Abstract

This study is a qualitative and placed in UPT SMPLBN Kota Pasuruan. Subjects in this study is a blind student of class IX of the school year 2015/2016. The results showed that the thinking of blind students starts from the stimulus, stimulus in the form of problem enter into the sensory registers of blind students through the sense of tactile and auditory, and into short-term memory after previously through a phase of selective attention and perception, in the short-term memory old information in the form of concepts that are needed in solving the problem called from long-term memory (retrieval), when information leaves short-term memory, there are two possibilities occur that information will lead to long-term memory (encoding) and or will be forwarded towards the environment in the form of responses/answers to students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is describe the developed learning devices and produce learning devices based on constructivist by Gagnon and Collay on graphing data for students in class VII criteria valid, practical and effective. This learning device development referred to Plomp development model. The validations result that all devices satisfied valid criteria, learning devices satisfied practical criteria with teacher’s activity classified as good, and learning devices satisfied effective criteria, learning exhaustiveness reached, student’s activity classified as good, and student’s responses were positive. The developed devices satisfy quality criteria, which are valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning is a process to obtain a conclusion that is supported by mathematical premises known or assumed. This study aimed to describe the mathematical reasoning high (KT) and low (KR) performing students in solving quadratic equations. Subjects were asked solving quadratic equations with various methods of completion they controlled and conducted interviews to clarify results of his work. The results showed KT only capable of understanding the method of factoring and the quadratic formula, while the KR is not able to understand the methods of completion of quadratic equations. Both subjects did not understand the methods completing a square. Both subjects making conjecture, provide arguments and concluding. But both the subject does not check his work.

Abstract

This research aims to find relationship between career development, competence professional, motivation, with the performance teachers. This research using method quantitative approach with analysis statistic descriptif and path analysis. Research results indicate (1) there is a direct relationship between career development with the performance teachers; between career development with the motivation teachers; between competence professional with the performance teachers; between competence professional with the motivation teachers; and between motivation with the performance teachers; (2) there is a indirect relationship between career development with teacher performance through motivation teachers; between competence professional with teacher performance through motivation teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the professional behavior at school. The research location at institute of special recovery for children (ISRC) Class I Blitar. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Checking the validity of the data is done by three criteria namely triangulation, adequacy referential, and membercheck. The results indicate that the professional conduct of educators in elementary and secondary schools is reflected in the three professional competence include: pedagogical competence, personal competence and social competence.

Abstract

The vision of the university always aims at Tridharma of University. One of the implementation of Tridharma of University is scientific work. To achieve the vision is needful of strategy. Purpose of this research is to describe the strategy of improving lecturer’s quality in writing scientific work. This research was descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicates that: first, the institution has purposes in doing the strategy of improving lecturer’s ability in writing scientific work. Second, the implementation of strategy of improving lecturer’s ability writing scientific work contains of training, forming of lecturer scientific forum, the betterment of publication facility, funding the research and society submission, and giving the incentive as the appreciation. Third, there are motivation factor and obstacle in implementating the strategy.

Abstract

This research aims to develop media for learning of fable story wiritng for junior high school students that contain materials, examples, and exercises to achieve the indicators and learning objectives and to describe the feasibility of media for learning gained from expert judgement and field testing. Media for learning developed using macromedia flash program. The development model used was adapted from Borg and Gall development model. Aspect of the assessment in the media for learning is in terms of (1) content, (2) language, and (3) the display. From the results of the expert judgement and field testing, the overall product of learning media has been feasible to be implemented after going through revision stages.

Abstract

This research aims to produce writing short story teaching materials with the modeling conversion text. This research use a model of development Borg and Gall adaption. The result materials consist of five section. The materials tested to (1) Literary learning expert, (2) writing short stories expert, (3) writing short story teaching materials expert, (4) design graphic expert, (5) practitioners, and (6) student. Based on the test result obtained from the questionnare showed that teaching materials are decent and ready to be implemented.

Abstract

Purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of entrepreneurial knowledge, experience of industry practices, and creativity towards entrepreneurship readiness of vocational students computer engineering and network in Nganjuk. The design of the study using a quantitative approach. The samples used are as many as 200 students. Data were collected by questionnaires. Data analysis included descriptive prerequisite test, and regression analysis. The results showed: (1) the contribution of entrepreneurial knowledge on the readiness of entrepreneurship 50.1%; (2) The contribution of industry experience working practices to the readiness of entrepreneurship 47.7%; (3) contribution to the readiness of entrepreneurial creativity of 49.7%; and (4) the contribution of entrepreneurial knowledge, experience prakerin, and creativity to simultaneously towards entrepreneurship readiness of 61.5%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the prophetic aesthetics of novel Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan by Tasaro G.K. as a source of character education. This study used a qualitative approach in the study of literary texts. The research found that the humanism aspect includes four sub aspects; they are strengthening activities (1) personality, (2) assertiveness, (3) socialization, and (4) spirituality. Liberaze aspects of the novel Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan includes freeing and liberating activity of political repression, freeing and liberating activity of state repression, freeing and liberating activity of economic injustice, and freeing and liberating activity of gender injustice. Trancendence aspects of the novel Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan includes khauf, raja’, tawakkal, qana’ah, syukur, and ikhlas. These three aspects are representing the components of good character, that moral knowledge, moral feeling, and moral action.
