Abstract

Efforts to empower the people of Parsalakan Village, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli have provided knowledge, awareness and full power to the people of Parsalakan Village, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli in achieving change to become a more independent society. This research uses qualitative methods, where the researcher is the key instrument. The data collection technique is carried out using triangulation (combination), the data is inductive, and the research results are focused on the core or meaning and not globally. Based on the place of implementation, this research is field research and literature. If viewed based on its use, this research is applied research. The research results show that creative economy-based community empowerment activities have gone through: 1) The creative economy-based community empowerment process is carried out through activities for making creative economy products in Parsalakan Village, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli, which includes implementation stages. 2) There is potential for natural resources, human resources and business potential in Parsalakan Village, West Angkola District, South Tapanuli, proven that the community is able to utilize and develop local potential. 3) By forming community groups, it will be easier to mobilize community empowerment, such as fishermen groups, GAPoktan, and others. 4) Community participation occurs by providing awareness. 5) Training has been provided, even in 1 year 4-5 times training. The hope is that after receiving training the results can be developed with their group friends.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a very important economic sector in Indonesia, and also in Padangsidimpuan City. According to data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, in 2020, the number of MSMEs in Indonesia reached 64.2 million business units, with a contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 60.34% and creating employment of 97.18 million people. However, despite its great potential, the MSME sector still faces various obstacles in developing its business, especially in increasing economic growth. One of these obstacles is the limited resources owned by MSMEs, both in terms of capital, labor, market access, technology, and so on. Padangsidimpuan City as one of the cities in North Sumatra Province has great potential in the development of MSMEs. One of the analytical methods that can be used to analyze the factors that influence the economic growth of MSMEs is the dynamic regression analysis model using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The urgency of the research is the increasing role of MSMEs as contributors to the economic growth of Indonesia and Padangsidimpuan City in particular. MSMEs are considered a strategic sector in economic development, especially in creating jobs and increasing the competitiveness of the national economy. However, MSMEs still experience obstacles in developing their businesses, especially in increasing economic growth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the economic growth of MSMEs in Padangsidimpuan City using the dynamic regression analysis model and the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. In addition, this study also aims to provide recommendations to the government and business actors in increasing the economic growth of MSMEs in Padangsidimpuan City.

Abstract

The community service aims to provide direct implications in the world of education. The community service is carried out through a direct learning process at school so that the implications can directly train children's social-emotional skills continuously. Each learning activity is adjusted to the derivation of each indicator of social emotional skills as an interconnected part. The results of the community service explain that innovative learning models can train children's social emotional skills holistically, and directly train 21st century skills.

Abstract

Laboratorium IPA menjadi sarana yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang menggunakan alat peraga di laboratorium bertujuan untuk menyampaikan materi praktikum atau pelajaran. Hasil observasi di beberapa sekolah di Kota Gorontalo menunjukkan guru-guru IPA masih memiliki keterampilan yang minim dalam dilakukan pengembangan dan pemanfaatan alat peraga biologi yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Hal ini seringkali menghambat kegiatan praktikum biologi, yang seharusnya menjadi bagian penting dalam memperdalam pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep ilmiah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13 November 2024, bertempat di Aula Dinas Pendidikan Kota Gorontalo. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh guru IPA dari berbagai SMP di Kota Gorontalo dan dilaksanakan secara tatap muka. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan keterampilan dasar dalam pengembangan dan pemanfaatan alat peraga biologi yang sederhana namun efektif, yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam kegiatan praktikum di kelas, sehingga siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami konsep-konsep biologi secara praktis.

