Abstract

ENGLISH: Building Spiritual Intelligence within the Framework of Islamic Educational Philosophy: Reflections on the Lifestyle of Urban CommunitiesObjective: This study examines the development of spiritual intelligence among young people through the integration of three pillars: family, school, and community, and analyzes how collaboration between these elements forms a holistic model for spiritual development among urban youth in Yogyakarta. Method: Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature analysis, contextual observation, and conceptual review of spiritual education patterns in three main environments. Results: Effective spiritual guidance requires the internalization of religious values within the family, the strengthening of moral structures through school curricula and culture, and the expansion of spiritual experiences through socio-religious activities in the community. This integration improves adolescents' inner balance, reflective abilities, and psychological resilience in the face of urban pressures. Conclusion: This collaborative model not only produces individuals who are ritually devout but also spiritually mature and capable of making wise moral decisions. Contribution: This study provides a framework for spiritual guidance that can be applied by Islamic educational institutions, families, and local communities continuouslyINDONESIAN: Membangun Kecerdasan Spiritual dalam Bingkai Filsafat Pendidikan Islam: Refleksi atas Gaya Hidup mayarakat UrbanTujuan: Penelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan kecerdasan spiritual generasi muda melalui integrasi tiga pilar: keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat, serta menganalsisi bagaimana kolaborasi antarelemen tersebut membentuk model pembinaan spiritual yang holistik bagi remaja urban Yogyakarta. Metode: Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui analisis literatur, observasi kontekstual, dan telaah konseptual terhadap pola pendidikan spiritual di tiga lingkungan utama. Hasil: Pembinaan spiritual yang efektif membutuhkan kesinambungan internalisasi nilai religius dalam keluarga, penguatan struktur moral melalui kurikulum dan budaya sekolah, serta perluasan pengalaman spiritual melalui aktivitas sosial-keagamaan di masyarakat. Integrasi ini meningkatkan keseimbangan lahir–batin, kemampuan reflektif, dan ketahanan psikologis remaja menghadapi tekanan urban. Kesimpulan: Model kolaboratif ini tidak hanya menghasilkan individu yang taat secara ritual, tetapi juga matang secara spiritual dan mampu membuat keputusan moral secara bijaksana. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini menawarkan kerangka pembinaan spiritual yang dapat diterapkan oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam, keluarga, dan komunitas lokal secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

