Abstract

Christian religious education has an important role in shaping the character of early childhood, but its implementation often faces various challenges. This research aims to analyze the role of Christian religious education in forming the character of early childhood and identify the factors that influence its effectiveness. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach at several early childhood education institutions in Indonesia. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with educators, and analysis of curriculum documents. The research results show that Christian religious education contributes significantly in forming moral and spiritual values ​​in children, such as honesty, empathy and a sense of responsibility. However, its effectiveness is influenced by the competence of educators, parental involvement, and the availability of supporting resources. In conclusion, to maximize the role of Christian religious education in forming the character of early childhood, it is necessary to increase the competence of educators, collaborate between educational institutions and parents, and provide adequate resources.

Abstract

Education in the digital era is experiencing significant transformation along with technological developments. Innovations in educational technology, such as digital-based learning, artificial intelligence, and e-learning platforms, provide great opportunities to improve the quality of learning. This article discusses the role of technological innovation in creating more interactive, collaborative and personalized learning methods according to student needs. Apart from that, challenges in implementing technology, such as the digital divide and the readiness of teaching staff, are also a major concern. With the right approach, the use of technology can increase learning motivation, strengthen 21st century skills, and support a more flexible and adaptive learning system. This study highlights the importance of synergy between teachers, students and educational policies in optimizing the use of technology for more effective and inclusive learning.

Abstract

Based on this research, there is an imbalance between the picture-matching activity and fine motor skills in children in Group B at RA Ash-Shiddiq Cileunyi. The purpose of this study is to examine the children's activity in matching pictures, the fine motor skills of early childhood children, and the relationship between picture-matching activities and fine motor skills in early childhood children. This study uses a correlational approach based on a large number of subjects. The subjects of this study are children from Group B1 and B2, totaling 31 children, consisting of 18 boys and 13 girls. The data collection methods include observation and note-taking. The results obtained from the picture-matching process show an average score of 54, which falls within the range of 50-59, categorized as weak. The fine motor skills of the children received an average score of 78, which falls within the range of 70-79, categorized as good. Additionally, a correlation of 0.98 was found between the picture-matching performance and the fine motor skills of the children. The hypothesis test was conducted using a t-test, and the t_(calculated) = 26.35, while the t_(table) value at a 5% significance level with 29 degrees of freedom is 2.045. Therefore, since t_(calculated) = 26.35 > t_(table) = 2.045, it can be concluded that the picture-matching activity for early childhood children in Groups B1 and B2 supports the alternative hypothesis, and the null hypothesis is rejected. The results show that 96% of the activity is related to picture matching, while 4% is related to other activities.

Abstract

This research is based on the idea that children's listening ability is the initial and basic thing in children's language skills before they can speak, read and write. It is motivated by the underdevelopment of children's listening skills, evidenced when the learning process takes place the child is still less focused, so that it has an impact on the child's lack of understanding of the material presented. This study aims to determine children's listening skills through paper puppet media (Experimental Group), listening skills through picture book media (Control Group), the effect of using paper puppet media on children's listening skills. The method used in this research is quantitative using a quasi-experimental approach. Data collection techniques in the form of observation. Data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test (t test). The results showed that there was an effect of using paper puppet media on children's listening skills. This can be seen from the average value of the experimental group which was originally 55.8 to 81.3 with very good interpretation. While in the control group the average value of the pretest was 50.7 and the posttest was 65.3 with the interpretation of the sufficient category. The results of the analysis calculation of the hypothesis test tcount = 2.403> ttable = 2.228 at a significant level of 5%. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is an effect of using paper puppet media on children's listening skills.

Abstract

Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas is one of the leading Muslim intellectuals who introduced significant reforms in the field of Islamic education. The primary objective of this research is to examine al-Attas’s concept of curriculum and its relevance to the curricula implemented in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The purpose of the study is to gain an in-depth understanding and analysis of Islamic education from the perspective of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas.This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a library research approach, focusing on the collection of data from various relevant sources. These sources include books and previous studies related to the topic of this academic work. The findings of the study reveal that, according to al-Attas, the concept of an Islamic education curriculum, encompassing components such as objectives, content, teaching methods, and evaluation, aligns with the educational curriculum used in Indonesia. Al-Attas asserts that the ultimate goal of Islamic education is to cultivate a virtuous human being. This educational objective resonates with the goals of Islamic education in Indonesia, which aim to nurture individuals who possess faith in God Almighty and exhibit exemplary moral character.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes through the application of demonstration learning methods. The method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 2nd grade students at SDN 053 Cisitu, totaling 30 students, consisting of 15 women and 15 men, while the research object was the student’ mathematics learning outcomes. Data was collected through tests which were analyzed to measure students’ understanding with success indicators reaching 80%. The research results showed a significant increase in students’ understanding, with an average understanding in the first cycle of 74,16% and increasing to 74,16% in the second cycle. Thus, there was an increase in students’ understanding by 14,2%. the implication of this research is that the application of the demonstration learning method is effective in improving students’ mathematics learning outcomes, especially at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Organizing Employee Recruitment at the Insprasi Learner Foundation is an educational institution that is committed to providing quality educational services for students and the community. In this eflort, educational institutions need good public relations management to build a positive image, expand cooperation networks, and increase community participation in educational activities. In this article, we discuss the main functions of educational public relations management according to experts and the importance of public relations management in the implementation of education. We also reviewed the implementation of public relations management carried out by the Learner Inspiration Foundation, starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation. This evaluation includes customer satisfaction evaluation, employee performance evaluation, learning program evaluation, and social activity evaluation. By conducting regular evaluations, existing deficiencies can be corrected and the quality of educational services provided to students and the community can be improved.

Abstract

Technological advances which result in children being lazy about reading books and preferring to play games on gadgets have a very bad impact on the intelligence of the nation's children. Reading is one of the most difficult things for many people, including children. Reading is essential for success in education. The benefits of reading are increasing intelligence and having broad insight, training critical thinking, improving memory and concentration. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with literature review collection techniques. Literature review is scientific writing which includes identification, reading relevant research, taking notes, making summaries, conducting library research, and writing general opinions. The aim of this research is to determine the importance of reading literacy and the strategies used to increase reading interest. The results of the research are the strategies used to increase interest in reading in 3 stages, namely the habituation stage, development stage and learning stage. The inhibiting factors in its implementation are lack of motivation from teachers so that students become lazy, limited funds which result in a lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of electronic books on reading behavior and reading comprehension in senior high school students. Education has undergone a significant transformation in the era of information technology such as the emergence of electronic books. This change will certainly affect students' reading culture which includes reading behavior and reading comprehension. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results showed that students felt the ease of access, flexibility, and interactivity in using electronic books, thus encouraging them to use electronic books to support their academic needs. The findings of this study are the influence of electronic books on reading behavior and reading comprehension in high school students in the form of increased interest and good learning outcomes. The challenges that need to be overcome in order to maximize the potential of electronic books in high school learning are to ensure that students remain actively and critically engaged in the reading process, as well as to maintain students' focus and concentration when faced with electronic books.

Abstract

The mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri Banjarsari Wetan 01 on fraction material were relatively low. This study aims to enhance students' cognitive abilities through the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method consisting of two cycles, with each cycle comprising one meeting. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Banjarsari Wetan 01 Dagangan, Madiun, involving 9 third-grade students as research subjects. In the pre-cycle stage, only 35% of students achieved the minimum learning mastery. This figure significantly increased to 50% in the first cycle and 85% in the second cycle. These findings indicate that the CRT approach is effective in improving students' cognitive abilities in mathematics, particularly in fraction material.
