Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Ummi Quran reading method on the ability to read the Qur'an of grade 5 students of MIN 1 Jombang. This type of research is quantitative research with a correlative approach. The data collection method is observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. While the data analysis uses a statistical method with the product moment correlation formula. The results of the study indicate that based on the product moment correlation analysis, the effectiveness of the Ummi Quran reading method has a correlation with the ability to read the Qur'an of grade 5 students with a correlation index (rxy) = 0.663 and is interpreted at a significant level of 5% = 0.2787, while at a level of 1% = 0.3610. Which means that rxy is greater than the significant level, then the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between the Effectiveness of the Ummi Quran Reading Method on the Ability to Read the Qur'an of Grade 5 Students of MIN 1 Jombang. Abstract

This paper raises a story which is the experience of a person's conversion from the religion he adhered to since childhood which has been passed down from generation to generation and appears with a new religion, namely Felix Siauw. Felix Siauw is a convert who is now an ustadz who is active in preaching. Felix Siauw's journey of hijrah as a form of religious conversion went through quite a long stage. He was in a phase of anxiety about the presence of God, then went through a phase of God's presence in his life, which ultimately led him to the stage of religious conversion until he joined a religious organization. In the process of his migration he was influenced by various factors which ultimately made him carry out a total religious conversion, including the factors of conflict, emotions, adolescence, and will. This paper aims to describe the phenomenon of Felix Siauw's migration in terms of religious conversion, both traditional and contemporary conversions. In this study, the authors used the literature study method both from book sources, journals, news, and videos that were relevant to the research object. Abstract

This study examines the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education Learning at SMA A. Wahid Hasyim 4 Gudo Jombang in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique is through interviews, observations and documentation, then analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education carried out at SMA A. Wahid Hasyim 4 Gudo Jombang is in accordance with the learning steps. The Islamic Religious Education learning process uses the lecture method, telling exemplary stories that can be taken from positive values ​​and using the question and answer method. Supporting factors are teachers, parents, the environment, information media and the existence of time discipline, student interest and facilities and infrastructure. While the inhibiting factors are limited time, lack of awareness in students, lack of ability to utilize cellphones for positive things, their environmental factors, lack of religious education in the family and parental attention and also lack of facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of Aqidah Akhlak Learning in Forming Student Morals at Fathul Huda Elementary School Grobogan Mojowarno Jombang. This type of research is a qualitative research that is descriptive in nature. The data collection technique uses interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique uses inductive, deductive and comparative methods. The results of this study based on observations and interviews conducted, show that madrasah students consistently behave in ways that reflect moral values, such as being polite, worshiping with discipline, and interacting with others with a good attitude. They also carry out religious activities such as Dhuha prayer, reciting the Aqidatul Awwam book, Tahlil and Istighosah. Aqidah akhlak education does not only focus on teaching theory, but also applies these values ​​in students' daily lives, in line with character education theories that emphasize the importance of integrating moral values ​​in the curriculum to form individuals who are noble and responsible. The obstacles experienced in students' learning of faith and morals are the influence of social interactions and the use of technology (cell phones). Abstract

