Abstract

This study aims to obtain a concrete picture of the effectiveness of the application of the principles of teacher Islamic communication in fostering the character of tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Rantauprapat. The communication process in education is not only understood as a one-way knowledge transfer process, however, there must be a serious effort on the part of the educator / teacher, as a communicator, to be able to provide good role models. Qualitative research methods try to understand a phenomenon as the understanding of the respondents studied, with an emphasis on the subjective aspects of one's behavior. Qualitative research provides an opportunity for researchers to understand the way respondents describe the world around them based on the way they think. The researcher tries to enter the conceptual world of the subject under study to capture what and how things happen. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews in this study researchers used a semi-structured interview (semitructure interview), namely: interviews in the category of in-depth interviews. Data about the application of teacher Islamic communication and the communication character of tenth grade students, data analysis used in this study during the field using the Miles and Huberman Model, namely the activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and continue continuously until completion, so that the data is already saturated.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengembangan model pembelajaran hybrid learning dengan pendekatan problem based learning (PBL) pada matakuliah Pengantar Sosiologi. Model pembelajaran hybrid Learning dengan pendekatan PBL matakuliah Pengantar adalah pembelajaran yang secara khusus dipergunakan pada perkuliahan tatap muka dan online di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Medan. Tujuan dari pengembangan model pembelajaran ini adalah agar dapat memberikan pedoman bagi dosen pengampu matakuliah Pengantar Sosiologi maupun mahasiswa dalam merencanakan, mengelola, mengembangkan serta mengevaluasi kegiatan pembelajaran.Dengan diintegrasikannya model hybird learning dan PBL dalam pembelajaran  dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi ajar dan capaian hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini telah berhasil merancang buku model, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajara, bahan ajar cetak dan bahan aajar non cetak yang telah divalidasi ahli. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan capaian hasil belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan penguraian artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan fenomena Manjolang Suaghang dalam praktek budaya orang Ocu. Praktek Manjolang Suaghang merupakan salah satu aspek budaya orang Ocu yang khas dan belum banyak dikenal oleh masyarakat pada umumnya. Sebagai budaya khas dari masyarakat orang Ocu, praktek  Manjolang Suaghang selain dilaksanakan secara bersamaan dalam satu paket kegiatan budaya, namun sebenarnya masing-masing memiliki kandungan makna yang berbeda. Manjolang memiliki substansi praktek budaya memberikan penghambaan atau penghormatan kepada keluarga pihak perempuan terutama kepada abang atau adik dari pihak ibu perempuan, yang secara adat adalah orang yang memiliki andil dan kuasa untuk memberikan Suaghang kepada laki-laki yang baru beberapa waktu sebagai orang baru dikeluarga pihak perempuan yang disebut dengan istilah menantu. Manjolang dimaknakan sebagai proses penghambaan dan Suaghang dimaknai sebagai penyerahan atau pemberian sebagai akibat status baru seorang laki-laki yang masuk ke dalam keluarga perempuan sebagai suami atau menatu. Praktek budaya ini biasanya dilakukan selang beberapa hari setelah dilangsungkannya sebuah perkawinan, dan bukanlah satu proses yang menyatu dalam keseluruhan tahapan perkawinan dalam masyarakat orang Ocu, akan tetapi murni sebagai salah satu bentuk penghargaan yang sangat tinggi terhadap seorang laki-laki baru yang akan hidup bersama dalam keluarga pihak perempuan dengan status menantu. Dalam realitasnya praktek budaya ini tidak semua orang Ocu keluarga orang mampu untuk melakukannya, akan tetapi sangat dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan kelas sosial. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam, kepada nara sumber terpilih. Adapun lokasi pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah Di Kenegarian Rumbio Lama, Kecamatan Kampar Propinsi Riau, dengan jangka waktu lebih kurang selama 7 (tujuh bulan), antara bulan Desember 2016 sampai dengan bulan Juni 2017. Hasil penganalisaan terhadap data didapatkan bahwa praktek Manjolang Suaghang sebagai praktek budaya lokal (kearifan lokal) masyarakat orang Ocu, ternyata memiliki sisi-sisinya yang unik, yaitu sejak awal sudah tercium perbedaan kelas sosialnya dan tidak jarang akan bermetamorposis menjadi bibit konflik dalam keluarga perempuan sekaligus penyebab retaknya suatu perkawinan.

Abstract

Each employee has different performance from one another, this is due to several factors including self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation, so this study aims to determine and partially analyze the effect of self-efficacy on performance and intrinsic motivation on performance and influence in a partial way. simultaneous self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation on the performance of the Marketing Division employees at PT. Bank X This type of research is an associative study, using a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 60 people, so that all populations were sampled in this study. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that partially there is a positive and significant influence between self-efficacy on employee performance in the marketing division, there is a positive and significant influence between intrinsic motivation on employee performance in the marketing division, there is a positive and significant influence between self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation of division employees marketing, there is an effect of self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation on employee performance simultaneously employees of the marketing division of PT. Bank X

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of the leadership of PTS and PTN rectors throughout Indonesia regarding the full exemption of UKT for students who are affected by the Covid 19 virus and the impact of criminal and civil law on leaders or higher education institutions. In the context of this problem, the authors see from the optical psychology of law aspects in the legal review process, with two approaches to religious norms and an approach with positive legal norms. Furthermore, to support the purpose of this study, the paradigm used in this study is the post-positivism paradigm. The results of the study show that, based on the formulation of the criminal provisions of Law No.12 of 2012 on Higher Education, criminal provisions are regulated for those who commit criminal offenses. Meanwhile, regarding administrative sanctions for PTS and PTN higher education institutions that violate it, they are subject to administrative sanctions. Of the various administrative sanctions that have been regulated, there are also no rules for PTS and PTN to get sanctions, if they do not give full UKT exemption to students. What is regulated relating to students is only in Article 76 (1) "the government, local governments, and / or tertiary institutions are obliged to fulfill the rights of economically disadvantaged students to be able to complete their studies in accordance with academic regulations.

