Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance through a comprehensive literature review. Transformational leadership, which is characterized by four main components, namely idealistic influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration, has been proven to have a significant impact on various aspects of employee performance. This study collects and analyzes results from various empirical studies to explore how each component of transformational leadership contributes to increased productivity, creativity, and employee engagement. The main findings from the literature review show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The influence of idealistic and inspirational motivation encourages employees to achieve organizational goals with high enthusiasm and commitment. Intellectual stimulation increases the capacity for innovation and engagement in problem solving, while individualized consideration strengthens employee loyalty and professional development. The implications of these findings suggest that organizational leaders adopt a transformational leadership style if they want to improve the performance of their teams. Additionally, organizations are advised to implement leadership training that focuses on developing transformational capabilities to achieve long-term effectiveness. This research also opens up opportunities for further studies regarding the application of transformational leadership in various different cultural and industrial contexts.

Abstract

The Effectiveness of the Qur'anic Tahfidz Programme in Improving Students' Academic Discipline and Achievement refers to the integral benefits that a structured programme in memorising the Qur'an brings to the improvement of students' personal discipline as well as learning achievement. The programme not only facilitates students' mastery of religious content, but also leads them to adopt regular and systematic study habits, which has a direct impact on improving their academic performance. The research method used in this study was literature review. The results of the literature review showed that students involved in the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Programme showed significant improvements in self-discipline and academic performance. The discipline applied in following a structured study schedule regularly correlates positively with the level of concentration and learning efficiency in other academic subjects. Furthermore, intensive memorisation improves students' memory function and concentration, which directly supports their capacity to retain and process academic information. The study also found that there was an increase in positive attitude towards learning and a more general increase in motivation among students who participated in the Tahfidz programme.

Abstract

The era of growing connectivity demands the role of education in shaping adaptive digital intelligence for students. This research uses the literature method to find findings on the role of education in shaping adaptive digital intelligence. The findings show the importance of education in helping students develop adaptability, creativity and critical thinking skills in the face of technological change. The integration of technology into the education curriculum is necessary to facilitate learning that supports the development of adaptive digital intelligence. In addition, the role of educators in integrating adaptive digital intelligence into daily learning practices includes guiding students in the effective use of technology, facilitating collaborative learning, and providing challenges in a digital context. The importance of creating a learning environment that supports adaptive digital intelligence is also an important finding in this study. Adequate technology facilities, collaboration between students in technology exploration, and support for experimentation and innovation are important factors in helping students face the era of connectivity. However, this study also provides an important note about expanding digital literacy to deal with digital risks such as cyberbullying and digital injustice.

Abstract

The evolution of consumption taxes, particularly Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax, has played an important role in the country's revenue structure and its impact on the economy. VAT, where tax is levied on value added at every stage of production and distribution, is different from Sales Tax which is levied only at the final stage of sale to consumers. While both taxes aim to generate revenue, they have different mechanisms, administrative efficiency, and economic effects. VAT is considered more effective in generating revenue without disrupting significant economic activity, while Sales Tax is often criticised for its regressive and potentially distortive nature. The study conducted in this research uses literature research method. The results show that while consumption tax provides a stable source of revenue and increases taxpayer compliance, its structure can have a negative impact, particularly on low-income families, due to its regressive nature. Further investigations address the impact of consumption taxes on consumer behaviour and market dynamics, highlighting how the structure of tax rates affects the affordability of goods and consumer choice. Finally, this study offers suggestions for policy formulation with a balanced approach to ensure that the social and economic benefits of consumption taxes are maximised, while mitigating potential unintended consequences that could hamper overall economic growth.

Abstract

In recent years, digital intelligence has developed significantly and plays an important role in the transformation of education. The research method conducted in this study is literature. The results show that advances in educational technology such as AI, VR, and the use of big data have provided innovative instruments to facilitate a learning process that is more of being split into autonomous and specialised. The adoption of these new tools seems to increase interaction and personalization in learning, providing opportunities for students to learn at their own time and pace. However, the literature also notes the challenges faced, including unequal access to technology, the need for infrastructure adaptation, and the demand for teacher capacity building. The results show that students who have complete and supportive access to digital intelligence show improvements in academic engagement and achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of implementing financial risk management on profitability and company value, with a focus on comparative studies between State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and private companies in Indonesia. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study explores various aspects of financial risk management and their impact on company performance. The method used in this research is systematic literature analysis, utilizing secondary sources such as scientific journals, company financial reports and other official publications. The data collected covers the 2010-2020 period, involving samples from 50 state-owned companies and 100 leading private companies in Indonesia. The research results show that the implementation of financial risk management has a significant positive impact on profitability and company value, both in BUMN and private companies. However, there are differences in the level and characteristics of the impact. Private companies tend to show a faster increase in profitability, while state-owned companies experience a more stable increase in company value in the long term. This study also reveals that the effectiveness of implementing financial risk management is influenced by factors such as ownership structure, government regulations, and organizational culture. SOEs face unique challenges related to political and bureaucratic interference, while private companies are more flexible but sometimes limited in terms of resources. In conclusion, this research provides valuable insight into the importance of financial risk management in improving company performance in Indonesia. These findings can be a reference for policy makers, company managers and investors in understanding the dynamics of financial risk management in the public and private sectors.

Abstract

Tax reform is a broad area of regulatory change, technology implementation, and incentive policies. The research in this investigation uses the literature research method. The results show that the impact of tax reform on Small and Medium Enterprises is dualistic. On the one hand, reforms that prioritize transparency, simplicity, and are supported by clear guidelines are well received by Small and Medium Enterprises, as they ease the reporting process and improve tax compliance. On the other hand, complex and confusing reforms create uncertainty and operational challenges, especially for Small and Medium Enterprises that are less prepared in terms of technology and infrastructure. Therefore, technological readiness and supporting infrastructure play an important role in determining the effectiveness of tax reform. Furthermore, the need for support from the government, both in the form of tax incentives and education, greatly affects the success of Small and Medium Enterprises' adaptation to tax reform. Incentives such as tax subsidies or rebates help to reduce the financial burden, while training and education improve the understanding of Small and Medium Enterprises of the new rules. Thus, to achieve effective and equitable tax reform, a multifaceted approach is required involving improved regulations, increased access to technology, and ongoing support from the government.
