Abstract

This research investigates the capacity of incorporating indigenous knowledge into the traditional craft of Batik Pekalongan to promote character education and facilitate learning. Batik Pekalongan, an Indonesian textile, is a cultural legacy extending beyond its conventional fabric use. UNESCO has officially designated it as an intangible cultural treasure. The study technique used is a qualitative literature review. The results indicate that including Batik Pekalongan in the curriculum may successfully cultivate robust character attributes in children, including honesty, collaboration, and responsibility. Engaging in partnerships with local batik communities and artists may further enrich students' educational experience via their direct involvement in the batik-making process. This research emphasizes the possibility of using indigenous wisdom in traditional craftsmanship to foster desirable personality qualities and provides a viable alternative to standard character education methods. By integrating indigenous knowledge, education may become more context-specific, pertinent, and efficient in fostering persons with strong moral values and principles.

Abstract

Low levels of education impact a lack of understanding of the environment importance. One serious effort to increase awareness of environmental protection and management is through the world of education, both formal and non-formal education. Schools become a forum for conducting environmental education through holding environmentally friendly schools. This research aims to analyze the internalization of environmental care in schools through the Adiwiyata program. This research uses a qualitative approach. The location of the study was at Junior High School 1 Panawangan Grobogan. Researchers collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation methods. Interviews were conducted with the civic education teacher, six students, the school principal, and the chief coordinator of the Adiwiyata program. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing were carried out by researchers as data analysis techniques. This research shows that internalizing environmental care can be done by implementing the components of the Adiwiyata program at Junior High School 1 Panawangan. Apart from that, the program is also supported by strengthening civic disposition given to Civics subjects. The Adiwiyata program combines learning and action that effectively changes student behavior to be more participatory in protecting the environment. This research has implications for schools to be able to collaborate with external parties such as environmental agencies, NGOs and environmental communities to increase students' understanding of current ecological issues. This collaboration can involve outreach activities, field trips, and environmental projects that actively involve students.

Abstract

Teachers are at the forefront of building students' competencies for junior high school education, especially local wisdom-based civic competence, but during the implementation of the independent curriculum, the competencies mastered by students are still not optimal. This study aims to ascertain the level of local wisdom-based civic competence that students possess, the challenges that Pancasila subjects present to students in developing local wisdom-based civic competence, and potential solutions for fostering local wisdom-based civic competence in the era of independent curricula. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Pacitan, and the research subjects were students. This research uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive research method because it tries to describe the competencies mastered by students, the obstacles to building them, and solutions to these obstacles, especially those related to local wisdom-based civic competence in the era of an independent curriculum. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation, and the data analysis used is interactive data analysis. Students have not been able to master civic competence optimally because they have not been able to implement civic disposition optimally and master civic disposition and civic skills more. This can happen because there are several obstacles, namely less than optimal teacher competence, unsupportive facilities and infrastructure, teachers being often late in starting lessons, poor student ethics towards teachers, and still teachers who cannot utilize digital-based learning media. The solution that needs to be done is for the government to make a policy to provide education and training to teachers related to understanding and implementing the Merdeka curriculum. This needs to be done so that each teacher can improve his competence so that his role in the learning process can increase civic competence based on local wisdom in students.

Abstract

This research is a type of socio-legal research with a qualitative approach that, in collecting data, uses two types of data sources: primary from interviews with informants and secondary obtained from reading book searches and product analysis of applicable laws and regulations related to persons with disabilities. This study aims to determine the extent to which the fulfillment of the right to work for persons with disabilities has been carried out in the City of Surabaya by the City Government through the performance of authorized regional institutions and the underlying legal products. This research is a topic that is quite important and has urgency today because, considering the increasingly rapid current of modernization now, it does not necessarily improve the quality of fulfilling human rights (HAM), especially for people with disabilities, who often receive discrimination from the surrounding environment, especially in the field of work. In the field of work, persons with disabilities have the same rights as non-disabled workers, as explained in the 1945 NRI Constitution Article 28D Paragraph (2). A derivative of the reading of the Article of the Constitution is in Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, which also discusses employment rights for persons with disabilities. In the future, Local Regulation to protect disabled persons is needed.

