Abstract

Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi momentum dan impuls kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pada penelitian ini terdapat 2 jenis data yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif pada penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Data kuantitatif pada penelitian ini adalah tes untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI F1 tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini terdiri dari empat tahapan utama yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi yang dilaksanakan secara berulang dalam bentuk siklus. Indikator yang menjadi acuan keberhasilan pada penelitian tindakan kelas ini yaitu mengalami peningkatan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan presentase >75% dari keseluruhan siswa telah mencapai KKTP. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI F1 di SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. Peningkatan ini terlihat dari persentase ketuntasan klasikal yang terus meningkat pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus I, sebanyak 45,71% siswa mencapai ketuntasan. Persentase ini meningkat menjadi 68,57% pada siklus II, dan terus bertambah hingga 77,14% pada siklus III. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi fluida statis di kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tiga pertemuan yaitu dua pertemuan kegiatan belajar dan satu pertemuan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa setiap siklus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan klasikal siswa sebesar 55,56%, meningkat menjadi 83,33% pada siklus II. Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

As the main leader in a school, the principal has a crucial role in building and developing a positive school culture. This study focuses on SDN 167646 in Padang Hulu District, Tebing Tinggi City. The approach used in this study is qualitative with descriptive methods. The main objective of this study is to analyze the development of school culture through the leadership of the principal at SDN 167646. By comparing the ideal conditions expected with the reality that occurs, this study is expected to contribute to improving the quality of education at the school. The results of the study indicate that the principal acts as a visionary leader, role model, cooperation facilitator, problem solver, and evaluator in forming a school culture that focuses on building student character, improving the quality of learning, and strengthening positive values. Although there are various challenges, such as resistance to change, budget constraints, and minimal parental involvement, the strategies implemented by the principal through a dialogic approach, teacher training, and cooperation with the community have succeeded in overcoming these obstacles. The resulting changes are seen in increased discipline, cooperation, and active participation of students in various school programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the improvement of students' conceptual mastery in IPAS subjects through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This study is classified as a classroom action research with students from the fourth grade of SDN 5 Makale, totaling 29 students, as the subjects. Data analysis employs qualitative descriptive analysis. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model within the framework of the independent curriculum can enhance students' conceptual mastery. This is evident from the results of the students' conceptual mastery tests at the end of each cycle. The students' learning completeness in Cycle I was 51.72%, which increased to 86.20% in Cycle II.

Abstract

Reading interest among primary school-aged children has become critical in Indonesia's education field. One initiative to foster children's interest in reading is the Community Reading Gardens (Taman Bacaan Masyarakat, TBM). This study seeks to explore the efforts of TBM Al-Istiqomah to enhance children's interest in reading in Cileunyi Kulon Village, Bandung Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach conducted at TBM Al-Istiqomah, Cileunyi Kulon, Bandung Regency, from January to April 2023. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that TBM Al-Istiqomah has implemented various strategies to improve reading interest among primary school-aged children, such as providing engaging reading materials, organizing appealing and interactive literacy activities, and collaborating with PKBM institutions and other non-formal educational organizations. However, several supporting factors and challenges have been identified in these efforts, including limited funding for development, a lack of human resources, and difficulties in establishing partnerships with local government authorities

