Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the application of the scientific learning model in Javanese language learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using three stages: reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions or verification. The results showed that implementing the scientific approach in learning Javanese language class V at SD Negeri Karanganyar Purbalingga was carried out through five stages: observing, asking, exploring, associating, and communicating activities. In the following actions, the teacher determines the real object of observation to foster curiosity and utilize the media so that learning is not stuck with textbooks. In the questioning activity, the teacher gives students the freedom to ask questions related to the studied material. In addition, the teacher also provides questions that explore high-level cognitive abilities. In exploring activities, the teacher explores information from students about learning materials. The activities are conducted through experiments, associating teachers, and designing teaching materials according to the 2013 curriculum. Then in communication activities, the teacher gives students the freedom to convey the results of their observations orally and in writing. Keywords: observing, questioning, exploring, associating, communicating =====================================================Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran saintifik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan membuat kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan scientifik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jawa kelas V di SD Negeri Karanganyar Purbalingga dilakukan melalui lima tahapan,yaitu kegiatan mengamati, menanya, mengeksplorasi, mengasosiasi, dan mengkomunikasikan. Pada kegiatan mengamati, guru menentukan objek pengamatan yang nyata untuk menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu dan memanfaatkan media sehingga pembelajaran tidak terpaku dengan buku teks. Pada kegiatan menanya, guru memberikan kebebasan peserta didik mengutarakan pertanyaan terkait materi yang dipelajari. Selain itu guru juga memberikan pertanyaan yang menggali kemampuan kognitif tingkat tinggi. Pada kegiatan mengeksplorasi, guru menggali informasi dari peserta didik tentang materi pembelajaran, dimana kegiatan itu dilakukan melalui eksperimen. Pada kegiatan mengasosiasi guru merancang bahan ajar sesuai kurikulum 2013. Abstract

The goal of this study was to describe the 4 C's ability to implement the 2020/2021 odd semester learning at Jitu State Elementary School in Sidoarjo Regency. The research location, which is included in the countryside, is intended to obtain a qualitative picture of the ability of the 4 C's in elementary schools, most of which are rural. Qualitative research with a descriptive narrative research design is applied. The result is that during this pandemic, there is a reality that online learning does not allow the realization of the collaborative abilities of all classes. Critical thinking skills, creative thinking, and communication are planned and implemented in learning. The ability of students who study under the guidance of their parents at home decreases compared to face-to-face learning. The teacher marks the existence of student work that parents do. Individual learning causes a decline in students' critical thinking, creative thinking, and verbal communicative skills, although the three skills (creative thinking, critical thinking, and communication) are still visible in students. The impact of learning with individual assignments on students shows a significant decrease in the 4 C's ability. Keywords: 4 C's, learning, critical thinking, creative thinking, elementary school  ==================================================Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan 4 C’s dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran semester ganjil 2020/2021 Sekolah Dasar Negeri Jitu Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Lokasi penelitian yang termasuk pedesaan dimaksudkan agar diperoleh gambaran kualitatif dari kemampuan 4 C’s di Sekolah Dasar yang mayoritas ada di daerah pedesaan. Penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian naratif deskriptif diterapkan. Hasilnya pada masa pandemic ini ada realita bahwa pembelajaran dalam jaringan tidak memungkinkan diwujudkannya aspek kemampuan kolaboratif semua kelas. Aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, dan komunikasi terencana dan terlaksana dalam pembelajaran. Kemampuan siswa yang belajar dibimbing orangtua di rumah menurun dibanding saat pembelajaran tatap muka. Guru menandai adanya pekerjaan siswa yang dikerjakan orangtua. Pembelajaran individual menyebabkan menurunnya keterampilan berpikir kritis, keterampilan berpikir kreatif, dan keterampilan komunikatif verbal siswa, walaupun ketiga keterampilan (berpikir kreatif, berpikir kritis, komunikasi) masih terlihat pada diri siswa. Dampak pembelajaran dengan penugasan individual pada diri siswa menampakkan penurunan kemampuan 4 C’s sigifikan. Kata kunci: 4 C's, learning, critical thinking, creative thinking, sekolah dasar

