Abstract

Pancasila is the basis of the state that becomes a reference in the life of the Indonesian people in carrying out all activities both in the form of a policy and implementatively in society. Fair and civilized humanity is one of the precepts in Pancasila which has moral teachings in daily life. Moral teachings have values contained in ancient manuscripts, especially before the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. The ancient manuscript is used as a reference for the community to be able to implement its teachings in daily activities. Sumedang Larang is a kingdom in West Java that still exists today. Sumedang Larang has ancient manuscripts or can also be referred to as Babad. Babad Sumedang by R.A.A Martanagara as one of the ancient manuscripts owned by Sumedang Larang is a babad that contains stories about the leadership of the Sumedang regent at that time. Until now, the implementation of the value of humanity and justice implemented by the Sumedang regent at that time has not been revealed, so it is interesting to reveal how the character of the Sumedang leader at that time, especially regarding the value of fair and civilized human values applied at that time. Abstract

This study aims to examine the forms of Sundanese language interference with Indonesian in the speech of bilingual communities in Bantarwangi Tourism Village, Serang Regency. Language interference is a common phenomenon that occurs in bilingual or multilingual communities, where elements of the first language (L1) influence the use of the second language (L2), both consciously and unconsciously. This phenomenon is important to study because it can impact the quality of communication, understanding of meaning, and the development of community language skills. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of community speech. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the interference that occurs covers various linguistic aspects, such as phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexicon. Examples of interference include pronunciation influenced by Sundanese accents, the insertion of Sundanese vocabulary into Indonesian sentences, and sentence structures that resemble Sundanese patterns. Factors causing interference include the intensity of Sundanese language use in daily life, educational background, and community attitudes towards both languages. These findings demonstrate that interference is a complex linguistic phenomenon and a reflection of the social and cultural identity of local communities. Therefore, efforts to improve Indonesian language literacy contextually are needed, without neglecting local cultural values

Abstract

The decrease in offline purchasing activity at the Rusunawa KS Tubun culinary kiosk poses a challenge for management in enhancing the residents' economic situation. This study analyzes the impact of service quality and transaction ease on offline purchasing decisions among consumers at the Rusunawa KS Tubun culinary kiosk. This study employs a quantitative research method utilizing Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. A total of 130 respondents were obtained using simple random sampling. The findings indicate that service quality positively and significantly influences offline purchasing decisions. Additionally, the ease of transaction significantly impacts offline food purchasing decisions. The model's R-square value of 0.643 suggests that the contribution of both variables to explaining offline purchasing decisions falls within the moderate to strong range. This finding highlights the significance of transaction ease in shaping an individual's decision during offline purchases.

Abstract

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools like ChatGPT and DeepL has significantly impacted the field of translation, especially in educational and language technology contexts. While both tools are known for producing relatively accurate translations, concerns remain regarding their quality and precision—particularly in journalistic texts, which often contain cultural nuances, idiomatic expressions, and distinctive stylistic features. This study aims to evaluate and compare the translation quality of ChatGPT and DeepL when translating Indonesian journalistic texts into English. Using a qualitative research method with a comparative analysis approach, three articles from Tempo.co were selected and translated using both AI tools. The translations were assessed using the Translation Quality Assessment (TQA) rubric by Nababan dkk., focusing on three aspects: accuracy, acceptability, and readability. The analysis identifies each tool’s strengths and weaknesses and its ability to convey meaning, cultural context, and style. The study’s findings are expected to offer an objective view of the effectiveness of AI-powered translation tools, providing practical insights for language practitioners, educators, and translators in critically selecting and using AI in translation tasks.

