Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas fitoremediasi tanaman amazon frogbit (Hydrocharis laevigata) pada variasi konsentrasi air lindi TPA Banyuroto terhadap penurunan kadar BOD, COD, TSS, pH, N total, dan kadmium, serta mengetahui performa tanaman amazon frogbit pada variasi konsentrasi air lindi TPA Banyuroto ditinjau dari jumlah daun dan berat basah tanaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan variasi konsentrasi air lindi serta rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh fi toremediasi pada tingkat konsentrasi air lindi (10, 20, dan 30%) terhadap kualitasnya selama 14 hari. Air lindi diambil dari inlet dan outlet bak pengelolaan air lindi. Kualitas air diuji sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan untuk seluruh parameter. Efektivitas fi toremediasi dihitung dengan rumus efektivitas dan performa tanaman yang meliputi jumlah daun dan berat tanaman amazon frogbit dianalisis statistik menggunakan uji One Way ANOVA untuk melihat perbedaan kualitas air sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Tanaman amazon frogbit menunjukkan potensi yang menjanjikan untuk fi toremediasi air lindi TPA, yang secara efektif mengurangi polutan pada konsentrasi lindi 10%. Kemampuan adaptasi tanaman terhadap lindi, terbukti dengan tidak adanya perubahan signifi kan pada jumlah atau berat daun, membuatnya menjadi kandidat yang cocok untuk aplikasi pengelolaan lindi.Kata kunci: air lindi, amazon frogbit, fitoremediasi, makrofitEffectiveness Hydrocharis laevigata for phytoremediation of Banyuroto Landfi ll Leachate Kabupaten Kulon Progo Abstract: This research aimed to determine the eff ectiveness of amazon frogbit (Hydrocharis laevigata) in reducing BOD, COD, TSS, pH, total N, and cadmium levels at various concentrations of Banyuroto landfi ll leachate water; and assess the performance of amazon frogbit in terms of leaf number and wet weight at diff erent leachate concentrations. This research used an experimental method with variations in leachate concentration and a completely randomized design. The study examined the eff ect of phytoremediation at leachate concentration levels (10, 20, and 30%) over 14 days. Leachate water was collected from the inlet and outlet of the leachate management basin. Water quality was tested before and after treatment for all parameters. Phytoremediation eff ectiveness was calculated, and plant performance, including the number of leaves and weight, was analyzed using the One Way ANOVA test to see diff erences in water quality before and after treatment. The amazon frogbit showed promising potential for phytoremediation of landfi ll leachate water, eff ectively reducing pollutants at 10% leachate concentration. The plant's adaptability to leachate, evident in the absence of signifi cant changes in leaf number or weight, makes it suitable for leachate management applications. Abstract

