The differences in the instrumentation of text and context approaches in the distribution of inheritance according to Islamic law involves the theory of gender relations as developed by contemporary thinkers. This kind of paradigm starting from the thoughts that appeared in the content of Islamic inheritance law courses in college, started from normative Islamic religious rules and then slowly began to see the cultural side that developed in society. The existence of an integration-interconnection approach is expected to link the relationship between religious dogma and science to build Islamic inheritance law that is oriented towards gender justice and adaptive knowledge in society. This article aims to elaborate a model for developing a curriculum of Islamic inheritance law in colleges that is gender justice-oriented. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach and literature study then analyzed descriptively analytically by referring to the literature related to inheritance law and gender. The results show that the integration-interconnection approach can link Islamic inheritance law and gender relations. The Islamic inheritance law curriculum development is carried out by linking normative rules with gender issues in content. Development efforts are made to find the Islamic inheritance law curriculum content gender justice-oriented in colleges.

The purpose of this study is to reveal that divorce is contested as a result of domestic violence that has exceeded the limit, so that it is considered a crisis and crucial in family problems. There are two problems, namely how the judge considers in making a decision on a contested divorce case, and how to uphold the law and justice in a contested divorce case. Data analysis was carried out using the theory of law enforcement and gender justice, using a socio-anthropological approach. The results show that the consideration of judges in deciding divorce cases as harmonization in law enforcement is that the husband's position in the household. He cannot commit arbitrary acts and physical, psychological, sexual and financial violence, excessive burdens on wives, as the implementation of gender justice. Harmonization of law enforcement and gender justice in divorce cases is realizing and protecting the rights of wives with equal position with husband so they don't continue to be victims of violence, not in a marginal position in the household. This research can be recommended to continue to do research that is more perfect in uncovering cases of divorce due to domestic violence.

The study of gender cannot be separated from theological studies, because all religions have special treatment for women. The position of women in several religions and beliefs is placed as second class. As a result, the condition of women continues to be in a state of loss because of religious pretexts or legitimacy. This article discusses the basis of gender stereotypes in Islam, gender biased interpretation of the Qur’an, and gender equality in Islamic culture in Java. This study uses a library research approach. The result is that the Qur’an has explicitly tried to increase the dignity of women. This condition shows that Islam emphasizes that both men and women are given equal opportunities to achieve positions or degrees according to their abilities. These Islamic values ??are then firmly adhered to in realizing gender equality in Islamic culture in Javanese society, so that they can destroy perceptions of the position, dignity, and worth of men and women. Further research is needed that specifically addresses the role of Muslim women in the current era.

This study discusses women’s inheritance rights; gender relations, according to Tafsir Al-Mishbah. It was library research. The problems were; 1) How did Muslim intellectuals view women’s inheritance rights in terms of their role and position in the family? 2) What was M. Quraish Shihab’s view of it in Tafsir Al-Mishbah? It was discussed with a normative, sociological, philosophical-theological, and historical approach. While the method used was descriptive-analytical and comparative. It was found that Muslim intellectuals had the view that the division of inheritance that had been stipulated in the Qur’an was not a final decision. It applied and was in sync with the conditions at the time of the verse revelation, in a patrilineal system. Now, it needs to be reviewed because the Qur’an requires justice. Meanwhile, M. Quraish Shihab views a final determination, based on Q.S. an-Nisa verse 11, which meant: “This is a decree from Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.” The God argued that inheritance cannot be covered by ijtihad. Yet, there was a solution offered by distributing the property while people were still in good health.

This research departs from the problem of the existence of stereotypes against women who have intellectual qualities below men, because emotional feelings dominate in women. This has implications for the view that women are unfit to lead and ideal women are those who work in the kitchen, but such stereotypes actually lead to various discriminations against women. In this article, we will present the figure of Andi Depu as a female leader in Balanipa, who fought against the invaders. The methodology used in this study, namely the type of research: Library Research or literature study, nature of the research: qualitative, research method: descriptive analysis and using a feminist approach. The results in this study, namely: Andi Depu's leadership is a form of anti-thesis to the perception of society that views women as weak creatures, so they cannot be used as leaders. In addition, Andi Depu's leadership is also a form of anti-thesis to the misogynistic view which states that women only play a role in the domestic sphere and do not have a social role.

This article aims to describe the stigma of the people of Tukum village, Tekung sub-district, Lumajang district towards women with widow status. It uses field research with a qualitative approach and an analysis of Islam and gender. The results are the emergence of negative perceptions of widow status because of male dominance in social life. They underestimate widowed women more easily than widowed men. Even though two widower statuses are the equivalent of widowed status because of the end of a divorce. However, there is also a positive stigma found by assuming that a widow cannot be underestimated. This is supported that there are widows who can be the backbone of their husbands after a divorce. Through gender analysis, differences in the image of widows were historically formed based on several factors. It was then socialized, strengthened, and built through socio-cultural, even supported by myths or religious misinterpretations. In Islam, the principle of justice is strongly upheld, equality of rights and obligations to men and women. They are adjusted to their respective responsibilities without preferences and discrimination that benefit men and harm women.