ENGLISHt: Exploring Innovation in Islamic Education through Audiovisual Media in Elementary Schools: A Case StudyObjective: This study aims to identify learning innovations that address students' problems in understanding learning materials at Nurul Ulum Elementary School in Surabaya. Method: This study employs a qualitative method, utilizing interviews and observation for data collection, and the Miles and Huberman model for data analysis. Results: Technological developments have facilitated access to audiovisual media in learning, such as YouTube, and increased the effectiveness of student learning. The role of educators in facilitating learning videos enables more effective and efficient use of learning resources. Conclusion: Learning innovations through audiovisual media at SD Nurul Ulum Surabaya have a positive impact on students' understanding of the material. Readily accessible technology, such as digital platforms and interactive applications, enhances learning effectiveness, with educators playing a crucial role in facilitating their use. Contribution: This research contributes to encouraging the adoption of audiovisual media in Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools, as well as providing insight for educators on the importance of integrating technology to improve learning effectiveness and efficiency.INDONESIAN: Eksplorasi Inovasi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam melalui Media Audiovisual di Sekolah Dasar: Sebuah Studi KasusTujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inovasi pembelajaran guna menjawab permasalahan siswa terkait pemahaman materi pembelajaran di SD Nurul Ulum Surabaya. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi, analsiis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil: Perkembangan teknologi mempermudah akses media audiovisual dalam pembelajaran, seperti YouTube, dan meningkatkan efektivitas belajar siswa. Peran pendidik dalam memfasilitasi video pembelajaran memungkinkan pemanfaatan sumber belajar secara lebih efektif dan efisien. Kesimpulan: Inovasi pembelajaran melalui media audiovisual di SD Nurul Ulum Surabaya menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman materi siswa. Teknologi yang mudah diakses, seperti platform digital dan aplikasi interaktif, meningkatkan efektivitas belajar, dengan peran pendidik yang penting dalam memfasilitasi penggunaan media ini. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam mendorong adopsi media audiovisual dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah dasar, serta memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik tentang pentingnya integrasi teknologi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pembelajaran.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Game-Based Learning Strategies to Improve Student Motivation in Islamic History (Tarikh) LearningObjective: This study aims to analyze the implementation of Game-Based Learning (GBL) strategies in enhancing student motivation in the Islamic History subject at SD Muhammadiyah 15 Surabaya. Method: The research employs a descriptive qualitative design, utilizing data collection techniques that include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Results: The use of GBL with Kahoot created an interactive learning environment, enhancing motivation, participation, and understanding of Islamic history. It also promoted critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. Despite challenges such as limited technology and varying student abilities, GBL effectively enhanced student motivation. Conclusion: The Game-Based Learning strategy can be an innovative alternative to create more engaging, meaningful, and character-strengthening Islamic History lessons. Contribution: This study makes a significant contribution to the development of creative and impactful teaching strategies in Islamic education, thereby promoting a more interactive and values-based learning experience.INDONESIAN: Strategi Game Based Learning dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa pada Pembelajaran Tarikh IslamTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan strategi Game-Based Learning (GBL) dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Islam di SD Muhammadiyah 15 Surabaya. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil: Penggunaan GBL dengan Kahoot menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif, meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi, dan pemahaman sejarah Islam. Model ini juga mempromosikan kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, dan kerja sama. Meskipun ada tantangan seperti keterbatasan teknologi dan perbedaan kemampuan siswa, GBL efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Kesimpulan: Strategi Game-Based Learning dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif untuk menciptakan pembelajaran Sejarah Islam yang lebih menarik, bermakna, dan memperkuat karakter siswa. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran kreatif dan berdampak dalam pendidikan Islam, yang mendukung pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan berbasis nilai

Abstract

ENGLISH: Islamic Religious Education from an Ontological Perspective: A Philosophical Study Objectives: This study examines the ontological foundations of Islamic Religious Education (IRE), focusing on the nature of reality, human existence, knowledge, and educational aims within Islamic philosophical thought. Methods: A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted by synthesizing academic works published between 2015 and 2025 through systematic identification, screening, and thematic analysis. Results: The study reveals that IRE rests on a theocentric worldview that positions God as the ultimate reality; views humans as holistic beings with physical, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions; and regards knowledge as originating from divine revelation, supported by reason and experience. This ontological orientation strengthens curriculum development, clarifies the educator’s moral-spiritual role, and promotes the integration of religious and scientific knowledge. Conclusion: Ontological principles offer a comprehensive philosophical foundation for redefining educational aims, methods, and teacher roles, while restoring moral and spiritual direction in education. Contribution: This research provides a conceptual overview of IRE’s ontological structure, serving as a foundation for curriculum reform, teacher capacity building, and integrative educational models rooted in Islamic metaphysicsINDONESIAN: Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Perspektif Ontologi: Sebuah Kajian Filosofis.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji landasan ontologis Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dengan menelaah hakikat realitas, keberadaan manusia, pengetahuan, dan tujuan pendidikan dalam perspektif filsafat Islam. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap publikasi ilmiah tahun 2015–2025 melalui proses identifikasi, seleksi, dan analisis tematik. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ontologi PAI berakar pada pandangan teosentris yang menempatkan Tuhan sebagai realitas tertinggi, manusia sebagai makhluk holistik, dan pengetahuan sebagai gabungan wahyu, akal, dan pengalaman. Pendekatan ini memperkuat kurikulum, peran pendidik, serta integrasi ilmu agama dan ilmu umum. Kesimpulan: Landasan ontologis memberikan kerangka filosofis komprehensif untuk merumuskan kembali tujuan, metode, dan struktur pendidikan Islam. Abstract

