Abstract

ABSTRAK                 Tujuanpenelitian adalahmengetahui beberapa pola saluran pemasaran dan  marjin serta efisiensi pemasaran ayam broiler di Kabupaten Grobogan. Penelitian dilaksanakanbulan Oktober sampai bulan November 2014di Kabupaten Grobogan.Metode yang digunakanadalah survei.Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primerdan data sekunder. Analisis data pola saluran pemasaran dibahas secara deskriptif dan pengujian marjin pemasaran tiap pola saluran pemasaran di uji dengan independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian adalah terdapat 3 pola saluran pemasaran yaitu: pola 1, produsen - inti - pedagang besar - pedagang pasar - pedagang eceran - konsumen; pola 2, produsen - inti - pedagang besar - pedagang pasar - konsumen; dan pola 3, produsen - inti - pedagang besar - konsumen.Rata-rata marjin pemasaran adalah pola 1 (panjang) Rp 13.951 sebesar 37,57%, pola 2 (sedang) Rp 11.262 sebesar 30,33 % dan pola 3 (pendek) Rp 11.918 sebesar 33,00%.Marjin pemasaran pola (1 dan 2) dan pola (1 dan 3) terdapat perbedaan antara tiap pola, sedangkan pola (2 dan 3) tidak terdapat perbedaan antara tiap pola. Kata Kunci: Pola saluran pemasaran; marjin pemasaran; efisiensi pemasaran ABSTRACT The aims of this study is to know about various patterns of marketing channel, margin and efficiency of marketing boiler chicken at Grobogan Regency. This study was carried out in October until November 2014 at Grobogan Regency. Collected data were includes the premiere data and secondary data. Data analysis of marketing channel pattern discussed in the descriptive and marketing margin testing each test pattern in the marketing channel with independent sample t test. Study result is 3 patterns of marketing channels this is pattern 1: producer-core-wholesalers-market traders-retailer-costumers. Pattern 2: producer-core-wholesalers-market traders-costumers.Pattern 3: producer-core-wholesalers- costumers. The average marketing margin is  pattern 1 (long) Rp 13.951 amount 37,57%, pattern 2 (medium) Rp 11.262 amount 30,33 % dan pola 3 (short) Rp 11.918 amount 33,00%. Marketing margin of pattern  (1 and 2) and pattern (1 and3). There is difference between each pattern. While the pattern (2 and 3) there is no difference between each pattern. Level marketing on each pattern is a pattern of 1 (long) marketing efficiency 53,50%, pattern 2 (medium) amount 58,51% and pattern 3 (short) amount 57,43% the result of relatively efficient because the efficiency of marketing said to be efficient because more than 40% the price level of costumers.Keywords: Pattern marketing; channels; margin

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh rasio energi protein terbaik dalam ransum berbasis limbah perkebunan sawit terhadap undegraded protein (UDP) dan kecernaan protein secara in vitro. Penelitian dilakukan secara in vitro dengan rancangan acak legkap 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian adalah T1 (TDN (total digestible nutrient) 60%, PK (protein kasar) 12%), T2 (TDN 63%, PK 12%), dan T3 (TDN 66%, PK 12%). Data hasil penelitian diuji dengan ANOVA taraf 5%, apabila terdapat pengaruh perlakuan (p<0,05) dilanjutkan uji wilayah Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rasio energi-protein pakan lengkap berbasis limbah sawit berpengaruh nyata meningkatkan UDP (p<0,05) tetapi kecernaan protein tidak berpengaruh. Rata-rata persentase UDP pada T1, T2, dan T3 berturut-turut adalah 30,06; 31,09 dan 32,18% sedangkan persentase kecernaan protein 65,31: 66,31 dan 67,59%. Simpulan penelitian adalah pakan lengkap berbasis limbah perkebunan sawit dengan rasio energy-protein 5,5(PK 12%, TDN 66%) menghasilkan UDP terbaik dan meghasilkan kualitas kecernaan protein terbaik.Kata kunci : pakan lengkap; limbah perkebunan sawit; UDP; kecernaan protein; in vitro ABSTRACT            The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of energy-protein ratio of complete feed made from palm oil waste towards undegraded dietary protein and digestible protein in vitro. This research was done with a completely randomized design of three treatments and five replications. The treatments research were T1 (TDN 60%, CP 12%), T2 (TDN 63%, CP 12%), and T3 (TDN 66%, CP 12%). Data were analyzed with ANOVA test, if effect of the treatment was significant (p<0,05), it would be continued with Duncan Multiple  Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that level energy protein ratio of complete feed made from palm oil waste significantly (p<0,05) increasing value of  UDP however digestible protein was not affected. The average value of UDP on T1, T2 and T3 were 30,06; 31,09 and 32,18%, respectively, whereas, the digestible protein were 65,31: 66,31 and 67,59%, respectively. The conclusion, the complete feed made from palm oil waste with level energy protein ratio 5,5 (CP= 12%, TDN 66%) resulted the best UDP and quality digestible protein.Keywords: complete feed; palm oil waste; UDP; digestible protein; in vitro.

