Abstract

Hospitalization is a treatment performed in a hospital and can cause trauma and stress to patients who have recently been hospitalized. This is an experimental research with a quasi-experimental design and a pre-test- post-test approach. The population in this study were 62 cases using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the average level of anxiety before giving puzzle therapy was 4.94, the lowest score was 4 and the highest was 6. The average level of anxiety after giving puzzle therapy was 2.6 with the lowest score being 1 and the highest being 3. The results of the statistical test obtained a p value of 0.001, so there was an effect of giving puzzle play therapy on the level of anxiety in preschoolers (4- 5 years) during hospitalization. It is suggested that the hospital can provide health information about the benefits of playing puzzle therapy to the community as a way to reduce anxiety levels in children in patients without side effects

Abstract

The results of this study found that the training was effective and influential in increasing self-efficacy, with a Wilcoxon Z value = -2.673 (p <0.05) and a Mann Whitney value = 52.5 (p <0.05). The average self-efficacy in the experimental group (M = 19.5) was higher than in the control group (M = 11.5). This training is also effective in increasing achievement goal orientation academic with Wilcoxon Z value = -3.126 ( p < 0.01) and Mann Whitney value = 23.5 (p < 0.01). ). The average Achievement goal orientation academic in the experimental group (M = 21.43) is higher than the control group (M = 9.57). However, there is no effect of training on public speaking anxiety in students, with Wilcoxon Z value = -1.915 ( p = 0.056 > 0.05) and Mann Whitney value = 76.5 ( p = 0.135 > 0.05). So, the training has a significant effect on increasing self-efficacy and achievement goal orientation academic students, but is not effective in reducing public speaking anxiety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman dokter yang memiliki anak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme (ASD) dalam proses mendapatkan diagnosis dan terapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga orang dokter yang memiliki anak dengan ASD. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan untuk menyelidiki pengalaman, tantangan, dan strategi mereka dalam mendapatkan diagnosis dan terapi yang akurat bagi anak-anak mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun memiliki pengetahuan medis yang memadai, pengalaman pribadi mereka sebagai orang tua dari anak-anak dengan ASD menghadirkan banyak kendala dan tantangan dalam mendapatkan diagnosis dan terapi. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tujuh tema: pengetahuan tentang autisme, kecurigaan autisme, mencari diagnosis dan terapi tanpa diagnosis formal, mekanisme koping dan ketahanan, terapi integrasi sensori (SI), terapi okupasi (OT), terapi wicara (TW), dan hasilnya, terapi Smart ABA dan Smart BIT dan hasilnya, serta sekolah reguler. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan baru dan penting tentang perlunya pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang diagnosis dan terapi autisme di kalangan dokter. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberi kontribusi pada ilmu pengetahuan di bidang autisme, khususnya bagi para profesional medis.

Abstract

Cyberbullying has become a serious threat to the mental health of adolescents in the digital era. Its impacts include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and the risk of deviant behavior. A counseling approach based on the values of the Qur'an offers an alternative solution to address these issues through Islamic principles such as compassion (rahmah), wisdom (hikmah), and counsel (mau‘izhah). This study aims to analyze the role of integrating Qur'anic values in counseling to enhance the mental health of adolescents who are victims of cyberbullying. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and phenomenological analysis of relevant Qur'anic verses and the literature on mental health in Islam. The findings indicate that a Qur'an-based counseling approach can help adolescents develop resilience, cope with emotional stress, and build a strong Islamic identity. Therefore, this approach can serve as a practical guide for Islamic counselors in addressing the mental health issues of adolescents.

Abstract

Pengungkapan diri atau self-disclosure adalah komunikasi mengenai informasi diri individu yang secara aktif disembunyikan akan diungkapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh malu terhadap self-disclosure di media sosial pada remaja muslim yang dimediasi oleh kontrol diri. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja muslim dari siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri yang ada di kota Pekanbaru kelas X-XII yang menggunakan media sosial. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah convenience sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 410. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga alat ukur yaitu: skala Al-Haya’ scale, Self-control dan Self-disclosure yang diberikan secara online pada siswa melalui guru Bimbingan Konseling setiap sekolah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis mediator, dengan bantuan program JAMOVI. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa malu tidak mempengaruhi self-disclosure melalui self- control. Adanya malu pada remaja dapat mempengaruhi self-disclosure dalam arah yang positif, kecuali pada dimensi banyaknya informasi yang diberikan. Selain itu, dari penelitian ini juga diketahui bahwa malu mempengaruhi self-control, namun self-control tidak mempengaruhi self-disclosure.