ENGLISH: Internalization of Hanifiyyah Values in Character Education for Students of Madrasah IbtidaiyahObjective: This study aims to explore the internalization of Hanifiyyah values rooted in pure monotheism, sincerity, simplicity, and the moral integrity of Prophet Ibrahim AS in character education at MIS Al-Huda Haur Wangi, Cianjur. Method: The research design employs a qualitative case study, involving research informants comprising the head of the madrasah, teachers, parents, and 100 students. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentary studies. Results: Hanifiyyah values are systematically integrated through routine practices (such as Sunnah prayers), teacher role modeling, and school policies. The majority of students showed significant improvement in honesty, worship discipline, and social awareness. Conclusion: A holistic and practice-oriented Hanifiyyah-based character education approach can be employed to cultivate students' noble character, particularly in Islamic schools. Contribution: This research presents a Hanifiyyah-based character education model as a philosophical-pedagogical framework that bridges the gap between abstract theological doctrine and pedagogical practice in instilling Islamic character education.INDONESIAN: Internalisasi Nilai-nilai Hanifiyyah dalam Pendidikan Karakter Siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.Tujuan:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi internalisasi nilai Hanifiyyah yang berakar pada tauhid murni, keikhlasan, kesederhanaan, dan integritas moral Nabi Ibrahim AS dalam pendidikan karakter di MIS Al-Huda Haur Wangi, Cianjur. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus-kualitatif, I informan penelitian terdiri dari kepala madrasah, guru, dan orang tua, serta melibatkan 100 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil: Nilai Hanifiyyah diintegrasikan secara sistematis melalui pembiasaan rutin (shalat Sunnah), keteladanan guru, dan kebijakan sekolah. Mayoritas siswa menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kejujuran, kedisiplinan ibadah, dan kepedulian sosial. Kesimpulan: Pendekatan pendidikan karakter berbasis Hanifiyyah yang holistik dan berorientasi praktik dapat digunakan dalam membentuk akhlak mulia siswa khususnya pada di sekolah berbasis islam. Kontribusi: Kontribusi penelitian ini menawarkan model pendidikan karakter berbasis Hanifiyyah sebagai kerangka filosofis-pedagogis antara doktrin teologis yang abstrak dan praktik pedagogis, dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter islam.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Implementation of Ubudiyyah Activities to Instill Religious Values in Santri (Students) at Islamic Boarding SchoolObjective: This study aims to describe the implementation of ubudiyah activities among female students at Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung and to analyze the factors that support and hinder the internalization of religious values. Method: This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model that included reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity reinforced through triangulation. Results: Ubudiyah activities are carried out in a structured manner through the habit of performing obligatory and sunnah worship, such as congregational prayers, tadarus, zikr, and dhuha prayers. Supporting factors include the exemplary behavior of the asatidzah, consistent supervision, and well-organized pesantren management. Obstacles include uneven student motivation and limited worship facilities. Conclusion: Ubudiyah activities play a strategic role in shaping the religious behavior of santri, although their effectiveness is influenced by motivation and the availability of facilities. Contribution: This research contributes to a theoretical and practical review of studies on Islamic education related to religious guidance strategies based on worship habits in Islamic boarding schools, focusing on instilling religious values in santri. Keywords: Ubudiyah activities; Islamic religious values; Students (Santri); Islamic boarding schoolINDONESIAN: Penerapan Kegiatan Ubudiyyah untuk Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Religius Santri di Pondok PesantrenTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan kegiatan ubudiyah pada santri putri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung serta menganalisis faktor pendukung dan penghambat internalisasi nilai religius. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan validitas diperkuat melalui triangulasi. Hasil: Kegiatan ubudiyah dilaksanakan secara terstruktur melalui pembiasaan ibadah wajib dan sunnah, seperti shalat berjamaah, tadarus, dzikir, dan shalat dhuha. Faktor pendukung mencakup keteladanan asatidzah, pengawasan konsisten, dan manajemen pesantren yang tertata. Hambatan meliputi motivasi santri yang belum merata serta keterbatasan sarana ibadah. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ubudiyah berperan strategis dalam membentuk perilaku religius santri, meskipun efektivitasnya dipengaruhi oleh motivasi dan fasilitas. Kontribusi: Kontribusi penelitian ini sebagai tinjauan teoritis dan praktis kajian kajian tentang pendidikan Islam terkait strategi pembinaan religius berbasis pembiasaan ibadah di pesantren dalam meenanamkan nilai-nilai religius santri.