Abstract

This study describes the authority of Tuan Imam and the communal culture practiced in the Kampung MATFA (Majelis Taqlim Fardhu Ain) Langkat District of North Sumatra. This research uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the Kampung MATFA implements a communal system in its social, cultural and economic activities. In addition, there is no private ownership that is shared ownership based on spiritual teachings delivered by the leader. The conclusion in this study is that the leader of Kampung MATFA, Tuan Imam, has the authority to manage his congregation by building a communal culture in maintaining its existence as a charismatic leader and his congregation for survival.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the patterns of occupation of public space and land tenure carried out by the Youth Organization in the City of Medan. The intended public space is a parking lot, security of traditional markets and entertainment venues, located in a location controlled by one of the youth organizations, this location must be protected so that it is not controlled by other youth organizations. The research method used is the qualitative method with ethnographic approach and data collection techniques using participant observation and interviews. The results of this study explain the pattern carried out in controlling this public space by collaborating (patron-client) with related parties such as regional market companies, the Department of Transportation and the City Government. The collaboration was carried out by providing a number of accommodation funds to the service in the form of deposits and tenders. The cooperating with private parties such as property developers in order to get permission to provide building materials, the tender for the supply of project materials must pass the youth organization, In launching occupation of public space and land tenure. Not a few of the leaders or members of the Youth Organization entered the political sphere such as becoming a member of the DPRD, so the member had the power to distribute tenders or government projects or private.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the topic of What is the Legal Position of Bonus Shares in a Company Legal Perspective? What is the Legal Position of Bonus Shares Against Mixing of Marriage Assets? The method used in this paper is a normative juridical approach, using a statutory approach approach (postproach status), conceptual approach (conceptual approach) and case approach. The results of this study indicate that the legal position of Bonus Shares in the perspective of Company Law is as dividends and if it is related to marital assets, then from the perspective of marriage law, Bonus Shares can become Congenital Assets or Joint Assets depending on the time of acquisition. The conclusion of this research is that if it is related to marital assets, the position of Bonus Shares in marital assets needs to be reviewed from the time the Bonus Shares are acquired. If the Bonus Shares are obtained during the marriage, the Bonus Shares will become joint assets even though the original shares were acquired either before marriage or at the time of marriage as regulated in Article 35 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. Meanwhile, if the Bonus Shares are obtained prior to the marriage, even though the party concerned carries out the marriage, the Bonus Shares remain the assets concerned as stipulated in Article 35 paragraph (2) of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage.

Abstract

This study aims to find the influence of leadership, organizational culture, organizational commitment, job satisfaction on the performance of the lecturers at Serambi Mekkah Aceh University, totaling 270 people. The sample collection technique used proportional random sampling in order to obtain a sample of 152 people. The data were collected using a questionnaire filled out by respondents from Serambi Mekkah University lecturers. The data analysis technique was carried out in two stages, namely descriptively and inferential. The results showed that: leadership (X1) and organizational culture (X2) had a direct and positive effect on organizational commitment (X3); leadership (X1), organizational culture (X2) and organizational commitment (X3) have a direct and positive effect on job satisfaction (X4); leadership (X1), organizational culture (X2), organizational commitment (X3) and job satisfaction (X4) have a direct and positive effect on lecturer performance (X5). Based on the research results, a fixed model is found that describes the structure of the causal relationship between the variables of leadership, organizational culture, organizational commitment and job satisfaction on the performance of lecturers in the performance model of Universitas Serambi Mekkah lecturers in Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and examine : (1) the employee performance model built on associative causal relationships between exogenous variables and endogenous variables,, (2) the effect  of organizational culture on job motivation, (3) the effect of leadership on job motivation, (4) the effect of cognitive ability on job motivation, (5) the effect of organizational culture on employee performance, (6) the effect of leadership on employee performance (7) the effect of cognitive ability on employee performance, and (8) the effect of job motivation on employee performance. This research was conducted at Diskominfo office in North Sumatera by involving 139 employee as respondents. Data collection is done by using a questionnaire with five answer choices. The sampling technique were used proportional random sampling. The instruments were used first tried out to respondent outside the sample to obtain validity and reliability Instruments. Validity test uses Product Moment correlation, while to test its reliability with Alpha formula from Cronbach. Before testing the hypothesis, especially before the test is calculated, the requirements of the analysis include: normality data test and regression linearity test. The results showed (1) Obtained the employee performance model, (2) there is positive direct effect of organizational culture to job motivation, (3) there is positive direct effect of leadership to job motivation, (4) there is positive direct effect of cognitive ability to job motivation, (5) there is positive direct effect of organizational culture to employee performance, (6) there is positive direct effect of leadership to employee performance, (7) there is positive direct effect of cognitive ability to employee performance, and (8) there is positive direct effect of job motivation to employee performance. Based on the acceptance of the research hypothesis, it is found a fixed model that describes the structure of causal relationships between organizational culture, leadership, cognitive ability, job motivation and employee performance at Diskominfo office in North Sumatera.