Abstract

Lima belas ekor kambing Kacang jantan dengan bobot badan (BB) sekitar 14,28 ± 3,36 kg (CV = 23,55%), digunakan untuk mengukur tingkah laku makan kambing Kacang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkah laku makan kambing kacang yang diberi pakan dengan level protein-energi berbeda. Kambing tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi 5 kelompok dengan 3 perlakuan, yaitu pakan T1 (PK 9,20%; TDN 54,67%), T2 (PK 11,67%; TDN 58,61%), dan T3 (PK 18,33%; TDN 65,23%). Parameter yang diukur adalah konsumsi pakan, lama waktu yang digunakan untuk makan, ruminasi, serta efisiensi waktu makan dan ruminasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan PK yang berbeda tidak memberikan perbedaan yang nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan, tingkah laku makan dan efisiensinya.

Abstract

The research was aims to determine the influence of various feeding frequency and feed restriction on protein utilization of broiler chicken which includes the consumption of protein, protein efficiency ratio and nitrogen retention The experiment used 200 days old chick broilers unsex. Feed rations were calculated 22,69% crude protein; 2930 kcal/kg metabolizable energy. Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 5 replication was used in this experiment. Feed provided ad libitum at the age of 1-7 days. feed restriction (75% standard) with frequency of 8-21 days with treatment at T0 = ad libitum-feed; T1 = 4 times given at 06.00, 10.00, 14.00 and 18.00, T2 = 3 times gave at 06.00, 14.00 and 18.00, T3 = 2 times were gave at 06.00 and 14.00. Feed provided ad libitum at the age of 22-35 days. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to determine the effect diluent egg yolk toward quality of frozen semen of Java cattle. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD), each treatment was repeated 6 times consisted of 4 treatments those were T0 = diluents without egg yolks; T1 = 5%, T2 = 10%, T3 = 15%. Data analysis preparing with normality and homogeneity testing, when the data was normal and homogeneous will be followed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). If the resulting data is not normal and is not homogeneous so then be analyzed by non-parametric statistics, namely Kruskal-Wallis H-Test. The result showed average of semen quality before freezing T0; T1; T2; T3 for motility 40, 37,5; 43,3 and 38.3%; live percentage 23,52; 24,07; 33,67 and 25,51%; sperm abnormality 18,27; 21,27; 18,81 and 14,69%, respectively. Average of post thawing T0; T1; T2; T3 for motilitas 6,25; 4,17; 5,42 and 4,58; live sperm percentage 15,85; 12,18; 13,30 and 16,75%; sperm abnormality 17,08; 13,15; 10,5 and 16,28%, respectively. Supplementation up to 15% of egg yolk in extender was not affected to semen quality.Key words: frozen semen quality, diluent of skim egg yolk, Java cattle.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengencer kuning telur terhadap kualitas semen beku sapi Jabres. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), setiap perlakuan diulangi 6 kali terdiri dari 4 perlakuan yaitu T0= Pengencer tanpa kuning telur; T1= 5%; T2= 10%; T3= 15%. Analisis data diawali dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, apabila data normal dan homogen dilanjutkan dengan analysis of variance (ANOVA). Apabila dihasilkan data yang tidak normal dan tidak homogen maka akan dianalisis dengan statistik non-parametrik yaitu Kruskal-Wallis H-Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian rata-rata hasil pengamatan pada saat before freezing T0; T1; T2; T3 untuk motilitas yaitu 40; 37,5; 43,3 dan 