Abstract

This study aims to provide a comparative analysis of social media strategies employed by successful entrepreneurs, with a focus on the role of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. To investigate this topic, the researchers conducted a bibliometric review of the existing literature. The review explored how entrepreneurial leaders utilize social media, with a particular emphasis on the content and tone of their online communications. The researchers conducted a comprehensive search of academic databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, to identify relevant scholarly articles and publications. . The search terms used included a combination of keywords related to social media, entrepreneurship, and business growth, such as "social media strategies", "entrepreneurial success", "small and medium enterprises", and "digital marketing". The findings from this study reveal that entrepreneurs employ a diverse range of social media strategies to drive the growth and development of their businesses. For instance, distributing information via Instagram-utilizing hashtags, captions, or tags on uploaded links assists SMEs in conducting promotions and advertisements for newly launched products. Entrepreneurs also use social media platforms to interact directly with key stakeholders, such as employees, suppliers, financiers, and partners, as well as other entrepreneurs and industry experts.

Abstract

This study was carried out to determine the relationship between Test anxiety and Self- concept as predictor of secondary school students’ achievement in Biology in Nnewi Education Zone of Anambra State, Nigeria. Three research questions and three null hypotheses guided the study. The study was correlational research design with a population of 2,229, and sample size of 339 senior secondary three students (SSSIII) respectively. The sample size was obtained based on Taro Yamane principle and distributed using the proportionate stratified sampling technique. The instruments for data collection were Biology Achievement Test (BAT), Biology Text Anxiety Scale (BTAS) and Self-Descriptive Questionnaire (SDQ). The BTAS and SDQ were based on a Four-point Likert format and were used to gather data on students’ Test-anxiety and Self-concept. Student Academic Achievement Scores (SAA) were obtained from the teacher made test. The BTAS and SDQ were validated by three experts, one from Measurement and Evaluation Department, two from Science Education Department, and both from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. The reliability co-efficient of 0.73 and 0.74 were established using Cronbach Alpha for BTAS and SDQ respectively, while that of the BAT, was done using Kuder Richardson 20 (K-R-20) to obtain a reliability index of 0.775. Research questions and hypotheses were analyzed using simple and multiple regression analyses tested at 0.05 level of significance. Findings showed that Test-anxiety has a significant prediction on academic achievement of senior secondary school students in biology; Self-concept has a significant prediction on achievement of senior secondary school students in biology; test-anxiety has significantly predicted the academic achievement of male and female senior secondary school students in biology class; Self-concept significantly predicted the achievement of male and female senior secondary school students in biology class; and test-anxiety and self-concept had a joint and significant predictive power on achievement of senior secondary school students in biology in Nnewi Education Zone of Anambra State. Based on the findings of the study, educational implications were discussed. Recommendations included that Biology teachers be trained on how to improve and sustain students’ Test Anxiety and Self Concept in Biology. The study contributed to knowledge in that it revealed the nexus between test-anxiety and self-concept on students learning outcomes by showing that test anxiety (TA) and self-concept (SC) are psychological constructs that secondary school teachers in their respective discipline must critically pay attention to especially as it concerns biology in Nnewi Education Zone of Anambra State.

Abstract

Monetary policy is recognised as having a significant influence on the economy, particularly through its impact on the capital market. The study conducted in this research uses the literature research method. The results found that the eflects of interest rate changes and significant increases in liquidity often have a short-term positive impact on stock market indices. However, the findings also emphasise the need for policymakers to consider complicating factors such as global political or economic instability and high inflation expectations, which may reduce the eflectiveness of monetary policy. Finally, the findings underline that the room for manoeuvre of monetary policy can be limited in a low interest rate environment, which calls for a more innovative and sensitive policy approach to external conditions.

Abstract

Active learning method is an approach to teaching and learning that emphasises students' direct and active participation in learning activities. Instead of being passive recipients of information, students engage in discussions, simulations, hands-on practice, group projects, and various other forms of interaction designed to stimulate engagement and critical thinking skills. The aim is to increase understanding of the material, motivate students, and ultimately improve learning achievement through a more dynamic and engaging learning experience. The study in this research uses the literature research method. The results of the analysis from various literatures show that active learning methods significantly contribute to increasing students' learning motivation. Students who are directly involved in the learning process tend to have higher interest and enthusiasm, which leads to increased academic commitment. In addition, active learning methods also have a positive impact on students' learning achievement. A deeper understanding of the material, better critical thinking skills, and the ability to apply knowledge in different contexts are some of the resulting benefits. Thus, the implementation of active learning methods in primary schools is proven to be effective in improving students' motivation and learning achievement, making it an important strategy in efforts to improve the quality of primary education.

Abstract

The capital market has a significant role in promoting economic growth through fundraising mechanisms and efficient capital allocation. This study uses the research method. The results show that a developed and liquid capital market provides cheaper and easier access to funding for firms, allowing them to expand and innovate which in turn increases productivity and production capacity. In addition, capital markets also strengthen transparency and corporate governance, which not only increases investor confidence but also maintains overall economic stability. An effective capital market encourages companies to meet higher reporting and auditing standards, which in turn improves their accountability and performance. This allows for a more efficient allocation of resources to sectors with high growth prospects, thereby spurring innovation and value addition in the economy. However, these positive impacts are more pronounced in countries with adequate financial infrastructure and supportive regulations. In developing countries, challenges such as lack of liquidity, information imbalances, and political instability remain major obstacles. In this context, the literature review emphasizes the importance of building strong capital market infrastructure, improving financial literacy, and continuous efforts in strengthening regulations to maximize the contribution of capital markets to economic growth. With the right strategy, capital markets can be an important pillar in promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

Abstract

The effect of lecturers' use of technology in the classroom on students' motivation to learn refers to the extent to which the integration of technological tools and methods by lecturers can change the level of engagement, participation and encouragement that students feel in the learning process. Technology in this context includes various digital tools and platforms such as computer-based presentations, educational applications, online discussion forums, learning videos, and other interactive media used to support classroom teaching. The aim is to provide a more engaging, interactive and effective learning environment, so as to increase students' interest and motivation to learn. This influence can be positive, such as increased participation and understanding of the material, but it can also be negative if the use of technology is not well managed, such as causing distraction or passivity in learning. The results show that the integration of technology in teaching has the potential to increase student engagement and participation, which positively affects their motivation to learn. Technology tools such as interactive presentations, online discussion forums, and multimedia-based learning applications allow for a more dynamic and interactive learning environment.
