Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style on employee performance at the District Horticulture and Food Crops Service. Paser The location of the research was carried out at the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture, Paser Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style which includes the variables of Autocratic Leadership Style (X,), Democratic Leadership Style (X2), and Laissez-faire Leadership Style (X) on Employee Performance (Y) in the District Food Crops and Horticulture Service. Paser. This type of research is quantitative research with the analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis processed with the help of SPSS (Statistical Packages For Social Sciences). From the results of the study, the results of the validity test were obtained from the number of questions as many as 13 items, all of which had an r count value that was more than the rasset value = 0.2480, which meant that all questions were valid. From the results of the reliability test, it can be seen that a result of 0.785 is obtained, which means that the questionnaire items can be said to be reliable (proper) because Cronbach's Alpha > 0.6. The regression equation Y=-0.077 + 0.300 X + 0.718 X + 0.012 X. The magnitude of the correlation coefficient (R) is 0.767. This shows that there is a strong relationship between the variables of Autocratic Leadership Style (X,), Democratic Leadership Style (X), Laissez-Faire Leadership Style (X) on Employee Performance (Y) in the Food Crops and Horticulture Office of Paser Regency. While the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.588. This shows that 58.8% variation or change in the value of the dependent variable (employee performance) can be explained by the independent variable (leadership style) consisting of autocratic leadership style (X), democratic leadership style (X2), laissez-faire leadership style (X) , then 41.2% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

The research was conducted at the Department of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives & Small and Medium Enterprises, Paser Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Supervision consisting of Internal Supervision (X1), External Supervision (X2), Preventive Supervision (X3), and Repressive Supervision (X4) on Employee Performance (Y) at the Office of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives & Small and Medium Enterprises of Paser Regency. The population in this study were all employees, totaling 213 people and the samples taken in this study were 83 people. The validity test has a value of 17 questions, all of which have a value greater than 0.2159 or rcount > rtable, which means that it can be concluded that all questions are valid. The reliability test obtained a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.731 and this value was greater than 0.60 or 0.731 > 0.60 so that the questionnaire used could be declared reliable. Partially the variable Repressive Supervision (X4) has a partial effect on Employee Performance (Y) tcount > ttable (4.574 > 1.99085) and the variables of Internal Control (X1), External Monitoring (X2), Preventive Control (X3) have no partial effect on Employee Performance (Y) tcount < ttable Internal Monitoring (X1) (0.221 < 1.99085), External Monitoring (X2) (1.044 < 1.99085), Preventive Monitoring (X3) (0.145 < 1.99085) . Because the tcount results of Repressive Supervision (X4) are greater than tcounts of Internal Supervision (X1), External Supervision (X2), and Preventive Supervision (X3), Repressive Supervision (X4) is declared to have a dominant influence on Employee Performance (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress on employee performance at PT. Zusuki Finance Indonesia Balikpapan Branch. The research location was carried out at PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia Balikpapan Branch. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work stress which includes individual stress variables (X1), environmental stress (X2), organizational stress (X3), on employee performance (Y) at PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia Balikpapan Branch. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis which is processed with the help of SPSS (Statistical Packages For Social Sciences). From the research results, the validity test results were obtained from the number of questions as many as 13 items, all of which had an rcount value that was more than rtable = 0.355, which meant that all questions were valid. From the results of the reliability test, it can be seen that a result of 0.905 is obtained, which means that the questionnaire items can be said to be reliable (proper) because Cronbach's Alpha > 0.6. Regression equation Y = 0.678 – 0.138X1 + 0.225X2 + 0.687X3. The magnitude of the correlation coefficient (R) is 0.924. This shows that there is a strong relationship between the variables Individual Stress (X1), Environmental Stress (X2), Organizational Stress (X3), on Employee Performance (Y) at PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia Balikpapan Branch. While the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.853. This shows that 85.3% of the variation or change in the value of the dependent variable (employee performance) can be explained by the independent variable (work stress) consisting of individual stress (X1), environmental stress (X2), and organizational stress (X3), then 14.7% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation (Physiological needs, security needs, social needs, esteem needs and self-actualization needs) on employee performance at the Tanah Grogot Village Office, Paser Regency. And which variable among the motivational variables has the dominant influence on employee performance. The benefit to be achieved in this research is that it can be used to improve performance in the future. From the results of the validity test, it can be seen that each item 1 to 16 has rcount valid, with a rcount of 0.3338 rcount>rtable, so each item is valid. Meanwhile, the results of the Cronbach's reliability test were negligent, namely 0.847 > 0.6, so all statement items can be stated as reliable. From the multiple linear regression analysis method, we get the function equation Y = 0.943+0.502X1+0.035X2+0.096X3+0.098X4+0.194X5. From the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.661 or 66.1%, the value of the coefficient of determination shows the large contribution of the independent variable (motivation) to the dependent variable (employee performance), while the remaining 33.9% is explained by other factors. Based on the partial test (T test) it is known that the motivation variable (X) obtained the largest tcount value of 4.575 while the ttable value is 1.69913, it can be seen that tcount> ttable or 4.575> 1.69913 this is also evidenced by a significant value of 0.000 so it can be concluded that the motivational variable (X) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) at the Paser District Office, Tanah Grogot, Paser District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of communication, teamwork, creativity on the performance of civil servants at the Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA) of Paser Regency. From the results of the validity test