38,3%; persentase hidup yaitu 23,52; 24,07; 33,67 dan 25,51%; serta abnormalitas 18,27; 21,27; 18,81; dan 14,69%. Rata-rata hasil pengamatan pada saat post thawing T0; T1; T2; T3 untuk motilitas yaitu 6,25; 4,17; 5,42 dan 4,58%; persentase hidup yaitu 15,85; 12,18; 13,30; dan 16,75%; serta abnormalitas 17,08; 13,15; 10,5; dan 16,28%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan kualitas antar perlakuan persentase kuning telur. Jadi dapat disimpulkan penembahan kuning telur sampai 15% dalam pengencer skim kuning menghasilkam kualitas semen yang relatif sama.Kata kunci: kualitas semen beku, pengencer skim kuning telur, sapi Jawa.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama periode brooding dengan kandungan protein ransum yang berbeda pada fase starter terhadap produksi karkas ayam kedu hitam umur 10 minggu. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini anak ayam kedu hitam umur satu  hari (DOC) sebanyak 108 ekor (unsex) dengan bobot rata-rata 38,52 + 3,28 gram (CV= 4,70). Pakan yang digunakan dalam formulasi ransum adalah jagung, bekatul, bungkil kedelai dan tepung ikan. Ransum percobaan mengandung EM 2800 Kkal/kg serta PK 18%, 20%, 22% sesuai perlakuan dan ransum Finisher dengan PK 16%. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan Split Plot. Lama brooding (B) sebagai petak utama terdiri dari B1: lama brooding 1 minggu, B2: lama brooding 2 minggu, B3: lama brooding 3 minggu dan level protein (P) sebagai anak petak terdiri dari P1:18%, P2: 20%, dan P3: 22%. Rancangan dasar yang digunakan adalah RAL terdiri dari tiga ulangan dan tiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 4 ekor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh interaksi antara lama periode brooding dan level protein ransum terhadap produksi karkas. Perlakuan lama periode brooding menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh nyata terhadap produksi karkas, namun perlakuan level protein ransum menunjukkan hasil pengaruh nyata. Semakin meningkatnya level protein akan meningkatkan pula bobot hidup, bobot karkas dan persentase karkas ayam kedu hitam umur 10 mingguKata kunci : ayam kedu hitam; periode brooding; protein ransum; karkasABSTRACTThe present study was conducted to determined the effect of brooding period with different diet protein of phase starter on the carcass production of black kedu chicken age 10 weeks. The material used was 108 day old chick (DOC) black kedu chicken (unsex) with an average weight of 38.52 + 3.28 gram (CV = 4.70). Feed used in the formulation of diet is corn, rice bran, soybean meal and fish meal. The experimental diet containing metabolism energy 2800 Kcal/kg and crude protein 18%, 20%, 22% according to treatment and finisher diet with crude protein 16%. The experimental design used was split plot. Brooding period (B) as the main plot consists of B1: 1 week brooding period, B2: 2 week brooding period, B3: 3 week brooding period and protein levels (P) as the subplot consists of P1: 18%, P2: 20% and P3: 22%. The basic design used was completely randomized design consisting of three replicates and each unit consists of 4 individuals. The results showed that there was no interaction effect between brooding period and diet protein levels on carcass production. The treatment of brooding period showed no apparent effect on the production of carcass, but the treatment of diet protein levels showed a real influence results. The increasing protein level of diet will improve also live weight, carcass weight and carcass percentage of black kedu chicken age 10 weeks.Key word : black kedu chicken; brooding period; diet protein; carcass

