Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of online attendance on employee work discipline at the Tamalate sub-district office, Makassar City. The object of this research is the Tamalate sub-district office, Makassar City. In this research, the method used by the author is a quantitative method. The sample in this research is all State Civil Apparatus Staff in the Tamalate District Head's office who are also 80 respondents. The results of this research have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence of the Online Attendance variable (X) on the Work Discipline variable (Y), meaning that by implementing good online attendance, employee work discipline will also be good.

Abstract

The condition of fishing settlements in the coastal area of Makassar City, particularly Kampung Nelayan Untia, reflects challenges similar to those faced in various urban areas across Indonesia. Kampung Untia, constructed to accommodate fishermen relocated from Lae-Lae Island due to the development of the island as a tourism area, is located only 50 meters from the high tide line, posing significant risks to residents' safety. Although the government, through the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), has planned the development of a 10-hectare area with basic infrastructure such as clean water supply and sanitation systems, its implementation remains suboptimal. The settlement also fails to meet the standards set by the Indonesian Minister of Public Housing Regulation No. 15/Permen/M/2006, regarding essential facilities such as docks and boat moorings. Field observations reveal that the area is vulnerable to natural disasters such as tornadoes, seawater intrusion, coastal erosion, and ground fissures, indicating non-compliance with Presidential Regulation No. 51 of 2016 on coastal area protection. This study employs a qualitative approach using primary data from field surveys and interviews, as well as secondary data from documents and relevant journals. The findings highlight the need for a disaster mitigation approach in the development of Kampung Nelayan Untia to create a safe and sustainable coastal settlement.

Abstract

In competitive business competition, companies need advantages to survive and succeed in the market. This advantage can encourage consumers to increase consumer buying interest. This research aims to determine the influence of packaging design and product variations on consumer buying interest. This type of research is explanatory research which explains cause and effect relationships between variables through hypothesis testing. This research used a sample of 75 respondents who live in Makassar City.  The sampling technique uses random sampling. The data analysis method in this research uses instrument tests, classical assumption tests, and linear regression analysis.  The results of this research show that packaging design has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Interest. Product variety has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Interest. Simultaneously, packaging design and product variations have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Interest.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' perceptions of using the ChatGPT application to support learning in the digital era. The research method used was qualitative, data was collected through interviews with 10 students and 2 lecturers in the educational technology study program. The research results show that the majority of students have a positive perception of using ChatGPT as a learning aid. They appreciate this application's ability to provide fast and accurate answers and help in understanding difficult material. However, some students expressed concerns regarding over-reliance on this technology and the potential for reducing student interaction in the learning process.

Billions of chicken feather waste scattered in our neighborhood have not been utilized properly. This research is related to the processing and utilization of chicken feather waste into alternative materials in the field of architecture and can be utilized by the wider community. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence customer interest in choosing Wadiah savings products at Bank DKI Syariah KCP Matraman. The research method used is a qualitative approach by distributing questionnaires to customers who have Wadiah savings. The factors studied include understanding sharia principles, level of trust, ease of access to services, and promotions carried out by banks. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple linear regression to identify the most dominant factors influencing customer decisions. The research results show that the level of trust and understanding of sharia principles has a significant influence on customer interest, while ease of service access and promotions have a lower influence. These findings provide recommendations to Bank DKI Syariah to further improve education related to sharia principles and strengthen customer trust as the main strategy in increasing interest in Wadiah products.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the level of public understanding of the Home Ownership Loan (KPR) products offered by Bank DKI Syariah KCP Matraman. Given the importance of a good understanding of sharia mortgage products, this study focuses on aspects that affect people's understanding, such as knowledge of sharia principles, product benefits, and the mortgage application process. Data was collected through a survey involving respondents from the community around KCP Matraman, who have or have the potential to use sharia mortgage products. The results of the study show that the level of public understanding of sharia mortgage products at Bank DKI Syariah KCP Matraman is at a moderate level, with several factors such as ineffective socialization and low Islamic financial literacy being the main obstacles. These findings indicate the need to increase education and socialization about sharia mortgage products to increase public understanding, which is ultimately expected to increase interest and use of these products

