Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

Teacher feedback has always been understood as knowledge regarding the strengths and weaknesses of students' academic performance as well as suggestions for improvement. This research aims to find out students’ perceptions about teacher feedback and how teacher feedback influences the learning outcomes of English Education Study Program Students at Muhammadiyah University of Enrekang. The subjects of this research were 10 third semester students. The data analysis technique uses SPSS V.25 by looking for the influence of teacher feedback on student learning outcomes. Teacher feedback is measured using a questionnaire and student learning outcomes are obtained from writing tests. The research results show that teacher feedback and student learning outcomes is in the medium category. Based on the results of analysis and hypothesis testing, the significant value is 0.013 < 0.05. It showed that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Hence, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between teacher feedback on the students’ learning outcomes of English education study program students at Muhammadiyah University of Enrekang.

Abstract

Discipline is an important element in education that can influence students' academic performance. Discipline is defined as the attitude and feeling of obedience and compliance towards values that are considered a responsibility. This study aims to examine the importance of discipline in education and its benefits and implications. The methodology used is qualitative research with a literature review approach, collecting data through journal and book literature to observe social phenomena related to discipline in education. Discipline in education includes appreciation, respect, and compliance with rules, both written and unwritten. Education is a process to improve individuals' abilities, knowledge, and skills through teaching, training, and development. Therefore, education and discipline are two interrelated aspects that play a role in forming quality human resources. In conclusion, discipline in education has an important role in shaping students' character and performance. Consistent implementation of discipline can help create a conducive educational environment and produce individuals who are qualified and ready to face future challenges

Abstract

This scientific study aims to analyze in more depth the institutional and educational system of PTAIN, especially IAIN. This scientific study uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research. The data used in this study is secondary data, including various government policies (UU, PP, Presidential Decree, or Ministerial Regulation), journals, and books that are appropriate to the topic to be studied. The results of the analysis state that institutionally, IAIN has been recognized and even has similarities and equality with other state higher education institutions. Starting from the organizational structure, to the government policies that cover it (PP No. 30, 1990). However, IAIN is within the Ministry of Religion, not the Ministry of Education and Culture. Apart from that, in the education system, IAIN refers to the applicable National Education System (UU No. 20/2003). However, the specific IAIN policy will be disclosed in the Regulation of the Minister of Religion in each relevant IAIN Statute.

Abstract

This scientific study aims to examine more deeply Islamic education during the Aceh Sultanate. This scientific study uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research. The data used in this study is secondary data, including accredited journals and books that are appropriate to the topic studied. The results of the analysis state that the Aceh Sultanate was the result of the amalgamation of Islamic kingdoms in the Aceh region around the 16th century AD, which experienced prosperity during the reign of Sultan Iskandar Muda. What underlies the progress of the Acehnese Sultanate is Islamic law as the state ideology, being the center of study, intellectualism, and producing various Islamic literature. Therefore, Islamic education has become the main spearhead in the progress of the Sultanate of Aceh, to the point where it has the title Center for Islamic Studies.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach (CALLA) in teaching speaking. This research is a pre-experimental research with a pre-test and post-test design. This was carried out in the seventh grade at MTs TIA NW WANASABA in the 2023-2024 academic years. The sample consisted of 26 students. The research sampling used purposive sampling. The instrument speaks tests to collect data. Data were analyzed using Statistics 16.0 for win Statisticsdows. The results show that focus group discussions are effective for students with an average post-test score of 60.77 which is higher than the pre-test average score of 48.80. the hypothesis testing value of data analysis is 0.00, which is lower than 0.05. means that the alternative hypothesis of this research is accepted. Therefore, the Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach (CALLA) is effective in teaching speaking ability. Considering the process and results of this research, the researcher suggests using the Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach (CALLA) in teaching speaking.

Abstract

This research discusses the concept of interreligious communication in the context of the Qur'an, focusing on Surah Al-Hujurat Verse 13. This Surah teaches the basic principles of human relations, which emphasize the importance of tolerance and respect for differences in race, culture, and belief. This research uses qualitative analysis and literature review methods to analyze the data and find conclusions. Tolerance means respecting, allowing, and freeing others to behave and act in a way that is consistent with their rights, as long as it does not harm or infringe upon the rights of others. The results show that Surah Al-Hujurat Verse 13 contains teachings that support values and principles relevant to the vision of society which prioritizes diversity, inclusiveness, morality, and collaboration in creating a harmonious and sustainable society. Religious moderation in the context of society can play an important role in maintaining social harmony and contributing to the creation of a more harmonious society.