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis perbandingan model pembelajaran Example Non Example dan Picture And Picture ditinjau dari aktivitas belajar IPS siswa kelas IV Gugus I Kecamatan Patallassang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pretest-postest control group design. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah murid kelas IV SDI Teamate dengan menerapkan model Example Non Example dan SDI Borongpa La La dengan pembelajaran Picture And Picture. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket aktivitas dan tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian Berdasarkan hasil uji Paired Sample Test nilai pada kelas model Example non Example dan Picture and Picture analisis levene’s test dapat diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansinya adalah 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa 0,000 ≥ 0,05 maka H0 diterima, artinya varian populasi identik/sama. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan model pembelajaran Example Non Example dan Picture And Picture ditinjau dari aktivitas belajar IPS siswa kelas IV Gugus I Kecamatan Patallassang. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Example Non Example dan Picture And Picture terhadapaktivitas belajar IPS kelas IV.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the PQRST method in improving students' reading comprehension of analytical exposition texts. The research design employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: the experimental group, which was taught using the PQRST method, and the control group, which received passive instruction through direct teacher explanations. Data were collected through a reading comprehension test to measure students' understanding. The Independent Sample T-test result indicates significant differences between the experimental and control groups' post-test scores. The two-tailed significance (Sig) value was 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of α = 0.050, confirming a statistically significant difference between the two groups. The experimental group, which applied the PQRST method, scored higher than the control group. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the PQRST method significantly enhances students' reading comprehension of analytical exposition texts.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of using animation movies as a medium to improve learners' speaking skills, focusing particularly on vocabulary and pronunciation. The findings demonstrate a significant improvement in learners' speaking performance, as evidenced by the comparison of pre-test and post-test results. The mean score increased from 51.77 in the pre-test to 83.87 in the post-test, highlighting the substantial impact of the animation movie approach. Statistical analysis using a paired-sample t-test further supports these results, with a p-value of 0.000, indicating significance at the 0.05 level (p < 0.05). This confirms the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1), validating the effectiveness of the intervention. The use of animation movies proved to be an appropriate and beneficial strategy in the teaching and learning process, as it enhances learners' ability to understand pronunciation and memorize vocabulary. The findings suggest that animation movies can serve as an effective medium for teaching speaking skills, particularly in improving pronunciation and vocabulary acquisition. Consequently, the study concludes that incorporating animation movies into the learning process significantly boosts learners' speaking proficiency.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Administrasi dengan koneksi jaringan lokal area diharapkan mampu mengintegrasikan administrasi di pesantren dan madrasah sehingga lebih mudah, cepat dan raoi dalam pengaturan serta pelaporannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengupas tuntas tentang implementasi system informasi manajemen (SIM) dalam mendukung pembelajaran tahfidzul qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Abudzar Al-Ghifari Batanghari Lampung Timur. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Abudzar Al-Ghifari Batanghari Lampung Timur. Data yang digunakan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara responden dan pengamatan serta dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pendekatan wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode dan triangulasi teori. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan model Milles and Huberchman. Hasil analisis data pada judul ini menghasilkan pola berfikir yang dinyatakan oleh peneliti bahwa Implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dalam mendukung program tahfidzul qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Abudzar Al-Ghifari dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaranyang kreatif oleh guru, strategi kuantum dan dukungan moril serta materil oleh donator sehingga dapat meningkatkan hafalan santri dari segi kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

The cemetery as a place to store the body is a very important place for the Toraja community. In the past, the most widely used places as graves were in specially made stone burrows, in natural stone caves that were considered safe, in certain woods usually for the corpses of babies and partly buried in the ground. In modern times, many Toraja people choose to build a special place for burials called Patane with various considerations. Usually this place was built by one family and became a family cemetery. The size varies according to the wishes of the family concerned but on average is 4 x 6 m with a height of about 3 m. The location of the patane construction depends on the family's agreement and usually uses a place that is considered strategic or good. From the results of the research carried out, the growth of patane buildings is an average of two patane buildings built every year with an average building area of 33.63 m2 and using an average land area of 100.9 m2. The environmental impacts caused are: 1. Positive impacts, namely the location of a neat and well-organized patane building can become a tourist attraction and Because each patane building can accommodate many bodies, it can save land use for the cemetery (if all the bodies stored in the patane are buried in the ground). 2. Negative impact, namely the arrangement of the environment is not neat because the location of the patane development is not well organized because there are no rules about its construction and the reduction of productive strategic space of around 100.9 m2 every year. (compared to using stone burrows, erongs, and caves that use unproductive land).