Sulawesi merupakan salah satu pulau dengan keanekaragaman spesies udang air tawar yang tinggi, terutama dari famili Atyidae. Salah satu wilayah distribusi udang air tawar di Sulawesi adalah Sungai Papasong, Parigi Moutong, Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyediakan kunci identifi kasi spesies udang air tawar dari famili Atyidae yang berasal dari Sungai Papasong disertai gambar karakter dari masing-masing spesies. Sampel pada penelitian ini dikoleksi pada tahun 2021 dari tiga lokasi di Sungai Papasong, yaitu bagian hulu, tengah dan hilir sungai menggunakan tray net. Enam spesies Atyidae yang ditemukan adalah Atyoida pilipes, Caridina brevicarpalis, C. gracilipes, C. serratirostris, C. villadolidi, dan C. weberi. Mayoritas habitat genus Caridina ditemukan pada bagian hilir sungai dengan arus lambat hingga sedang, sedangkan genus Atyoida ditemukan pada bagian hulu sungai yang berarus deras. Dengan tersedianya kunci identifi kasi dalam artikel ini, akan memudahkan untuk mengidentifi kasi keenam spesies famili Atyidae yang ada di Sungai Papasong dan juga memperkaya data biodiversitas fauna akuatik yang berasal dari Parigi Moutong.Kata kunci: udang air tawar, Sulawesi, Caridina, Sungai Papasong, kunci identifi kasiIdentification of freshwater shrimp family Atyidae from Papasong Stream, Parigi Moutong, Sulawesi Tengah Abstract: The Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, harbours a high diversity of freshwater shrimp species, especially from family Atyidae. One of the distribution ranges for atyid shrimp in Sulawesi is the Papasong Stream, Parigi Moutong, Sulawesi Tengah. This research purposes to provide an identifi cation key of the freshwater shrimp species from family Atyidae, accompanied by pictures of the characters of each species. Samples were collected in 2021 from three sites in Papasong Stream, such as upstream, middle and downstream of the stream, using tray net. Six species were collected namely Atyoida pilipes, Caridina brevicarpalis, C. gracilipes, C. serratirostris, C. villadolidi, and C. weberi. The majority of the Caridina shrimps were found in the downstream which is low to moderate fl ows, while the genus Atyoida were found in the upstream with fast currents. The availability of species identifi cation keys in this article will make it easier to identify the six species of the family Atyidae in the Papasong Stream and also enrich the biodiversity data of aquatic fauna originating from Parigi Moutong. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah mengubah cara kita berinteraksi dengan perangkat digital, termasuk dalam perancangan antarmuka pengguna (User Interface). PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung operasional, termasuk pelelangan rumah dinas pegawai. Namun, sistem yang ada belum optimal, terutama dalam hal UI, yang mengakibatkan ketidaknyamanan dan menurunkan efisiensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan merancang ulang Sistem Pelelangan Rumah Dinas menggunakan metode Task Centered System Design (TCSD), yang berfokus pada identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna dan pengembangan desain berbasis tugas. Penelitian ini melibatkan observasi dan wawancara dengan pegawai PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional RU III Plaju. Hasil rancangan dievaluasi menggunakan platform Maze, dengan skor akhir 84, menunjukkan bahwa rancangan UI layak digunakan. Hasil ini diharapkan meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi dalam proses pelelangan.Kata kunci: user interface, task centered system design (TCSD), usability testingApplication of task centered system design method in user interface design of company official house auction Abstract: Technological developments have changed the way we interact with digital devices, including in the design of user interfaces (UI). PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional utilizes information technology to support operations, including customer service housing for employees. However, the existing system is not optimal, especially in terms of UI, which causes inconvenience and reduces efficiency. This study aims to redesign the Official Housing Auction System using the Task Centered System Design (TCSD) method, which focuses on identifying user needs and developing task-based designs. This study involved observation and interviews with employees of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional RU III Plaju. The design results were evaluated using the Maze platform, with a final score of 84, indicating that the UI plan was feasible to use. These results are expected to increase efficiency and transparency in the customer process.Keywords: user interface, task centered system design (TCSD), usability test

