Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kondisi temperatur slow pyrolysis yang sesuai dari sampah kota terseleksi (segregated municipal solid wastes) guna menghasilkan bahan bakar padat alternatif (Refused Derived Fuel) secara berkesinambungan dengan menggunakan screw pyrolyser.Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka dilakukan rekaya peralatan proses slow pyrolisis secara berkesinambungan dalam skala laboratorium dengan menggunakan  screw pyrolyser yang tepat agar menghasilkan Refused Derived Fuel yang memiliki karakteristik produk minimal sama dengan hasil studi sebelumnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 5 variasi temperatur reaktor yaitu 3000C, 3500C, 4000C ,  4500C  dan 5000C ..Dengan menggunakan prototipe pyrolyser ulir dengan kemampuan proses 6 kg/jam, dengan produk char yang dihasilkan terbaik didapatkan pada komposisi 70 % sampah organik yang dipirolisa pada temperatur pyrolyser 450°C. Char yang dihasilkan mengandung kadar air 1,77 %, kadar abu 9,66 %, volatile matter 66,387 % dan karbon tetap 22,17% serta memiliki nilai kalor 6,86 kkal/gram. Efisiensi proses yang didapatkan berkisar 95,3%.

Abstract

Lake Toba is a lake located in Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province with a surface area of 1,124 km2 (112,400 ha). Lake Toba is located at a geographical position 2°41′N 98°53′E / 2.68°N 98.88°E with an altitude of 995 above sea level. The purpose of this study was to determine water quality in terms of chemical, physical, and biological parameters, as well as the status of water quality in Lake Toba. Determination of the sample point using the "sample survey method" which is the method of taking the sample by dividing it into several segments or points that can represent the population. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the quality of the waters of Lake Toba in Pangururan District is classified as not good, specifically nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia concentration. Those that are classified as good are temperature, pH, BOD5, O2, and COD. Water quality in Lake Toba is in the category of polluted lightly. Using biological analysis, Lake Toba waters in Pangururan District contain several phytoplankton, including Oocystis sp and Anabaena Sp.

Abstract

The purpose of the research: to develop a racing wheelchair for wheelchair racing activities for children with disabilities based on local anthropometry and ergonomics. This research is an RnD research, namely the development of media or sports equipment for children with physical disabilities. The research method used is the ADDIE method. The subjects of this study were two children with physical disabilities in SLB YPAC Surakarta. Data collection is obtained from library books, then looking for supporting paper data. After that, the data collected is analyzed, designing the development of a racing wheelchair, implementing and evaluating so that a conclusion can be drawn. Secondary data were obtained from literature books that underlie special education technology for children. Primary data is obtained from papers or journals on official websites on the internet. The data that has been collected is compiled and then analyzed, to obtain an appropriate conclusion. The results showed that children with physical disabilities need a racing wheelchair by the specifications of their needs, with high quality and affordable prices. Expert validators, practitioners, and users respond positively to the model developed through aspects of attractiveness, motivation, and convenience. The racing wheelchair design that has been developed is effective as a sporting tool for racing wheelchairs based on ergonomics and anthropometry through aspects of media convenience, display of media results and technical quality, the effectiveness of sports equipment. Conclusion: Children with physical impairment in doing sports activities need anthropometric and ergonomic local-based racing wheelchair technology.

