Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of online learning activities in improving student learning outcomes. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach and is descriptive in nature. The place and time of this research is the Study Program of Economic Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Open University, Even Semester, Academic Year 2022/2023 Course in Geography and Environmental Conservation. Data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques carried out were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Implementation of case studies includes planning, case descriptions, classifying types of problems, describing problems, collecting data, data processing, synthesis and interpretation, evaluation and follow-up. The results of this study indicate that 1) Students who have high scores are those who always access initiation materials one through eight, by working on the first assignment, second assignment and third assignment, 2) Students who have low scores are students who do not access any of the first initiation materials up to eight, but still working on the first task, second task or third task, and 3) Obstacles faced why students do not access initiation materials are caused by several things, namely busy work, sometimes network constraints in their area are not good, so that during initiation students experience delays upload assignments or answer the discussion of each initiation.

Abstract

The application of the principles of transformational leadership in school management is very important to improve the quality of education, so this is the background of this research. This study aims to explain the Principles of Transformational Leadership in School Management (Case Study at SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang). This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach and is descriptive in nature. The place and time of this research is SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang in the Even Semester 2022/2023. Data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. The informants/sources of information in this study were the principal, deputy principal and teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang. Data analysis techniques carried out were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study explain 1) Transformational leaders are leaders who have far-reaching insights and seek to improve and develop the organization not only for now but in the future as well, 2) Transformational leadership is based on four main dimensions, namely Idealized Influence, Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation , and Individualized Consideration, 3) The principles of transformational leadership include Simplification, Motivation, Facilitation, Innovation, Mobility, Alertness, and Determination, and 4) Application of the Principles of Transformational Leadership in School Management at SMP Negeri 1 Bojongsoang includes a clear inspirational vision, individual development, intellectual stimulation, ideal influence, inspiration and motivation, and empowerment and delegation.

Abstract

This research aims to develop storytelling teaching materials to increase children's reading interest in social studies subjects at SMP Kab. Klaten. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The preliminary study stage is the stage that is carried out for the first time in R&D research, and the initial study consists of three stages, namely: literature study, field survey, and preparation of product drafts. The second stage is the product development stage. The researcher sends the product developed to the validator to be validated by experts according to their field. The results of this study are that storytelling teaching materials are feasible to use and very effective in increasing students' interest in reading, which can be proven by the feasibility of this product as evidenced by the results of validation carried out by several teachers, namely material expert teachers, two media experts, three linguists, and story experts. Validation results with successive percentage results, namely 95%, 85%, 80%, and 79%.

Abstract

Inlearning Arabic there are four abilities that must be learned and mastered by students, namely the ability to listen, speak, read and write. To master these four skills, one of the efforts that must be taken is to improve the acquisition of mufradat or Arabic vocabulary, because it is very helpful for the learning results of the four Arabic skills.This study aims to find out and analyze how the application of the Make A Match model in learning Arabic mufradat at MTs Muhammadiyah 09 Purbalingga. This research is a type of field research that is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that mufrodat learning at MTs Muhammadiyah 09 Purbalingga, teachers conduct learning in three stages, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. Then in the implementation of mufradat learning the teacher uses the Make a Match model to help students understand and memorize the mufradat given. By using this model, it creates a pleasant learning atmosphere and makes students become more active when participating in learning activities..

Abstract

The research objectives were to find out 1) the application of the Number Head Together (NHT) Cooperative learning model to Grade V students at SDI Bukkangraki, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency; 2) Achievement Motivation of Class V Students in the Application of the Number Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning Model at SDI Bukkangraki, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency; 3) Learning Outcomes of Class V Students in Number Head Together (NHT) Type Cooperative Learning at SDI Bukkangraki, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection instruments used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or conclusion. The research results obtained are the application of the Number Head Together (NHT) Cooperative learning model directing students to work together in groups so that they can motivate achievement in learning success, seen from the enthusiasm and activeness of students in the learning process and being able to understand and do assignments in a timely manner with friends groups, making students interact with other students in class, while learning achievement can be assessed from three domains, namely affective, cognitive, psychomotor so that the achievement of student learning outcomes is maximized.