Abstract

This research aims to determine the quality of the multiple-choice test items for the Mid-Semester Assessment of Mathematics in the fifth-grade elementary school in Wates District Year 2021/2022. The quality of the items in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and discriminating power. This study was qualitative research. The subject in this research was a teacher and 84 students in fifth-grade elementary school students in Wates District Year 2021/2022. Data was collected by documentation method. Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 25. The data analysis technique used the difficulty index analysis technique, discriminating power, validity test, and reliability test. The results show (1) Quality items based on validity and valid question amounted to about eight items or 100%; (2) Quality items based on reliability can be concluded that the test items were reliable, with a reliability rate of 0.7359; (3) Quality items based on the level of difficulty, items that were relatively difficult and the medium was 0 item and relatively easy items amounted to 8 items or 100%; (4) Quality items based on discriminating power, there was 1 item or 12,5% in the excellent category, three items or 37,5% in the good category, and four items or 50% in the poor category. Keywords: analysis items, mathematics, mid-semester assessment ===================================================== Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas soal pilihan ganda Penilaian Tengah Semester Matematika pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Wates Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Kualitas butir soal ditinjau dari validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan 84 siswa kelas V SD Wates Tahun 2021/2022. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS Versi 25. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis indeks kesukaran, daya pembeda, uji validitas, dan uji reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Kualitas butir soal berdasarkan validitas, soal yang valid berjumlah 8 butir atau 100%; (2) Kualitas butir soal berdasarkan reliabilitasnya dapat disimpulkan butir soal tes reliabel, dengan tingkat reliabilitas 0,7359; (3) Kualitas butir soal berdasarkan tingkat kesukarannya, yaitu soal relatif sukar dan sedang adalah 0 dan soal relatif mudah berjumlah 8 butir atau 100%; (4) Kualitas item berdasarkan daya pembeda, terdapat 1 item atau 12,5% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik, 3 item atau 37,5% pada kategori cukup, dan 4 item atau 50% pada kategori kurang. Kata kunci: 4 C’s, learning, critical thinking, creative thinking, sekolah dasar

Abstract

The study aims to describe the role of parents and to determine the factors which influence the development of students’ communication skills in grade four at one of the public elementary schools in Kutoarjo during online learning. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The subjects of this study were 3 parents, 3 students, and a teacher of SDN 1 Kutarjo who conducted online learning during the pandemic. Data collection techniques include interviews and observation. In analyzing data used Milles, Huberman, and Saldana model which consists of data collection, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that (1) the role of parents in students’ communication development online learning includes openness, empathy, supportiveness, positiveness, and equality; (2) parents supporting factors in developing students, communication skills in grade four of SDN 1 Kutoarjo during online learning are communicator’s messages, creation of a message, understanding of the message, relationships of the message, and feedback. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the parents’ busyness. Through the implementation of parents’ attitude in giving guidance on effective communication to students, it can assist students in developing communication skills in online learning. Keywords: the role of parents, communication, online learning, elementary school ===================================================== Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran orang tua serta dapat mengetahui faktor yang memengaruhi dalam pengembangan komunikasi siswa kelas IV di salah satu sekolah negeri dasar Kutoarjo selama pembelajaran daring. Metode riset memanfaatkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam riset ini ialah 3 orang tua, 3 siswa, dan 1 guru yang menjalankan pembelajaran di rumah bagi anak-anak sekolah dasar pada masa pandemi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang mencakup wawancara serta pengamatan. Dalam menganalisis data mengggunakan model Milles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwasanya (1) peran orang tua dalam perkembangan komunikasi siswa selama pembelajaran daring yaitu keterbukaan (openness), empati (empathy), sikap mendukung (supportiveness), sikap positif (positiveness), dan kesetaraan (equality); (2) faktor pendukung orang tua dalam mengembangkan komunikasi siswa kelas IV SD selama pembelajaran daring yakni pesan komunikator, pembuatan pesan, pemahaman pesan, hubungan pesan, serta umpan balik sedangkan faktor penghambat yaitu kesibukan orang tua. Melalui sikap yang diterapkan orang tua dalam memberikan bimbingan komunikasi yang efektif kepada siswa mampu membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan komunikasinya dalam pembelajaran daring. Kata kunci: peran orang tua, komunikasi, pembelajaran daring, sekolah dasar

Abstract

This research is based on online learning which has an effect on the fading discipline character in elementary school students. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of online learning on the fading discipline character in elementary school students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used an ex-post facto quantitative approach.  The population of this study were all 5th grade students at SD Negeri Segugus Ahmad Yani, Purwodadi District,  Purworejo Regency amounted 171 student. The sample of this study were 5th grade students at Segugus Ahmad Yani Elementary School, Purwodadi Subdistrict, Purworejo Regency amounted 67 students. The data collection technique used in this research is a Likert scale type of questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is t-test and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that there is an effect of online learning on the discipline character of elementary school students. The level of students discipline at SD Negeri Segugus Ahmad Yani obtained value of 39,18 from 67 students. The results of the regression analysis were 0.34, while the results of the t-test obtained a significance of 2.883. Online learning only contributed 11.56% to the fading of the disciplined character of elementary school students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: Online Learning, Discipline Character, Elementary School Student