Abstract

Education is the basis of student learning that goes through in achieving learning success. In the world of education, much has been done by teachers to change knowledge which is always monotonous and boring for students. Learning using learning techniques that only use lecture learning techniques makes students become bored and even do not understand the learning material that has been presented by the teacher. Learning that has one direction will only focus on learning for students. This will result in teachers without knowing the direction and goals of learning. Using strategies that actively involve students is expected to create better enthusiasm or motivation for learning.  The service carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Angkola Barat is expected to provide knowledge in advancing the world of education, especially teachers in carrying out teaching activities. By implementing learning using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model at SMP Negeri 1 Angkola Barat, it is hoped that teachers will be able to provide new knowledge and innovation for teachers in improving student learning and student learning outcome

Abstract

In the era of the digital economy, technological innovation plays an important role in improving the operational efficiency of companies. This is especially relevant in economic management, where technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and cloud computing can boost productivity, accelerate decision-making, and optimize resource allocation. This study aims to analyze the role of these technologies in economic management through a systematic literature review of research published in the last five years. Data searches were conducted through international journal databases such as ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and IEEE Xplore, which include articles related to automation, AI, big data analytics, and cloud computing. The results of the study show that the appropriate application of technology can increase efficiency, reduce costs, and provide competitive advantages for companies. However, the application of this technology also requires significant investment and organizational readiness, both in infrastructure and technical skills of the workforce. The implications of the results of this study indicate that the application of technological innovation is an urgent need for companies to remain relevant in an increasingly competitive market, but also requires an adaptive human resource development strategy. These findings contribute to the understanding of the role of technology in economic management and the importance of organizational readiness in its application.

Abstract

This research took place at the Padangsidimpuan City Regional Drinking Water Company. The aim that the researcher wants to achieve from the research is to find out how the service quality strategy at Padangsidimpuan  City's regional drinking water company improves service quality. This research uses a qualitative approach with the library study method. The data analysis used is qualitative analysis using data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The informants for this research were 5 people consisting of 2 librarians and 3 members of the general public. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and literature study. Based on data analysis of the results of interviews conducted by researchers, it was concluded that by using a combination method, namely online and manual, to improve the quality of consumer service, namely improving the quality of clean water that will be distributed to the community, improving the distribution system for consumers, so that clean water is distributed evenly. to all consumers in the Bontang city area, providing digitalized services to speed up the accessibility and responsiveness of services and trying to be friendly to consumers. However, there are still many obstacles and complaints from consumers/the wider community that the quality of the water supplied is still often cloudy or dirty and smells bad. Water is an indispensable need of society, so the quality of service must be prioritized and the quality of the water must also be maintained so that it is better over time. to time. Even though there are several deficiencies in both water quality and distribution which is often late, as long as water distribution to consumers continues, consumers still hope that the water quality will be better in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of digital marketing strategy assistance on MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) actors in North Padangsidimpuan District. Using a qualitative approach and action research method, the study involved 10 MSME actors who were given intensive training on digital marketing, including the use of social media, e-commerce platforms, and digital analytics tools. The results showed that after the training, there was a significant increase in the understanding of digital marketing among the MSME actors, with 100% of participants being able to use social media as a marketing tool. Additionally, most MSME actors reported a sales increase of up to 40% and successfully expanded their markets beyond the local area. However, challenges remain in content management and digital analytics, indicating the need for ongoing assistance. Overall, the findings suggest that digital marketing can enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs, but proper management and understanding of data analytics are crucial for long-term success.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of financial management training for brick industry entrepreneurs in Silandit Village. The training is designed to enhance entrepreneurs' understanding and skills in managing their business finances, including transaction recording, budget planning, and cash flow management. The results show that before the training, most entrepreneurs lacked an organized record-keeping system and struggled to create effective budget plans. After attending the training, 75% of participants started recording their financial transactions regularly, while 85% successfully developed more structured monthly budgets. Entrepreneurs also demonstrated improvements in managing cash flow and expenses. However, challenges in maintaining consistency in applying the learned financial management practices remain, requiring ongoing support. Overall, the training has had a positive impact on the financial management of brick entrepreneurs in Silandit Village and is expected to support the sustainability and growth of their businesses.
