Abstract

The education enrollment rate is crucial for Indonesia to improve its human resources and sustain its economic development. In reality, the dropout student rate is still relatively high. Previous research has highlighted several factors and models related to the dropout student rate in Indonesia. The purpose of the study is to identify the most popular statistical modeling and factors influencing school dropout in Indonesia. We searched in February 2023 using ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and Google Scholar. The search was restricted to refereed journal articles published in English from January 2013 to December 2022. This study underwent four stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. The study finds that the most popular statistical modeling is the Logistic Regression Model, and the most significant factor increasing the school dropout rate in Indonesia is family and economic factors. The findings suggest that children who were not attending school came from families with lower levels of education. The well-being of these families was directly linked to their children's educational status. The primary reasons for young students dropping out of elementary and junior schools include an inability to pay school fees and a desire to work on farms to support their parents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research & Development) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Diferensiasi berbantuan media Virtual Reality. Proses pengembangan Pembelajaran berbasis diferensiasi mengacu pada model pengembangan model 4-D oleh Thiagarajan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 21 Makassar dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 32 orang dan guru mata pelajaran Biologi sebanyak 2 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran, angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan serta instrumen tes berupa soal-soal pilihan ganda. Data tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket serta data tingkat keefektifan dengan tes hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri atas teknik non tes dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi modul ajar, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, Media, dan Tes Hasil Belajar yang bersifat valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan hasil belajar peserta didik. Perangkat pembelajaran berada pada kategori terlaksana seluruhnya, respon guru dan peserta didik masing- masing berkategori sangat praktis dan praktis. Perangkat pembelajaran berkategori efektif dengan ketuntasan tes hasil belajar masing-masing sebesar 82,4%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat solusi kecanduan narkoba dengan menggunakan model matematik SEIR waktu tunda, menganalisis model, dan memberikan solusi permasalahan penyalahgunaan atau kecanduan narkoba di Kabupaten Bone. Data yang digunakan yaitu data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Polres Bone dan BNN Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi masalah; mencari studi literatur; menentukan asumsi, variabel dan parameter yang digunakan; membangun model matematika; menganalisis model; mengumpulkan data; memberikan solusi permasalahn penyalahgunaan atau kecanduan narkoba. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model matematika SEIR waktu tunda penyalahgunaan atau kecanduan anrkoba dalam bentuk sistem persamaan diferensial, titik kesetimbangan bebas kecanduan narkoba dan titik kesetimbangan terjadinya kecanduan narkoba yang bersifat stabil, terlihat bahwa bilangan reproduksi dasar untuk simulasi diperoleh (R_0) =5,005544522>1. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kasus kecanduan narkoba di Kabupaten Bone akan menyebar dengan cepat dan akan terus bertambah. Berdasarkan simulasi yang dilakukan menggunakan software matematika diperoleh bahwa semakin lama waktu penundaan maka semakin cepat populasi yang mengalami kecanduan narkoba akan berkurang, begitu pula sebaliknya

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui luasan tingkat kesesuaian lahan aktual tanaman jahe gajah (zingebel officinale rosc). Ditemutunjukkan melalui evaluasi kesesuaian lahan dengan pendekatan satuanlahan (tumpangsusun peta penggunaan lahan, peta tanah, peta lereng, dan peta bentuklahan) menggunakan metode stratified random sample. Pengambilan contoh tanah dititik sampel, analisis data menggunakan metode matching. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik lahan bervariasi, beriklim basah; suhu udara berada pada 26,6°C; ketersediaan air sedang; media perakaran untuk drainase tanah mulai dari baik-agak terhambat; tekstur tanah dari lempung berdebu sampai liat; kedalaman efektif sedang sampai dalam; retensi hara untuk KTK tanah sedang sampai tinggi; pH tanah dari sangat asam sampai asam; kejenuhan basa dari 26 sampai 30; C-Organik sangat rendah-sedang; hara tersedia P2O5 (P tersedia) sedang sampai tinggi; K2O rendah sampai sedang; N-total 0,07 sampai 0,12% (rendah); potensi mekanismee untuk lereng dari datar, landai, agak landai, curam dan sangat curam; singkapan batuan tidak ada sampai sedang; batuan permukaan mulai dari tidak ada hingga banyak; dan bahaya erosi dari tidak ada sampai ada. Kesesuaian lahan tanaman Jahe Gajah berada pada kelas kesesuaian lahan ada 4 sangat sesuai (S1), cukup sesuai (S2), sesuai marginal (S3). Agihan kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman Jahe Gajah di Kecamatan Libureng diperoleh bahwa kesesuaian lahan S1 luasan lahan 4061,92 Ha. Kelas S2 (cukup sesuai) luasan lahan 23174,14 Ha. S3 (sesuai marginal) luasan lahan 5315,54Ha