Abstract

Nowadays, the implementation of chatbots in information systems is getting popular to increase user experience. In our previous research, we developed Undiksha Virtual Assistant (Shavira). Shavira is a knowledge management system (KMS) as Frequency Asked Question (FAQ) system to facilitate users to get an answer about their questions. The challenge on the existing Shavira system is that the users must open a website and type queries to get a list of answers. The text query must match with the keyword in systems. To address this problem and to avoid cognitive load, in this research we implemented a chatbot in Shavira. The purpose of the chatbot implementation in Shavira is to make information easier to be accessed and to increase user experience. The users can ask a question in natural language and get an answer immediately on their chat application such as: Telegram, Facebook, or Messenger. We used Rasa Framework as a chatbot engine in Shavira. Rasa Framework is an open-source virtual assistant engine based on artificial intelligence. The challenge in conducting this research is in integrating the existing FAQ system with Rasa Framework. This research consists of four phases, they are: adaptation data structure in the existing FAQ with data structure requested by Rasa framework, data integration and mapper, and evaluation. The result of this research is a new Shavira that is integrated with a chatbot and can be accessed from chat applications such as Telegram.  We evaluated the accuracy of Shavira powered by Rasa Framework with ten topics about academic information. The results showed that the accuracy of Shavira is 90%. We also evaluated the usability of Shavira with Software Usability Scale (SUS) Questionnaire. The usability evaluation showed that Shavira satisfied users with value  81 (threshold 68) and categorized Excellent, Acceptable and Prometer.

Abstract

This research aimed to observe quantitatively the effect of temperature and pH on protease activities from thermophilic bacteria collected from Lejja—Hot springs.  Spectrophotometry on the casein substrate was used to test the proteolytic activity of the crude protease.  Mixtures of enzyme and casein were incubated at various temperatures and pH for 20 minutes. The absorbance of tyrosine from protein hydrolysis was determined by spectrophotometry on λ 280 nm. Temperature and pH impacted on protease activity were determined at temperature (60; 65; 70; 75; 80; 85 and 90oC) and pH (6.0; 6.5; 7.0; 7.5; 8, 0; 8,5 and 9,0). Results showed that treatment of temperature variations and pH had a significant effect on protease activity. Crude extract of Bacillus licheniformis protease showed that the highest activity at 80oC and pH 7.5 was 0.1303 unit/ml/minute. Bacillus stearoformis showed the highest enzymatic activity of the protease at 85oC, and pH 7.5 was 0.1226 Unit/ ml/minute. In comparison, Bacillus coagulans reached optimum activity at 75oC, and pH 7.5 was 0.2052 Unit/ml/minute. Isolates of Bacillus licheniformis, B. coagulans and B. stearoformis are bacteria that produce thermostable protease enzymes that can be developed as a source of genes and as a producer of the enzyme itself.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Azolla mikrophylla Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ikan Lele Dumbo (Clarias gariepinus).”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui laju pertumbuhan ikan lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus) setelah diberi pakan  Azolla mikrophylla dan faktor fisik-kimia lingkungan yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ikan lele dumbo (Clarias  gariepinus). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan dalam 150 hari. Adapun perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Perlakuan S1: 100% Pakan Azolla , S2: 50 % Azolla dan 50% pelet, dan S3 : 100% pelet. Berdasarkan analisis statistik (Anova), pemberian jenis pakan berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap derajat kelangsungan hidup ikan lele dumbo (P > 0,05). Laju Pertumbuhan Panjang Spesifik (LPPS) ikan lele yang dipelihara selama 50 hari  berkisar antara 2,58-2,77%, sedangkan LPBS berkisar 6,58 – 6,76%. Efisiensi pakan rata-rata  (%) ikan lele dumbo selama pemeliharaan 50 hari adalah 12,07 – 25,76 %. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan bahwa pemberian jenis pakan berbeda menghasilkan efisiensi pakan yang berbeda nyata (p > 0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan ikan lele dumbo. Efisiensi pakan tertinggi didapat pada perlakuan A (100% Azolla) sedangkan efisiensi pakan terendah pada perlakuan C (100% Pelet). Kisaran suhu selama penelitian antara 27,33 – 27,44 0C. pH 7,88 -7,93 dan  DO 5,72 – 5,81.

