Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concern in publishing the original research articles, review articles from the contributors and the current issues related to multidisipline of education. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. This journal has been accredited in Grade 4 (Sinta 4) based on the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology No. 158/E/KPT/2021, December 27, 2021.

Abstract

This scientific study aims to analyze in more depth related to Islamic education in Law no. 20/2003. This scientific study uses qualitative research methods with a historical approach. The data used in this study is secondary data, including books and journals that are appropriate to the topic studied. The results of the analysis state that Islamic education is not only a means of transferring knowledge and developing basic human potential but also an actualization of Islamic values ​​so that we can be free from ignorance. This is supported by Law no. 20/2003, which bridges Islamic educational institutions (madrasas) to be able to contribute directly to efforts to educate the nation's life. Madrasas have been given a strategic position as a form of formal educational institution recognized by the Indonesian government, on a par with other formal educational institutions. Even Law No. 20/2003 also gives extraordinary existence to Islamic education as a mandatory subject in primary, secondary, and higher education

Abstract

One of the famous reform scholars in West Sumatra is Sheikh Burhanuddin. The purpose of this article is to find out about the life history, scientific spirit and educational system of Tuanku Burhanuddin Ulakan, West Sumatra. The method used in the research is through literature study by carrying out an inventory of all the literature sources used and then carefully verifying them to ensure the level of relevance of the material collected to the object that is the focus of the study in the research. This method is to provide a guarantee of the level of objectivity of the data used. The conclusions from this article are: (1) Sheikh Burhanuddin is thought to have been born in 1056 Hijiriah/1646 AD to a family that adhered to Buddhism. He comes from the Guguk Sikaladi Pariangan area, Padang Panjang, then his parents moved to Sintuak Lubuk Alung. (2) Sheikh Burhanuddin's way of imparting Islamic teachings to the children of Tanjung Medan was in a gradual, soft way. He didn't want to do it hard. The way to do this is to apply one of the verses of the Koran which reads: "Lā Iqraha Fiddīn" (there is no compulsion in religion). (3) It is important to understand that through the Syattariyah congregation which is Sheikh Burhanuddin's means of preaching Islam, Islamic teachings seem to be more easily accepted by the Minangkabau people. Because he presented the Islam of the tarekat which prioritizes the importance of spiritual qualities and inner purification compared to the practices and rituals of the tarekat in general

Abstract

This scientific study aims to analyze in more depth the Dutch colonial government's policies towards Islamic education. This scientific study uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research. The data used in this study is secondary data, including accredited journals and books that are appropriate to the topic studied. The results of the analysis state that the Dutch colonial government's policy towards Islamic education in Indonesia was very unsupportive. The researchers based this conclusion on deviations in the application of ethical politics, the emergence of teacher ordinances, and even illegal school ordinances that are specific to educational institutions or Islamic schools. Therefore, this proves how concerned the Dutch colonial government was regarding the existence and development of Islamic education in Indonesia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan bahan bacaan berbasis kearifan lokal Assamaturu berbantuan aplikasi Heyzine Flipbooks. Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dan manfaat nyata dalam pembelajaran khususnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas IV dalam konsteks kearifan lokal yang ada di Kabupaten Gowa. Secara akademis, Penelitian ini akan memberikan kontribusi pada literatur pendidikan dengan memperluas pemahaman tentang pengembangan bahan bacaan berbasis budaya lokal assamaturu dalam konteks pendidikan dasar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan 4- D (four D models). Adapun tahap-tahap model 4-D antara lain pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Adapun temuan penelitian ini berdasarkan analisis validitas yang di lakukan oleh pakar ahli atau validator 1 dan validator 2 diatas menunjukkan bahwa Instrumen penelitian dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rekapitulasi yaitu 3,7. Selanjutnya hasil analisis kepraktisan dengan data angket respon guru dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa bahan bacaan berbasis kearifan lokal Assamaturu berbantuan aplikasi Heyzine Flipbooks dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan nilai presentasi yaitu 92%. Kemudian hasil analisis keefektifan berdasarkan hasil tes pemahaman membaca yaitu secara keseluruhan rata-rata nilai siswa yaitu 87 dengan presentasi ketuntasan 90% dengan ini dapat disimpulan bahwa bahan bacaan berbasis keraifan lokal Assamaturu berbantuan aplikasi Heyzine Flipbooks sangat baik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar. Dengan demikian bahan bacaan berbasis kearifan lokal Assamaturu berbantuan aplikasi Heyzine Flipbooks valid, praktis dan efektif dalam menigkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications on the Independent Learning Curriculum in Indonesia from 2018 to 2023. This curriculum was introduced to provide flexibility and autonomy in education, encouraging school creativity and innovation. Using bibliometric methods, the study identified a significant increase in publications since 2020, with most articles coming from Indonesia. Topical analysis highlights the main focus on curriculum implementation, its impact on learning outcomes, school and teacher readiness, and learning innovation. Frequently raised issues include limited resources in remote areas, lack of teacher training, and challenges in developing appropriate grading systems. Collaboration between researchers and institutions is also an important theme, showing joint efforts in understanding and developing the Independent Learning Curriculum. These findings are important for education policy and practitioners to improve the quality of curriculum implementation in the future, with recommendations to strengthen teacher training further and develop innovative assessment systems