Abstract

Seeing the importance of facilities and infrastructure in supporting education, MTs Negeri 2 Deli Serdang is a State Madrasah with Accreditation A where in principle the educational facilities and infrastructure have met existing needs. However, by only meeting existing needs, it cannot run well if the management is not correct. the purpose of this study was to find out what kind of influence Leadership Management has on the management of madrasah facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 2 Deli Serdang. The type of research that the author used in research at MTs Negeri 2 Deli Serdang was quantitative descriptive research. To obtain complete data, the authors use data collection tools in the form of observation, data analysis, and documentation. Based on the results of the study it is understood that the Effect of Leadership Management on the Management of Madrasah facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri 2 Deli Serdang which includes: First the planning activities for facilities and infrastructure are always carried out starting from needs analysis, determining the place of goods and selecting goods needed, Second procurement activities have been running starting from dropping the government and procuring schools by buying and determining funds as needed but there are still procurement activities that have not been running. Third, the use of facilities and infrastructure is always carried out to support learning. Fourth, maintenance of facilities and infrastructure is carried out regularly by involving madrasa residents The five inventories are always carried out as evidence of procurement of goods. The six write-off activities have already been carried out. From the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the Influence of Leadership Management on the Management of Madrasah Facilities and Infrastructure at MTs Negeri 2 Deli Serdang has been fulfilled by means of: planning needs, procurement , use , maintenance, inventory, write-off and accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to know the literature of the concept of education in a family in the perspective of Nurcholish Madjid. The research method used is Library Reaserch so that books and articles obtained from Google Scholar, Scopus and also articles indexed by WOS are the main ingredients in this study. Furthermore, it is analyzed using a Content Analysis approach. Based on the research conducted, the results were found, if not excessive if the research carried out can be a reference in research, especially those related to education in the family. The position of this paper among the works of researchers who have studied Nurcholish Madjid's thought is clearly different. Because this research will specifically and intensively examine Nurcholish Madjid's thought which is a critical dialogical (ijtihad) in the context of contemporary problems. The freedom and depth of his thinking is an intellectual treasure that can be an inspiration and reflection in answering current problems, especially in the field of education in the family.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the description of the learning achievement of students at SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar, to explain how much influence social media has on the learning achievement of students at SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar and to find out the factors that influence student achievement at SD Negeri Makassar Power 1. The type of research used in this study used total sampling so that as many as 27 students were obtained from the total number of students. The instrument used is in the form of a social media questionnaire and to find out the learning achievement of students is in the form of end-of-semester scores. Based on the results of the research, the hypothesis test found that there was a significant influence of social media on the learning achievement of SD Negeri Daya 1 Makassar students. This can be seen from the t-value of social media, namely -2.154 > 1.708 and a significant level of 0.041 <0.05.

Abstract

Parents play a major role in aspects of a child's life. Parents also play an important role in the social interaction of children, especially deaf children. But in reality there are children who have difficulty controlling their emotions in interacting with peers and some are also lacking in terms of interaction and are limited during interactions. This is where the important role of parents of deaf children is needed. This study aims to determine the role of parents in the social interaction of deaf children with their peers at the SMPLB level at SLB Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung and SLB Batu Kambing. The method in this study was descriptive quantitative with a sample of twenty parents of deaf children. The data that the researchers used in this study was in the form of a questionnaire which was distributed to deaf parent respondents. This study uses data analysis techniques in the form of percentages with the given categories, namely very good, good, fair and not good categories. The results of this study can be concluded that the role of parents of deaf children in social interaction is divided into four, namely; aspects of parents as caregivers with a percentage of 25.5%, aspects of parents as educators with a percentage of 33%, parents as mentors with a percentage of 35.83%, and aspects of parents as motivation with a percentage of 29 .5%, the the sum of the four indicators can be accumulated with a percentage of 16.43%, indicating the results of the category are not good. Abstract

The spread of the pandemic-19 has resulted in the increasing of poor residents in Gresik Regency and East Java Province, up to 2021 (gresikkab.bps.go.id and jatim.bps.go.id). seeing the magnitude impact of the Covid-19 in all aspect, efforts are needed concrete solutions that can solve these problems in the form of empowerment village community (Aprilianto, et al, 2021). This problem requires support from institutions referred to Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) Nurul Hayat (Rohmah, 2021). This institution is an that collect Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah (SIZ) funds f rom the community (muzakki) and redistributed to the community (mustahiq) according to islamic law. The purpose of this research is to find out of the role of Lembaga Amil Zakat Nurul Hayat Gresik institution in empowering village communities during the pandemic covid-19. This research is a descriptive qualitative techniques of taking the subject using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques from interviews, observations, and documentations. The results of this study indicate that the existance of LAZ Nurul Hayat Gresik empowerment program has made the community more advanced and developed in their socio-economic field, the village community feels that they have gained more scientific insight related to entrepreneurship practices. The empowerment program from LAZ Nurul Hayat: namely Ternak Desa Sejahtera (TDS) program, and Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) program.
