Abstract

Farmers have a very important role in the agribusiness sector, especially in dealing with various risks that can affect agricultural output. They are not only responsible for producing food, but also act as resource managers, local economic actors, and guardians of environmental sustainability. Farmers must be able to adapt to changes that occur, be it climate change, market price fluctuations, or technological developments. To deal with agribusiness business risks, farmers can apply several effective strategies. This study discusses the roles and strategies of farmers in dealing with agribusiness business risks that are often influenced by various factors, such as climate change, market price fluctuations, pests and diseases, and uncertainty of government policies. Farmers have a crucial role as resource managers, decision makers, innovators, financial managers, and collaborators in their efforts to reduce the impact of various risks that can threaten the sustainability of agribusiness businesses. The strategies implemented include business diversification, technology adoption, wise financial management, strengthening networks and cooperation, and adaptation to environmental and market changes. The results of the study indicate that a combination of proactive roles and well-planned strategies can increase the resilience and success of farmers in dealing with agribusiness business risks. It is important for farmers to continue to develop skills, strengthen networks, and adopt appropriate technologies to reduce uncertainty and improve the sustainability of their agribusiness.

Abstract

Flashcards have long been recognized as a valuable tool in English Language Teaching (ELT), particularly for helping students build and retain vocabulary. With the rise of technology, traditional paper-based flashcards have evolved into digital formats, making them more versatile and widely accessible in language learning. This study aims to analyze trends in flashcard research and explore their impact on vocabulary acquisition, student engagement, and technological integration. This systematic review explores the effectiveness of flashcards in ELT, focusing on primary school students by analyzing studies published between 2020 and 2024. Following the PRISMA framework, relevant studies were selected from databases such as Google Scholar, Mendeley, and Semantic Scholar, ensuring a rigorous screening process based on specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings reveal that flashcards improve vocabulary retention, increase student engagement, and foster motivation. Digital flashcards, in particular, offer interactive features, multimedia support, and ease of access, creating a more engaging and adaptable learning experience. However, challenges such as unequal access to technology and the risk of over-reliance on digital tools must be considered. This review emphasizes the importance of integrating flashcards with other teaching strategies to maximize their impact in ELT classrooms.

Abstract

Digital literacy encompasses the ability to access, understand and use digital information effectively, which is becoming increasingly important in an era of rapidly evolving technology. This study uses the literature method. The results showed that most teenagers have good access to digital devices such as smartphones and computers. However, there are variations in their level of digital knowledge and skills, especially when it comes to using technology for productive purposes. Formal education that supports digital literacy proved to be important, along with the significant role of support from family and peers in directing the wise use of technology. Thus, improving digital literacy and communication skills among adolescents requires synergy between adequate technological infrastructure, relevant education, and support from the social environment. Thus, adolescents can be better prepared to face challenges in the digital era and utilise technology optimally and responsibly.

Abstract

Digital transformation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) during the pandemic has become a vital step to ensure business survival and growth. The COVID- 19 pandemic has accelerated the need for digital technology adoption due to physical restrictions that reduce face-to-face interactions. While this offers various opportunities such as market expansion and improved operational efficiency, MSMEs also face various challenges, including financial limitations, low digital literacy, and uneven internet infrastructure and connectivity. To overcome these challenges, a comprehensive strategy is needed, including improved digital literacy, utilisation of digital platforms, and collaboration with external parties. Digital transformation is not only a short-term solution during the pandemic, but also a long-term strategy to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in facing the industrial era 4.0. With the right support from the government and other stakeholders, MSMEs can continue to grow and contribute significantly to the economy.