of the 18 valid statements and the significant limit of rtable 0.05 and the two-tailed test, the rtable value is 0.2876 while rcount > rtable for each statement in this study. The results of the reliability test of the Cronbach Alpha value were 0.903 the value of N of items 18. From the results of data analysis and data tabulation, it can be seen that the results of the regression equation Y = 0.477+0.404X1+0.245X2+0.242X3. Based on the calculation results, the R value (coefficient correlation) of 0.842 is at the relationship level of 0.80-1.000, which means that there is a very strong relationship between the variables Communication (X1), Teamwork (X2), and Creativity (X3) on Employee Performance (Y). Adjusted R Square value (coefficient of determination) is 0.688 or 68%. This shows that the variables Communication (X1), Teamwork (X2), and Creativity (X3)) contribute or contribute an effect of 80.9% on the Performance of Civil Servants (Y) at the Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA) Paser Regency . while the remaining 32% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

: Jayawijaya is a region that has traditional culture that still exists in the current era of globalization and will officially be 67 years old on December 10 2023. As one of the districts in the central mountainous region, it should be able to compete with other districts and cities, especially in terms of tourism. The contradiction felt in the last decade is that Jayawijaya has lost its attraction for local people and foreign tourists to come to visit. The aim of this research is to explore the potential of tourism that is oriented towards local wisdom values and environmental and cultural preservation, based on local communities (community based tourism), including marketing strategies for tourist attractions to provide economic benefits for the community in the long term. Specifically, this research is to find out and understand several things in order to formulate strategies in solving the problem of competitive and sustainable tourism potential.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the role of training and human resource development in improving work quality. The research method used was a literature review, articles were collected by searching using Google Scholar. The criteria for articles used are those published in 2018-2023. Based on the articles collected, the results showed that human resources are a very important asset for a company in supporting the achievement of company goals, so it is a necessity and necessity for companies to improve employee abilities and competencies through training and development. Training is an effort to increase short-term capabilities, while human resource development is an effort to increase employee competency in the long term.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the influence of the Placement variable (X) (Education, Work Knowledge, Work Skills and Work Experience) on Employee Performance (Y) at the Class II Tanah Grogot District Court Office. The sample consisted of 34 employees, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The questionnaire with 13 statements was tested for validity and reliability before multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The instrument test results show good validity and reliability. Regression equation: Y = 1.460 – 0.133 X1 + 0.398 X2 – 0.133 X3 + 0.551 X4. The correlation between the Placement variable and Employee Performance is strong (R = 0.762). The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2) is 52.2%, the remainder is explained by other variables. The F test shows a significant effect simultaneously (Fcount > Ftable, p-value < α), rejecting H0. The t test shows that Job Knowledge (X2) and Work Experience (X4) have a significant effect on Employee Performance, while Education (X1) and Work Skills (X3) are not significant. The dominant variable is Job Knowledge (X2) with the highest t-count (3.198) and the lowest significant value (0.003). In conclusion, the Job Knowledge variable has the most significant influence on employee performance at the Class II Tanah Grogot District Court Office.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the influence of Organizational Culture (X) on Employee Performance (Y) at the Paser Regency Manpower and Transmigration Service. Organizational Culture Variables (X) consist of Innovation and Risk Taking (X1), Attention to Details (X2), Results Orientation (X3), People Orientation (X4), Team Orientation (X5), Aggressiveness (X6), and Stability (X7). The sample consisted of 61 employees using a saturated sampling technique. Testing the validity and reliability of the questionnaire was carried out before multiple linear regression analysis. The results show 32 valid and reliable statements. The regression equation found is Y = 0.539 + 0.507 X1 + 0.074 X2 - 0.099 X3 + 0.017 X4 - 0.001 A multiple correlation of 0.910 shows a very strong relationship between Organizational Culture and Employee Performance, with an adjusted R Square value of 80.5%. Simultaneous testing shows that overall organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance (Fcount > Ftable, p-value < 0.05). Partial testing indicates that the variables Innovation and Risk Taking (X1), Aggressiveness (X6), and Stability (X7) have a positive effect on Employee Performance. However, the variables Attention to Details (X2), Results Orientation (X3), People Orientation (X4), and Team Orientation (X5) do not have a significant influence. Thus, the hypothesis that Aggressiveness (X6) has a dominant influence on Employee Performance is not proven.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the influence of product quality and price on the decision to purchase purebred chicken eggs at the Udin Egg Agent at the Pemembolum Senaken Tanah Grogot Main Market. Validity and reliability tests were carried out to ensure the credibility of the research instrument which consists of 19 statements. The results show that all statements are valid and reliable, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.896, indicating a strong relationship between product quality (X1), price (X2), and purchasing decisions (Y). Multiple linear regression analysis produces the equation Y = 0.537 + 0.513X1 + 0.359X2, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 80.3%, indicating that product quality and price contribute 80.3% to purchasing decisions. The results of the F test confirm that simultaneously, product quality and price have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, with Fcount (54.957) > Ftable (3.35). The partial regression coefficient test shows that individually, both product quality (t = 3.644) and price (t = 2.765) have a significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y). The results of the t test state that the most dominant variable influencing purchasing decisions is product quality (X1) with a t count of 3.644 and a significance level of 0.000. These findings contribute to understanding the factors that influence the decision to purchase purebred chicken eggs in the broiler market. The practical implications of this research can help Udin Egg Agents to improve their marketing strategies by focusing on improving the quality of their products.
