Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in optimizing digital marketing strategies in start-ups. The research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods in several startup business sectors, such as e-commerce and fintech. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation analysis. The results show that the application of AI contributes significantly in five main aspects, namely: (1) personalization of services and user experience, (2) budget efficiency and campaign optimization, (3) increased interaction with customers through chatbots, (4) implementation challenges in the form of limited human resources, high initial investment costs, and data privacy issues, and (5) adaptation strategies carried out by companies through collaboration with AI service providers,  internal training, as well as gradual technology investment. These findings confirm that AI has become a strategic instrument for start-ups to increase competitiveness, although its application still faces various limitations. This research contributes to the digital marketing literature by emphasizing the importance of a balance between the use of technology and adaptive strategies that are appropriate to the conditions of startups.

Abstract

Technological developments in the Industry 4.0 era have driven significant digital transformation in various sectors, including human resource management. Electronic Human Resource Management (E-HRM) is a crucial innovation that enables integrated, digital-based HR management processes. This study aims to analyze the benefits, barriers, and optimization strategies for implementing E-HRM to improve organizational efficiency. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 70 selected articles from the Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases, with the PRISMA protocol applied in the literature selection process. The results show that implementing E-HRM can have a positive impact on organizational efficiency by accelerating administrative processes, saving operational costs, increasing data accuracy, and enabling faster, data-driven decision-making. However, several obstacles such as organizational cultural resistance, low digital literacy, limited technological infrastructure, and high initial implementation costs are challenges that need to be overcome. Recommended optimization strategies include ongoing digital literacy training, top management support, and the integration of artificial intelligence-based technology. These findings confirm that E-HRM can be a major catalyst in improving organizational efficiency and competitiveness in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed the competitive dynamics of global business, compelling firms to strategically integrate innovation and digitalization to sustain long-term growth. This study aims to analyze the role of innovation and digitalization in enhancing corporate competitive advantage within the digital economy era. Employing a qualitative descriptive design through a systematic literature review (SLR), the research examined 25 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 sourced from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Data were collected and filtered using PRISMA guidelines and analyzed thematically to identify recurring patterns and emerging insights. The findings indicate that innovation is a critical source of differentiation, enabling firms to create unique products, services, and business models, while digitalization strengthens efficiency, agility, and customer engagement. Moreover, the synergy between innovation and digitalization provides dynamic capabilities that allow firms to anticipate market changes and respond proactively. The discussion highlights that organizations integrating both elements outperform those adopting them separately, and that failing to embrace digital innovation increases the risk of market irrelevance. In conclusion, the study affirms that innovation and digitalization are complementary strategic levers that collectively sustain corporate competitiveness in the digital economy. This research contributes by bridging theoretical gaps and offering practical implications for firms across industries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial stress on the consumption and savings behavior of college students during the economic crisis. The research method used a quantitative approach with a survey technique using a questionnaire to 200 college students as respondents. Data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression tests to examine the relationship between variables. The results showed that financial stress had a positive and significant effect on college students' consumption behavior, while it had a negative and significant effect on savings behavior. These findings confirm that financial stress encourages increased consumption, both for primary needs and lifestyle, while simultaneously reducing students' ability to save. This study has important implications for college students, educational institutions, and policymakers regarding the need for financial literacy and personal financial management strategies amid the economic crisis.

Abstract

Horticultural farming plays a vital role in rural livelihoods and agricultural diversification, yet many smallholders struggle with low financial literacy and limited access to affordable credit, which constrains profitability. This study investigates the correlation between financial literacy and microcredit access on the profitability of horticultural farming enterprises. Using a quantitative correlational design, primary data were collected from 200 horticultural farmers through structured questionnaires covering financial literacy indicators, microcredit access, and profitability measures such as net profit margin, return on investment, and gross margin. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. The results show that financial literacy is strongly correlated with profitability (r = 0.63, p < 0.01), while microcredit access also exhibits a positive but weaker correlation (r = 0.42, p < 0.05). Regression analysis confirms both variables as significant predictors of profitability, with financial literacy (β = 0.46, p < 0.01) exerting greater influence compared to microcredit access (β = 0.28, p < 0.05). The model explains 51% of the variation in profitability, highlighting that credit provision alone is insufficient without adequate financial capability. This study concludes that financial literacy and microcredit access act as complementary enablers of farm profitability. Strengthening financial education alongside inclusive microcredit programs is therefore essential to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of horticultural enterprises.