ENGLISH: Revitalizing Local Moral Teachings: A Study of Islamic Educational Values in the Serat Wedhatama and Its Application for Students at Islamic Boarding SchoolsObjective: This research aims to examine the Islamic education values contained in Serat Wedhatama and its implementation in the learning process at Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat Lamongan. Method: The research design employs a case study approach, combining hermeneutic text analysis, observation, and interviews with teachers and students. Results: Serat Wedhatama contains values of faith, worship, and ethics that strengthen students' character. The learning process includes planning, conducting lessons twice a week using drill methods, lectures, and text analysis, followed by evaluation at the end of the session for students who have mastered the material. Conclusion: The existence of local literary works such as Serat Wedhatama is crucial in building character and religious identity for students based on Javanese culture, which remains relevant in modern life. Contribution: This research provides a theoretical foundation for the development of contextual Islamic education grounded in local culture, while also encouraging innovation in digital learning media to expand access and foster character development rooted in local traditions in the digital age.Abstract: Revitalisasi Ajaran Moral Lokal: Kajian Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Serat Wedhatama dan Pembelajarannya bagi Santri di Pondok PesantrenTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam yang terkandung dalam Serat Wedhatama dan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran di Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat Lamongan. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus, yang menggabungkan analisis hermeneutik teks, observasi, dan wawancara dengan guru dan santri. Hasil: Serat Wedhatama mengandung nilai keimanan, ibadah, dan akhlak yang memperkuat karakter santri. Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan merencanakan, melaksanakan dua kali seminggu menggunakan metode drill, ceramah, dan analisis teks, serta evaluasi di akhir pembelajaran untuk siswa yang telah menguasai materi. Kesimpulan: Keberadaan karya sastra lokal seperti Serat Wedhatama sangat vital dalam membangun karakter dan jati diri keagamaan siswa berbasis budaya Jawa yang relevan dengan kehidupan modern. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini memberikan landasan teori bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam kontekstual berbasis budaya lokal, sekaligus mendorong inovasi media pembelajaran digital untuk memperluas akses dan memperkuat pengembangan karakter berbasis tradisi lokal di era digital.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Digitalization of Islamic Religious Education Practices in Junior High SchoolsObjective: This study aims to analyse the forms of digitalisation access gaps in Islamic education, identify contributing factors, and formulate strategic solutions to overcome these limitations. Method: This study uses a qualitative, descriptive design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with school principals, Islamic education teachers, and students, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model. Results: There are three main dimensions of digital access gaps: infrastructure access gaps include unstable internet connectivity and an unfavourable device ratio; socio-economic access gaps reflect disparities in digital device ownership; and competency access gaps reveal Islamic education teachers' limited digital literacy in integrating technology into daily learning. Conclusion: The digital access gap creates digital stratification in Islamic education, potentially affecting the equality of learning opportunities for students. Contribution: This study provides evidence-based recommendations for strategic policies to achieve equitable digital access in suburban schools, particularly in Islamic education, which has unique characteristics in character and spiritual development. INDONESIAN: Digitalisasi Praktik Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMPTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk kesenjangan akses digitalisasi dalam pembelajaran PAI, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab, dan merumuskan solusi strategis untuk mengatasi keterbatasan tersebut. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru PAI, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles and Huberman. Hasil: Terdapat tiga dimensi utama kesenjangan akses digital: kesenjangan akses infrastruktur meliputi konektivitas internet tidak stabil dan rasio perangkat yang belum ideal, kesenjangan akses berbasis sosial-ekonomi mencerminkan disparitas kepemilikan perangkat digital, dan kesenjangan akses kompetensi menunjukkan keterbatasan literasi digital guru PAI dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pembelajaran sehari-hari. Kesimpulan: Kesenjangan akses digitalmenciptakan stratifikasi digital dalam pembelajaran PAI yang berpotensi mempengaruhi kesetaraan kesempatan belajar siswa. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi berbasis bukti untuk kebijakan strategis guna mencapai pemerataan akses digital di sekolah pinggiran, khususnya dalam pembelajaran PAI yang memiliki karakteristik unik dalam pembentukan karakter dan spiritualitas