Abstract

This research analyzes the risks in the distribution flow of 3R Textile, a textile business that imports and distributes jersey materials from South Korea. Using a qualitative approach with direct observation, in-depth interviews, and event review, this study identified various internal and external risks. These risks include customs delays, rejected goods, manual recording errors, facility damage, fire, theft, and market demand fluctuations. Risk assessments were conducted based on severity and likelihood. The results form the basis for the formulation of mitigation strategies, such as digitizing records to reduce human error, strengthening quality control and supplier evaluation for rejected goods, establishing a creditworthiness evaluation system, and regular facility maintenance. The overall strategy aims to improve 3R Textile's operational resilience and competitiveness.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia, particularly in the fashion sector, has transformed consumer buying behavior. Shopee, as one of the leading platforms, has attracted millions of users, making it a key marketplace for new fashion products. This study aims to examine the influence of consumer innovativeness and brand reputation on consumers’ purchase intention toward new fashion products through Shopee. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 130 respondents in Jakarta who had purchased fashion products via Shopee. Data analysis techniques included validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using t and F tests with SPSS. The results showed that both consumer innovativeness and brand reputation significantly influence purchase intention, both partially and simultaneously. The findings emphasize the importance of building brand reputation and understanding consumer innovation traits to boost sales through e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

This study analyzes risk management in the procurement of raw materials at Warung Pecak Mpo Minun, a traditional Betawi culinary business that relies heavily on fresh ingredients to support its daily operations. The purpose of this research is to identify, classify, and assess the various risks encountered in the procurement process, and to develop effective mitigation strategies. The method used in this study is HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control), with data collected through direct interviews and on-site observations. The analysis reveals that Warung Pecak Mpo Minun faces several procurement-related risks, with key issues including delays in raw material delivery, discrepancies in order quantities, dependency on a single supplier, market price fluctuations, and potential declines in customer satisfaction due to menu unavailability. The risk assessment indicates that several of these risks fall within moderate to high severity levels, requiring immediate attention and mitigation to prevent more serious impacts on business continuity. The proposed mitigation strategies include establishing written contracts with suppliers, diversifying raw material sources, adjusting delivery schedules to be earlier, maintaining backup stock, and routinely monitoring raw material availability. These strategies are expected to enhance the operational resilience of Warung Pecak Mpo Minun against supply chain uncertainties, while also improving efficiency and ensuring long-term business stability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management at the 3Second warehouse located in Margonda, Depok. In warehouse operations, various risks may arise and hinder the distribution process and customer service. Therefore, structured and targeted risk management is necessary. This research used a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through direct field observation, interview with related paries, and document review. The analysis revealed several key risks, including inventory discrepancies, product damage due to improper storage, delivery delays, and a lack of a real-time integrated inventory system. To mitigate these risks, the company has taken several actions such as implementing stricter standard operating procedures (SOP), providing regular employee training, and planning to upgrade its information system using better technology. The study concludes that although risk management is in place, improvements are still needed, particularly in technology integration and routine supervision, to optimize warehouse and reduce disruptions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of online customer ratings and timeliness on purchasing decisions for J&T Express goods delivery services. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative research type. The sampling technique uses a non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling and involves 100 community respondents in the East Jakarta area. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires and documentation, and data processing uses SmartPLS 4.1.1.2 The results show that the online customer rating variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.000 <0.1 and a t-count of 6.279> t-table 1.65. Likewise, the timeliness variable has a positive and significant effect with a significance value of 0.000 <0.1 and a t-count of 4.714> t-table 1.65. Simultaneously, these two variables have a significant influence on purchasing decisions with an R-Square value of 0.620 indicating that 62.0% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 38.0% is influenced by other factors outside this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work safety and workload on the work productivity of GrabBike drivers in Pondok Aren District both partially and simultaneously. This research was conducted with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires in the Pondok Aren area. This study used probability sampling technique with purposive sampling approach, so that the sample members obtained were 104 respondents. The results showed that partially, Work Safety (X1) and Workload (X2) had a significant effect on Employee Productivity (Y), because it showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so H1 dan H2 were accepted, while H0 was rejected. Simultaneously work safety (X1) and workload (X2) have a significant effect on work productivity (Y) because it shows a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, in which case H3 is accepted and Ho is rejected. Future authors are expected to develop new research based on the results of this study by developing other variables, methods, analysis techniques, and research objects to be more useful and produce different variations in research findings.
