Abstract

Program dan kebijakan dibidang Diklat menggunakan biaya yang sangat besar. Tetapi kenyataan yang dihadapi Pegawai didalam pelaksanaan tugasnya para masih saja kurang mampu sesuai dengan bidang tugas yang dibebankan kepadanya. Sehingga mengakibatkan lemahnya kinerja pegawai yang berdampak pada lemahnya kinerja organisasi. Diklat diluar Balai atau Diklat Ditempat Kerja (DDTK) yang sudah dilaksanakan namun belum sepenuhnya mampu menjawab peningkatan kemampuan para Pegawai. Dalam rangka itu dilakukan diklat bagi Pegawai Negeri Sipil. Pengetahuan dan kemampuan PNS perlu mendapat perhatian yang serius dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi yang harapkan. Penelitian ini ingin menjawab Bagaimana proses penentuan peserta, proses belajar mengajar proses evaluasi diklat diluar Balai atau Diklat Ditempat Kerja (DDTK) studi kasus pada DDTK tata persuratan Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Binjai Tahun 2013. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembahasan adalah deskriptif yang akan memberikan gambaran atas fenomena yang dibahas. Setelah dilakukan penelitian terhadap responden maka diperoleh hasil bahwa responden memberikan mengatakan respon terhadap koesioner dengan memberi jawaban DDTK Tata Persuratan bermanfaat dan dapat menambah ilmu pengetahuan Pegawai. Hasil ini diperoleh dari Jawaban yang diberikan oleh responden pada keosioner yang telah disampaikan secara umum menjawab bermanfaat, mampu memberikan penambahan ilmu pengetahuan dalam pelaksanaan tugas. Berdasarkan hasil maka perlu dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan spiritual terhadap komoitmen afektif guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penelitian, analisis data bersifat kuantitatif/statistik, dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 130 orang dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 98 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan spiritual, berkontribusi secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap komitmen afektif. Semakin tinggi nilai kepemimpinan spertual seseorang maka, komitmen afektif juga tinggi. Semakin tinggi kepemimpinan spiritual yang dimiliki pemimpin maka akan meningkatkan komitmen afektif karyawan melalui spiritualitas di tempat kerja yang juga semakin tinggi. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah kepemimpinan spiritual yang dimiliki pemimpin akan menurunkan komitmen afektif karyawan melalui spiritualitas di tempat kerja yang juga semakin rendah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja guru SMP Negeri Babussalam Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penelitian, analisis data bersifat kuantitatif/statistik, dengan tujuan untuk mendeksripsikan hasil kinerja guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Berdasarkan kajian teori, hasil penelitian, analisis deskriptif yang dilaksanakan mengenai kinerja guru SMP Negeri Kecamatan Babussalam Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara ditemukan bahwa kinerja guru-guru SMP Negeri tersebut masih tergolong sedang karena dilihat dari aspek perencanaan sampai kepada, proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih mengalami kemerosotan seperti masalah kedisiplinan, penggunaan media pembelajaran dan tidak inovatif sehingga belum mampu menumbukan motivasi dan minat siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Disamping itu juga, guru-guru masih acuh terhadap tugas dan kewajibannya.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a concrete picture of the effectiveness of the application of the principles of teacher Islamic communication in fostering the character of tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Rantauprapat. The communication process in education is not only understood as a one-way knowledge transfer process, however, there must be a serious effort on the part of the educator / teacher, as a communicator, to be able to provide good role models. Qualitative research methods try to understand a phenomenon as the understanding of the respondents studied, with an emphasis on the subjective aspects of one's behavior. Qualitative research provides an opportunity for researchers to understand the way respondents describe the world around them based on the way they think. The researcher tries to enter the conceptual world of the subject under study to capture what and how things happen. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews in this study researchers used a semi-structured interview (semitructure interview), namely: interviews in the category of in-depth interviews. Data about the application of teacher Islamic communication and the communication character of tenth grade students, data analysis used in this study during the field using the Miles and Huberman Model, namely the activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and continue continuously until completion, so that the data is already saturated.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and examine : (1) the employee performance model built on associative causal relationships between exogenous variables and endogenous variables,, (2) the effect  of organizational culture on job motivation, (3) the effect of leadership on job motivation, (4) the effect of cognitive ability on job motivation, (5) the effect of organizational culture on employee performance, (6) the effect of leadership on employee performance (7) the effect of cognitive ability on employee performance, and (8) the effect of job motivation on employee performance. This research was conducted at Diskominfo office in North Sumatera by involving 139 employee as respondents. Data collection is done by using a questionnaire with five answer choices. The sampling technique were used proportional random sampling. The instruments were used first tried out to respondent outside the sample to obtain validity and reliability Instruments. Validity test uses Product Moment correlation, while to test its reliability with Alpha formula from Cronbach. Before testing the hypothesis, especially before the test is calculated, the requirements of the analysis include: normality data test and regression linearity test. The results showed (1) Obtained the employee performance model, (2) there is positive direct effect of organizational culture to job motivation, (3) there is positive direct effect of leadership to job motivation, (4) there is positive direct effect of cognitive ability to job motivation, (5) there is positive direct effect of organizational culture to employee performance, (6) there is positive direct effect of leadership to employee performance, (7) there is positive direct effect of cognitive ability to employee performance, and (8) there is positive direct effect of job motivation to employee performance. Based on the acceptance of the research hypothesis, it is found a fixed model that describes the structure of causal relationships between organizational culture, leadership, cognitive ability, job motivation and employee performance at Diskominfo office in North Sumatera.