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat permintaan produk susu bubuk balita dan pengaruh faktor pendapatan keluarga, harga susu, jumlah anak balita dalam keluarga, tingkat pendidikan Ibu dan pengetahuan gizi Ibu terhadap faktor permintaan produk susu bubuk balita. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2012 di Kecamatan Loli Kabupaten Sumba Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Metode penentuan sampel dengan metode Multistage Random Sampling yaitu memilih 3 desa dengan jumlah balita tertinggi, masing-masing desa dipilih 2 RW secara acak, masing-masing RW dipilih 2 RT secara acak, kemudian dari masing-masing RT yang terpilih ditentukan 5 responden secara acak dengan asumsi responden tersebut memiliki anak balita, sehingga total sampel 60 responden. Variabel yang dijadikan model penelitian adalah permintaan susu bubuk balita (Y), pendapatan (X1), harga barang (X2), jumlah anak balita dalam keluarga (X3), pendidikan Ibu (X4), dan tingkat pengetahuan gizi ibu (X5). Data yang diperoleh berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Data yang diperoleh berupa data Program SPSS versi 16.0 dengan model permintaan Y = a + b1X1 + b2X2 + b3X3 + b4X4 + b5X5 + e. Hasil regresi yang diperoleh adalah Y=-1,140 + 0,723X1 – 0,331 X2 + 0,218X3 + 0,032X4 + 0,071X5. Pendapatan keluarga (X1), harga susu (X2), jumlah anak balita dalam keluarga (X3), pendidikan Ibu (X4), dan tingkat pengetahuan gizi ibu (X5) secara serempak berpengaruh nyata (P ≤ 0,05) terhadap permintaan susu bubuk balita. Secara parsial permintaan susu bubuk balita dipengaruhi pendapatan keluarga (X1), harga susu (X2) dan jumlah anak balita dalam keluarga (X3), dengan R2 = 0,543.Kata kunci : Permintaan, rumah tangga, susu bubuk balita. ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to know the demand of toddler milk product and the influence of family’s earning, milk price, amount of toddler in family, level of mother education and mother’s nutrient knowledge to the demand of toddler milk product factor. This research was executed in Februari-Maret 2012 in Loli Sub District Sumba Barat Regency. Method which was used in this research is survey method. The method of sample determination with Multistage Random Sampling method that is chosening 3 villages with highest amount of toddler, each village selected 2 RWs at random, each RW selected 2 RTs at random, and then from each chosen RT is determined 5 respondents at random with the respondent assumption have todller, so the sum of sample is 60 respondents. Variable taken as research model is the demand of toddler milk product (Y), earnings (X1), goods price (X2), amount of toddler in family (X3), mother’s education (X4), and the level of mother’s nutrient knowledge (X5). The data were obtained is in the form of primary data and sekunder data. The data were obtained is in the form of SPSS program version 16.0 with demand model Y = a + b1X1 + b2X2 + b3X3 + b4X4 + b5X5 + e. Regresion result that obtained is Y=-1,140 + 0,723X1 - 0,331 X2 + 0,218X3 + 0,032X4 + 0,071X5. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research aimed to examine the influence of the effect of curcuma supplementation and Zn-proteinat on level of hemoglobin, hematocrit and alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity in subclinical mastitis of dairy cows. The material used 16 dairy cows (PFH) in with subclinical mastitis. The diet consist of elephants grass, field grass, tofu waste and concentrate. The experiment used were Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Four treatments were T0=Feed control without the addition of Curcuma xanthoriza and Zn proteinate, T1= Feed+2% Curcuma xanthorhiza suplement, T2=Feed+ 40 ppm Zn proteinate suplement, T3=Feed+2% Curcuma xanthorhiza suplement+40 ppm Zn proteinate suplement. Parameters measured were the level of hemoglobin, hematocrit and alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity. The results showed that the treatment were not significant effect (P> 0,05). The average on the level of hemoglobin before treatment T0, T1, T2, and T3 7,83; 9,13; 7,68 and 7,85g/dl , and after treatment and T0, T1, T2 and T3 9,30; 9,20; 8,65 and 9,33. The average on the level of hematocrit before treatment T0, T1, T2 and T3 27,50; 27,25; 26,25; 25,75%, and after treatment T0, T1, T2, T3 27,25; 27,25; 26,25 and 25,75%. The average on the alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity before treatment T0, T1, T2 and T3 95,75; 90,25; 91,50; 75,50 U/I, and after treatment T0, T1, T2, T3 128,10; 128,70; 83,10 and 108,90 U/I. This althought they were not significant deffernt this research showed third the additional curcuma and zn proteinat suplement increased the level of hemoglobin and alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity, but did not effect the level of hematocrit.Keywords: dairy cow, hemoglobin, hematocrit, alkaline phosphatase enzymABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan suplemen temulawak da Zn-proteinat dalam ransum terhadap kadar hemoglobin, hematokrit, dan aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis pada Sapi perah Peranakan Friesian Holstein (PFH) penderita mastitis subklinis. Materi yang digunakan adalah 16 ekor sapi perah Peranakan Friesian Holstein penderita mastitis subklinis. Ransum yang digunakan dari rumput gajah, rumput lapang, ampas tahu dan konsentrat. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK), dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian yaitu T0 (ransum kontrol), T1 (ransum + 2% suplemen temulawak), T2 (ransum + 40 ppm Zn-proteinat) dan T3 (ransum + 2% suplemen curcuma temulawak + 40 ppm Zn-proteinat). Parameter yang diukur adalah terhadap kadar hemoglobin, hematokrit, dan aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap terhadap kadar hemoglobin, hematokrit, dan aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis. Rata-rata kadar hemoglobin sebelum perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 7,83; 9,13; 7,68 dan 7,85 g/dl, dan setelah perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 9,30; 9,20; 8,65; 9,33; rata-rata kadar hematokrit sebelum perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 27,50; 27,25; 26,25 dan 25,75 %, dan setelah perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 27,25; 27,25; 26,25 dan 25,75 %, dan rata-rata kadar aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis sebelum perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 95,75; 90,25; 91,50 dan 75,50 U/I, setelah perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 128,10; 128,70; 83,10 dan 108,90 U/I. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan suplemen temulawak da Zn proteinat dalam ransum mempengaruhi terhadap kadar hemoglobin dan aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis. Namun, tidak mempengaruhi kadar hematokrit.Kata kunci: sapi perah, hemoglobin, hematokrit, enzim fosfatase alkalis