Abstract

In the world of education, learning media is very necessary in an effort to increase students' understanding, knowledge and absorption of certain learning content so that the learning process becomes more interesting and optimal. This learning media is an important element in the learning process, so that students can more easily understand the content of the material presented by the teacher and increase student interest and motivation in learning. One learning media that can be used to motivate students to learn is the implementation of education-based digital learning media, including the implementation of the Kahoot application learning media. The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of the Kahoot application to increase student learning motivation. The method used is qualitative research with an experimental research approach and field research using topics and research objects from grade 6 students at SDN 7 Matajang Bulukumba. The results of the research show that by implementing the Kahoot application as a learning medium, the interest and learning motivation of grade 6 students at SDN 7 Matajang Bulukumba increases and achieves the expected learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for developing bulletin board media to increase students' learning motivation in Pancasila Education subjects in junior high school. From the observation of 32 learners in class VII SMP N 6 Lahat, it was found that 10 learners often came late, had not taken out books and Learner Worksheets (LKPD) after the lesson started, paid less attention to the teacher's explanation, and did not carry out the teacher's orders. The results of the daily test showed that only 19 students were complete in achieving the material, while 13 others were not complete. This shows that the material tested has not been mastered well by students. In addition, the delivery of material by teachers is still monotonous, traditional, and minimal learning media. The percentage of PKN learning completeness only reached 59%, while the other 41% were not complete. So this research emphasizes the importance of further development of bulletin board media as a means to increase student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Picture And Picture terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar Ilmu pengetahuan Sosial murid kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Bodoa kecamatan Tallo kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonquivalent control grup desing. Teknik sampling menggunakan sampel jenuh. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 50 orang, terdiri dari 25 orang kelas eksperimen dan 25 orang kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket untuk mengukur motivasi belajar dan lembar tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar murid. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial, dan pada tahap uji prasyarat data dilakukan uji normalitas data dan uji homogenitas data. Sedangkan untuk uji hipotesis dilakukan Uji Manova. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah 1) terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar melalui model pembelajaran Picture And Picture berorientasi pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial murid kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Bodoa 2) Terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar melalui Model pembelajaran Picture And Picture berorientasi pendidikan karakter pada mata pelajarn Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial murid kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Bodoa; 3). Model pembelajaran Picture And Picture berorientasi pendidikan karakter terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar murid dengan nilai signifikasi <0,001 < 0,05 terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Picture And Picture berorientasi pendidikan karakter terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Bodoa Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Picture And Picture dapat mempengaruhi motivasi dan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Murid kelas V SD Negeri Kaluku Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Humans have advantages when compared to other creatures, namely being able to use their minds. Like other creatures, Allah has also given them minds. Mind which comes from the word 'aqala ya'qilu 'aqlan can be called neuroscience. In the review of philosophical science, humans are thinking animals (hayawanun natiq), where by Allah ASWT humans are given a special task as khalifah fil ardh to manage and prosper this earth. This task as a khalifah requires sufficient knowledge, must have a smart brain or really optimize their intellectual abilities as best they can and like to contemplate Allah's creations in this universe. As Allah says in the Qur'an Surah Ali Imran [3]: 190-191, "Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, the alternation of day and night there are signs of Allah's greatness for people who have reason. Namely, those who remember Allah standing, sitting and lying down, and they think about the creation of the heavens and the earth. " In addition to discussing the brain or reason, it also shows its relationship with verses ending in, "afalaa ta'qiluun" and verses ending in, "Afalaa yatadzakkaruun". This article examines the relationship between neuroscience and the Qur'an and efforts to study neuroscience in optimizing humans in using their brains. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. This study aims to examine the relationship between neuroscience and the Qur'an and the extent to which neuroscience plays a role in optimizing the human brain to be optimal in carrying out its duties as a caliph on earth.