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui posisi, warna, bentuk dan ukuran telur calon ratu H. itama. Pengamatan dilakukan pada 4 kotak yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi telur calon ratu H.itama berada pada bagian tengah-tengah sarang yang merupakan area paling terlindungi dan biasanya memiliki kondisi yang stabil serta memudahkan lebah pekerja untuk memberikan perawatan yang lebih baik seperti pemberian makanan. Telur calon H.itama berbentuk oval dan berwarna krem untuk lapisan bagian atas, sedangkan pada lapisan bagian bawah berwarna coklat muda. Telur calon ratu H.itama memiliki ukuran yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan telur calon pekerja atau pejantan. Ukuran rata-rata panjang telur calon ratu yang diamati yaitu 0,8 cm dan memiliki lebar rata-rata berkisar antara 0,5-0,6 cm. Kata kunci: Heterotrigona itama, telur calon ratu, karakteristik Characteristics of eggs of prospective queen Heterotrigona itama in cultivated colonies in the Imbo Putui customary forest, Kampar Abstract: This study aims to determine the position, color, shape and size of the eggs of the prospective queen H. itama. Observations were made in 4 boxes selected by purposive sampling using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the study showed that the position of the eggs of the prospective queen H. itama is in the middle of the nest which is the most protected area and usually has stable conditions and makes it easier for worker bees to provide better care such as feeding. The eggs of the prospective H. itama are oval and cream-colored for the top layer while the bottom layer is light brown. The eggs of the prospective queen H. itama are larger than the eggs of the prospective workers or males. The average length of the eggs of the prospective queen observed was 0.8 cm and had an average width ranging from 0.5 cm - 0.6 cm. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji aspek lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi, termasuk emisi gas rumah kaca, kualitas tanah, dan perubahan pendapatan. Studi ini menggunakan Fuzzy AHP dan MDS untuk menilai keberlanjutan, yang menunjukkan pembangunan yang cukup berkelanjutan dengan skor 56,14%. Temuan utama menyoroti lima atribut sensitif yang mempengaruhi keberlanjutan, dan skor 56,41% untuk PKS Terantam menunjukkan keberlanjutan yang cukup baik. Rekomendasi yang diberikan antara lain adalah memperluas penilaian ke pabrik-pabrik lain, mendorong konversi bioenergi menjadi listrik, dan mengadopsi pendekatan holistik untuk keberlanjutan jangka panjang dalam pengembangan kelapa sawit di Riau.Kata Kunci: kelapa sawit, keberlanjutan bioenergi, dampak lingkungan, implikasi sosial, aspek ekonomi Plan for assessment and improvement of the sustainability index in the development of palm bioenergy for electricity Abstract: This study examines environmental, social, and economic aspects, including GHG emissions, soil quality, and income changes. The study utilizes Fuzzy AHP and MDS to assess sustainability, revealing a moderately sustainable development with a score of 56.14%. Key f i ndings highlight fi ve sensitive attributes aff ecting sustainability, and a score of 56.41% for PKS Terantam suggests reasonable sustainability. Recommendations include extending assessments to other mills, promoting bioenergy conversion into electricity, and adopting a holistic approach to long-term sustainability in palm oil development in Riau. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji fitokimia yang meliputi uji alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, fenolik, kuinon, triterpenoid dan steroid, total fenolik dan flavonoid serta aktivitas antioksidan fraksi etil asetat dan etanol daun mangga kultivar madu. Penelitian diawali determinasi tanaman, preparasi sampel, skrining fitokimia, maserasi dengan etanol 96% dilanjutkan partisi bertingkat menggunakan n-heksana dan etil asetat. Skrining fitokimia dilakukan pada ekstrak dan fraksi yang diperoleh. Fraksi yang diperoleh ditentukan total fenolik dengan metode Folin-Ciocalteu, total fl avonoid dengan metode kolorimetri AlCl3. Aktivitas antioksidan ditentukan dengan metode DPPH. Hasil determinasi tanaman dapat dipastikan sampel adalah Mangifera indica L. kultivar madu, positif mengandung senyawa flavonoid, fenolik, saponin, kuinon, steroid dan triterpenoid. Rendemen fraksi etil asetat dan fraksi etanol berturut-turut sebesar 6,19 dan 5,19%. Kadar total fenolik fraksi etil asetat daun mangga kultivar madu berturut-turut sebesar 423,7 ± 3,68 mg GAE/g dan 48,2 ± 0,139 mg QE/g. Kadar total flavonoid fraksi etanol berturut-turut sebesar 132,35 ± 1,95 mg GAE/g dan 27,72 mg QE/g. Nilai IC50 fraksi etil asetat dan fraksi etanol berturut-turut sebesar 17,83 dan 79,73 ppm. Daun mangga kultivar madu dapat berperan sebagai agen antioksidan dengan kategori kuat pada fraksi etanol dan sangat kuat pada fraksi etil asetat.Kata kunci: total fenolik, total flavonoid, antioksidan, Mangifera indica LDetermination of total phenolics and flavonoids content and test of antioxidant activity of mango leaves honey cultivar Abstract: This research aims to carry out phytochemical tests which include tests for alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, phenolics, quinones, saponins, triterpenoids and steroids, total phenolics and fl avonoids as well as antioxidant activity of the ethyl acetate and ethanol fractions of honey cultivar mango leaves. The research began with plant determination, sample preparation, phytochemical screening, maceration with 96% ethanol followed by multilevel partitioning using n-hexane and ethyl acetate. Phytochemical screening was carried out on the extracts and fractions obtained. The fractions obtained were determined as total phenolics using the Folin Ciocalteu method, total flavonoids using the AlCl3 colorimetric method. Antioxidant activity was determined by the DPPH method. The results of the plant determination confi rmed that the sample was Mangifera indica L. honey cultivar, positive for containing flavonoid, phenolic, saponin, quinone, steroid and triterpenoid compounds. The yields of the ethyl acetate fraction and ethanol fraction were 6.19 and 5.19% respectively. The total phenolic content of the ethyl acetate fraction of honey cultivar mango leaves was respectively 423.7 ± 3.68 mg GAE/g and 48.2 ± 0.139 mg QE/g. The total flavonoid content of the ethanol fraction was 132.35 ± 1.95 mg GAE/g and 27.72 mg QE/g, respectively. The IC50 values of the ethyl acetate fraction and ethanol fraction were 17.83 and 79.73 ppm respectively. Honey cultivar mango leaves can act as an antioxidant agent with a strong category in the ethanol fraction and very strong in the ethyl acetate fraction. Abstract

