Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konteks wacana dalam media pemberitaan mengenai kasus “Siswa Lecehkan Guru di SMAN 1 Purwakarta” menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis Teun A. van Dijk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa analisis teks berita dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Fokus penelitian meliputi unsur konteks wacana, konteks budaya dan situasional, serta produksi dan interpretasi wacana dalam media pemberitaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media membangun representasi sosial tertentu melalui pilihan bahasa, diksi, dan struktur narasi. Siswa direpresentasikan sebagai pelaku pelanggaran moral dan etika, sedangkan guru diposisikan sebagai korban dan simbol otoritas pendidikan. Selain itu, budaya penghormatan terhadap guru dan viralitas media sosial turut memengaruhi pembentukan opini publik terhadap kasus tersebut. Media juga cenderung menonjolkan aspek emosional dan sensasional sehingga memengaruhi interpretasi masyarakat terhadap peristiwa yang diberitakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk konstruksi sosial dan opini publik melalui pemberitaan. Oleh karena itu, media diharapkan dapat menyajikan informasi secara lebih seimbang, sedangkan masyarakat perlu lebih kritis dalam memahami informasi yang beredar di media sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of local traditional in shaping the educational curriculum in Indonesia. In the current context of globalization, the value of local traditions is increasingly important for maintaining the nation’s cultural identity and enriching the learning process. This study used qualitative methods, including literature review and descriptive analysis of existing educational policies and the implementation practices of local wisdom-based curricula in Indonesia. The results indicate that local traditions play a significant role in building student character, strengthening national identity, and creating situational and relevant learning. However, challenges remain in the process of integrating local traditions into the national curriculum, such as limited resources, differences in cultural interpretation, and a lack of teacher training. Therefore, a structured and collaborative strategy is needed between the government, schools, and communities to optimize the role of local traditions in education.
