Abstract

Untuk mewujudkan visi, misi, dan tujuan sebuah perguruan tinggi diperlukan sumber daya manusia yang solid berupa tim kerja. Selain dibutuhkan kemampuan individu tim dalam berkomunikasi, berkolaborasi, dan bertoleransi juga dibutuhkan kemampuan berupa perilaku extra-role yang dikenal dengan istilah  organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), hal ini sangat menentukan efektifitas dan efisiensi tim kerja serta merupakan aset berharga bagi keberlangsungan hidup organisasi. Menurut akar sejarahnya, OCB adalah suatu bentuk perilaku kooperatif, inovatif, dan spontan sebagai suatu bentuk perilaku kerelaan invidu di luar peran kerja yang di persyaratkan dalam menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan. Kepribadian dan Kepuasan Kerja adalah faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi OCB. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh kepribadian dan kepuasan kerja terhadap OCB. Metode penelitian berupa metode kuantitatif, survey, dan asosiatif dengan responden tenaga kependidikan yang berstatus pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) di Universitas Negeri Padang, secara simple random sampling. Dari analisis struktural eqution model (SEM) berbasis partial least square (PLS) disimpulkan bahwa kepribadian berpengaruh positif dan signifikan serta berefek kuat terhadap OCB. Sedangkan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan serta berefek sedang terhadap OCB.

Abstract

Adaptasi Bahasa Dan Budaya Skala Kentucky Inventarisasi Keterampilan Mindfulness . Kentucky Inventory of Mindfulness Skills (KIMS) merupakan skala multidimensi yang menjelaskan bahwa mindfulness adalah konstruksi multifaset yang mencakup beberapa keterampilan, yaitu Mengamati, Mendeskripsikan, Bertindak dengan kesadaran, dan Menerima tanpa menghakimi. Tujuan dari adaptasi skala KIMS adalah untuk memaastikan validitas dan reliabilitas agar lebih efektif dan akurat jika digunakan dalam budaya Inonesia. Proses Adaptasi dimulai dari mempersiapkan skala hingga pengukuran psikometri untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari KIMS bahasa Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja dengan sampel 349 orang yang berstatus mahasiswa S1. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling merupakan teknik yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan pemilihan sampel secara bebas. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah model rasch. Hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa nilai alpha Cronbach sebesar 0,88, Nilai koefisien reliabilitas item mencapai 0,99 dan nilai koefisien reliabilitas person sebesar 0,87. Nilai alpha ini menjadi indikator reliabilitas untuk mengukur interaksi antara responden dan item secara keseluruhan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa skala ini mampu menghasilkan skor pengukuran yang konsisten dan dapat diandalkan.

Abstract

The short version Grit-Scale was validated in Indonesia when 2019 by testing internal validity using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) only on the sampled instrument. Suppose an instrument test is only focused on testing internal validity. In that case, it is inevitable that the research only meets the slight evidence of instrument validity recommended by institutions recognized by the science of Education and Psychology. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of Grit-S by combining two validity methods, namely internal and external validity testing. The research participants consisted of 450 students from various universities and faculties in Indonesia, aged 17 to 25 years, which were obtained by convenience sampling. The findings in this study prove that the Indonesian version of Grit-S is a reliable instrument, the excellent factor structure is the two-factor model, it meets the criteria of external validity where the Indonesian version of Grit-S converges when tested with self-esteem and life satisfaction scales, as well as all the Indonesian version of Grit-S items does not indicate gender bias. The Indonesian version of Grit-S is very feasible and allows it to be used for research in the fields of Education and Psychology in Indonesia

Abstract

Hubungan Father Involvement dengan Quarter Life Crisis pada dewasa awal di Kota Padang. Dewasa awal merupakan masa transisi dari remaja menuju dewasa, yang dimana pada masa ini individu dihadapkan dengan banyak hal baru dan mulai mengalami perubahan yang signifikan di dalam hidupnya. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui hubungan father involvement dengan quarter life crisis pada dewasa awal di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantatif korelasional dengan teknik analisis Product Moment. Sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 225 orang yang diperoleh berdasarkan teknik non-probability sampling melalui metode cluster sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur Father Involvement yang disusun oleh Indira (2021) dan Quarter Life Crisis yang disusun oleh Agustin (2012). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negataif yang siginifikan antara father involvement dengan quarter life crisis dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar -0.585. Dengan demikian, dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat father involvement maka akan semakin rendah tingkat qarter life crisis yang dialami oleh dewasa awal di Kota Padang. Begitupun sebaliknya.

