Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires the education curriculum in Indonesia to improve quality and development to the era's demands. Implementing the independent learning curriculum is one of the models for implementing the independent curriculum. The independent learning curriculum combines the independent curriculum and 2013 as a guide for student learning. The research examines the application of the independent learning curriculum at Tunas Rimba 1 Purwokerto Kindergarten. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research approach with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research was conducted from January 1 to February 1, 2023, at Tunas Riba 1 Purwokerto Kindergarten, at Jl. Ksatrian No.60, Sokanegara village, East Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. Data analysis used a lesson study with three stages: planning, implementation, and reflection. The results of this study indicate that applying the independent learning curriculum at Tunas Rimba 1 Purwokerto Kindergarten starts from planning to reflection, as well as innovations before and after the implementation of the independent learning curriculum. It can be concluded that applying the independent learning curriculum impacts educational institutions, especially the learning system.

Abstract

This research discusses the impact of authentic leadership and emotional work on employee productivity in the context of modern organizations through literature studies. This study aims to understand how authentic leadership and emotional labor can influence employee productivity in modern organizations. The method used in this research is a literature study by collecting and analyzing journals, books, and articles related to the chosen theme. In its analysis, this study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques to understand the relationship between authentic leadership, emotional work, and employee productivity. The results of this study indicate that authentic leadership and emotional labor have a positive impact on employee productivity in modern organizations. Authentic leadership can help increase employee confidence and motivation in achieving organizational goals, while emotional labor can help employees deal with stress and maintain high engagement in their jobs. This research has important practical implications for modern organizational management in developing effective leadership strategies and paying attention to the emotional labor aspects of employees to increase productivity and overall organizational performance.

Abstract

The visionary leadership of educational institutions is a leadership profile considered capable of carrying out the performance of educational institutions that are adaptive and anticipatory to changes or disruptive challenges in the future technological era. The development of technology has dramatically impacted educational institutions. So there needs to be a study of what strategies can be done by a visionary leader in doing his business in forming an innovative organization. It creates an organization by progress demands and equips its members to improve its performance. Therefore, this article provides direction for leaders to determine the right and fundamental strategies to answer this technological disruption's challenges. The study used in this article is literature that analyzes technology disruption, then presents a conceptual framework of academic leader skills of educational institutions in the challenges of technological disruption. The author proposes several strategies for leaders of educational institutions, namely changing the form of educational institutions, sharpening vision and paying attention to human resources, forming innovation teams, and evaluating teams. All is done to prepare human resources who can keep up with technological advances.

Abstract

Education is essential in the process of humanization in a cultured society. The purpose of the research is to find out the problems and also government solutions to improve the quality and equity of education in Indonesia. It is important to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, because this will help improve the quality of human resources, reduce poverty, improve the quality of life, and improve the progress of the country. This article uses the method of literature study, through source sources such as scientific journals, books and trusted websites, expected to produce relevant information and knowledge. The results showed that to improve the quality and equity of education in Indonesia, the government needs to design a comprehensive and integrated plan so that the problem of quality and equity of education can be overcome with various efforts from the government. Abstract

The strategic management of the Ibnussabil Islamic boarding school is the primary reference for making programs. For that, continue to grow and develop. So the purpose of this study is to provide an overview of strategic management in this Islamic boarding school, especially its implementation. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques in interviews with specific samples, observations, and documentation studies. From research, it is known that the formulation of strategies is carried out before the Islamic boarding school runs and is carried out by the leaders themselves, without involving other people. The implementation of the system has gone well but still needs to be improved with evaluation because there are still shortcomings. One of the drawbacks is that some programs are not implemented due to funding constraints or unsupportive costs

