data are analyzed using descriptive statistics and using multiple linear regression. The results show that almost half (30.8) of students have a low entrepreneurial readiness. The hypothesis testing shows that the parents` roles have a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial readiness as much as 0.374 (sig 0.000).
