Abstract

The objectives of this study were to determine: 1) The integrated thematic learning process in class III SDN Prawit 1 Surakarta, 2) The application of the scientific approach to integrative thematic learning, 3) The teacher's strategy in overcoming the difficulties of using the scientific approach in integrative thematic learning in class III SDN Prawit 1 Surakarta. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were Class III teachers at SDN Prawit 1 Surakarta. Data collection methods in this study are through interviews, documentation, and literature study. Interviews are used to get the information needed. The results of this study are: (1) Overall, class III teachers of SD Negeri 1 Surakarta, in compiling a lesson plan (RPP) are appropriate. The teacher first classifies the material according to the aspects of scientific skills that will be trained on students in the preparation of lesson plans (RPP). (2) Learning with a scientific approach has been running in class III at Prawit 1 State Elementary School, Surakarta. Class teachers always try to practice 5M scientific skills (Observing, Asking, Gathering information, Associating, and Communicating). (3) The teacher's strategy in implementing integrative thematic learning activities in class III in order to overcome existing difficulties, requires appropriate supporting factors and strategies, so that learning objectives can be achieved.

Abstract

Civic education learning at this time only covers the cognitive domain, even though there are three (3) domains that must be met, namely cognitive, affective, psychomotor. There is a need for the development of technology and information, one of which is e-learning. E-learning is a learning model that is created in digital format through an electronic device. The purpose of writing this scientific article is to develop social media based e-learning in impoving civic education competency. Writing this article uses descriptive analytical methods, data collection, and data analysis. The result of the discussion : the use of social media such as Blog, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Path, dan Wikipedia is very helpfulin developing learning to improve civic education competence to discuss, interact, explore exisiting problems in society to move the sorrunding community to learning resources that can be accessed by social media so that they are connected to the global world.

Abstract

Seks adalah kebutuhan yang secara alami melekat pada setiap manusia, tidak terkecuali para remaja. Sudah seharusnya sekolah memberikan jawaban bagi kebutuhan seksual remaja agar tidak menyimpang. Akan tetapi, sekolah saat ini hanya sebatas memberikan pengetahuan tanpa kesadaran akan nilai dan norma dalam seks. Sehingga yang terjadi adalah pelanggaran-pelangaran seks dan penyalahgunaan alat-alat keamanan seks sebagai cara aman melakukan seks. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menemukan titik permasalahan dalam pendidikan seks yang belum mampu memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada peserta didik. Pendidikan seks yang diberikan secara terpisah-pisah menyebabkan sekat dalam pemahaman peserta didik. Pendidikan seks semestinya disampaikan secara terpadu antara agama dan sains sehingga tidak menimbulkan dikotomi pemahaman. Diharapkan setiap peserta didik tidak hanya mampu mengetahui seks (sains) namun juga menyadari nilai dan norma seks (agama). Kata kunci: Reorientasi, Pendidikan Seks, Remaja Abstract Sex is a necessity that is naturally inherent in every human being, not even the teenagers. School is supposed to provide an answer to the sexual needs of adolescents in order not to deviate. However, the school is currently limited only to impart knowledge without awareness of the values and norms in sex. So what happens is a violation of sex-violations and misuse of security tools safe sex as a way to have sex. This study sought to find trouble spots in sex education has not been able to have a significant impact on the learner. Sex education given separately cause bulkhead in understanding learners. Sex education should be delivered in an integrated manner between religion and science so as not to cause the dichotomy of understanding. It is expected that each learner is not only able to determine the sex (science) but also aware of the values and norms of sex (religion). Key words: Reorientation, Sex Education, Teeneger

Abstract

Abstrac: This research aims to determine implementation of Muhammadiyah philanthropy in curriculum documents, learning implementation, and learning evaluation in TK ABA in Jabodetabek. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection used triangulation concept with observation, interview and documentation. Results of this study are: (1) The implementation of Muhammadiyah philanthropy in the curriculum or lesson planning has not been well planned. (2) The implementation of Muhammadiyah philanthropy in learning activities has been carried out well and (3) The evaluation of Muhammadiyah philanthropy implementation is carried out by institution such as reports to partner institutions, documentations in institution and child development reports Keyword: Philanthropy, Muhammadiyah, Muhammadiyah Philanthropy, Early Childhood education, TK ABA Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi filantropi Muhammadiyah dalam dokumen kurikulum, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran TK ABA di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan konsep triangulasi dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil : (1) Implementasi filantropi dalam kurikulum atau perencanaan pembelajaran belum terencana dengan baik. (2) Implementasi filantropi Muhammadiyah dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sudah terlaksana dengan baik dan (3) Evaluasi pelaksanaan filantropi dilaksanakan oleh lembaga dengan berbagai model baik seperti laporan kepada lembaga mitra, dokumentasi di lembaga dan laporan perkembangan anak. Abstract