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest posttest control group design. This study aims to determine the influence of the guided inquiry learning model on the science process skills of students in class XI MIPA on motion systems material. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, Southeast Sulawesi in 2022/2023 academic year. The study took XI MIPA 1 as experimental class and XI MIPA as the control class. Each class consisted of 30 students. Sample selection was done by random sampling. In the experimental class, the guided inquiry learning model was applied while in the control class was implemented direct instruction model. The results of the science process skills test using the t-test obtained t-count of 2.6837 and t-table at a significant level (α = 0.05) of 2.0484, so t-count > t-table. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model on the science process skills of XI MIPA class students on motion systems material at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, Southeast Sulawesi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of soft coral ethanol extract (Nephthea sp.) on the histopathological effect of mice (Mus musculus) lungs. Soft coral was extracted using 95% ethanol to obtain a viscous extract. Thirty mice were divided into six treatment groups in 3 replicates, the negative control group was only given standard feed, the positive control group was exposed to 37% HCl for 10 days, the preventive group 1 and 2 were given soft coral extract 0.5g and 1g respectively. orally on day 8 before being given 37% HCl for 10 days, and the curative group was given 0.5g and 1g soft coral extract, respectively, on day 19 after being given 37% HCl for 10 days. All mice were sacrificed and the lungs were taken for histopathological preparation using paraffin method and Hematoxylin-Eosin staining. Parameters observed were the alveolar membrane, the lumen of the alveolus, and the relationship between the alveoli. The results showed that there was an effect of giving soft coral ethanol extract (Nephthea sp.) to changes in the histopathological effect of mice's lungs. The preventive and curative group given 1 g of soft coral extract was more effective in reducing the level of damage to the lungs due to exposure to HCl 37%. The conclusion of this study was that the administration of soft coral extract (Nephthea sp.) had an effect on changes in the histopathological effect of the lung of mice.

Abstract

Fungal pneumonia is a type of lung infection that is often found in immunocompromised or immunodeficiency conditions. Fungal pneumonia or pulmonary mycoses that are often reported are aspegillosis, candidosis, cryptococcus, and histoplasmosis. Fungal infections, including fungal pneumonia, provide a high rate of morbidity and mortality in patients with impaired immune systems. This can be caused by fungi as a cause of lung infection is still less of a concern as well as in the provision of prophylactic therapy. Therefore, we reviewed several literatures including journals and consensus regarding appropriate management from prevention to treatment of fungal pneumonia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Liveworksheets media in the discovery learning model on HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) students of class IX B.I 2 SMP Negeri 6 Makassar (Science Subjects Inheriting Traits). The sample of this research is class IX B.I 2 which consists of 31 students. Learning activities were carried out for 5 meetings consisting of 1 pretest meeting, 3 learning process meetings and 1 posttest meeting. Data were collected using the HOTS test, and the learning implementation observation sheet. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results achieved after learning using Liveworksheets media in the discovery learning model of HOTS, are the individual mastery levels of the pretest and posttest students, namely 0% and 90.32%, and the average gain value is normalized for learning outcomes. Is 0.68 which is in the medium category. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the Liveworksheets media in the discovery learning model of HOTS is effective against HOTS students of class IX B.I 2 SMP Negeri 6 Makassar in the science subject matter of inheritance.

Abstract

Plants in Indonesia are very diverse and many of them are plants that can be used by the community as medicinal plants. One of them is the Javanese wood plant. Java wood is known to contain secondary metabolites such as alcohol, steroids, triterpenoids, phenolics, flavonoids, tannins, and saponins. This compound is a group of bioactive compounds that produce antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticancer and immunomodulatory activities. In this study, phytochemical testing of the compound content of the ethanolic extract of Javanese wood leaves was carried out and then looked at its effect on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The method used is to test the phytochemical content of alkaloid compounds, tannins, flavonoids and saponins. Observation of the effect of ethanolic extract of Javanese wood leaves on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria was carried out by testing the antibacterial activity of 96% ethanol extract of Javanese leaves with concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80 respectively. %. The results showed that 96% ethanol extract of Javanese wood leaves contained alkaloids with Dragendorff reagents, tannins, flavonoids, and saponins. In testing the antibacterial activity of the 96% ethanol extract of Javanese wood leaves at the specified concentration, there was an inhibition zone formed, namely at a concentration of 5% at 9.4 mm, 10% at 11.6 mm, 15% at 14.4 mm, 20 % is 11.5 mm, 40% is 15.6 mm, 60% is 18.7 mm, and 80% is 18.8 mm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the feed formulation Black soldier fly (BSF) Hermetia illucens consisting of fish and vegetable waste on the nutritional content of BSF larvae. This type of study is an experiment using 4,000 BS larvae that have entered the instar phase two. The maintenance of BSF larvae is carried out for 15 days. Feeding is carried out once in 2-3 days. This study used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 3 treatments and 3 repeats. Treatment A is 10% fish waste: 90% vegetable waste, B is 20% fish waste: 80% vegetable waste, C is 30% fish waste: 70% vegetable waste. The observed parameters, namely the content of nutrients in the body of BSF larvae was analyzed using proximate analysis. The data from the proximate analysis were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's advanced test with a confidence level of 95%, the results of the study showed that the behavior of C with 30% of fish waste and 70% of vegetable waste gave the best results with the highest protein content compared totreatments A and B. to the nutritional content of the larvae of BSF Hermetia illucens.
