Abstract

Student discipline and parental education have become the object of study because of their impact on student achievement. The purpose of the study was to confirm the theory and the results of previous studies which stated that there was a relationship between discipline and parental education level on student achievement. The subjects studied were students from SD Sunan Giri Ngebruk Sumberpucung Malang, with the unit of observation being these students. Learning achievement is limited to Islamic Religious Education subjects. The research uses a quantitative approach, where data is obtained through a survey using a questionnaire. A total of 85 respondents' answers were processed using regression analysis. The results show that there is an influence between discipline, and the level of parental education on student achievement. The research has implications for the importance of disciplined learning behavior in children and the importance of highly educated parents in order to encourage children to be more enthusiastic about learning in order to improve their learning achievement.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the Arabic language learning program held at the Sunan Kalijogo Islamic Boarding School, with a focus on implementation management and the problems faced. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. While the data analysis through interactive qualitative analysis technique which consists of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the management of the implementation of the Arabic language learning program at the Sunan Kalijogo Islamic boarding school went well, seen from the activities the participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the course program, namely the participants could take part in the activities until the specified time limit. In order to maximize language learning, Arabic is used as a daily communication tool. The problems faced by Islamic boarding schools are the limitations of teaching staff, facilities and infrastructure and management in the learning program. Even though there are shortcomings, the learning program held by the cottage can still run smoothly and well, where in the allotted time (3 months), the participants have been able to master the Arabic language well.

Abstract

Pondok Modern Al-Rifa'ie 2 Malang has implemented the java-based sorogan method pegon in the learning of the book at-turats, because the characteristic of the islamic boarding school is to teach the holy book of the Qur'an and the book of turats, both modern and salaf huts. This study aims to: (a) find out the application of the Javanese pegon touch-based sorogan method in learning the book of at-turat for students at the modern Islamic boarding school Al-Rifaie 2; (b) knowing the advantages and disadvantages of applying the Javanese pegon touch-based sorogan method in learning the at-turat book for students in the modern islamic boarding school Al-Rifaie 2. Researchers use qualitative type research with a case study approach at the Al-Rifa’ie 2 Islamic Modern Boarding School. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, while data analysis uses the techniques of Miles Huberman and Saldana, namely: data collection, data condensation, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study the sorogan method is one of the methods used in balancing the application and learning of the at-turats poles in the Al-Rifa'ie Modern Cottage and the implication of this research is that teachers can develop and preserve the sorogan method in at-turats polar learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Arabic textbooks that are in accordance with KMA No. 183 of 2019 based on BSNP standards in terms of content/material eligibility, presentation feasibility, linguistic feasibility and graphic feasibility in class X books. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of literature study with primary data sources from class X Arabic books published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020. In this study the documentation method was used as a data collection method and combined with descriptive analysis as an analytical method. Thus, the data analysis technique used in this study is content analysis. The results of this study, the feasibility aspect of the content of the material is not appropriate in terms of the suitability of the material with KI and KD and the latest material. In the feasibility aspect, the presentation is not appropriate in supporting the presentation and learning presentation strategy. And in the aspect of language feasibility, the accuracy of language structure is still too high. However, other aspects are very appropriate and meet the standards set by the BSNP.

Abstract

Several cases of verbal violence against children occur in the surrounding environment. This is the background for parents in Indonesia, to entrust their children's education to Islamic boarding schools because they are considered to be a safe place from acts of violence. This study aims to describe how Islamic boarding schools replace the role of parents in Islamic boarding schools and what kind of efforts are made by Islamic boarding schools in overcoming verbal violence in children. The research was conducted at the Nurussalam Sidogede Oku Modern Islamic Boarding School, South Sumatra. The research uses qualitative methods that focus on the phenomenon of applying the living Qur'an in the field. Data were taken from interviews and written documents from Islamic boarding schools. The results of the study concluded that efforts to overcome verbal violence against children in the modern Islamic boarding school Nurussalam sidogede were: 1) with the existence of a student dormitory, speech, behavior and manners were monitored, 2) there were rules and discipline in Islamic boarding schools based on the Qur'an and hadith, 3) implementing Islamic boarding school values ​​into children, 4) Islamic syar'iyah factors, namely lessons taken in class based on the Qur'an and hadith and then applied in the daily life of students, namely students studying verses of the Koran surah al-hujurat verse 11 regarding the prohibition of verbal violence in the Koran and then the students practice this verse and it influences the students' speech and behavior.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to describe out the steps for using the qawaid wa tarjamah method in YouTube-based Nahwu learning, the benefits, and the obstacles experienced in using the qawaid wa tarjamah method in YouTube-based Nahwu learning at Mts Al-Mujahidin Samarinda and what are the solutions. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The technique of data collect is observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study are that learning steps using the qawaid wa translation method (Thariqah Qawa'id wa Al-Tarjamah), the material is presented via the youtube link, the benefits felt by using YouTube include helping and training the creativity of teachers in delivering material and students are more comfortable in understanding the material and can be repeated when there is a delivery that is not understood, students are also happy because the material presented is more interesting, and there are no serious problems in using this youtube, but the video editing process is still limited. The solution offered is, you can try other applications to explore more in the video editing process, for example toontastic, filmorago, powtoon, wondershare filmora , etc. Likewise, there are no serious problems felt by students because the teacher has given a solution.