Abstract

This study dealt with Question Word in English and North Aceh Dialect of Acehnese. The objectives of the study were to investigate the similarities, differences, and implication of question words in English and Acehnese by using Paul’s theory. This study was conducted by using descriptive library research. The data of this study were taken from some books of English and Acehnese grammatical structure. For collecting data, this study used the method of contrastive analysis. The findings showed that there were five similarities and seven differences based on form and function. Question word in English and Acehnese were partly-correspondences in terms of form. There were the question word in both languages can be placed at the beginning of question, while Acehnese question word can be placed in the middle of question after added a based word /tu-/ that can produce a new question word. In term of function, Question word in English and Acehnese were partly-correspondences because both languages were asking about informations, while in English there were two question words that can change the basic function after added the word “about”.Keywords: Question Word, English, North Aceh Dialect, Acehnese.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to find out signs, the realization of signs in to denotative and connotative meanings, and the reasons for signs realization on Tugu Si Raja Batak in Sarimarrihit Village, Sianjur Mula-Mula sub-district, Samosir Regency. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach. The data of this study were taken from Tugu Si Raja Batak. The data of the study were statues and pictures on Tugu Si Raja Batak. The data analysis was taken by observing, interviewing, and then analyzed the data based on the theory proposed by Roland Barthes. The findings indicated that there were twenty-two signs on Tugu Si Raja Batak in four forms, namely human ornaments, animal ornaments, plant ornaments, and carving. The signs of human ornaments were the Si Raja Batak means descendants with different clans and some servants for different work. The signs of animal ornaments made to show that Si Raja Batak and his descendants used the animals around him as transportations. Then, the plant ornaments they were Lime (Pangir) and Banyan tree (Jajabi) appear because the Batak people are famous for traditional medicine that uses plants such as Lime (Pangir) and betel as medicine for sick people, possessed people, and also for offerings to their ancestors. Furthermore, in the Tugu Si Raja Batak, carvings made because the Si Raja Batak seat requires beautiful decoration and their culture to respect the kings

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal and explain honorific subjective pronouns used by Minangnese in Kecamatan Medan Area by trying to find out the type most used, the way, and the reason of people in Kecamatan Medan Area to use it. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, this study conducted in Kecamatan Medan Area, there were 32 Minangnese in Kecamatan Medan Area as respondents. In this research, the data collected by using an interview and questionnaire. The findings of this study that Minangnese Subjective Pronouns in Kecamatan Medan Area mostly used were first honorific subject pronouns Ambo/Denai with 93 times chosen, second honorific subject pronouns Menyebut nama orang lain (call a name) with 91 times chosen, and third Personal Subject Pronouns si + nama orang with 120 times chosen. Age, gender, situation, and formality that determined the way of people in Kecamatan Medan Area using honorific subjective pronouns and reason of respondents in Kecamatan Medan Area using Minangnese honorific subjective pronouns were adapting situation and politeness

Abstract

The writer was found the result of this study about Terms of Address in Pesisir Barus Notrth Sumatera Kecamatan Barus, Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah. this study aims to determine the kinds and factors of using Address Terms in Pesisir Barus community. And the data use by applying descriptive qualitative and quantitative method. The source of data was taken from the interviewing, video, recording and conversation in community. The technique for analyzing the data is descriptive qualitative research based on Wardaugh’s. The result of this reserach was kinds, factors and function in Pesisir Barus Community. The most dominant kinds the terns of address are used by pesisir barus community is RT (62 times), the most dominant rarely used by pesisir barus community is KT (56 times), PN (16 times), FN (11 times), and MT (2 times), IT (4 times) is seldom used by Pesisir Barus Community. There are four kinds factors and function of the terns of address in Pesisir Barus Community can be divided as G (Gender), A (Age), FR (Family Relationship). R (Respect). With the total factors of address terms used by Pesisir Barus Community was analysis G (27 times), A (28 times), FR (36 times), R (60 times).

Abstract

The research dealt with taboo words in Deapool movie. The objectives of research aimed at explaining the types of taboo words and also to figure out motives of using taboo words in Deadpool movie. The research conducted by using descriptive qualitative method. This study was different from previous researcher that found types and function of taboo words while in this study focused on types and motives of using taboo words. The data were taken from the utterances that contain taboo words by first main character in this movie. There were 82 taboo words that had been uttered in this movie. From nine types of taboo words, there were eight of them, they were Cursing 2,44 %, Profanity 3,66 %, Obscenity 40,24%, Vulgarity 6,10 %, Insults and slurs 9,76 %, Slang 12,20 %, Epithets 20,73 %, and Scatology 2,44 %. And for the motives of using taboo words, there were five from five motives of them, they were Angry or Frustration 30,48 %, Descriptive- evaluative 43,90 %, Joking 7,32 %, Surprise 14,64 %, and Sarcastic Irony Insults 3,66 %.