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The objectives of this research are: (1) To determine the process of self- disclosure in clients during the implementation of counseling at PUSPAGA, South Sulawesi province; (2) To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for clients to carry out self-disclosure to counselors at PUSPAGA South Sulawesi province. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection techniques through observation and in-depth interviews with 2 counselors and 4 clients at PUSPAGA South Sulawesi Province. This method provides in-depth insight into the process of self-disclosure as well as the supporters and obstacles to client self-disclosure to counselors at PUSPAGA South Sulawesi Province. The research results show that (1) the self-disclosure process helps counselors understand the client's psychological condition more deeply, so that the intervention provided is more effective. The stages of therapeutic communication, such as pre-interaction, orientation, work, and termination, support the client's openness to the counselor and create a safe and empathetic environment. (2) Supporting factors for self-disclosure include client anxiety and the need to understand oneself, while inhibiting factors include distrust and social norms. In the context of interpersonal communication, counselors have an important role in overcoming these obstacles through a supportive approach and building a relationship of mutual trust, so that effective and therapeutic communication can be achieved. Abstract

Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa bentuk stres kerja yang dialami karyawan meliputi kelelahan fisik, gangguan tidur, ketegangan emosional, serta penurunan konsentrasi. Faktor penyebab utama stres kerja antara lain beban kerja berlebih, target penjualan yang tinggi, konflik antar karyawan, dan kurangnya pengaturan waktu kerja. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, owner menerapkan beberapa strategi manajemen stres, yaitu komunikasi terbuka, pembagian beban kerja yang seimbang, pemberian motivasi dan penghargaan, serta pelatihan manajemen waktu. Strategi ini terbukti membantu karyawan mengembangkan mekanisme koping yang lebih adaptif dan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya literatur mengenai manajemen stres pada sektor ritel kecil, khususnya dalam konteks sosial budaya perkotaan di Makassar. Secara praktis, temuan ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan struktural dan emosional dari pemilik usaha untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang sehat. Implikasi kebijakan yang muncul adalah perlunya perhatian lebih pada regulasi internal terkait keseimbangan beban kerja di usaha ritel. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk memperluas cakupan ke berbagai sektor ritel lain guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

Buah semangka memiliki banyak manfaat, seperti zat antioksidan yang baik bagi kulit, dapat merangsang hormon dalam otak untuk mengatasi kecemasan, meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh serta dapat melawan infeksi. Buah semangka memiliki kadar air yang tinggi sehingga tidak dapat bertahan lama olehnya itu perlu pengolahan sari buah semangka dibuat menjadi minuman serbuk instan agar memiliki daya simpan lebih lama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan krimer terhadap kadar air, kadar gula, dan uji organoleptik yang dihasilkan dari minuman serbuk instan sari buah semangka. Perlakuan penelitian ini yaitu penambahan krimer dengan konsentrasi (5%, 10%, 15%, dan 20%). Analisis data menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat taraf perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan, kemudian dianalisis uji Anova dan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil. Hasil perlakuan terbaik yaitu penambahan krimer 20% ditinjau dari aroma (khas semangka dengan susu dari krimer) 4,19 (sangat suka) dan penambahan krimer 15% ditinjau dari citarasa (manis) 4,24 (suka). Kandungan kadar air minuman serbuk instan sari buah semangka yaitu berkisar 4,82%-5,4% belum memenuhi syarat menurut SNI 01-4320-2004 minuman serbuk karena melebihi 5%. Sedangkan kadar gula pada minuman serbuk instan sari buah semangka telah memenuhi syarat SNI 01-4320-2004 minuman serbuk yaitu 41%-43% karena tidak melebihi 60%.
