Abstract

Learning mathematics is essentially doing mental activities. In mathematics learning, students are required to prepare mentally in the process of receiving new knowledge. Facts in the field show that the lack of use of creative and innovative learning methods in the mathematics learning process has an impact on the low mathematics learning outcomes of grade V elementary school students. Therefore, this research aims to apply the drill method as one of the creative and innovative methods to improve student learning outcomes. This research is a quantity research by applying pre-experimental design. Using one group pre-test and post-test, this study was conducted on grade V students of SD Negeri 2 Merauke in the 2022/2023 academic year. The total sample in this study was 32 students with the data collection method being a test. The results showed that there was a very significant improvement in student learning outcomes. The increase in the percentage of the average score of student learning outcomes from the previous pre-test of 56.78 increased in the post-test of 84.65. However, we cannot ignore the obstacles that occur. Some obstacles when implementing the drill method are inhibiting the development of students' initiative abilities, the formation of rigid and inflexible habits, the emergence of verbalism, and the emergence of boredom and boredom. For this reason, teachers must implement the drill method in a fun way, for example through games or combined with other methods.

The problem in this study is whether the provision of discussion group guidance services can reduce the negative impact of gadgets on social interaction of Class IX students of MTs Al Bukhari Labuhanbatu T.A. 2022/2023. To obtain data in this study, researchers collected data through observation and questionnaires. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of 2 cycles, cycle I and cycle II, each of which has 2 meetings. In each cycle the researcher conducts an immediate assessment (Laiseg) and distributes a questionnaire. The purpose of this study was to reduce the negative effects of gadgets in social interaction through group discussion technique guidance services for Class IX students of MTs Al Bukhari Labuhanbatu T.A. 2022/2023. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis before being given action, 12 students were obtained with 9 people having the lowest social interaction due to the influence of gadgets and 3 people having the highest social interaction. so that the initial percentage in 1 group is 25%. From the results of data analysis in cycle I, after being given the action, it was found that 3 students experienced an increase in social attitudes so that the percentage of success became 50%, this can be seen from the results of the questionnaire and segment analysis. In cycle II there was a significant increase in students' social interaction, namely 83% because it was obtained 4 students who experienced an increase. Even though there are still 2 students (17%) who are categorized as 'moderate', the service success rate has met the target of 75%. Thus it can be concluded that the adverse effects of using gadgets in student social interaction can be reduced through group discussion technique guidance services for Class IX MTs Al Bukhari Labuhanbatu T.A. 2022/2023. It is recommended that this discussion technique group guidance service be used by counseling teachers at MTs Al Bukhari Labuhanbatu in order to reduce the negative impact of gadgets on students' social interactions at school

Abstract

This study aims to find out to produce a valid and reliable Project Based Learning integrated ethnoscience instrument in Newton's Law material. This type of research is a development research with 4D model. The research sample came from 2 physics education lecturers and physics teachers of SMA Negeri 4 Kerinci. Data collection techniques come from observation, interviews and validation questionnaires. The instrument in this study was a validation sheet using a likers scale. Data analysis is qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques with the help of the SPSS version 21 application. The results show the average validation value of ethnoscience instruments of 0.710 with very valid criteria and a reliability value of 0.845 high criteria. This finding explains that the ethnoscience instrument integrated with project-based learning is very feasible to be developed in learning physics material on Newton's Law

Abstract

Learning Arabic is a complex and challenging process for many students. To increase the effectiveness of learning, innovative and well-structured material design is needed. This article focuses on reviewing the design of Arabic learning materials. The research analysis method used in this paper is the literature analysis method, and it is concluded that the concept of learning material design is a planning process that includes several stages. First, determine learning objectives that are focused on newly learned knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Second, choosing the right methods, media, and materials to achieve these goals and adjusting to the curriculum or competency standards and basic competencies. In this case, it is necessary to consider other supporting sources, such as relevant learning resources and appropriate learning environments. Third, conduct a theory review and have a learning method that is suitable for students. Fourth, consider availability and accessibility and Fifth, develop the design into reality through the development process. This stage includes making clear and detailed blue-print documents and conducting sample trials.