This study aims to determine the right to receive education according to Islam. This study is a literature study (library research), with a psychological approach. Data collection uses a documentation method in the form of notes, transcripts, books, newspapers, magazines and so on. Data analysis uses a descriptive method with Reflective Thinking, namely a combination of two deductive and inductive methods. The results of the study show that in Islam the family education system is seen as a determinant of a child's future. So parents play a very important role and become the first and foremost educators for children which is a right that must be obtained by a child. Education for children begins during the process of forming a family until a sakinah family is formed. From this sakinah family, pious and pious children will be born. Therefore, families must be able to choose the right educational methods and materials that will be given to children, so that the goals of children's education, especially in forming pious children and being able to face increasingly complex future challenges, can be maximally successful. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Concept of Compassion and Advice in Seeking Knowledge (Analysis Study of QS. At-Thaha Verse 44 and the Book of Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim by Syaikh Az-Zarnuji). This study is a Library Research with a qualitative approach, taking the background of QS. Thaha Verse 44 and the Book of Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim by Az-Zarnuji. Data collection uses documentation methods in the form of books, scientific journals and e-books. While data analysis uses the inductive method. The results of the study show that: The concept of compassion and advice in seeking knowledge in QS. At-Thaha verse 44 from the perspective of Ibn Kathir's interpretation contains lessons and advice, which tells the story of Pharaoh at the peak of arrogance and pride, while the Prophet Moses was the chosen person of Allah SWT who was ordered not to speak to Pharaoh but to speak gently. In the Book of Talim Al-Muta'allim Imam Az-zarnuji conveys that a teacher must have a compassionate nature and always provide motivation in the form of advice to his students and a student must have good qualities far from bad qualities in seeking knowledge. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the process of religious character formation for students through the IPNU-IPPNU organization and what are the benefits of IPNU-IPPNU activities for students of MA Babussalam Mojoagung Jombang. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach with a case study type. The subjects in this study were the principal, IPNU-IPPNU mentor teachers, IPNU chairman, IPPNU chairman, and IPNU-IPPNU members of MA Babussalam Moljoagung Jombang. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. After the data was collected and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Triangulation model technique, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. This study succeeded in obtaining findings, namely the formation of religious character of students through the IPNU-IPPNU MA Babussalam organization is considered to be optimal. The process of forming religious character is carried out through collaboration between the IPNU-IPPNU organization and through the work programs that are made. Other programs/efforts carried out by schools in instilling religious character education in students are to get used to praying at the beginning and end of learning, pilgrimage, istighosah, tahlil, khatmil Al Qu'an and so on. Abstract

Studying the Al-Quran can improve abilities and habits that are commendable, therefore this research aims to find out the relationship between learning to read the Al-Qur'an. Quran by applying the tilawati method to build the character of students at SDN Dapurkejambon 3 Jombang This research is a quantitative research with variables of the tilawati method and character formation of students at SDN Dapurkejambin 3 Jombang. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires about character formation, then analyzing it to determine the influence of variable X on variable Y. Based on data analysis, the results obtained are (1) the application of the tilawati method at SDN Dapurkejambon 3 Jombang is in the good category (2) the tilawati method has a significant positive effect on the formation of student character with the result of the tilawati method variable (X) obtained t_count= 95.458 which is greater than t_tabel= 1,691, and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 Key word: Tilawati Method; The Character of Students

Abstract

Al-Qur'an merupakan sumber utama hukum Islam yang menjadi pedoman bagi umat Muslim dalam menjalani kehidupan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Al-Qur'an sebagai sumber utama hukum Islam dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan di era kontemporer. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis tematik terhadap ayat-ayat hukum yang relevan. Penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi metodologi penafsiran Al-Qur'an yang adaptif terhadap konteks zaman, tanpa mengabaikan prinsip-prinsip dasar syariah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an memiliki fleksibilitas untuk menjawab berbagai isu modern, seperti hak asasi manusia, keadilan gender, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Namun, hal ini memerlukan pemahaman yang mendalam dan pendekatan interpretatif yang responsif terhadap dinamika sosial. Kesimpulannya, Al-Qur'an tetap relevan sebagai sumber hukum utama dalam Islam, dengan syarat penginterpretasiannya dilakukan secara kontekstual dan inklusif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan kajian hukum Islam dalam menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat kontemporer

Abstract

Attempts to historicize the Koran have been carried out by many Muslim scholars through a set of nuzuli interpretations. In the same breath, the Western perspective gives rise to an analysis of historical hermeneutics, one of which is represented by the hermeneutical thought of Wilhelm Dilthey. This study examines the Historical Meeting Points of the Qur'an between Eastern and Western Scholars; Comparison between Muhammad Izzat Darwazah's nuzuli interpretation of thought and Wilhelm Dilthey's historical hermeneutics. Researchers used a qualitative approach based on literature studies. The results of the research show that there are several findings as follows: 1) there are six points of contact between Darwazah and Dilthey's thinking on aspects; orientation, object relations, methods of interpretation, deepening of concepts, involving elements of language, and foundation of application. 2) of the six points of contact, there are three points of similarity and three other points of difference which can still support each other in a more comprehensive historical interpretation structure. The results of these findings can at least serve as an introduction to reforming the historical-based interpretation of the Koran into an integrated methodology that is more scientifically integrative.
