Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning mathematics with VBA Excel on student motivation and learning outcomes. The type of research used is experimental research with a quantitative approach. The sample selected in this study were 42 students from class VII MTs Tarbiyatul Qurro' Selagalas, Mataram City. The instruments used in this study were in the form of description questions and questionnaire instruments. The data analysis technique used is the T test. Before carrying out the T analysis, a prerequisite test must be carried out, namely reliability, homogeneity and normality tests.The results of the analysis of student learning outcomes data that have been carried out show values ​​> -4.601 and -1.729 because > = -4.610 > -1.729. For the analysis of student learning motivation, the results obtained were > -22.194 and -1.684. Because > = -22.194 > -1.684, H0 was rejected while H1 was accepted with a significant level of 5%, it means that there is mathematics learning on student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to improve self-regulated learning and mathematics learning outcomes for class VIII students at SMPN 4 Jonggat by applying the inquiry learning model. This research was conducted in two cycles, with research subjects in cycle I being 20 students and in cycle II being 17 students out of a total of 22 students. The application of the inquiry learning model to Circle material in class VIII shows an increase in self-regulation or learning independence and student learning outcomes. The research results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II, where the average self-regulated or independent learning of students in cycle I was 51.75 in the medium category, increasing to 76.24 in the good category in cycle II. In addition, the evaluation test results showed an average increase from 65.75 in cycle I to 87.95 in cycle II. Thus, the application of the inquiry learning model in the mathematics subject Circle material is effective in improving self-regulation or learning independence and the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 4 Jonggat.

Abstract

This research This research aims to produce a product in the form of valid, practical and effective media from GeoGebra-based learning media in increasing students' learning motivation and mathematical representation at SMA Negeri 1sheet. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE model. The population used in this research was class XI MIPA 3 students, namely 31 students with a total sample of 6 students. Research data was obtained using learning media validation questionnaires, validation of test instruments, teacher and student responses, as well as students' mathematical representation tests in the form of pre-test and post-test questions. Based on the assessment results from media experts and material experts, it shows that the media developed is included in the "Very Valid" criteria because it meets the requirements of media experts and material experts. The validity of learning media based on the results of media expert assessments is in the very good category with an average value of 43.5 and a percentage of 87%. The validity of the test instrument based on the results of the material expert's assessment is at very high criteria with an average of 43 and a percentage of 96%. The practicality of the learning media developed based on the results of teacher response questionnaire analysis is in very good criteria with an average score of 4.67 and a percentage of 93.33% and student responses are in very good criteria with an average score of 49.4 and a percentage of 98% . The effectiveness of the learning media developed based on limited trial activities with 6 students, obtained that students' classical completeness in answering post test questions after using the learning media was 84.72% with a KKM of 75. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that GeoGebra-based learning media is very valid , practical and effective in increasing students' learning motivation and mathematical representation at SMA Negeri 1 Lembar.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the problem-based learning model in an effort to improve conceptual understanding and student interest in learning among XI IPA 1 students at SMAN 1 Sambelia. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) based on the Kemmis & Mc. Taggart model, conducted in two cycles, involving 19 out of 30 students as subjects. Each cycle consists of three meetings; the first two meetings involve learning activities, while the third meeting involves evaluation. The data generated in this study includes qualitative data, specifically the results of student interest questionnaires in learning mathematics, and quantitative data, specifically the evaluation scores for students' conceptual understanding of mathematics. The implementation of the problem-based learning model on the topic of derivatives in XI IPS 1 class showed an increase in students' conceptual understanding and interest in learning mathematics. The results indicate an improvement from cycle I to cycle II, where the evaluation test scores for students' conceptual understanding in cycle I were 61.1, increasing to 76.1 in cycle II. Furthermore, the average student interest in learning in cycle I was 72%, categorized as high, which increased to 84%, categorized as very high, in cycle II. Thus, the application of the problem-based learning model in the mathematics subject on the topic of derivatives can enhance the conceptual understanding and interest in learning mathematics among XI IPS 1 students at SMAN 1 Sambelia