Abstract

ABSTRAK          Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui tingkat keuntungan, mengevaluasi profitabilitas, mengevaluasi pengembalian nilai investasi dan mengevaluasi kelayakan proyek dari nilai benefitusaha ternak ayam petelur UD. Balebat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Variabel yang diamati meliputiReturn On Investment (ROI), Payback Periode (PP), dan Benefit CostRatio(B/C Ratio). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan populasiUD. Balebat 12.167 ekor, ROI 47,94%,mampu mengembalikan investasi yang ditanamkan PP sebesar 1 tahun 7 bulan 13 hari dan B/C ratio sebesar 1,57. Simpulan penelitian adalah perusahaan UD. Balebat layak dijalankan dan menguntungkan.Kata Kunci : ROI; PP; B/C ratio ABSTRACT             The purpose of this research were to know level of profit,capability of getting profit,capability of return investment,time capability of return investment,capability to know ratio of getting profit from production cost on UD. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipologi ferning sapi betina Jabres berdasarkan periode berahi di Desa Malahayu Kecamatan Banjarharjo Kabupaten Brebes Jawa Tengah. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 13 ekor sapi Jawa Brebes (Jabres) betina milik petani peternak yang dipelihara secara umbaran. Metode pengambilan lendir serviks dengan menggunakan metode ulas vagina, lendir diambil sebanyak 2-4 kali dalam sehari. Gambaran ferning diperoleh dengan cara mengoleskan lendir serviks yang menempel ada cotton bud di atas object glass, dikering udarakan kemudian diamati dengan bantuan mikroskop pada pembesaran 10 x 10. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada 13 ekor sapi selama satu siklus estrus bervariasi antara 11-19 hari. Tipologi ferning sapi Jabres secara spesifik dapat menunjukkan tahapan siklus estrus. Gambaran tipologi ferning sapi Jabres betina diperoleh bervariasi, berupa garis-garis seperti jarum dan bercabang. Gambaran ferning mendekati puncak estrus terlihat jelas dan nyata membentuk daun pakis.Kata kunci: siklus berahi, lendir serviks, ferning, sapi jabres betinaABSTRACTThe research was conducted to learn about ferning typology based on estrous cycle period of javanese cattle breed in the Village District Malahayu Banjarharjo Brebes in Central Java. The material used in this study were 13 cows Java (Jabres) farmers' breeder females reared umbaran. Cervical mucus method of making pillowcase using vaginal mucus taken 2-4 times a day. Ferning’s picture obtained by applying cervical mucus swab stick was above the glass object, aired dried and then observed with a microscope at a magnification of 10 x 10. The results showed that in 13 cows during the estrous cycle varies between 11-19 days. This could be can refer to typology ferning’s Jabres specifically showed estrus cycle stage. Preview typology Jabres female cow ferning obtained varied, such as lines such as needles and branches.