Abstract

The adaptation of the Attitudes Toward Voluntary Childlessness Scale is a useful measurement tool for assessing aspects related to being childfree, such as families who do not wish to have children, the necessity of children for a family to be happy/meaningful, and whether society supports individuals' choices not to have children. The adaptation of the Attitudes Toward Voluntary Childlessness Scale is essential because there is no suitable measurement tool in Indonesian to accurately measure the concept of being childfree, especially in the context of families who choose not to have children. This measurement tool consists of 24 items and has undergone six stages of adaptation following cross-cultural adaptation guidelines. Through testing on 50 adults in Indonesia, a reliability coefficient of 0.906 was obtained to measure indicators related to individuals who do not have children, the necessity of children for a family to be happy/meaningful, and whether society supports individuals' choices not to have children. Therefore, the adapted Attitudes Toward Voluntary Childlessness Scale can be used in future research to predict various variables related to the concept of being childfree in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy with self-regulation in Jakabaring Fitness members in Palembang City. The research subjects consisted of 60 active fitness members. The method used was quantitative correlation with total sampling technique. The results of the analysis showed that intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy are predictors of self-regulation, with a value of F = 21.181 (p <0.01). These two factors play a positive role in self-regulation, indicating that the higher the intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy, the better individuals are at regulating and maintaining their exercise habits. Simultaneously, intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy contributed 40.6% to self-regulation. While partially intrinsic motivation increases self-regulation by 0.461, while self-efficacy increases by 0.264.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the psychosocial predictors, namely government support, proactive personality, motivation, and spirituality, for the career satisfaction of gig workers in a new era of working. Design/methodology/approach: 323 gig workers across different sectors in Indonesia participated in this study. PLS-Structural Analysis Model (SEM) was performed to examine the hypothesis. Findings: A proactive personality has the highest path score in predicting gig work career satisfaction.  Government Support does not influence the satisfaction of gig work in Indonesia. Originality: This research stands out for its comprehensive examination of factors not previously studied within the Indonesian gig work environment, especially for spirituality. Additionally, the use of SEM analysis methods underscores an exhaustive approach to investigate relationships between the variables studied. The result that government support doesn't significantly impact career satisfaction offers fresh perspectives on the factors influencing gig work success in Indonesia. This study sheds light on psychosocial predictors that could have wider implications for gig workers globally as well as providing insight on the dynamics of gig work.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school climate and the principal's situational leadership on the performance of State Junior High School teachers in Pariaman City. A quantitative approach with a correlational method was employed. The population consisted of 194 teachers, with a sample of 112 selected using the Isaac and Michael table. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) School climate has a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 8.7%; (2) The principal's situational leadership has a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 9.1%; and (3) Together, school climate and the principal's situational leadership have a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 13%. The conclusion of this study confirms that improving a conducive school climate and the application of situational leadership by the principal can enhance teacher performance. The implication is that school principals are advised to pay more attention to creating a positive school climate and adjusting their leadership style to the maturity level of the teachers.

Abstract

The Creating a sustainable workplace is not only about reducing the impact of pollution on the environment but also about management support in creating a workplace that supports employee happiness and well-being. This study aims to determine the role of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and work involvement in increasing happiness at work and impact of happiness at work on improving organizational citizenship behavior in PT INKA (Persero) employees. The research subjects used were employees at PT INKA (Persero), totaling 103 employees. The data collection tools used were scales of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, work involvement, and happiness at work. Data analysis used IBM SPSS 22 software for normality tests, reliability tests, and descriptions of respondents' answers, and Lisrel 8.70 software for validity and reliability tests of instruments and hypothesis testing. The results showed that work engagement, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment significantly increased happiness at work, which in turn can increase organizational citizenship behavior in PT INKA (Persero) employees. Happiness at work felt by individuals will have a positive impact both at the individual level (work engagement, job satisfaction, affective commitment) and the organizational level (performance, such as OCB). Abstract

Social well-being is a part of subjective well-being used to measure mental health as a measurement of mental health, which is an indicator of quality of life. People can achieve social well-being when they have a good and deep quality relationship with others. However, people use technology almost daily, impairing their social well-being. Moreover, they also tend to do cyberloafing, which makes them spend more time on their gadget. This project's principal objective was to investigate cyberloafing's effect on cognitive absorption and social well-being. A quantitative method using three questionnaires (cognitive absorption scale, cyberloafing questionnaire, and social well-being) involving 178 respondents was employed. The data was analyzed using Mediation Analysis in JASP software. The findings indicated a partial mediation in cyberloafing on the relationship between cognitive absorption and cyberloafing.