To enhance system resilience and prevent widespread blackouts from potential disruptions, a structured scheme is needed to reduce the impact of such disturbances. One of PLN's breakthrough initiatives is the activation of Automatic Generation Control (AGC) in the Java-Madura-Bali electricity system. Since the existing Load Frequency Control (LFC) system at Tambak Lorok PLTGU has been inactive for some time, the plant was selected for AGC implementation. This system is managed automatically by the Java Control Center (JCC) Dispatcher through a SCADA control scheme. This study aims to examine the effect of AGC activation on power plant regulation by JCC Dispatchers and to compare the SCADA system performance at Tambak Lorok with that of other power plants. A quantitative method with a descriptive approach was used, relying on SCADA point-to-point testing and real-time load trials with JCC Dispatchers. The results showed that during real-time testing, the Java-Bali grid frequency remained between 50.154 Hz and 49.819 Hz. These findings confirm AGC's effectiveness and support its broader implementation as a reliable solution for maintaining frequency stability and addressing challenges posed by intermittent renewable energy sources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of activated carbon made from corn cobs and its effectiveness as a bioadsorbent in reducing iron and bromate levels in bottled drinking water (AMDK). The carbon was activated using 5% HCl and applied in a continuous column system, where the water flowed by gravity. Variations in adsorbent mass and flow rate were used to observe their influence on adsorption efficiency. Characterization results showed that the corn cob activated carbon met the SNI 06-3730-1995 standard, with a moisture content of 3.62%, ash 0.94%, volatile matter 5.9%, and pure activated carbon 89.8%. The optimum adsorbent mass was 1.3 grams, resulting in a decrease in iron levels from 5 mg/L to 0.0155 mg/L, and bromate from 0.08373 mg/L to 0.0015 mg/L"”both within the limits set by SNI 3553-2015. The removal efficiency (Ep) reached 99.69% for iron ions and 97.61% for bromate at a flow rate of 0.2 mL/min and a contact time of 120 minutes. The column method proved effective for filtering bottled drinking water.

Abstract

Water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica) possesses hyperaccumulator properties, a high level of tolerance, and fast growth. These characteristics indicate that water kale (Ipomoea aquatica) can remediate leachate which is a source of pollution around the Banyuroto landfill. This study aims to (1) evaluate the effectiveness of the water spinach plant (Ipomoea aquatica) as a phytoremediator for Banyuroto landfill leachate, (2) assess the plant's performance as a phytoremediator for Banyuroto landfill leachate. A single factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used with Leachate concentration treatments of 10%, 20%, 30%. Observed parameters included leachate water quality (BOD, COD, TSS, pH, total N, cadmium) and plant performance (number of leaves and wet weight). Leachate water quality was analyzed using the effectiveness calculation, while plant performance was carried out using One Way Anova. The results showed the highest effectiveness of phytoremediation at the 10% level for BOD, COD, TSS parameters. The highest total effectiveness parameter N is at the 20% level. Cadmium parameters at all levels of effectiveness value are the same. Furtehrmore, leachate had no significant effect on the growth performance of water spinach.

Abstract

The transportation sector has a significant impact on the environment, particularly in terms of urban air pollution, congestion, and road damage. Nevertheless, transportation remains essential to support economic activity, education, and daily work. This study aims to determine the effect of land transportation infrastructure on congestion in Jayapura City. This research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires. The data were analyzed using simple regression analysis.  The results showed that land transportation infrastructure has a significant effect on congestion in Jayapura City. Based on the partial t-test using SPSS, a t value of -8.957 was obtained with a probability value (sig value) of 0.000. Since this probability value is smaller than alpha (5%), it can be concluded that land transportation infrastructure partially has a significant effect on congestion. This study confirms that the improvement and management of land transportation infrastructure is essential to reduce congestion in Jayapura City, which in turn can support economic activities, education, and daily work.