Abstract

The goals of education in Indonesia are aligned with the goals of Islamic education, namely directing efforts to form perfect humans or Muslims, by developing their potential in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. On implementation. For educational institutions, efforts to achieve these goals provide an opportunity for the emergence of the concept of developing an Islamic Religion education curriculum that leads to how to integrate the teaching of faith and piety (imtak) with science and technology (science and technology). This article reviews the foundation on which the integration effort is based and the key driving factors for the successful implementation of this integration. The results of the study show that there are five implementation bases: religious, philosophical, juridical, psychological and socio-economic. Meanwhile, the key success factors include: curriculum support that integrates imtak and science and technology in learning; leaders, educators and educational staff as role models; availability of integrative books; Extracurricular activities that support integration.

Abstract

Fiqh learning is one of the Islamic religious materials that must be taught in madrasas. Researchers and practitioners of fiqh material try to find factors that can increase learning achievement and motivation. There is an assumption that one of the factors that determines the mastery of learning fiqh is the possession of language talent. Based on these assumptions, the study aims to determine whether the level of students' language talent has an impact on their learning achievement and motivation, by first disclosing the level of language proficiency, the level of learning achievement and the level of motivation to study specifically in Islamic Jurisprudence subjects. The research uses quantitative types with data collection techniques through questionnaire surveys for language aptitude variables and through documentation for students' learning achievement variables. The research was conducted on MTsN students in Malang Regency, with a sample of 122 respondents. The data obtained was then analyzed using a relationship test (causal) through linear regression. The results show that there is an influence of language talent on improving student achievement and motivation. This finding has implications for obtaining an important factor that must be considered by Fiqh teachers in an effort to improve their students' learning achievement and motivation, namely the factor of language talent.

Abstract

The concept of good character was popularized by Thomas Lickona by referring to the concept put forward by Aristotle as follows "the life of right conduct, right conduct in relation to another person and in relation to self", which means a life of good behavior/full of virtue is to behave well towards other parties (God Almighty, humans, and the universe) and towards oneself. There is one event that we can make an example of as a person with good character. Indonesia will become the fifth largest country in the world, so its people must be educated to contribute to the country and global civilization by having good character or values. The values ​​that must be taught to society from an early age are discipline, polite, honest, simple, clean, good deeds, frugal, patient, and exemplary. The way to teach good character or values is through educational institutions, both formal and non-formal. The learning process in value education involves mixing good values that you want to instill, facilitating students to learn actively, and using learning models that empower students. In addition to having to exemplify these values, educators, both teachers and lecturers, must also have insight into the concepts used in facilitating the learning process, namely the sources of norms, noble values that need to be developed, learning approaches and strategies, and understanding of students. The estuary of values education is the creation of a conducive and democratic atmosphere for improving human resources who are religious and have an international outlook based on Indonesianness and Islam. so that the character of a nation that is cultured and has noble character is formed, and a civilized and noble national civilization is realized as a strong pillar of civilization.

Abstract

This research aims to determine what applications are used by lecturers and students in learning and how it's effectiveness in supporting the learning process. The approach used in this research is qualitative, with data collection through observation, documentation, and interviews. To test the validity of the data, triangulation of sources, data and discussions with peers was used. Data was collected by interview via WhatsApp to ten students of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The result shows that lecturers and students using apps Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, E-learning and WhatsApp Group to support learning online. Lectures with these media often have problems with the signal or internet network, especially for students who live in areas with poor signal and do not use wifi and that will also have an impact on the quality of learning that students receive. However, this application media is still considered effective by the majority of students, because it has advantages in practicality, saves costs and time, and facilitates communication between lecturers and students.
