Abstract

The rapid development of information technology (IT) has redefined the way schools manage their resources and administrative processes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of IT in improving administrative management in schools and identify its significant impact on the efficiency of school organizations. The research method used in this study is the literature method. The results of this study show that IT plays a crucial role in easing the daily operations of schools, such as automated attendance, scheduling, financial administration and student performance tracking. The use of SIS has provided a strong foundation for schools to manage big data more effectively, facilitating data-driven decision-making and transparency in communication. Furthermore, the LMS and online collaboration tools have improved communication between staff, students and parents, enabling a more inclusive and responsive learning environment. Despite significant improvements, challenges related to data privacy, cybersecurity, as well as the need for proper training for staff remain obstacles.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the role and effectiveness of local regulations in handling domestic violence cases. The method used is a literature review. This study identified that the existence of regional regulations is very important as a legal umbrella to protect victims and provide sanctions for perpetrators of domestic violence. However, the effectiveness of local regulations is still questionable given various challenges, including the capacity of law enforcement officers, inadequate resources and infrastructure, and lack of supervision in their implementation. The results show that while local regulations have been a progressive step in addressing domestic violence, their role is often limited to the normative level and lacking in effective concrete actions. Factors such as unawareness or low knowledge of domestic violence among law enforcement officials and the community, strong social stigma, and a non-integrated referral and victim assistance system, further hinder the implementation of this policy. Therefore, a multi-sectoral approach involving cooperation across institutions and sectors of society is needed to improve the effectiveness of this regional regulation. Capacity building for law enforcers, improved support facilities for victims, intensive socialization, and systematic monitoring and evaluation strategies are needed to ensure that the regional regulation can contribute significantly to reducing domestic violence and effectively protect victims' rights.

Abstract

This literature review was conducted by identifying and analyzing various studies related to the role of parents in children's education at home. The findings indicate that parental involvement is positively correlated with children's learning outcomes. Effective strategies include creating a conducive learning environment at home, adapting learning strategies according to children's learning styles, and education on time management and independent learning skills. Findings also show the importance of supportive parental attitudes and positive expectations of children's education in fostering motivation and effective learning. Parents who are flexible in their educational methods and are able to adapt to their children's needs seem to be more successful in developing independent and adaptive learners.

Abstract

This research examines the role of social capital in the economic empowerment of coastal communities in various regions in Indonesia through a comparative literature study approach. Social capital, which includes trust, norms and social networks, is believed to have a significant influence on efforts to manage natural resources efficiently and sustainably, increase productivity and reduce poverty in coastal areas. The study found that communities with strong social capital tend to be better able to adapt to climate change and environmental issues, and more easily access development programmes and external assistance. As such, strengthening social capital is an essential strategy for economic empowerment and improving the welfare of coastal communities. These findings emphasise the importance of integrating social capital in sustainable and inclusive development policies for Indonesia's coastal communities.

Abstract

Civil law transformation includes changes and developments in the civil law system that occur over time. These changes are influenced by various factors, including social, economic, political and technological. The aim of this transformation is to ensure that civil law remains relevant and capable of regulating legal relationships between individuals and entities in an ever-evolving society. Indonesian Civil Law aims to determine which law applies and which courts have authority in civil cases across national borders. The history of Private International Law begins during feudalism in Europe. The transformation of Private International Law occurred in line with changes in the structure of society which increasingly tended towards a territorialistic society throughout Europe. In the Indonesian context, Private International Law has an important role in protecting the rights and interests of Indonesian citizens abroad, facilitating international trade, resolving international disputes, international cooperation, and protecting intellectual property rights.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the transformation of traditional marketing into digital marketing, with a particular focus on the impact of social media on consumer preferences. The method used is a literature study, where various relevant research and scientific articles are analyzed to understand the development and implications of this shift. Key findings show that social media has become a highly effective tool in shaping consumer preferences through social influence, personal interactions and specially curated content. Social media platforms allow companies to reach a wider audience at a lower cost, while offering higher engagement through two-way communication and immediate feedback. The impact of social media on consumer preferences has proven to be significant in building brand awareness, loyalty and purchasing decisions. Consumers are increasingly relying on reviews, recommendations, and user-generated content in their decision-making process. Implicit in these findings is the need for companies to develop digital marketing strategies that are adaptive and responsive to the dynamics of social media, including the use of data and analytics to understand consumer behavior in more depth. This research emphasizes the importance of social media integration within a digital marketing framework, as well as the potential challenges and opportunities this change presents for businesses in the digital era.

Abstract

Digitalisation of MSMEs plays an important role in promoting economic inclusion in the digital era. This study aims to analyse the potential and challenges of MSME digitalisation, and identify strategies to realise this potential. The method used is a literature study. The results show that digitalisation can help MSMEs expand market access, improve efficiency, and create new business opportunities. However, MSMEs also face various challenges, such as the digital divide, lack of digital literacy, and limited access to resources. To overcome these challenges, collaboration between the government, private sector, and community is needed to create an ecosystem conducive to MSME digitalisation. Recommended strategies include providing digital infrastructure, improving digital literacy, access to finance and resources, as well as regulations that support innovation and data protection. With an inclusive and comprehensive approach, digitalisation of MSMEs can contribute to poverty alleviation, reduction of economic disparities, and sustainable economic development.

Abstract

The concept of justice enshrined in the Quran emphasizes the principles of balance, equality, and respect for individual rights regardless of one's social status, gender, or ethnic background. The Quran emphasizes the importance of social justice through the command to act justly even when faced with situations that challenge the individual or family, as stated in Surah An-Nisa verse 135. The verses remind us that the implementation of justice must include honesty in actions and avoiding discrimination and preconceptions. In addition, the Quran states the importance of justice in economic and political aspects, including through the zakat system and the prohibition of usury, which aim to reduce social disparities and ensure a more equitable distribution of wealth. These principles of justice also apply to governance, with an emphasis on integrity, transparency and accountability. The application of justice in Islamic law (sharia) is realized through various legal mechanisms and institutions that refer to Quranic principles. For example, Islamic criminal law contains specific provisions on fair legal procedures and the rejection of unfair or oppressive acts, while Islamic family law protects the rights of women and children and ensures fairness in the distribution of inheritance. However, there are significant challenges in implementing these concepts of justice uniformly across Muslim communities, largely due to differences in interpretation among the various madhhabs (schools) or schools of Islamic law, as well as the influence of state policies and political dynamics. Overcoming this imbalance requires wise policies and an unwavering commitment to the values of justice taught in the Qur'an.
