Abstract

AbstractThe study was conducted to examined and analyzed factors that affect non-performing finance in Islamic Rural Bank Industry in Indonesia. The study used quantitative approach with time series data in the form of Islamic Rural Bank financial report of the first quarter of 2007 to the second quarter of 2014. There were 163 Islamic Rural Banks used as sample which was analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The result indicated that Gross Domestic Product (GDP), inflation rate (INF), ratio of the revenue sharing to total financing (MMR), and margin murabahah affected NPF, whereas FDR had no effect to NPF of Islamic Rural Bank in Indonesia.

Abstract

Ramadan in the year of 2020 is the witness of global pandemic caused by the spread of Covid-19 that significantly alters human behaviors. In response to the current phenomenon, the present study is conducted to scrutinize how the holy month of Ramadan and global pandemic affect human religiosity and donating behaviors. To this end, this study employed a web-based questionnaire to gather the required data from 128 Indonesians who were voluntarily participated upon invitation. Using WarpPLS to analyze the data, the results showed that there was a significant influence of global pandemic situation and Ramadan on the level of religiosity. Moreover, the pandemic situation also encouraged the exist growth of donation institutions. This study further revealed the positive impact of the holy month of Ramadan and religiosity on human donating behaviors. In other words, Ramadan and global pandemic increased the level of human religiosity and the existence of donation institutions, as a results, their donating behaviors were also improved. However, this study found that the existence of donation institutions did not have any influence on human donating behaviors. These results offer an implication that Ramadan and global pandemic obviously provide a direct impact on religiosity and human donating behaviors.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out illustration and estimation of zakat potency as well as the amount of zakat collection in Indonesia. Furthermore, it aims to outline the diversity between potency and realization of zakat. It used quantitative descriptive approach through secondary data collection from several sources. The result shows both potency and realization of zakat collection in Indonesia were increasing during 2011-2015. However, the amount of zakat potency surpasses the amount of zakat realization with wide gap.It shows that the average amount of zakat collection on 2011-2015 is less than 1% compare to its potency. One of the possible reason is most of Indonesian prefer to distribute their zakat directly to the muzakki, hence it is unrecorded.

Abstract

Inequality is one of the problems in Indonesia that cannot be immediately resolved. This condition is exacerbated by the lifestyle of the people who tend to be consumerism, control of the economic sector which is only centered on a group of people and the limitations of the state in realizing its obligations as mandated in the 1945 Constitution. So an institution is needed to help accelerate government programs in alleviating vulnerable groups through programs such as empowerment. and economic assistance. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study method at the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in Mojokerto Regency. How to collect data using interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on this research, it was found that in protecting Vulnerable Groups the efforts made by BAZNAS Mojokerto Regency have so far been good, proven by the criteria for receiving BAZNAS assistance such as KKM, Mustahiq Consumptive, Mustahiq Criterion B, Mustahiq Criterion A. Meanwhile, in reducing gaps in the region Mojokerto BAZNAS Regency cannot be said to be able to reduce the current gap.

Abstract

This study examines zakat-based village empowerment. This research was conducted as a response to the less than optimal program of zakat institutions and at the same time as an alternative in empowering by focusing on the feasibility of villages as measured through the Zakat Village Index (IDZ). Eligibility is based on the economic dimension, the health dimension, the education dimension, the social and humanitarian dimension and the da'wah dimension. From these 5 (five) dimensions, the Zakat Village Index will be produced. This study uses a mixed method research method. The objects in this study are several villages in Sumenep Regency, which have received empowerment assistance and which have not received empowerment assistance from zakat institutions. The results in this study indicate that from calculating the village zakat index (IDZ) in Sumenep Regency. Of the 11 (eleven) villages that became the object of research, there are 3 (three) villages that believe Gadding Village with an IDZ index of 0.39, Gunung Kembar Village with an IDZ index of 0.39, Jebe'en Village which should be a priority in empowerment by zakat institutions. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji determinan Non Performing Financing (NPF) pada industri Bank Pembiayaan Rakyat (BPR) syariah di Indonesia. Data berupa laporan keuangan bank pembiayaan rakyat syariah dari triwulan I, tahun 2007 sampai triwulan II, tahun 2014. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 163 BPR syariah dari triwulan I, tahun 2007 sampai triwulan II, Tahun 2014 dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa variabel Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Tingkat Inflasi (INF), Rasio Pembiayaan Bagi Hasil terhadap Total Pembiayaan (MMR) dan Margin Murababah berpengaruh terhadap Non Performing Financing (NPF), sedangkan Financing to Deposit Ratio (LDR) tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

The Covid -19 pandemic disaster made many students choose to stay in Surabaya, East Java. Students need to eat and drink to carry on their lives and to fulfill these needs, students will have activities outside the home. Surabaya category which is in the red zone, the possibility of contracting the virus is very high. It is unfortunate if there are students who have contracted Covid-19 because they left their rented or boarding houses to shop to meet their daily needs. Therefore, it is necessary to have a PHBS Movement in activities outside the home to prevent the transmission of covid-19. The PHBS movement includes how to wash hands using soap and running water, use masks and social distancing. Activities are carried out in the form of seminars and socialization using social media. Another activity is the distribution of aid as a form of philanthropy to students affected by Covid-19. The results of the PKM implementation are expected to be able to prevent and minimize the spread of Covid - 19 among students.

Abstract