Abstract

The blended learning model is a combination of learning strategies that are implemented by presenting a variety of learning resources for students to help expand and deepen individual learning understanding of a learning material. Therefore, this study aims to find out and describe the influence of the blended learning model on social attitudes, students' cognitive learning outcomes, and the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes of science after the application of the blended learning model. In addition, this study also aims to find out and describe the influence of the blended learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of science students in grade VII through social attitudes. In the collection of research data, the research method used in the implementation of this research is a quasi-experimental method (quasy experiment) with a research design, namely one group pretest-postest design. The research sample used was students in grade VII A SMP Negeri 2 Martapura OKU-Timur with a total of 30 students as an experimental class. In the research data collection procedure, the data collection methods used include using questionnaires/questionnaires and test methods. In the data testing stage, the application of the blended learning model had a significant influence on both students' social attitudes and students' cognitive learning outcomes in science with a calculated significance result of 0.00 < 0.05. Meanwhile, in the third test, the application of the blended learning model did not have a significant influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes in science through their students' social attitudes as shown by the t-count value obtained of 0.1049 < 2.052 (t-table). Then, in the fourth test, it was explained that there was an increase in the cognitive learning outcomes of science students in grade VII by using a blended learning learning model with an N-gain of 0.487 with the category of moderate/moderate improvement

Abstract

Patient safety in hospitals is still a major issue, with a wide range of services that have risks that threaten patient safety. Patient safety incidents (PSEs) are unintentional events and conditions that result in or have the potential to result in preventable harm to patients. According to the Minister of Health Regulation No. 11 of 2017, patient safety is a system that makes patient care safer, including risk assessment, identification and management of patient risks, incident reporting and analysis, the ability to learn from incidents and their follow-up, and the implementation of solutions to minimize the incidence of risk and prevent injury caused by errors due to carrying out an action or not taking action that should be taken. 2014, includes fear of being blamed, lack of commitment from management and related units, no reward from the hospital if reporting, not knowing which boundaries or what to report, and ineffective socialization of patient safety incidents. Therefore, hospitals must increase the awareness and ability of health human resources in analyzing, handling, and reporting patient safety incidents. Thus, patient safety incident reporting in hospitals is essential to improve patient safety. Hospitals must ensure that the patient safety incident reporting system is carried out effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This research aims 1) to find out the meaning of ethics and the teaching profession, 2) to find out the basic principles or concepts of ethics and the teaching profession, and 3) to find out what the concept of ethics is in Islam. This research uses literature research (library research) or library research with a qualitative approach. The secondary data in this research is in the form of documents that support this research such as books, articles and journals. Abstract

Kebudayaan dan pendidikan merupakan satu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan makna & transmisi kebudayaan dalam sistem pendidikan, kebudayan sebagai unsur pendukung pendidikan, implementasi kebudayaan dalam memperkuat peradaban bangsa. Pendekatan dalam kajian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan, yakni merupakan kajian literatur pada sumber-sumber yang telah ada berupa buku, jurnal dan proseding ilmiah, dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi, dan teknik analisis data yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Abstract

Abstract A very significant policy in education has been introduced by the Indonesia Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Nadiem Makarim, that is called as Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). These programs offer many opportunities for those students to improve their self-development that can enhance their future career. Researchers use phenomenological study as a strategy of inquiry in this qualitative research method design. Four EFL students were being key informants in this research. They were students of English department from one state private university in Medan. Researchers used in-depth interview to gather the data information. Primarily, this research brings to a deep discussion on five major themes, they are 1) Challenges and practices, 2) Values of the program, 3) Impacts for the students, 4) Roles and responsibilities, and 5) Perspective changes. This research highlights the thoughts on how to increase the evidentiary base for Kampus Merdeka’s future operationalization especially for the university’s policy on giving those students’ score on their course matters. Abstrak Kebijakan yang sangat signifikan dalam pendidikan telah diperkenalkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi Indonesia, Nadiem Makarim, yang disebut sebagai Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Program-program ini menawarkan banyak kesempatan bagi para siswa untuk meningkatkan pengembangan diri mereka yang dapat meningkatkan karir masa depan mereka. Peneliti menggunakan studi fenomenologi sebagai strategi penyelidikan dalam perancangan metode penelitian kualitatif ini. Empat siswa EFL menjadi informan kunci dalam penelitian ini. Mereka adalah mahasiswa jurusan Bahasa Inggris dari salah satu universitas swasta negeri di Medan. Peneliti menggunakan wawancara mendalam untuk mengumpulkan informasi data. Terutama, penelitian ini membawa diskusi mendalam tentang lima tema utama, yaitu 1) Tantangan dan praktik, 2) Nilai program, 3) Dampak bagi siswa, 4) Peran dan tanggung jawab, dan 5) Perubahan perspektif. Penelitian ini menyoroti pemikiran tentang bagaimana meningkatkan basis pembuktian untuk operasionalisasi Kampus Merdeka di masa depan, terutama untuk kebijakan universitas tentang memberikan nilai siswa tersebut pada materi kuliah mereka. Kata kunci: Program MBKM, mahasiswa bahasa Inggris, Prospek Karir Masa Depan.