Abstract

Social awareness is a process in which a person understands and understands a situation that makes the individual himself aware and understands very well what is happening and what will happen. Facts on the ground show that students at SMP Negeri 2 Enrekang have experienced a decline in social awareness. This is why researchers offer solutions to increase students' social awareness by using SFBC counseling (solution-focused brief counseling). The use of this approach places more emphasis on short counseling times and has a lot of research that proves its effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the approach and the effectiveness of the solution-focused brief counseling approach in increasing social awareness among students at SMP Negeri 2 Enrekang. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The sample used in this study were 10 students in class VIII A at SMP Negeri 2 Enrekang. The results showed that the use of the SFBC approach with the scaling question technique had an effect on increasing students' social awareness compared to without using the SFBC approach with the scaling question technique.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the digital literacy competence of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students. This study used a descriptive qualitative method to process the data from the sixth-semester student at HKBP Nommensen University. The results of this study found that students had good basic skills, major skills, intermediate skills, advanced skills, and literacy skills. However, the technical capabilities are still relatively poor. In (1) Basic Competencies, some problems are resolved properly, there are also several topical problems that still exist but at least there is an overview of problem-solving. (2) Students' Basic Competencies have a fairly good introduction to the basics of computer equipment. (3) Students' Intermediate Competencies increase at this stage, namely understanding various features on laptops, using printers, and using Ms. applications. Word and use of e-mail applications. The mastery of this competency is due to the fact that informants often carry out these activities so that they are more accustomed to their use. (4) Advanced Competencies to access information using search engines and online databases are good. (5) Technical Competencies of the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program students as research informants do not yet have technical expertise regarding hardware and software. Informants have not been able to repair damage to digital equipment even at a simple level. (6) Students' Digital Literacy Proficiency does not yet have sufficient literacy skills starting from formulating a search plan, establishing a search strategy, organizing, processing, applying and communicating information, and understanding standard citation formats, and do not have the effort to communicate information with technology.

Abstract

In order to improve the quality of education. The government of the Republic of Indonesia has established the National Education Standard (SNP) which is the minimum criterion set by the government in the education system. SNP is a standard that must be met by every school and all stakeholders in managing and delivering education. Through data analysis using feature enginering and K-meann methods to predict the quality of junior high school education in Bogor Regency shows that the junior high school education standards in Bogor Regency are significantly influenced by the achievement value of 3 education quality standards, namely educator and education staff standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, and management standards. So that the education office of Bogor Regency needs to focus the direction of policies to improve the quality of junior high school education in indicators that affect these 3 standards. The results of the k-men clustering of school quality showed that junior high schools in Bogor Regency were divided into 2 major groups of education quality level, namely below the value of the 5.07 education quality level as many as 57.12% of junior high schools and the rest above the value of the 5.07 education quality level of 42.88% of junior high schools. Further development of the model needs to be further developed to the level of sub-indicators so that school quality can be more specifically measured, and the data used as analysis material is expanded and enriched by other educational data from various sectors so that the model developed can be more comprehensive in measuring the achievement of education quality.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze and describe the role of the school principle instructional leadership on teacher professional competence. The method of this article uses the literature study method, namely by collecting data or sources related to the topic raised. The findings can be concluded that the school are expected to contribute to realizing the role of the principal's instructional leadership. Based on the findings it can be concluded that instructional leadership or commonly called learning leadership, must be able to assume that schools will improve if the principal can set clear academic goals, motivate staff and students to work towards these goals, align progress, and align teaching and learning. learning activities to achieve these goals. Research shows that in line with the curriculum, methods that are appropriate to the characteristics and goals of students, evaluation, and supervision actions that are integrated with a sustainable system are indicators of the quality of the learning process.

Abstract

Matematika adalah salah satu bidang studi yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa, karena merupakan sarana pemecahan masalah sehari-hari. Kesulitan dan kesalahan yang paling banyak dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual adalah rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan pemecahan masalah kontekstual.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa dalam pemahaman mengenai materi bangun Ruang dan untuk mengetahui faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar matematika pada siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 060820 medan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan suatu fenomena yang biasanya terjadi di lapangan dengan mempertimbangkan segala masalah yang diteliti. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwaKesulitan yang dialami siswa pada proses pembelajaran materi bangun ruang khususnya pada topik bola, yaitu: kesulitan pemahaman konsep, kesulitan keterampilan, dan kesulitan pemecahan masalah.
