Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of bench press and resistance band training on increasing arm muscle power and the results of gyaku tsuki punch speed in Lemkari Dojo karate athletes at Junior High School No 4 Medan in 2023. This research uses quantitative experimental methods. The population is 40 people and the research sample is 10 people. Dojo Lemkari karate athletes at Junior High School No 4 Medan by taking samples using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques for normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. Based on the results of the push up test, the hypothesis test obtained a t test value = 60.902 > 1.894, the results of the Gyaku Tsuki punch speed test for the hypothesis test obtained a t test value = 78.125 > 1.894. The results of the research show that there is a significant effect of bench press and resistance band training on increasing arm muscle power and the results of gyaku tsuki punching speed, which is supported by consistent implementation of training with appropriate intensity levels, so as to increase muscle power and punching speed periodically.

The results showed that the dominant category of biomotor components included flexibility "sufficient" 82.8%, power "excellent" 41.4%, arm muscle endurance category "moderate" 72.4%, abdominal muscle endurance category "moderate" 65.5%, back muscle strength category "moderate" 51.7%, leg muscle strength category "moderate" 44.8%, and VO2Max category "less" 48.3%. Based on the results of the research, male athletes who are recommended for promotion are 12 athletes and female athletes are 11 athletes. Conclusion: It was found that the biomotor component of power was better than the other components and there were significant differences in biomotor power and abdominal muscle endurance between promotion and relegation athletes.

Abstract

In the world of sports, there is a form of psychological training that is often used and proven to be effective in dealing with athletes' emotions, namely Motivational General Arousal (MGA) which is one part of imagery training. However, unfortunately, this form of training is still rarely applied in Indonesia, especially in the sport of Pencak silat. This study aims to examine the significant influence of the MGA form of training on reducing the emotions of pencak silat athletes. The experimental method used in this research was a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 18 East Belitung pencak silat athletes (9 women and 9 men). The MGA treatment was given for 5 weeks to the samples intensively, before and after the treatment the samples were given the Multidimensional Emotion Questionnaire (MEQ) to measure emotions. After the data was obtained, it was analyzed using SPSS Version 26 using the t-test. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence of the MGA form of training on improving the emotions of pencak silat athletes, which is also proven by all the graphs which decreased after being given Motivational General Arousal (MGA) imagery training with an average difference of 6%. This research concludes that the MGA form of training is recommended to be applied in the world of sports because this form of mental training can help athletes perform optimally when athletes can self-regulate their emotions and focus on the competition despite internal and external pressure.

This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using Kemmis and Mc Taggart design. The subjects of this study were State Kindergarten Pembina 4 Palembang with a total of 20 children. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. The research instrument used TGMD 2. This research includes classroom action research using a model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of 4 stages (planning, action, observation and reflection). Data collection techniques through observation and documentation. Data analysis technique using descriptive analytics. The results of this study indicate that children's motor skills improve through manipulative movements of ACIK (Cheerful and Creative Children) gymnastics. The increase in children's motor skills is shown by data from pre-action very good criteria obtained a percentage of 43.99%, while in Cycle I it became 68.91%, then in Cycle II it increased to 79.03%.

Abstract

Abstract The model of strength training that combines and varies from arm exercises on the success of South Sumatera rock climbing athletes. The subjects of this study were 30 rock climbing athletes participate in this study. The method used in this research is an experiment with a pre-post-test design (two-group pretest and posttest design). To determine the results of climbing, rock climbing athletes use climbing tests that have been validated by rock climbing experts, coaches, and academics. As the calculation results, it is shown that the value of Sig. group 1 (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05 then there is a remarkable difference between the pre-test and post-test strength training three push up movements. While the value of sig. group 2 (2-tailed) 0.00<0.05 thus there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test strength training three pull up movements. The variation of the three-movement push up strength training model and the three pull-up strength training model both provide a significant increase in the climbing results of rock-climbing athletes. The three push up and three pull up arm strength training model in this study provide a noticable contribution. Therefore, this study provides a scientific contribution and a reference for further research.

The instruments in this research were the Brumbach Forearms Pas Wall Volley Test and the AAHPER face pass wall-volley test. The data analysis technique uses the t test (paired sample t test). t Based on the t test results, the lower passing data has an Fcount of 13.265 and an Ftable value of 2.036 and a lower passing t sig of 0.000 < 0.05. These results mean that there is an influence of the free passing training model on the bottom passing skills of male volleyball players aged 12-14 years at Permata Volleyball Club. This free paasing training model is appropriate for coaches and the general public to implement for volleyball players aged 12-14 years.

Bullying is a significant issue in schools that negatively impacts students' physical and psychological well-being. It can disrupt learning, create an unsafe environment, and diminish the quality of education. Therefore, effective measures are crucial to prevent and address bullying in schools. The goal of this research is to assess the effectiveness of different learning methods in physical education to tackle bullying in schools and provide recommendations for relevant and effective strategies. The PICO method was utilized as a framework to screen and select pertinent articles. This method helps to evaluate various learning methods for preventing and addressing bullying in schools. Data collection began by searching for relevant articles from Google Scholar, CrossRef, and Scopus databases using the "Publish or Perish" search engine. Out of 991 articles reviewed, up to 12 focused on the cooperative learning model, which is recommended for implementation in physical education. This model has demonstrated the ability to enhance social skills and provide practical experiences related to bullying.