Abstract

Pelindian bijih nikel laterit pada tekanan atmosfir menjadi perhatian karena memiliki beberapa kelebihan yaitu biaya operasional dan kebutuhan energi yang rendah. Dalam penelitian ini akan dipelajari pengaruh temperatur, konsentrasi asam, dan waktu pelindian terhadap persen ekstraksi nikel. Dalam penelitian ini variabel yang digunakan yaitu temperatur (80⁰C, 90⁰C, 100⁰C), konsentrasi asam sulfat (0,8 molar, 1,1 molar, 1,4 molar) dan waktu pelindian (80 menit, 90 menit, 100 menit). Agen pelindi yang digunakan yaitu larutan asam sulfat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh persen ekstraksi nikel tertinggi yaitu 91,430% pada temperatur 100⁰C dan waktu pelindian 180 menit. Hasil Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) menunjukkan urutan variabel yang paling yaitu konsentrasi asam sulfat (B), temperatur (A), waktu pelindian (C), interaksi temperatur-waktu pelindian (AC), interaksi temperatur-konsentrasi asam sulfat (AB), interaksi temperatur-konsentrasi asam sulfat-waktu pelindian (ABC), dan interaksi temperatur-waktu pelindian (BC).

Abstract

Most of the population in the Jombang District area uses groundwater from dug wells and bor wells to meet their daily water needs. The quality of water from these wells was not always well controlled. The purpose of this research was to assess the quality of groundwater for drinking water and map its distribution patterns in the research location. The type of this research was development research with a descriptive research design. The groundwater quality index value for drinking water was determined based on the water quality index model and then mapped its distribution spatially in the study area. The spatial distribution of groundwater quality for drinking water in the study area, both during the rainy season and the dry season was dominated by areas with good and very good groundwater quality. The spatial distribution model of groundwater quality can be used as an indicator to assess the appropriateness of groundwater quality for drinking water in the research location.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas metode percepatan dinamika kuantum adiabatik  pada sistem spin tunggal yaitu dinamika spin yang bergerak pada keadaan awal up (atas) akan bergerak ke down (bawah) pada keadaan akhir. Metode ini disebut skema fast forward. Metode ini pertama kali di usulkan oleh Masuda dan Nakamura. Dalam metode ini, skema percepatan dibangun dengan menambahkan suku interaksi penggerak ke Hamiltonian awal dan mempercepatnya dengan menggunakan faktor penskalaan waktu yang bernilai besar dan parameter adiabatik yang menuju nol (0) dan bertujuan mewujudkan dinamika kuantum adiabatik pada waktu yang singkat dan dengan penambahan medan magnet penggerak. Hamiltonian penggerak dan medan magnet penggerak ini menjamin spin tunggal dapat bergerak dari keadaan awal ke keadaan akhir  dalam waktu yang singkat tanpa mengubah karakteristik awalnya. Kata kunci: Adiabatik, Dinamika Kuantum, Spin tunggal AbstractThis study discusses the method of accelerating adiabatic quantum dynamics in a single spin system, namely the dynamics of a spin that moves in the up initial state will move down in the final state. This method is called a fast forward scheme. This method was first proposed by Masuda and Nakamura. In this method, the acceleration scheme is constructed by adding the driving interaction term to the initial Hamiltonian and accelerating it by using a large time scaling factor and adiabatic parameter towards zero (0) and aims to realize adiabatic quantum dynamics in a short time and  by adding a driving magnetic field. The driving Hamiltonian and the driving magnetic field ensure that a single spin can move from its initial state to its final state in a short time without changing its initial characteristics. Keywords : Adiabatic, Quantum Dynamics, Single Spin

Abstract

Hospitals with the work complexity level in it require an information system to help solve their problems. Each part of the hospital requires a different module. The module needs to integrate so that the data exchange flow becomes easier. The use of internet messengers, such as Telegram, can simplify the integration process required, thereby users can easily get information from the system. This article explained how to design bots on the Telegram platform to help users acquire information from the system easily. This Telegram Bot used the help of Cronjobs and Webhooks to retrieve information and execute messaging commands for the Telegram Bot. The results shown in this research were Telegram Bots designed to be tested using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) with very positive response results and are considered successful