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' thinking processes based on the Wallas stage in solving mathematics problems in class VIII of SMPN 1 Pringgarata for the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The location of this research is at SMPN 1 Pringgarata. The subjects used in this research were 6 students who had high, medium and low categories based on their final semester test scores in mathematics. The instruments used in this research were 3 essay questions on two-variable linear equation systems in the form of story questions. Data collection techniques include giving tests, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research uses 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The research results showed that in the initial stage or preparation stage for S1 to S6 subjects showed an attitude of detachment, reflection, re-reading questions and remembering material that had been received previously so that all subjects reached the incubation indicators. the third stage is illumination where at this stage the subject finds ideas in solving the problem but the object cannot be completed correctly and completely because of errors in modeling it into a mathematical model, errors in calculating, the last stage is verification, where at this stage almost all subjects provide wrong answer and no student effort in correcting the wrong answer except subject S1, namely giving the correct answer to questions number 1 to 3.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the Inquiry Based Learning model which can increase interest and understanding of mathematical concepts in class X students at SMKN 1 Dompu. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK). This research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were 27 students. The research instruments used were interest questionnaires and test sheets. The results of research in cycle I showed that the students' learning Minar was in the Poor category with a percentage of 58.82% and students' conceptual understanding was in the Good Criteria with a completion percentage of 81.5%. Furthermore, in cycle II there was an increase in students' interest in learning to be in the Active category with a percentage of 64.78%, and students' understanding of concepts also increased to be in the Very Good Criteria by reaching a classical completion percentage of 90.92%. Thus, it can be concluded that through the application of the inquiry based learning model in mathematics learning, it can increase interest and understanding of concepts in class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Dompu. Abstract

 This research aims to describe the use of the problem based learning model in improving students' critical thinking disposition in mathematics in class XI at SMAN 1 Lingsar. The type of research used by researchers is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research are students in class XI IPA 3, totaling 35 students, consisting of 20 male students and 15 female students. . This research instrument uses evaluation sheets and observation sheets of teacher and student activities. The data collection technique in this research is by providing evaluation tests and classroom observations. The research results showed that the average student critical thinking disposition test results in cycle I was 76.90 and the average in cycle II was 78.6. Meanwhile, the percentage of classical completeness achieved in cycle I was 57.14% and the percentage of classical completeness in cycle II was 60%. From the detailed data for each cycle, it can be concluded that the critical thinking disposition with the application of the PBL model experienced a slight and significant increase.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dan keefektifan modul ajar berbasis project based leaning (PjBL) berorientasi Teaching At The Right Level (TaRL) dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Desiminate), yang dilakukan pada 30 siswa kelas X jurusan DKV SMKN 1 Ginungsari. Objek penelitian ini adalah modul ajar berbasis project based learning (PjBL) berorientasi teaching at the right level (TARL). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, angket dan tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket validasi ahli media, validasi ahli materi, angket respon guru dan siswa, angket motivasi belajar, dan tes. Dari hasil validasi ahli media dan hasil validasi ahli materi dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil angket menunjukkan respon guru dan siswa kriteria sangat Layak. Berdasarkan penyebaran angket motivasi belajar kepada siswa dengan kriteria tinggi dan hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang diperoleh skor dengan rata-rata 86.27 dengan nilai besar gain yaitu 0,751152 yang menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik meningkat. dengan demikian hasil rata rata siswa menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa meningkat. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) berorientasi Teaching At The Rigt Level (TaRL) dalam nnmeningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa pada materi permulaan dan deret aritmatika valid (sangat layak) digunakan.

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research is to improve self-efficacy and mathematics learning outcomes using the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative Method in Class VII A MTs Nurul Karim NW Kebon Ayu. This research is classroom action research (Action Research). The flow of activities for each cycle consists of 4 (four) components, namely: action plan (plan), implementation of action (action), observation and evaluation (observation/evaluation), and reflection (reflection). The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach. This research was carried out in semester 2 at MTs Nurul Karim NW Kebun Ayu. The subjects in this research were class VIIA students with 21 students including 13 male students and 8 female students. The research instruments used were questionnaires, observations and learning outcomes tests. Data collection techniques in this research are questionnaires, observation of test results and documentation. Data analysis in this research is self-efficacy, learning outcomes and observation. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in the percentage of student learning completeness from 42.85% in cycle I to 80.95% in cycle II, which means they had achieved classical indicators of success. Meanwhile, self-efficacy increased from the sufficient category in cycle I to the good category in cycle II. So it can be concluded that this research is said to be successful. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe how the application of contextual teaching and learning approach in improving students' mathematical connection ability at SMAN 1 Lingsar. This type of research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPA 1 SMAN 1 Lingsar which amounted to 37 people consisting of 20 women and 17 men. Data collection was done by using evaluation test (post-test) which includes indicators of students' mathematical connection ability, namely connections between mathematics topics and connections between mathematics in everyday life. The test results of students' mathematical connection ability in cycle I with a percentage of classical completeness of 51.72% and increased in cycle II by 65.62% which was measured using two indicators, so it can be said that there was an increase in students' mathematical connection ability from cycle I to cycle II. Although it did not meet the criteria for classical completeness of 70%, this research was stopped in cycle II due to time constraints and school conditions that had begun to carry out even semester final exams.Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning approach and mathematical connection ability