Abstract

Literasi baca tulis merupakan salah satu literasi dasar yang harus dikuasai peserta didik berdasarkan Gerakan Literasi Nasional (GLN) yang dicanangkan oleh Kemendikbud. Berdasarkan hasil skor AKSI /  INAP tahun 2016 capaian  kemapuan membaca peserta didik jenjang sekolah dasar menunjukkan hasil yang memprihatinkan, yaitu 46,83 % peserta didik memiliki kemampuan membaca dengan kategori kurang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan modul “Aksi Sekolah” dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan literasi baca tulis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yaitu, kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Cepu. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi teknik observasi, tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji V Aiken untuk instrument dan uji N-gain untuk uji data. Hasil rata-rata nilai pretest adalah 61.60 sedangkan nilai posttest adalah 79.20. Hasil analisis hipotesis menggunakan Uji N Gain diperoleh rata–rata N-gain skor sebesar 0,57 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan penggunaan modul “Aksi Sekolah” membawa pengaruh nyata dan dapat meningkatkan literasi baca tulis peserta didik SDN 1 Cepu dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Peserta didik sebagai kegiatan inti dalam pendidikan. Apabila tidak ada peserta didik maka tidak ada kegiatan pendidikan. Pada era persaingan sekarang ini peserta didik sebagai unsur utama yang harus di kelola dengan baik. Penurunan jumlah peserta didik akan berdampak pada keberlanjutan suatu sekolah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni menganalisis kemerosotan jumlah peserta didik di sekolah dasar negeri melalui analisis SWOT. Data dikumpulkan studi literature dan wawancara. Metode analisis data yang digunakan analisis SWOT meliputi kekuatan (strength), kelemahan (weakness), peluang (opportunities), dan ancaman (threats). Berdasarkan analisis SWOT, maka kemerosotan jumlah peserta didik sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Magelang harus segera ditangani. Jika dibiarkan maka minat masyarakat terhadap sekolah dasar negeri semakin menurun yang mengakibatkan terjadinya regrouping sekolah. Hal ini mendorong sekolah untuk melakukan strategi peningkatan jumlah peserta didik melalui berbagai kebijakan seperti program sosialisasi PPDB, program beasiswa, program kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, program pelatihan guru professional dan program kelompok kerja guru.

Abstract

Learning media is an important part of the learning process. Students grade V need learning media blog to make it easier for understand learning material for theme ecosystems. Learning media blog has never been used in ecosystem materials in elementary school. The method used in this  research and development using five stages: the model ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implement-Evaluate). Quantitative data analysis use to process the data results in numbers obtained from filling out validation questionnaires by learning media experts and material experts. Qualitative data take from the suggestions and input of material experts, learning media experts, students, and teachers who perfected the learning media of the blog "Hai Si IPA". The result validation product learning media of the "Hai Si IPA" is 97%. So the  "Hai Si IPA" has an "Excellent" validity criterion. The first result validation blog material of the "Hai Si IPA" is  67% was in the "Good" category, so it needed to be revised. The second result validation is 83%. The material used in the learning media blog "Hai Si IPA" is "Very good." The advantages blog "Hai Si IPA" has an attractive design includes background, layout, images, quiz and animated videos so that students don't get bored easily using it and have their brand namely "Hai Si IPA". Keywords: Learning media, Blog, Science

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada siswa kelas VI SD di Gugus Sunan Kalijaga Guntur Demak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode True Experimental Design dengan bentuk Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Gugus Sunan Kalijaga Kecamatan Guntur Kabupaten Demak diambil sampel 2 SD secara random sampling. Sampel terdiri dari SDN Sidokumpul yang terdiri dari 18 siswa (kelas kontrol) dan SDN Blerong 2 terdiri dari 24 siswa (kelas eksperimen). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model Think Pair Share terhadap pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada siswa kelas VI SD di Gugus Sunan Kalijaga Guntur Demak. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil Uji t dengan nilai Sig. (Two-Sided p) sebesar 0,000, maka 0,000 0,05. Jadi Ha diterima, dan Ho ditolak.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on all aspects of life, including the social life of elementary school children. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the structure learning (SLA) approach to improve teacher competence in independent elementary school students who are rejected in the KKG Kapanewon Sleman area. This research uses quantitative research with pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design which is by comparing the condition before being given treatment and the condition after being given treatment. This study involved 25 teachers who were members of the teacher working group (KKG) in Kapanewon Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region which was held in July-September 2022. This improvement used the lecture, question and answer, discussion, simulation and project methods. The data collection technique used is observation and the structure learning approach (SLA) scale. While the technical analysis of the data using the Wilcoxon Test. The Structure Learning Approach (SLA) has 5 hierarchical intervention techniques, namely; instruction, modeling, role playing, feedback, and ownwork/applying skills outside the group setting. The results of the implementation of this training based on a pre-post questionnaire showed an increase in pre-post results from an average of 28 to an average of 41.08. While the results of data processing using SPSS obtained the value of Sig. 0.05 this indicates a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. Thus, SLA can increase the independence of rejected elementary school students