Abstract

ENGLISH: Impact of Tahfidz Learning Management and Learning Environment on Tahfidz Learning Motivation among Madrasah Tsanawiyah StudentsObjective: This study aims to determine the effect of Tahfidz learning management and learning environment on students' motivation to learn Tahfidz at MTsN 2 Agam. Method: This study employs a quantitative method, utilizing multiple regression analysis, to investigate the relationship and effect between variables. Results: The TAHFIDZ learning management system has a significant effect on student learning motivation, such that the better the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Tahfidz, the higher the students' motivation in memorizing the Qur'an. Conclusion: Both variables, Tahfidz learning management and learning environment, have an essential contribution in increasing student learning motivation. Contribution: This study provides input for teachers, madrasahs, and policymakers to enhance the management of Tahfidz programs and create a more supportive learning environment, thereby improving the quality of students' memorization.INDONESIAN: Pengaruh Manajemen Pembelajaran Tahfidz dan Lingkungan Belajar terhadap Motivasi Belajar Tahfidz Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh manajemen pembelajaran tahfidz dan lingkungan belajar terhadap motivasi belajar tahfidz siswa di MTsN 2 Agam. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan dan pengaruh antarvariabel. Hasil: Manajemen pembelajaran tahfidz berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga semakin baik perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi tahfidz, semakin tinggi motivasi siswa dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an. Kesimpulan: Kedua variabel, baik manajemen pembelajaran tahfidz maupun lingkungan belajar, memiliki kontribusi penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini memberikan masukan bagi guru, madrasah, dan pemangku kebijakan untuk memperbaiki pengelolaan program tahfidz dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih mendukung demi peningkatan kualitas hafalan siswa.

Abstract

ENGLISH: Application of the Snowball Throwing Learning Model on the Topic of Drawing Closer to Allah SWT through Asmaul HusnaObjective: This study aims to describe the process of applying the Snowball Throwing learning model to the material “Close to Allah SWT through Asmaul Husna” and to examine its strengths and weaknesses. Method: This study uses a descriptive-qualitative method. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, with analysis carried out through data reduction, presentation of results, and drawing of conclusions. Results: The Snowball Throwing learning model enhances student participation, understanding, and learning outcomes, while also fostering a sense of responsibility, cooperation, and mutual respect. Challenges such as time constraints and method adjustments can be overcome with effective classroom management and teacher guidance. Conclusion: The Snowball Throwing learning model can increase student engagement and understanding of Asmaul Husna, as well as strengthen positive social interactions. Contribution: This study contributes to the development of more engaging and interactive learning methods in Islamic Education, providing insights into the use of the Snowball Throwing model as an innovative approach to improve cognitive and social outcomes in the classroom. INDONESIAN: Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada Materi Dekat dengan Allah SWT melalui Asmaul HusnaTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada materi "Dekat dengan Allah SWT melalui Asmaul Husna" serta menelaah keunggulan dan kelemahannya. Metode: Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitastif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, analisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian hasil, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil: Model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing meningkatkan partisipasi, pemahaman, dan hasil belajar siswa, serta menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab, kerjasama, dan saling menghormati. Tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu dan penyesuaian metode dapat diatasi dengan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif dan bimbingan guru. Kesimpulan: Model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan pemahaman Asmaul Husna, serta memperkuat interaksi sosial yang positif. Kontribusi: Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif dalam pendidikan PAI, serta memberikan wawasan tentang penggunaan model Snowball Throwing sebagai model inovatif untuk meningkatkan hasil kognitif dan sosial di kelas.
