Abstract

The purpose of this community service is as a community training activity on how to hill up and provide cow dung fertilizer for the growth and production of carrot plants (Daucus carotaL). This community service was carried out in Gunung Tua Panyabungan village in collaboration with lecturers from the Muhammadiyah University of South Tapanuli. This activity involved the Dos Niroha Gunung Tua Panyabungan Farmers Group. Carrot planting is a community service carried out using the method of surveying the location of rice fields in the Gunung Tua Panyabungan village area. By providing seeds to be planted and earthing up, the land is processed first. The provision of cow dung manure is processed first. Community service through extension plays a very important role in maintaining environmental sustainability by providing manure. Farmers realize that providing manure can reduce chemical use and is environmentally friendly. This training can improve the welfare of farmers and help the local economy.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to revitalize the educational function of majelis taklim as an effort to strengthen Islamic family law literacy among the community in Kecamatan Barumun. The main problems faced by the community were the low level of understanding regarding Islamic family law, particularly related to the rights and obligations of husbands and wives, marriage administration, family conflict resolution, protection of women and children, and inheritance distribution according to Islamic law. On the other hand, majelis taklim, which has traditionally served as a center for religious education in society, has not yet optimally carried out its educational function in the field of Islamic family law. The implementation method employed a participatory community empowerment approach through stages of socialization, needs identification, training, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. Educational activities were conducted through interactive lectures, group discussions, family case simulations, and community-based mentoring. The results showed an increase in community understanding of Islamic family law. Before the program implementation, 68% of participants were categorized as having a low level of understanding, while after the activities, 74% of participants reached a good level of understanding. Furthermore, the program succeeded in strengthening the educational function of majelis taklim through the development of thematic studies on Islamic family law and the application of more participatory learning methods. This community service activity demonstrates that majelis taklim has strategic potential as a community-based socio-religious educational medium in improving Islamic family law literacy and strengthening family resilience in rural communities.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan pengelolaan data secara digital menjadi semakin penting untuk mendukung kegiatan administrasi sekolah yang lebih efisien dan terorganisir. Metode penyimpanan konvensional menjadi kurang efektif karena memiliki keterbatasan dalam aspek keamanan dan pencadangan data. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi pengelolaan administrasi yang lebih modern dan kompetensi guru yang handal untuk dapat memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran dan pengarsipan data peserta didik. Hal tersebut menjadi latar belakang dalam pelaksanaan PKM ini. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan di TK Pertiwi XI Merauke. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan akun google (google drive).  10 dari 11 peserta kegiatan melaporkan dapat memanfaatkan akun google drive untuk kolaborasi dan penyimpanan data. Melalui PKM ini diketahui bahwa penguatan kompetensi guru melalui kegiatan pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan seperti penguasaan teknologi digital merupakan kebutuhan yang harus terus didukung.

Abstract

Penggunaan worksheet sebagai media pembelajaran pada Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) perlu dirancang secara kontekstual agar sesuai dengan karakteristik dan lingkungan peserta didik. Namun, hasil observasi di TK Pertiwi XI menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar worksheet yang digunakan belum mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal Papua. Selain itu, guru membutuhkan kemampuan penggunaan Canva dalam membuat worksheet secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam membuat worksheet AUD bermuatan kearifan lokal Papua berbantukan Canva. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif yang dipadukan dengan pendampingan praktik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, penyampaian materi, demonstrasi, praktik pembuatan worksheet, dan pendampingan. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 10 guru TK Pertiwi XI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru mengenai pentingnya integrasi kearifan lokal Papua dalam pembelajaran serta peningkatan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan Canva sebagai media desain pembelajaran. Seluruh peserta berhasil menghasilkan minimal satu worksheet yang memuat unsur budaya Papua, seperti pangan lokal, rumah adat, alat musik tradisional, serta fauna endemik Papua. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki tampilan visual yang lebih menarik, kontekstual, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal sekaligus mendukung penguatan identitas budaya dan pelestarian kearifan lokal Papua melalui PAUD.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance farmers’ knowledge, skills, and awareness in managing agricultural waste through the implementation of the Zero Waste Farming concept based on circular agriculture principles. The activity was conducted in Situmbaga Village, Angkola Selatan Sub-district, Tapanuli Selatan Regency, involving local farmer groups. The implementation method used a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach combined with technology transfer and demonstration plots (demplot), including socialization, training, hands-on practice, and continuous mentoring. The results showed an improvement in farmers’ understanding of agricultural waste utilization as a nutrient source, as indicated by pre-test and post-test evaluations. Farmers were also able to practice the production of solid organic fertilizer (compost) and liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) using local materials such as rice straw and crop residues. The application of organic fertilizers in demonstration plots showed better plant growth performance compared to before the implementation of the technology. In addition, this program encouraged a shift in farmers’ mindset from conventional farming systems to more environmentally friendly and economically valuable circular agricultural systems. Overall, the implementation of Zero Waste Farming proved effective in optimizing agricultural waste utilization while supporting sustainable agricultural development.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between marketing activities on TikTok and repurchase decisions at the "Kelana" coffee shop, an MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise). The evolution of social media has transformed TikTok from a mere source of entertainment into a promotional tool capable of capturing customer attention and fostering engagement. Amidst increasingly fierce competition in the coffee shop industry, digital marketing has emerged as a key strategy for retaining customers and encouraging repeat purchases. "Kelana" coffee shop utilizes TikTok to showcase its products, ambiance, and promotions, while also engaging with its audience. However, it remains unclear whether these marketing activities are linked to customer repurchase decisions. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relationship between TikTok marketing activities and repurchase decisions at "Kelana" coffee shop. The study focuses on two variables: marketing activities on TikTok and repurchase decisions. Marketing activities are assessed based on content format, posting consistency, and audience interaction. Meanwhile, repurchase decisions are evaluated based on customers' willingness to make repeat purchases and their continued preference for "Kelana" coffee shop. A quantitative research method employing a survey approach was used. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to "Kelana" coffee shop customers who had viewed or interacted with the business's TikTok account. The data were then analyzed using statistical techniques to determine the relationship between the variables. The findings are expected to serve as a basis for "Kelana" coffee shop to evaluate and develop more effective digital marketing strategies. Furthermore, this study aims to contribute to the body of knowledge regarding digital marketing and consumer behavior, specifically concerning the use of TikTok to drive customer repurchases.

Abstract

Micro-enterprises are a strategic sector that significantly contributes to economic growth and employment generation, particularly in tourism areas. However, most micro-enterprise owners continue to face challenges in financial management, including the absence of systematic financial reporting and the limited use of digital technology for recording business transactions. Similar issues were identified among micro-enterprises operating in the Aek Sijorni Tourism Area, South Tapanuli Regency, Indonesia. This article presents a simulated community service project aimed at enhancing the capacity of micro-enterprise owners through assistance in preparing financial statements using the SI APIK (Financial Information Recording Application System). The program adopted a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, consisting of needs assessment, financial literacy training, SI APIK application training, hands-on assistance in preparing financial statements, and monitoring and evaluation. In this simulation, the program involved 30 micro-enterprise owners. Program evaluation was conducted using pre-tests, post-tests, skills observation, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The illustrative results indicated that the participants' average score increased from 51.5 in the pre-test to 85.4 in the post-test, representing an improvement of 33.9 points. Participants' ability to use the SI APIK application improved from 43.2 to 88.4, while the overall satisfaction level reached 94%. The SI APIK-based mentoring program demonstrates the potential to enhance financial literacy, improve financial statement preparation in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM), and accelerate the digital transformation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This mentoring model has the potential to be replicated in other tourism destinations with similar socio-economic characteristics.