This paper describes the results of the intrinsic analysis in the form of the characterization of Dewi Madrim and Dewi Kunthi as the wife of Raden Pandhu Dewanata in the play Kunthi Select the dish of Purbo Asmoro. The characterization of two Pandhu wives can be used as an example of character for the life of Javanese women. Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop puzzle media in learning how to read symbols/images with the Know Want Learned method to improve reading comprehension skills in fourth grade students, (2) describe the quality and feasibility of learning media products in the form of puzzles using the know want learned method. in improving the reading comprehension ability of fourth grade students. This study uses research and development procedures (Research and Development). The media puzzle development procedure consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product trials are carried out on a small and large scale. The population is 10 elementary schools in Cluster I Ki Hajar Dewantoro, Ngargoyoso district, sample 3 public elementary schools. Data collection techniques using tests, observations, journals, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is in the form of data analysis of puzzle media products, prerequisite test, and discriminatory test. The results showed that the puzzle learning media that the researcher developed referred to the needs of students and teachers needs, with the aim of improving students reading comprehension skills. The puzzle media that the researcher developed is an educational learning media in the form of a rectangle with a size of 20 cm x 30 cm made of staff so that it is safe for students to use as learning media. The puzzle media that the researcher developed included symbol puzzles, symbol puzzles, and symbol/image puzzles. This Puzzle Learning Media is effectively used in learning how to read symbols/pictures because it can improve reading comprehension skills for fourth grade elementary school students in Cluster I Ki Hajar Dewantoro. Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop puzzle media in learning how to read symbols/images with the Know This study aims to describe the development process, development results and produce learning tools based on Team-Assisted Individualization (TAI) with questions of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) which are effective for improving critical thinking skills for students in grade 6. This study uses research and development procedures (Research and Development). The procedure for developing TAI-based learning tools in accordance with the HOTS question approach consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product trials are carried out on a small and large scale. The subjects consisted of 48 students from SD Negeri 01 Gedong, and 27 students from SD Negeri 01 Pondok. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques are in the form of learning device analysis, normality analysis, and analysis of the effectiveness of TAI-based learning device products with HOTS questions. The results showed that the TAI-based learning device product with HOTS questions developed showed effectiveness in improving critical thinking skills. It can be seen from the average value of students' critical thinking skills between the pretest and posttest according to the target, namely there is a significant difference (0.000 <0.05). This means that there is a significant difference in the critical thinking ability of the sixth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Gedong and SD Negeri 01 Pondok between the pretest and posttest. There is a significant difference that shows TAI-based learning tools with HOTS questions are effective for improving critical thinking skills. Abstract

This research was conducted in December - January on Sunday school teachers at the GUPDI church pasar legi Surakarta. This type of research was a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were GUPDI Sunday school teacher pasar legi Surakarta.Data collection techniques were through observation,intervie interview,and documentation.Observation was used to observe the role of sunday school teachers in accompanying and educating children. Interviews were conducted to obtain information needed by researchers. the documentation children out is to collect data and media about Sunday school teachers in educating children in the GUPDI church pasar legi Surakarta. The techninque of checking the validity of qualitative data was through technical triangulation. The method of analysis in this study was through data reduction, data presentation, data collection and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it could be shown that 1) Sunday school teachers at the GUPDI church pasar legi Surakarta had an important role in assisting the religious and moral development of aerly childhood, 2) Sunday school teachers carried out their duties in providing services and instilling religious and moral values to children in a holistic manner. responsible and loving, 3) Sunday school teacher's strategy in educating and guiding children was to give advice and motivation. The cooperation of teachers and perents could develop children's personality to be better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in children's cognitive abilities through Steam with Cooking Class at KB Aisyiyah Al-Amin Bibis Luhur Surakarta Academic Year 2022/2023. This research is Classroom Action Research using quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that STEAM activities with Cooking Class can improve children's cognitive abilities at the Aisyiyah Al-Amin Bibis Luhur Surakarta KB. This can be proven by the level of cognitive development of children who are developing very well. In cycle I, children's cognitive development experienced an increase of 50% in the criteria of developing as expected. Whereas in cycle II, children's cognitive development increased by 88.88% in the criteria of developing as expected. This research was banned in cycle II because it met the indicator success criteria, namely ≥80%. Based on this research, it can be concluded that Steam activities with Cooking Class can improve children's cognitive abilities at the Aisyiyah Al-Amin KB.

Abstract

The study aims to answer the question which becomes a problem of this study: “How is the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in teaching and learning reading for the eleventh grade students of SMA N 1 Jatinom?”. The data are collected through observation, interview, and documentation in the process of the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning method. This study uses four steps to analyze data, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions drawing. The step of application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) In the first step the teacher conveys the material to students and asks to listen to the material being explained. Secondly, the teacher asks students to read some of the material that has been explained. Thirdly, the teacher makes group discussions by dividing students into four groups, each group consisting of eight students. The fourth, students conducted discussions with their groups. Finally, students show the results of their discussion. After applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model, it becomes easier for students to understand the material and the teaching and learning process becomes more active and interactive.