Abstract

The development of highly advanced technology has changed the pattern of people's lives in fulfilling information needs. All forms of information obtained will spread very quickly and even difficult to control. We cannot avoid that currently people from all walks of life are increasingly "lulled" by the sophistication of technology such as cellphones to smartphones which are of course equipped with various applications that make it easier for users. However, this convenience is not accompanied by control from various parties, causing a negative impact commonly called Cyberbullying. This paper describes how cyberbullying cases affect school-age children so that the participation of related parties such as schools is needed. In addition, this paper also describes the policies implemented in schools to deal with cyberbullying cases sourced from several writings or articles. The research method used is library research where researchers collect various sources from several research results and libraries. For this research, researchers took various sources from Google Scholar. From the articles, it is recommended that some policies can be offered to schools to anticipate and prevent Cyberbulling behavior.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology has potential benefits and challenges that the law of awareness must overcome. Behavior contrary to legal norms often appears in AI, which can harm and endanger the nation's life. The low compliance and moral awareness of AI users that is not in line with Pancasila values has led to the emergence of various conflicts in society. This study aims to explore three aspects related to the use of AI. First, students' perceptions of the use of AI. Secondly, the use of AI technology based on Pancasila values; third, efforts to form legal awareness of the use of AI Technology. The study results show that almost all students know and have used AI technology, especially in academic activities. This research was conducted using qualitative methods and a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, distribution of questionnaires, and interviews with 205 students of Sebelas Maret University as respondents. In addition, literature studies and interviews were also conducted with several key informants. Data processing uses the triangulation method, which uses interactive model data analysis from Miles & Huberman. To use AI wisely and follow Pancasila values, students must understand the ethics and laws of using this technology.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile must be implemented in students to cultivate their capacity, accomplishments, and virtuous demeanor. The objective of this project is to create an interactive multimedia encyclopedia learning tool for Pancasila and citizenship education, with the purpose of enhancing the knowledge and understanding of Pancasila among students at Korpri Karawang High School. The study methodology employed is a research and development technique utilizing the ADDIE paradigm, incorporating a mixed method approach. Methods for gathering data using a questionnaire. The employed data analysis techniques include deductive analysis, inductive analysis, reliability testing, validity testing, normalcy testing, homogeneity testing, independent samples mean testing, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicated that the evaluation of the civic education Encyclopedia learning media validation tool demonstrated its suitability at a rate of 80%. After being provided with civic education encyclopedia learning material, there has been a notable disparity in the enhancement of the Pancasila students' profile among the class X students at Korpri Karawang High School. The comparative sample test conducted on the experimental class using the paired sample test yielded a significance result of 0.000. This indicates that the null hypothesis H0: μc = μk is rejected, as 0.000 is less than 0.05. Consequently, the alternative hypothesis H1: μc > μk is accepted. The research suggests that teachers should include technology into the learning process by utilizing civic education encyclopedia learning media products. These products may be effectively utilized to enhance student learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the instillation of nationalism values in ubrug-based learning. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative research. The research results indicate that the ubrug method or role-playing in instilling nationalism can enhance the students' nationalist attitudes. Students not only portray characters in the story being presented but also can extract the values contained in the performing arts, especially those related to nationalism, which is the goal of the learning process using the ubrug method or role-playing. Furthermore, the use of the Sundanese and Javanese Serang local languages continues to endure with the preservation of local wisdom, including folk theater like ubrug. However, the use of the local language also faces obstacles in the staging of ubrug within the school environment because there are students who are not native to Banten. Hence, they need to learn and adapt to the local language used in the ubrug theater performance.