Abstract

Independent toilet skills are basic skills that must be mastered by every child, including children with autism spectrum (ASD). This skill begins with toilet training. However, toilet training for ASD children is a challenge in itself. Children with ASD have developmental disorders that impact many aspects of their lives, including toilet training skills. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Smart ABA (Smart Applied Behavior Analysis) Method on the toilet training ability of ASD children. Smart ABA is a development of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This study uses an experimental method with a single research subject design and data analysis using visual graphs. The subjects of this study are two children with ASD, a boy aged 5 years and 7 years. The parents of the subjects were included in this study. The Smart ABA therapists who trained the subjects in this study have fulfilled their competencies as Smart ABA therapists. The most important finding of this study was the success of both subjects in daytime toilet training within 43 to 67 days.  These findings show the effectiveness of the Smart ABA method in achieving independence in toilet skills for ASD children. The results of this study will provide an in-depth understanding for parents of children with ASD, therapists, professionals, and doctors in the management of toilet training. The results of this study make an important scientific contribution to independent toilet skills in children with ASD. The stages of self-toilet skills using Smart ABA are discussed.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Organizational Resilience on Sustained Competitive Advantage, with Crisis Management as a mediating variable in the context of private universities in Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach, data were analyzed using path analysis to test the relationships between variables. The findings indicate that Organizational Resilience has a direct effect on Sustained Competitive Advantage (β = 0.0897, Z = 1.94, p = 0.052), though the effect is marginally significant. Organizational Resilience also significantly influences Crisis Management (β = 0.5402, Z = 14.17, p < 0.001), and Crisis Management significantly affects Sustained Competitive Advantage (β = 0.3489, Z = 6.81, p < 0.001). The mediating effect of Crisis Management is significant (Indirect Effect = 0.1885, Z = 6.14, p < 0.001; Total Effect = 0.2781, Z = 7.07, p < 0.001), indicating partial mediation. These results suggest that Organizational Resilience supports Sustained Competitive Advantage both directly and indirectly through effective Crisis Management. This study contributes theoretically to understanding the dynamics of organizational resilience in the Indonesian higher education sector and offers practical recommendations for private universities to enhance competitiveness through systematic crisis management strategies amid global disruptions and competition with state universities.

Abstract

Nomophobia, a modern psychological issue characterized by fear or anxiety when unable to access mobile phones, has become increasingly prevalent among university students. This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and self-control with nomophobia among undergraduate students. The research employed a quantitative correlational design with incidental sampling, involving 150 undergraduate students enrolled between 2021 and 2024. Data were collected through online questionnaires using three measurement scales, the Nomophobia Scale, the Social Support Scale, and the Self-Control Scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the overall model was significant (p = 0.00), indicating that social support and self-control jointly influence nomophobia. However, social support was not a significant predictor of nomophobia (t = 1.074; p = 0.285), whereas self-control demonstrated a significant negative relationship with nomophobia (t = −3.965; p = 0.000). In terms of effective contribution, self-control accounted for 9.5% of the variance in nomophobia, and social support contributed only 0.6%. In conclusion, the findings suggest that students with higher self-control tend to experience lower levels of nomophobia. These results imply the importance of developing self-regulation skills in educational settings to mitigate the risks associated with excessive mobile phone dependence.

Abstract

Perubahan organisasi seringkali menimbulkan ketidakpastian yang dapat berdampak pada kondisi psikologis karyawan, terutama apabila tidak dikelola secara transparan. Kurangnya transparansi dalam manajemen perubahan berpotensi memunculkan kecemasan, ketidaknyamanan kerja, serta penurunan subjective well-being karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan psikologi berbasis transparansi dalam manajemen perubahan serta perannya dalam meningkatkan subjective well-being karyawan di Perumda Tirta Musi Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian adalah karyawan yang terlibat langsung dalam proses perubahan organisasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterbukaan informasi, komunikasi yang terbuka antara pimpinan dan karyawan, serta pelibatan karyawan dalam proses perubahan berkontribusi positif terhadap rasa aman psikologis, kepuasan kerja, dan subjective well-being karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan manajemen perubahan yang transparan dan humanis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pengaruh toxic online disinhibition terhadap perilaku hate speech serta menguji self-control sebagai moderasi dalam pengaruh toxic online disinhibition terhadap perilaku hate speech  pada pengguna media sosial dari  Generasi Z yang menggunakan analisis SEM-PLS dan mengumpulkan data dari 215 responden Generasi Z. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrument penelitian menggunakan  skala hate speech dengan Cronbach alpha 0.923, toxic online disinhibition  dengan Cronbach alpha 0.820 skala self-control dengan Cronbach alpha 0.81. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif serta signifikan pengaruh toxic online disinhibition terhadap perilaku hate speech dengan nilai signifikansi  0.000 (p-value <0.05). Semakin tinggi tingkat disinhibisi individu di media sosial, maka semakin besar kecenderungan individu untuk mengekspresikan komunikasi agresif seperti penghinaan, provokasi, maupun hate speech di media sosial. Selanjutnya, self-control juga terbukti berperan sebagai moderasi dalam pengaruh toxic online disinhibition terhadap hate speech dengan nilai signifikansi 0.036 (p-value <0.05) dengan R2 kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 0.45 (45%). Dari penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa self-control yang tinggi justru memperkuat pengaruh toxic online disinhibition dan hate speech. Hasil studi memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami bahwa self-control tidak selalu berfungsi sebagai penghambat perilaku agresif di media sosial.
